Car needed a service about 3,000 miles into the rental, and because no facilities were available closer, I had to drive another 500 miles before I came to a suitable service location. Once the service was booked, the process took only a few hours and all was good afterwards.Anmeldt d. 31. maj 2024

Airport pickup took an HOUR. Every other rental company had minimal to no lines but the thrifty/dollar rental desk had a super long, slow line. We were late to our event because of it. If I were doing again I would pay a little more to rent from another company at the Salt Lake airport. Once we actually got the car everything was fine.Anmeldt d. 3. okt. 2023

It seemed that returning the car earlier ( due to fire and lots of smoke in the north west of the USA) was rather complicated. Also the person who arranged it in Salt Lake City calculated the insurance twice ! Bit disappointingAnmeldt d. 11. sep. 2023

We had a Hyundai Ionic. A hybrid. The range was 600 miles per tank! With gas prices high, it was a great car to have. Pickup in Salt Lake was easy. Drop off in Vegas was easy. Comfortable, and handled the mountains just fine.Anmeldt d. 10. jul. 2022

Thrifty was very efficient with drop off. Unfortunately, if they would let us review insurance options prior to pickup or with online reservation, the process would be faster. And really...$50-60 a day for insurance?? Insurance would have been more than the entire rental. I would have liked to verify with my own car insurance, prior to or at online reservation, since each state is different for coverage.
