Ulemper: The airline lost my luggage from the plane to the ramp. Then the response was that they did not what happende to the bag.

Flight was delayed 5 hours with no real explanation

Ulemper: They cancelled my trip and asigned me another flight three days later without any credit or some reward! They did nothing!!!!
Ulemper: I tried to cancel this flight several months ago after the hurricane wiped out our rental house and you guys would not allow it. So I did not take this flight and will not book through you guys again.

Terrible Hurricane Policy
Ulemper: Due to the hurricane, we were unable to travel. Seaborne wouldn't even give us a credit, we would have to pay a transfer fee to even move the flight to a later date.
Flight canceled and terrible follow up service
Ulemper: Had to stay overnight - still fighting for reimbursement for flight. Probably screwed on the hotel bill as I did not want to go to the low end hotel they were going to put us up at.

Fordele: i DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW WE WERE ABLE TO LEAVE 20 MIN EARLY AND THUS LAND 20 MIN EARLY. I UNDERSTAND THAT SEABORNE WANTS TO HAVE EVERYONE READY TO BOARD EARLY BUT WHAT ABOUT THE PASSENGER WHO IS JUST ON TIME.
Ulemper: Extremely hot unable to hear flight crew speaking through speaker. Had to sit on plane and wait for aircraft next to us to leave over 15 mins
Poor front desk service
Fordele: Seaborne is usually a pretty decent airline, haven't had any significant problems before this.
Ulemper: I guess it was my fault for not double checking but according to the booking site my bike charge was $60. This seamed reasonable as most major us airlines charge around $100 and Winair charged $20 on the way there. Turns out it's $200 which is more than I paid for the actual ticket. Very unfortunate as I would have never booked with them in the first place had I known the real charge. For anyone traveling with sporting equipment I do not recommend Seaborne at all. Lady at checkin was pretty poor service as well. Learned my lesson and will stick with winair!
Boarding Group Uncommunicative
Fordele: The flight was easy and quick.
Ulemper: The gate agents were uncommunicative. We were nearly 45 minutes late boarding and nothing was said. The flight showed a "boarding" status for half an hour before anything was said to us. I can handle late departing flights, but I don't like when no communication is provided explaining the issue.

Gate Staff is helpful they should find a job with
Fordele: The gate staff did what they could to help stranded passengers. I have nothing but empathy for them
Ulemper: My daughter and I were on 2 different airlines I was stranded in St Thomas and she was alone in San Jaun. There isn't enough room to write all that happened on my last two trips on this airline so I will leave it at "there is no way I will book a ticket with Seaborne again!" Their schedule the post is pure fiction and they cannot be trusted if you have plans or connections.

Ulemper: I Will NEVER travel with Seabourne again as they charged me $200 each way for taking one surfboard with me to Tortola... ended up paying $678 for the flight, iamaProfessional Surfer and needed my boards for my stay there...I will warn all of my friends Never to travel on Seaborne as the other airlines flying from San Juan to Tortola do not charge for surfboards... After paying for the boards the lady in the counter told me she could not guarantee the surfboards were going to fit in the plane either.... I hope Seaborne reads this and takes note... Thank You
Seaborne did not fly and did not help make alterna
Ulemper: Our 10 AM flight never took off due to mechanical problems. Some passengers were notified the day before, others, including me, were not. The next available flight on Seaborne might occur 2 days later. The airport agent said she had no internet connection with Seaborne headquarters in Puerto Rico, so could not help with scheduling or paying for an alternate flight or reimbursing us for the canceled flight. Dealing with other airlines by phone and a hotel by internet (our connection in the airport was fine), we bought tickets for flights on other airlines and reserved a hotel. We flew out on Winair at 8 PM.

Fordele: On time, no unnecessary hassle with carry-on bags, spacious Saab plane compared to some on this route.
Ulemper: Boarding gate was a the back of beyond, a long walk with bags. No facilities in that area, yet the airport was virtually deserted, so a "better" gate area appeared to be an option.

Ulemper: The A/C is mediocre.
Ulemper: When we got to the airport in Santo Domingo we were told the flight had been cancelled, no explanations were given. We were just taken to a hotel and told we would be picked up the next day for a flight at 1pm. Many of us worked the next day, myself included. Some people took an earlier flight on another airline, but had to pay for that airline ticket. in my case, if I don't come in to work, I dont get paid, so I lost $1000 for not coming in to work on monday thanks to the inefficiency of Seaborne Aurlines. What really made matters worse was the fact that nobody was there to give us any explanations as to why the flight was cancelled and no compensations were given.

Caribbean Easy ...
Fordele: Effortless, good service and flight; Pilot tried to make it as smooth a flight as possible, even despite bad weather in the area. General ease of boarding; minimal and simple, which is enough for such a short flight.
Fordele: Things moved along in an efficient way.
Cancelled last minute with no assistance from staf
Ulemper: This flight that didn't happen was one of the worst experiences ever. Seaborne cancel the flight due to weather and then the two staff members present at the airport did little to nothing to ease the fears or answer the questions of people who's flight had been canceled. They did nothing to rebook us and told us there would be no flight rescheduled and literally left us stranded in Saint Maarten and all on our own to try to find a very expensive alternative way out of the country. My sister and I had to buy a same day expensive ticket on JetBlue which thankfully was going to the same destination as a canceled flight. Everyone else that was on the plane missed all of their connections with no solutions offered. I have yet to see a refund from this flight either. The most frustrating part was the complete lack of concern for their customers and even over rudeness of the employees we dealt with
Ulemper: We got off the ship early, rushed to the airport only to find out that our flight was canceled with no explaination and we could not get another flight out for 7 hours

Fordele: Malisa, who works for seaborne, in BIS, was very knowledgeable and helpful when we were entering and exiting the island. She worked diligently as a couple of her coworkers appeared rather unconcerned. She went above and beyond.
Ulemper: 2 hour delay
Late for the flight
Ulemper: I was late to my flight because the TSA at San Juan Airport was extremely slow. to my surprise Seaborne charged a $75 rescheduling fee. BE Aware!! I understand this was not there fault and should be more directed to the TSA and i did send them a complaint. there were 4 of us in the same situation and we were 5 minutes late for the flight. There were empty seats on the later flight so it was not like we were taking up sold seats on the next flight. a little courtesy will go a long way unhappy flyer and will not fly with Seaborne in the future

Worst airline in the world. Do not travel!
Ulemper: I was told not to fly seaborne airlines by a friend and decided to book anyway as i thought it cant be that bad! The flight was scheduled to depart at 3:15 and we were waiting at the gate until 3:40 with no word about a delay or estimated boarding time from any staff. Eventually a very rude lady came down and said the plane was on its way and would be here in 15mins. This turned out to be a lie as a staff member of another company told us that the plane was just boarding at puerto rico and would be another 45mins - which turned out to be true. This service was unbelievably bad- the worst i have experienced world wide. Avoid this airline.
Fordele: Was nervous about taking this airline for connection to St. Kitts but was pleasantly surprised. Staff was courteous, flight on time, well coordinated and landed on time. Definitely will consider taking again to St. Kitts.
Ulemper: Planes are Saab older model, but flight was short enough and in-flight crew was great.
Fordele: The people on the ground were courteous and unhurried. It did not seem the usual TSA headache. A very beautiful and enjoyable trip.

Ulemper: Seats are way too uncomfortable. I believe that at least water should be available for free, especially since it is known that airplanes a very dry environments. It was a night flight: Crew was chatting very loudly all the time and had the light on very bright.
