Ulemper: They sent my (and others’) baggage back to Chennai and I am leaving the country today . They held us on buses without opening the doors during corona virus crisis .

Ulemper: Flight kept getting delayed for no apparent reason. Also, the life jackets were loose under the seats and kept sliding around during take off and landing. Should be a safety violation! I would no recommend SpiceJet.

Ulemper: 1. Can you please have air fresheners? After a 2-hour flight the air felt very stale and the human smells were uncomfortable. 2. I always prefer a window seat for the view but my window glass pane was terribly deteriorated from the outside. Didn’t inspire much confidence in the aircraft. Not too significant a complaint but I’d have really appreciated if I could’ve had the view also.
Fordele: The Spicejet staff is very uncooperative . They failed to keep their promise to help change the departure date because of death in the family. They said they will help me change the ticket although I was willing to pay the penalty. Kayak should investigate this ad try to help customers

Ulemper: I purchased seat 4D. Boarded and found that there was no 4D, 4e, 4f. After some chaos they found us alternatives but no Apologies, understanding or accommodation for the inconvenience.

Security at PNY ludicrous. They tie your luggage with plastic ties. Once at the hotel
you need scissors or a knife to open it, and guess what, because of security, your sharp objects are inside the luggage! I understand that it creates jobs, but frankly I cannot see the added value of this procedure in terms of security... On the light side, there is a very formal notice listing people excluded from security procedures, including the President, [...]

Fordele: Nothing much - just value for money.
Ulemper: Seat in front of mine was broken - too leaned backwards to me. Though they notified to prepone the flight time by 15 minutes but in reality it was delayed by 20 minutes!
Fordele: No use of booking spicemax .. you are treated just like another passenger. No priority on anything.
Fordele: The flight was short.
Ulemper: The legroom was amusing at best. Had an exit row seat that wasn’t as wide as even a normal economy seat. It was a cheap and short flight, but I won’t choose to fly this airline ever again.

Ulemper: The check-in staff at the counter give the first impression, and my impression was that they were stressed. Perhaps they need more support. The cabin crew was very pleasant and professional. The aircraft was clean. We arrived in Delhi without complications. The luggage was quickly delivered. Will fly with them again.

Fordele: The only thing I like was the friendliness of the crew.
Ulemper: Starting at check in it was an absolute hassle and I cured many unforeseen costs. I was not able to book my golf clubs as travel equipment beforehand and was charged an exorbitant amount at the airport. I also had to pay for my carry on bag which was also unknown. And the plane was old.
Fordele: The crew was professional. It was an ATR - which are not known for their comfort.
Fordele: Seats and the airplane, in general, was very dirty. Some of seat parts were falling and my back rest wouldn't rest straight, it can only be in the reclined position.
Ulemper: A clean airplane would go a long way.
Ulemper: Rude unresponsive and uncaring. I will never fly SpiceJet again.

Ulemper: Flight crew was almost rude. No communication from the flight deck to the passengers
Ulemper: Flight was canceled and I was given no notice. I was not offered another flight till almost a week later, was forced to buy a more expensive flight and will not be reimbursed the difference.

Ulemper: I was denied boarding the plane with my voucher/eticket. The gate agent said that I had to produce a MasterCard ending in 6794 to board the flight. I do not own a MasterCard
Fordele: Only Allows just 15kg check-in bag will not work if traveling internationally as then the charge huge fees if over 15kg. My bag was 24kg and cost me an additional 3000 rupees. I have not given the option to check in online .
Ulemper: Reclining seats not working
Fordele: It was an instrument of torture with so little leg room, I thought it was a joke at first. This, like other scummy budget airlines ram as many rows of seats in as possible, to make more more money. Pure greed scumbags; another airline on the no fly list for me.
Ulemper: STOP RAMMING THE AIRCRAFT WITH AS MANY ROWS AS POSSIBLE. It’s torture for anyone without midget legs. DO NOT fly with SpiceJet if you have the nerve to have been born tall. It should be illegal

Ulemper: There was an hour delay which the ground staff nor the airlines bothered to inform the passengers

Ulemper: The flight was already delayed by 2 hours than its scheduled time despite that there was an additional delay of 60 mins and the reasons provided by the ground staff were absurd, none of the Cabin crew members are courteous, they seem to be frowning or in a mourning as if lost some one

Ulemper: When you order ticket through flightnetwork.com, apparently you pay to them, but they pay to the airline. In India, some airlines like Spicejet asks you if you actually carry the credit card by which it was paired to the airline. If not, the airline will make you pay the entire fare again. The flightnetwork gets refunded, and you will be paying for it twice!! Watch out!

Fordele: Upgraded to Spice max. So front row seats, priority check in, fast track luggage and preboked meals.
Ulemper: They only had 2 options for meals on board. And both were bad. With 20 options in their menu, they had kept only 2 options and both were bad. Those too were only snack items.

Ulemper: Check-In in Bangalore was a long tedious process. Boarding process was alright. Onboard service was at par with indigo and go-air. Luggage came out late at Pune airport. This experience was good enough to never fly spice jet again.

Ulemper: I had priority check-in with my ticket only to be told there is no priority check-in desk available
Fordele: Comfort, cleanliness ,check in.
Ulemper: I was refused food as the stewardess did not have change for ₹500:- & cost of food was ₹200/- odd. Being diabetic I had to go without my insulin.. Luggage arrived quite late in Kolkata.

Ulemper: Poor service by the airline desk staff. They have no consideration for international passengers on baggage weight.
Ulemper: The gave us hard time :( first they were not issuing us the boarding passes.

Ulemper: Long story. Have international flight with 2 pieces of 23 kgs luggage from Bangalore from Hyderabad. But at Hyderabad this guy who is not quailed to print boarding passes made me to check in my carry in bag because they won’t allow a laptop bag and charged me 6,000 rupees. Ridiculous. Their website misleads. They just rip you off. Worst airlines and shameful for airline industry. If Indian government don’t regulate these scams, will loose lot of tourist
