Ulemper: First time I flew with this airline. I loved it. Blankets, pillows, decent food, and nice people

Two Hours Late and No Information
Fordele: I didn't die.
Ulemper: The flight was two hours late. There were no announcements. The only indication of this was when the pilot spoke to us and told us he was sorry the flight was delayed.
Fordele: Clean airplane
Ulemper: No additional care was given for traveling with children . Specifically had my car seat for my child for the connecting flight checked ar the airplane entrance and was told once I got off it would be inside. Then got a run around nobody knew where it would be . It ended up not being available for our use till our checked luggage in Boston ! Very disappointed

SATA-Azores Airline--Is not Dependable
Ulemper: We spent 65 hours in airports in the Azores trying to get back to the U.S. Flights were cancelled for no reason and others were delayed so long, connections were missed. Airline reps said a bus would take us to lodging for one of the nights, but a bus never showed up (in fact we found out later a bus never existed for this hotel) -- 4 a.m. and waiting in the rain in Boston. We ended up paying for a taxi to this distant hotel ourselves. We learned we could not trust anything the airline reps told us, even though they thought they were saying the truth. If you go to the Azores, leave an extra 4-5 days to get home, particularly if you are not on Sao Miguel. Almost lost my job over this trip because of this airlines. No apology or explanation for flight delays, etc., was ever offered.

Good experience...once we got going

Quick loading/unloading - good legroom
Fordele: SATA uses both front & rear doors and open seating.
Ulemper: No food or drinks.
Excellent experience.
Fordele: On time departure. On time arrival. Lots of leg room. What you would expect from a traditional airline. Bonus: great views from the pane.

A bad company policy
Fordele: The flight itself was smooth
Ulemper: Our bag ( and others) were left behind as a company policy appatently. We waited for it and had to file a complaint and then it arrived with the next flight 6 h later. So we waisted time, energy and frustration. Could just book less people on the flight??
Decent way to get to a great place.
Fordele: Flight from Boston to Ponta Delgada featured remarkable service and surprisingly tolerable food.
Ulemper: The plane was old and in a state of some disrepair. We were in the exit row and immediately noticed plastic chipped off of the exit door and broken case covering the emergency release handle. Not reassuring, but we got there in one piece.
Fordele: Cheap ticket between Toronto and PDL, didn't encounter any problems with crew
Ulemper: No usb charging ports on 5+ hour flight (Toronto to ponta delgada), not much leg room / chair reclining room, arbitrary pricing for flights within the Azores
Fordele: Our flight from Lisbon to Ponta Delagada was 3 hours late.

To Timer Forsinket Og Ingen Information
Fordele: Jeg døde ikke.
Ulemper: Flyet var to timer forsinket. Der var ingen meddelelser. Det eneste tegn på dette var, da piloten talte til os og fortalte os, at han var ked af, at flyet blev forsinket.
Fordele: Rengør flyvemaskinen
Ulemper: Der blev ikke givet ekstra omhu ved rejser med børn . Havde specifikt mit bilsæde til mit barn til tilslutningsflyet kontrolleret, og fik at vide, at når jeg kom af, ville det være indenfor. Så fik en løb rundt ingen vidste, hvor det ville være . Det endte med ikke at være til rådighed for vores brug, før vores indcheckede bagage i Boston! Meget skuffet

En dårlig virksomhedspolitik
Fordele: Selve flyrejsen var jævn
Ulemper: Vores taske (og andre) blev efterladt som en virksomhedspolitik med stor opmærksomhed. Vi ventede på det og var nødt til at indgive en klage, og så ankom det med næste fly 6 timer senere. Så vi gav afkald på tid, energi og frustration. Kan du bare reservere færre personer på flyet??
Udmærket måde at komme til et fantastisk sted.
Fordele: Fly fra Boston til Ponta Delgada bød på bemærkelsesværdig service og overraskende tålelig mad.
Ulemper: Flyet var gammelt og i en tilstand af en vis mangel på reparation. Vi var i nødudgangen og lagde straks mærke til, at plastik blev skåret af udgangsdøren og var i stykker og dækkede nødudløserhåndtaget. Ikke betryggende, men vi nåede frem i ét stykke.
Fordele: Billig billet mellem Toronto og PDL, stødte ikke på problemer med besætningen
Ulemper: Ingen usb-opladningsporte på 5+ timers flyvetur (Toronto til ponta delgada), ikke meget benplads/stol, der kan lænes tilbage, vilkårlig pris for flyvninger på Azorerne
Fordele: Vores fly fra Lissabon til Ponta Delagada var 3 timer forsinket.
