Ulemper: Very tiny seats, tough for a westerner.
Ulemper: No entertainment, no place to plug in devices, extremely uncomfortable. The worst part was the Dixie cup of water served. Really?!? A bottle or larger cup would have broke the bank? Was so thirsty by the time we landed even though I had the attendants bring me water three times.

Fordele: Got upgraded to first class, there wasn’t any TVs but it was only an hour long flight. Staff was also really nice

Ulemper: Bad ticketing system. Too narrow seat position. Crews are using too strong perfume. Bad altitude changing. Overally it was worst experience in my life.
Good Value and Service!
Fordele: Good value for the money. Flight crew was young and exuberant, very willing to make the passengers journey as comfy as possible. Surprised an inflight meal and two checked bags were included in my fare. Other international carriers would have charged extra! Hope this Korean Air economy carrier sticks around. Hope to fly them again!
Ulemper: The plane was on the old side with worn seat cushions. Not the most comfy for long haul flights. No pillows, blankets or inflight entertainment. Do bring your own blanket or jacket and do not forget the snacks!
Fordele: Food was good quality and good portion for the duration of the flight.
Ulemper: Seat were smaller than Korean air everything else feels like any other budget airline
Jin Air is always the right choice!
Fordele: Wide leg room, nice customer service and most importantly being able to check in baggages up to 15kg for free!!!

Great Airline, Great Service
Fordele: We were actually on Korean Air, not Jin Air due to our change in schedule. Korean Air staff in Hanoi were truly excellent. They even followed thru so that staff in Seoul assisted us with our connection. We were very impressed. Korean Air's flight attendants have always been professional and courteous. The level of service is superior to most airlines we've used.
Ulemper: Absolutely nothing.
Worst 5-hour flight on ancient plane!

No indication you were to check in with a different airline
Ulemper: Please indicate in bold print which airline you check in with if two or more are listed! Due to the ambiguity on our reservation we nearly missed our flight. Many other passengers on this flight had the same problem.
Ulemper: The flight was suppose to be a direct flight but we end up stoping at Hongkong. We were on the plane for over 12 hours instead of 5 hours and 20 mins.
Ulemper: I was just put on whatever seat was available.
Great airline
Fordele: the trip with Jin air from Clark was good, the trip from Inchon was good
Fordele: Great flight, good service
Ulemper: It was all fine.
Fordele: This was a codeshare with JinAir. The staff was friendly and helpful. The plane was small, but thankfully there were plenty of open seats so it felt spacious.
Fordele: It was okay!
Ulemper: The connecting flight was a little confusing, most of us don't know what's going on or where to get the boarding pass.
Budget Airline
Fordele: It's what you expect from a budget airline. Was actually happy they had food.
Ulemper: The food was not good at all. The seats were uncomfortable. There is no entertainment.
Fordele: Comfortable seats.
Fordele: Good for a short hop from Korea to Japan
Cheat deal
Fordele: I paid for Korean air tickets only to realize I got cheap flight on Jin air. I puposely paid more for a real airline. Not some tiny seat budget airline that can't even serve a proper meal. This is the last time I buy on kayak!
Ulemper: EVERYTHING
Fordele: The crew were so accommodating
Ulemper: No entertainment and the food is few and no other choice for free drinks
Ulemper: Delay from Japan to Korea 7 hours.
Fordele: Thy got us there (an hour late).
Ulemper: Poor food. Soda is extra charge. Flight crew was in bluejeans.
Boarding passes only available at the airport at the time of the flight.
No legroom.
Ulemper: Very tight on legroom.

Check-in
Ulemper: I could only check-in 2 hours before hand and that annoyed me because it's very stressful to check-in that close to departure and get through security and customs. I was especially upset that I booked my flight with Korean Air and didn't find out it was actually with Jin Air and I could could not check in with Korean Air.

Second Time Flying With You
Fordele: The only positive about this flight was the cleanliness of the aircraft.
Ulemper: Flight attendants are dismissive of their non korean passengers. Flight was late in departing from Angeles.

Ulemper: The flight was delayed due to weather almost missed my connecting flight to New York but the crew was helpful. Really appreciate the flight attendants help.lo

Fordele: when I tried to to make changes to my trip they asked me for three hundred and fifty Dollars so I called Korean air changes were made at NO EXTRA charge
Ulemper: Korean airlines ignored my wife's request for a wheel chair. She explained that she was a diabetic and was feeling dizzy. They did allow her access to a short cut through the terminals; however she had collapsed, broke her watch, cover to the cell phone, injured both legs and right arm. She kept yelling for help and no one arrived, she managed while in intense pain to get up make her flight. When she arrived in Bangkok she went immediately to the Emergency Room and received treatment.
I am appalled at the indifference of the members of the boarding crew that didn't offer assistance to my wife.
Fordele: No entertainment on the flight at all, food was ok. Lucky that I got bump to prestige otherwise I will have comment on seat as well

Ulemper: Nothing was good about the flight. Sub standard . Transfer was not good either.
JIN air is not worth your money.
Ulemper: Almost everything. Jin boarding system is suck. They can't give me the boarding pass for the transit flight and they don't know what should I do when I am going transit. This is even more frustrating when the flight is delayed and you have 1 hour of international flight transiting. Food is cool and tasteless. I won't fly with Jin air ever again. I would say that after all these years of at least 70000 miles of air traveling. This is the WORSE of my experience.

FLIGHT STEWARDESS TREATED ME LIKE I AM IGNORANT OF
Fordele: I am a frequent flyer internationally and domestically in the USA, and flown multiple airlines but have never ever felt offended by a flight crew until my return flight to the US from Clark airport in the Philippines scheduled to depart on 1-13-2016 at 11:55pm. The cabin flight stewardess in her navy blue top and jeans asked me to sit down when she saw me standing at the front of the plane while the plane was cruising. There was no turbulence at that time, the seat belt sign was off and the captain did not announce a need to stay seated with the seat belt on. I explained that my back and left leg hurts so I needed to stretch, shake it off and stand. She insisted that I sit for my safety. I did not argue because I did not want to cause trouble. Then I asked her for the toilet which was behind her, hidden as she keeps the curtain pulled around the toilet and galley. She directed me to the tail of the plane when I am seated at #28B at first row at the front of the plane, 4-5 steps away from me. She kept still, standing in front of the toilet until I walked away to the back of the plane. Again, I did not complain nor argue. I thought to myself that maybe the front toilet if off limits to passengers. Then later when I returned to my seat, I watched all other passengers who appear of her same race and talked same language as hers, pull the curtain covering the toilet and galley, use the toilet and get drinks from her freely. I felt very offended that I was not allowed to use this toilet as every one else have and did not receive the same friendly service as those passengers. I wanted to keep to myself about this but I realized I was treated unequally. So I told her that I was offended that she directed me to the back of the plane to use the toilet while everyone else used the front of the plane toilet. I also told her I felt I was not treated equally and felt very hurt. She kept apologizing after I explained how I feel but her apology does not take away the fact that I was treated differently and unequally. I advised her that she should not treat her passengers as if we are ignorant of flying, of our rights and of flying etiquette. She kept apologizing every time she passes by me throughout the flight but this did not ease my feelings at all. This was the last blow to my dissatisfaction with this trip beginning with the 2-hour flight delay. With many other airlines flying to Clark airport in the Philippines, I choose not to fly Jin Air again. In fact, I already booked with another airline today for my next trip with my family in 6 months for a wedding. I will not recommend Jin Air to everyone I know.

Bad
Fordele: For a 6 hours flight there should be some form of in flight entertainment. There was nothing.
It also took over an hour to board and we were delayed to our connecting flight by 30 min and almost didn't catch our second flight.
ZERO LEG ROOM
Fordele: Love the casual jeans and bright colors the crew wear!
Ulemper: Absolutely zero leg room....as in my knees hit the seat in front of me and I am not that tall!
Fordele: I liked the fact the plane made it there and landed so I could get the heck off that hunk of trash.
Fordele: Seat were okay.
Ulemper: No real food, and you have to pay extra for soda. no entertainment for 5 hrs. The crew doesn't speak English at all. Only korean
Ulemper: This is just an awful airline overall. The crews were not professionally dress. Boarding crew need to be able to look at a passenger ticket and ask where I'm traveling before restricting me on luggage issues because traveling internationally overseas and traveling internationally within neighboring countries have different rules. And they don't consider the aircraft that I was traveling on. My carry on luggage fit fine and no problem. I had this problem flying from Seoul to Bangkok and from Bangkok to Seoul and these were not my final destinations just connecting flights. I will never fly Jin Air again. I had a horrible experience and the crew members followed their protocol but rather ask questions and did more research before putting their airlines restrictions on me based on what they see gave me a very difficult time. Even though it was resolved but it set the tone for my flight on the wrong foot.

Jin Air Needs a lot of improvement
Fordele: There was nothing I like about this flight.
Ulemper: The plane was old. There was a technical problem with the plan, so the flight was delayed for two hours. There was no entertainment whatsoever to help with the situation. In addition, the food was really bad.
Very confusing and anxious
Fordele: Angeles City is a great alternative airport for Manila. No crowds and convenient to Northern Luzon.
Ulemper: During check in the attendant tried to charge me for my luggage and only wanted to check it in to Seoul. Due to my insistance for over an hour the attendant finally communicated with someone in Jin Air who knew what was supposed to happen in regards to my baggage. Finally got two bags checked in to Atlanta with no charge because it was included with the ticket. Jin Air needs to train their attendants on proper check in procedures for connectinng flights.
