Ulemper: My connecting flight going to CGY from MNL August 24th was really depressing - took very long on the runway, assuming it's due to runway traffic? BUT, don't they know these problem occurs almost daily? then my luggage wasn't on my flight? had to stay 1night in hotel which PAL should've pay for.
Fordele: Everything was smooth except that the flight was delayed.
Ulemper: Flights should be on time.
Fordele: Nothing special about this flight but everything up to standard.
Ulemper: 30 min delay due to Manila airport constraints. Is there any plan to actually finish the construction of Manila airport? Seems like my whole adult life the reconstruction is still going on and on. Probably my grandchildren will see the finish but I lost hope.

Ulemper: Airport organization, traffic flow overall was not good.
Ulemper: Not good for elderly passengers w/ health issues and traveling alone!!! Ridiculous delays. Extremely inconvenienced at the Holiday Inn Hotel, where PAL bused us early morning b/c plane was grounded. Waited too long to check into hotel room until PAL resolved payment issue. Departed SF next day.

Fordele: They bumped us up to seats with unlimited leg room (no seats in front of us). It was an incredibly comfortable flight. Since it was also a very short flight, I can't say all that much
Fordele: Seat was okay but mine was not the seat assigned to me - which was non- existent.
Ulemper: Punctuality to fly to destination was lacking.

Ulemper: I did not like the fact that they moved my flight time and notified me the day before. Coron has poor connectivity, luckily I checked my email the day before and noticed that our flights were moved a few hours early.we were bumped up unfortunately even when tickets were bought full price.
Ulemper: Be ONTIME BUT YOUR ALWAYS LATE, 30 MIN THIS TIME
Fordele: The crew was amazing as always and the food was also very good.
Ulemper: I did not find the seat to be very comfortable. The seat cushion was very uncomfortable to sit on for such a long flight. This prevented me from getting any sleep on the plane.

Ulemper: No vegetarian meals or wine on PAL domestic flights. I don’t think the flight had entertainment available.
Fordele: I like nothing about this airlines!..they are SCAM!!! SCAM!!!!
Ulemper: DELAYED for more than 3 hours..I’m done with this airline.

Ulemper: New plane . Clean . Super delayed flight with no extra compensation to us.

My check through baggage was handled well.

Ulemper: Very disorganized as we didn’t know which way to go looking for terminal 2 despite all the answers we got from asking the airport staff, security and information desk!
Ulemper: Two hours flight delay from sfo to the philipines. Had to land in japan because they ran out of gas. I had a domestuc connecting flight and had to get my luggage from the carousel. Go through customs and re check rhe luggage in for domestic flught and catch the connecting flight. Heading back to Sfo same routine.

Ulemper: Cramped seating, difficult to get to the bathroom, no entertainment, disorganized boarding process.
Changed luggage allowance without notice on return flight
Fordele: 15 kg one way, 10 kg on return. Overhead bins too small to accommodate carryons.
Ulemper: The flight delay announcements were not easy to unserarmtand & not timely.
Didnt get choice seats
Ulemper: Bought choice seats for comfort and legroom, but did not get them due to aircraft change
Ulemper: Too many changes, cost an overnight stay in Manila costing 7k + php

Flight resched 24 hour prior to flight
Fordele: The crew are awesome. We left my son’s carry on (in it was his homework) at tge baggage claim area. AJ pleasantly kept it for us.
Ulemper: We are in Coron (an remote island with hardly no internet) and luckily I received. An email notification that our flight was resched 2 hours early. I asked them why, they said they are overbooked. I did not consent to this but they said that they have notified my travel agent which is Kayak. They have apologized but there us nothing they can do.I told them I do not want to be resched early at 0800 which means we have to leave the resort at 0500 since the resort is in an island and the travel to the airport is about 1 hour. I have a 7 year and elderly in laws in their 70s. I want them to have adequate rest since the previous day we were island hopping for 8 hours. I do not like the fact that they would bump a group of 7 whenever they want to.
Fordele: At 1210 they finally announced our plane was late. Onky after i asked them if we were going to board ontime i was told POSSIBLY. HOW IS THAT WHEN THERE IS NO PLANE TO BOARD. WE WERE 95 MINUTES LATE REACHING DUMAGUETE. THIS AIRLINE IS HORRIBLE. AND YOUR APP SHOWS ARRIVED ON TIME WHAT A JOKE

Ahhhh finally a sweet experience with an airline!
Fordele: clean plane, roomy seats, a pleasant change from the planes in the states. At first, I was disappointed to see that I was flying in a propeller powered plane, but as I experienced the flight I was pleasantly surprised to find that this plane was the newest, most high tech sophisticated prop plane I've ever been on. (I'm used to dilapidated old turboprop planes kept running from the 50's and 60's) I look forward to my next PAL flight & highly recommend them to anyone considering a trip.
Ulemper: Initially, the fact that it wasn't a jet, but all that changed after I flew in it

Fordele: From check in to arrival was great with no problems.
Ulemper: Only a brief delay of 25 minutes.
Fordele: Quick boarding and seat was comfortable.
Ulemper: Just water, tea or coffee to drink. No juices available.
Fordele: Short flight
Ulemper: Not enough leg room
Ulemper: Xiamen airlines is horrible. The staff is rude and not at all accommodating.
