Ulemper: Old plane, seats broke, otherwise ok flight
Fordele: Nothing. Terrible airline and unfriendly service.
Ulemper: We had an issue trying to check in at the airport. They said that Kayak.com or Kiwi.com made a mistake with the payment or booking and our names did not show up on the flight list. It took an hour to resolve and it was extremely stressful. We almost missed out flight. This was major disappointment.
Fordele: The crew was so rude with everyone. Soecially with this indigenous sinior lady, anf the botther of thid disabled guy.
Ulemper: I think peruvian airlines have to train this employes better so they dan givr a betyer service.

Ulemper: Did not board by groups, no in flight entertainment, no beverages offered
Ulemper: The flight was delayed by over 3 hours. There were no staff at the airport to provide any information until over 2 hours after the plane was due to depart. The reason for the delay was given as weather - despite 10 other flights to the same destination departing on time with various airlines.
Fordele: We got to the airport early, and they allowed us to take an earlier flight! We really really appreciated that.
Ulemper: We had trouble checking in online, and ultimately gave up on that and just checked in in person.
Fordele: Very secure and efficient
Fordele: Bargain last minute flight. Better service than a typical US domestic flight.
Ulemper: Fight was an hour delayed and they didn’t give any information. Instead of putting ‘delayed’ on the board they just didn’t but the flight up. Half the planes luggage was left behind so there was chaos in Lima. They put one staff on to talk to 50+ angry people and write down all their information.
Fordele: Crew was friendly
Ulemper: I would love somewhere to charge my device!

Ulemper: Flight was delayed twice, had to sit on the plane for an extra amount of time before take off for who knows what reason, no one knew which seat they were supposed to be in
Ulemper: So much delay with no information, completely cancelled a flight with no warning. No web flight status updates or check in. Will never fly again with Peruvian airlines

Fordele: The flight attendants were courteous, but that’s about all that was good.
Ulemper: Late flight with no communication. Most cramped seats I have ever sat in and I fly 100+ times a year across airlines.
Fordele: Never got on our flight.
Ulemper: We showed up to check in counter nearly 2 hours before our flight and were invountarily bumped to a flight a few hours later. We only had a few hours to spend in our next destination and this ruined that oportunity. We were offered zero compensation as well for being involuntarily bumped.
Fordele: We arrived early for our flight and the lady checking us in offered to put us on an earlier flight for no charge! We also wern't sure about baggage, but we were again charged nothing! Not only did we get into lima by the time we were due to depart, it costed us nothing! We will certainly fly Peruvian airlines again!
Ulemper: Small plane
Fordele: My original flight was delayed, so when I arrived particularly early to the airport, the woman at the check-in desk switched me to an earlier flight with extra seats for no cost. That was amazing. The one star ratings for food and entertainment are misleading, as neither were offered on this hour-long flight.
Ulemper: No downsides.

Ulemper: The delayed..I wanted to sleep more but you delayed my flight and people always say you are a bad company for delays
Fordele: We were a group of 14 pax. Peruvian Airlines provided a courtesy check -in desk. We were informed of a flight delay, however they never gave a time frame
Ulemper: 3 Hours after check-in the flight was cancelled and told to try back the next day. No guarantees were given, nor were we offered meal vouchers considering that we had been at the airport since 5am. Furthermore the airline had the gull to tell us tickets were non refundable and we just have to keep coming back and forth to the airport to check on availability. This was rather bizarre, like a nightmare scenario from a horror movie. We insisted on a letter from the airline to explain the reason for the cancellation so we could get reimbursement from the travel company back in the USA. We headed for the bus station to take a 23 hour ride from Cusco to La Paz
The worst airline in Latin America
Fordele: Absolutely nothing to like about this airline
Ulemper: The flight was delayed by more than 2.5 hours without a single announcement. There was no information displayed on the screens. All of the other airlines had flights leaving with no problem, but there Peruvian stayed without even a flight status. The agents were quite rude when I asked questions. Then worse of all, they made us check our carry-on, even thought there was plenty of space for it on the plane. So on top of arriving to Peru more than 2.5 hours late, we had to wait another half-hour for our carry-on to come out. And not even so much as an apology or acknowledgement of the delay by them. Absolutely terrible service, and the condition of the aircraft is quite run down.
Fordele: Comfortable seats
Ulemper: Left late and they broke a wheel off our luggage. Upon first look from one of their agents, they said Peruvian Air isn’t responsible for “minor” damage. We were able to submit a claim and are waiting to hear from them in “24 hours”.
Fordele: My flight was pretty much on time and there wasn't any issues.
Ulemper: The flight was short so there wasn't much expectations of this short flight.
Delayed and zero info
Ulemper: Flight was delayed by hours and there was zero info given to passengers - no Peruvian airline employee in site. Planes in poor shape.
I couldn’t make the flight!
Fordele: Absolutely nothing.
Ulemper: Kayak scheduled my flights too close together, with airlines that wouldn’t handle my checked baggage. When my first flight was late, I missed my connection and had to buy a new ticket, as the airline couldn’t or wouldn’t change my itinerary. As I was in a foreign country without a phone or computer and with very limited time to fix the problem, I just had to buy a new ticket.
Excellent crew, but information before boarding could have been better
Fordele: Good service on board the flight, excellent crew, reasonably comfortable
Ulemper: I've never seen an airline have two flights from/to the exact same locations departing at the exact same time. That caused confusion for us and other passengers traveling from Cusco to Lima. Peruvian Airlines could have had better information, or better yet, could separate the flights by at least 5 minutes.
Fordele: First time flying and great service.
Ulemper: I didnt like the 30min flight delay due to traffic.
Fordele: They gave a snack box and free drinks which Latam does not.
Ulemper: Airplane smelled bad almost the whole flight. Airplane is very old with poor quality seats. Boarding was a complete disaster. Boarding agents made everyone get into 2 lines according to ticket but then it ended up being a complete free for all getting on the plane anyway which ends up delaying boarding. No one seemed to care or be in a hurry to get everyone boarded and seated even when we were almost an hour delayed. Wouldn't fly them again. Latam is mediocre but much better than Peruvian airlines.
Fordele: Timely. Leatherette seats. Not the greatest but better than comparable US airlines.
Ulemper: Like other airlines, not the cleanest, but not the dirtiest either. Food isn’t that great, especially for those who are health-conscious or on low-carb diets.

Flight delayed hours without adequate communication
Ulemper: Our 8am flight from Lima to Cusco was cancelled at ~8:45am. There was no communication prior to the cancellation, and it took another hour to be transferred to an afternoon flight (which turned out to be also delayed). Staff was incredibly unhelpful when available, but most of the time they were nowhere to be found. This left us sitting for hours in the Lima airport, watching countless Cusco flights from other airlines take off (we were told our flight was cancelled due to weather, which was clearly untrue). All in all, a truly terrible experiance.
Fordele: We arrived at the airport a couple of hours before our international flight from La Paz, Bolivia to Cuzco, Peru. The ticketing agent was very helpful and patient. The flight was a couple of hours behind schedule because the airport in La Paz was closed due to weather. She explained the situation to us and told us that they would keep us informed, which they did. The flight attendents were very helpful and kind as well. I would absolutely not hesitate to fly on this airline again.
Ulemper: Ridiculous long line

Ulemper: The flight attendants were unfriendly. The flight was delayed which is too common but still a nuisance.
Most disorganized airline
Ulemper: After being delayed for an entire day, which we waited 7 hours in the airport before learning., the flights the next day were continually delayed once again, with no announcements on the intercom, or updates on the departure screen. In fact our flight never even appeared on the departure screen until 5 hours after supposed takeoff.
Ulemper: Flight delayed, workers not helpful, service horrible

Ulemper: We had a 950 am flight in when we received our boarding passes it was for a flight that was at 650 am and was not notified that our flight had already left.

An unfortunate experience
Fordele: The food was decent
Ulemper: Flight was delayed with no notification and attendants were unwilling to provide any updates as to where the flight was and what time it could be expected to depart at. Crew was unkind and bossy, especially when it came to opening and closing windows. The airplane itself also smelled foul for the entire ride. Overall a very unenjoyable experience. I would not recommend this airline.

Fordele: The price of the flight was reasonable.
Ulemper: There was a flight cancelled prior to our flight to Cusco and there were about 30-40 angry customers who had not been rescheduled yet were causing our flight to be delayed by over an hour. They were committed to not letting the plane leave until their outgoing flight was resolved. The security at the boarding gate was insufficient for the number of angry customers.
Ulemper: We had to collect our luggage in Lima and then wait in the departure strip sitting on window sills or on the floor for almost 5 hours. No bathrooms no shops no space. There was nowhere to go and Peruvian airlines didn’t open the counter until almost 90 min prior to departure. It was terrible and terrible service and nobody to ask for help or advice. I’ll never book with this airline or this connection ever again. Shouldn’t have been advertised as a possible connection.
Ulemper: The plane was delayed more than 30 minutes. The gate wasn’t posted until very late and then we had to change the gate at the last minute. We nearly missed the flight!

Ulemper: My father died two days before our trip. They would do nothing to help with our ticket...no credit, no refund, no partial refund.
Fordele: I think the service on the plane was good
Ulemper: I had an incident were while visiting Peru one of my kids was extremely sick. With a Dr notes and everything no-one - NO one was able to assist us to change the reservation for another day. I was incredibly disappointed since in many other airlines they are very nice and try to help you. In your case I was asked to pay for all my family so I will not recommend your Merlin in the future. Delays, poor communication, lack of responsibility
Fordele: The flight attendants were nice. The ride was smooth.
Ulemper: Firstly, this is the second time I've flown w this airline, and for the second time in delayed, it cost me extra money and the overall experience was a headache. My flight was scheduled to leave at 9:30 a and did not leave until 2:30-3p. This delay was caused because they needed 24 ppl to volunteer to get off the plane because it was too heavy. After that, We were on the taxi ground in the airplane for 3 hours. When we finally took off, they told us they didn't have enough gas to make the 1 hour flight from Cuzco to Lima so we had to stop at another airport then go to our destination. We finally landed at 5:45p. To top it off they ran out of water on the flight and the air conditioner was off until the flight took off around 3p. It felt like we were slow baking.
