Boarding was disorganized
Ulemper: Edible food and some free entertainment.
Fordele: that there was free (included) hot food and water (not the case in all low cost companies). that flights were on time
Ulemper: space: seats are really tight
Ulemper: Seat was horribly uncomfortable, no personal entertainment, no free drinks except water and coffee

Fordele: Not worth it the cheap price once you add one luggage fees and count the inconvenience of delays. Could be okay in low season, but to be avoided in high season.

Ulemper: I can not find cheaper connection flight from Turkey to Paris I bought another ticket from Ankara to San Francisco. Price was effort able but service was not that great.
Fordele: Crew was very nice.
Ulemper: No Wi-Fi except for local onboard Wi-Fi with which you could watch maybe 10 different tv shows or movies for free. No entertainment system except for what you can use your phone for but also no place to charge your phone. Cramped space. No overhead fan
Ulemper: Seat didn’t recline, no entertainment, not enough elbow room, delayed flight, too bright to sleep with tv light
Fordele: The crew was happy, friendly and helpful.
Ulemper: We were nickle and dimed on baggage and weight. I suppose all airlines are doing the same, but it becomes expensive rather quickly. The entertainment system on the plane was a throwback to the 1970's, but we had been warned.

Ulemper: Everything, they lost my luggage, food is awful, crew is abnormally obnoxious, will never fly xl again

Ulemper: Internet was out. No inflight movies. Food was the worst airline food I have ever had, and that’s a low bar. How hard is it to cook pasta correctly?? Very apparently.
Ulemper: The temperature was unacceptably cold and no blankets were provided since the crew said it was a day flight. Eleven hours of freezing on the plane!
Fordele: The flight was on time both ways - the crew were great.
Ulemper: Like all flights these days - it’s full, cramped, and at one time quite stuffy.
Ulemper: The entertainment system went down. Boarding was a bit confusing.
Fordele: Nothing about XL was likable.

Ulemper: We paid less for our flight to Paris on a different airlines and had more legroom, unlimited free movies, free wine, blankets and pillows. I will not travel on XL again
Ulemper: The airline was a last-minute booking so I had no choice. I had been avoiding this airline due to inline reviews but I was pleasantly surprised - service and crew were excellent and so attentive. Everything was clean and I was surprised to get a meal too! I will definitely consider flying XL again!
Fordele: On a 10 hour flight they have no tv. They want you to use your phone or tablet to get access to their entertainment but didn’t think that on a 10 hour flight you need to charge your phone . No charging station under the seat. Horrible experience
Ulemper: Install tv sets. It’s a long flight to talk to yourself

Ulemper: 1. The food; charging for every drink except water??; it felt like flying on Ryanair (not a compliment); the planes are too small for transatlantic trip; no screens for entertainment? Overall, one of the worst flights that I've taken from CDG to the US (I've done perhaps 50 - 60 flights already).
Fordele: The crew was fine I just thought they would have gone around before breakfast to see if anyone wanted a drink of water. I was glad they gave us a blanket.

Ulemper: I had an isle seat, the outside arm rest would not lift up so it was difficult to get up to use restroom. The recline didn't work so I had no sleep. When I retrieved my luggage one wheel was broken. It would be nice if more interaction from pilot to passengers. Speak louder so we can hear.
Ulemper: No wifi
Fordele: Asik had enough leg room for me and reclined comfortably.
Ulemper: My wife needed special assistance and the man at the gate told us he would come and get us and never did after I asked him three times for his help
Fordele: Price is good, crew is very nice.
Ulemper: There is only wireless entertainment, which is OK but without in seat power, battery gone in a few hours on my phone... Need in seat power for long flights.
Checkin in LA was very bad: long long line, plane delayed by an hour.
Seat comfort is bad: no head rest with folding sides to support head

Ulemper: Boarding process was insanity with zero structure or order, resulting in 1.5hr delayed departure causing me to miss connecting flight at CDG & thus important work events in my final destination tonight.
Fordele: At least the crew was nice.
Ulemper: Not being delayed 3 hours and missing my connecting flight would have been better. having a screen with entertainment would have been better than having to download (can't) the XL app that says it is about to be expire on their website so not being prepared due to misinformation. Just poor. Sad.

Ulemper: Online check-in didn't work so waited in line for a hour, then the flight was delayed and I missed a connecting flight to Prague. Terrible airline.

Ulemper: Need power outlet since u expect us to use our devices for entertainment

Ulemper: Seats are super tiny. No leg room. Very uncomfortable 7 hour flight. No food.
Ulemper: Charged $80 USD because my carry-on was just over 10 kgs. An annoying fee, and a chaotic experience while they detained me and a dozen other people at the gate and shook us down for $$.
Zero flight entertainment.

Plane seems old model:
- has no individual fans, was too hot in a cabin. Seems AC was not working at all or barely noticeable.
- no WiFi with access to WWW, only to plane intranet with few free movie choices.

Ulemper: Did not understand much of what the announcements were even when they were in English. Food was so so. Bread rolls could have been served a little warm not ice cold and hard as a rock.

Ulemper: Boarding disorganization, very slow. Left late.
Flying with XL
Ulemper: Seats too close to each other compared to other airlines and felt that the seats are smaller too. I weigh ard 132# and felt tight in the seat.
Ulemper: the worst and arrogant airlines counter staff I met. they don t try to help instead act bossy....they should be trained to respect the customers and bear in mind that we are providing them ....a job
XL IS EXTRA SMALL!
Ulemper: I would not recommend this airline for transcontinental travel to anyone
who has a body. Just for reference: I am 5'10 and wear women's size M. No legroom to speak of, the whole flight to/from Paris I felt like I was kneeling on a cement floor.
There was breakfast provided on the flight to Paris, but coming back you had to pay for dinner.
On a positive note, one piece of check-in luggage was included in the price of a ticket, But this is not enough to entice me to ever use this Xtra Lilliputian airline.

Fordele: Everything. I have no complaints. I was able to book this flight last minute (2 hrs before) due to my previous reservation being cancelled bc the airline went out of business......truly a lifesaver. The staff were excellent.
