Ulemper: There is a Covid-19 outbreak and this airline refused to change my flight. They are a disgrace.

Ulemper: Flight oversold, travelers bumped. Flight delayed while they kicked people off the flight.
Fordele: Cheap fares but may not be worth it

Was told I might be bumped because mine was the lowest fare type.
Wouldn’t fly Porter again if that is how they run their airline.
Fordele: Great value. Free beverages including a small selection of beer, wine and whiskey. Otherwise no frills, no with, no entertainment. Short haul flights, no problem. Best bargain airline
Ulemper: There is a fee to change your assigned seat US$10-20(?), regardless of whether it's a "better" seat. Fortunately, this trip our seats (family of three) were near where we wanted to be. But, it would have been disappointing to have to pay for each seat change for each leg, each way.
Fordele: The crew is always friendly at Porter. The free wine is awesome.

Ulemper: I was ripped of by baggage check!! They sold my a basic fare, which is 20 less than standard, but never told me I had to check my back which cost 40! Ended up costing me more!! I was furious

Ulemper: Porter declined re-booking the flight due to weather conditions and forced us to purchase new tickets. Reservations made through anything other than Porter are treated poorly, service can be declined due to overbooking.

Fordele: Efficient check in. Liked the shuttle bus service from subway to airport.
Ulemper: As expected this is a commuter flight so very stripped down in terms of amenities. Tight plane seating and those overhead bins just barely accommodate the carry on.
Ulemper: Needs to be more clear that you have to pay to bring bag on.
Ulemper: Honestly, even if the aircraft was delayed, there is nothing one can do and just be patient. Lunch and dinner vouchers were issued, that was well appreciated!

Fordele: Crew was amazing with my baby. Overall a very good flight.
Ulemper: We were delayed leaving Quebec for the aircraft weight being to heavy and Porter had oversold the flight. They had to burn fuel from the plane while on the tarmac For awhile to make the weight restrictions. The flight was nearly 90 minutes late taking off, Once in the air the flight was nice.

Ulemper: The people at the ytz airport missed our boarding call and then had to tell us in person to board and our flight was late.

Ulemper: That don’t let you go standby on an earlier flight with a “basic” fare, even when there are empty seats. Not clear when you purchase through Kayak.

Ulemper: The deboarding. I don't understand how the plane became inoperable only after we were backing out of the gate. Nothing done to compensate for the inconvenience.

Ulemper: Assertive gate agent in Toronto insisted I check my carry-on even though it was within regs and there was lots of overhead space (I was 2nd on the plane) but he insisted saying it would be waiting for me as I debarked (not true-came down carousel with checked bags)

Fordele: Great folks by the check in that helped me with emptying my water bottle getting my checked bag through and through security , y’all guy with light blonde hair in a man bun was exceptional in helping me make my flight

Ulemper: Horrible customer service. One plane was not fit to fly so delayed 30 minutes to get another ready, then after flying 30 minutes, had to return to airport because the plane had mechanical issues. Then after an hour being held without bathrooms at gate outside lounge, we flew and landed 4 hours late.
