Amazing very good

Overbooked flight of airBaltic, tow hours of delay

24 hour delay due to a crew member arriving 1.5 h late. People clapped for this? Obscene. Will never fly delta again. A simple error could have been resolved by holding connecting flights for 15 minutes. But no, not enough passengers to cross the 8-10 person threshold. Lost $800 due to this malfeasance. Never flying delta again.

Overall a pleasant flight.

Both airports totally understaffed. Awful experience.

Ulemper: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Ulemper: "Our total flight time was about 17 hours - MAD- AMS-LAX. My husband and I both have an internationally approved carry on luggages with us. When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

Ulemper: "the connection flights was the worse! The gate was changed in Amsterdam 3 times! From D82 to C6 and then to C11. The distance between B82 and C was 20-30 minutes walk. No rushing was needed though, the flight was delayed for 1:30h and after we all boarded a further delay was announced. I will never fly with KLM."
Ulemper: "The 767 is configured oddly and th business class seats are so narrow it feel like you are sleeping in a coffin"

My flight out from SFO was cancelled. No one contacted me with the result I had to spend 3h extra waiting for the next flight. On the return I had booked for a 10:45 am departure. My itinerary said BOTH 10:45 and 07:20. I finally got an agent who said the flight was for 07:20. The movies did not work in my seat. I changed to another seat where the sound only came out from the right speaker. Pretty poor when you spend the money to fly business.

Very old entertainment system. Grainy blurry screens. No charging of devices via usb. The control was fixed to armrest and was accidentally pressed al the time while resting and arm on the armrest. Ulemper: "We had a 2 hour delay on our flight from Heathrow to LAX. That being said it was during the most severe cold front to hit North America and counterparts flying with connections in some of the hardest hit town had delays of 24 hours or more."

It was delayed 45 minutes though, after we boarded, supposedly for congestion at the destination. Ended up doubling the time spent in the plane..."

I had to get my boarding passes through American Airlines and then flew through British Airways. It would have been very frustrating/difficult to a new traveler. The flights themselves were very good, they were accommodating and was able to move my seat for me in JFK, the flight with British Airways was good."

Ulemper: "The arrival, planning and hosting at Heathrow was probably worst I have experienced in 30 years. We had a tight connection, no attempt was made by anyone to prioritize those with less than 45 minute connections. We had one immigration officer for 2 lanes including the fast lane, what is the point of it. After immigration the automatic system did not let us in the boarding area. We were redirected by staff to leave the secure area without any clear explanation of what to do next. When we arrive in the ticketing area, we, several of us, went to try to go through security. That is when we were told we missed the connection. Then we were told to go to B1, after waiting in line we were told to go to zone E for reticketing. At which point I went in standby, only passenger from the group following to Edinburgh, did not make the 2nd flight either. Waited 6 hours at Heathrow..,"

I am 5'11"and weigh 135. I was uncomfortable in my seat. My husband was uncomfortable in his seat. This made a 9 hour flight rough. The crew, food and entertainment were great, but the seating made me think twice about flying to Europe on British Airlines in the future."

No one could dicipher his message. NO emtertainment without extra cost... on 4 1/2 hour flight!! Shame on you United! BOOO. Hardly anyone paid for entertainment. Very boring and hard flight. Will give another airline my $500 next time. Everyone who buys a cross-country ticket should get free entertainment. NO food except one cookie on 4 1/2 hour flight. Are you kidding?? I was starving! A small snack-meal was expected for the high cost we pay for ticket. BOO UNITED. UNTIL UNITED PUTS CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COMFORT FIRST... I and my family will be flying another airline. Very very disappointed."

Ulemper: "I didn’t like being told I couldn’t use the restroom in front because it was for 1st class only. I was in a wheelchair and dealing with spine issues which made it very difficult to walk at all. Then on my flight home from GR the flight ended up being 3 hrs late. I was in terrible pain."

Ulemper: "LAX makes you think you are in a 3rd world country. Its dirty - poorly laid out and no amenities. I had to walk 2 miles and go through 2 TSA points to transfer from the international arrival terminal to terminal 8 for my final connection. Comparing LAX to the Frankurt Germany airport is like night and day. Finally get to my gate - and I have to watch a pop up ad to get 45 min of complimentary wifi."

The flight attendant neglected to look my way when picking up discarded trash, (I raised it up when she passed me - she was looking the other way and raced up the aisle), so I sat with my trash during the final 30 minutes of flight (and additional 20-25 minutes waiting for gate)"

Ulemper: "seats on EMB175 are just not meant for flights longer than an hour. Absolutely no low back support on a firm seat flat as a 2x4 makes for a miserable experience, particularly after a previous intercontinental flight."
Fordele: "They were always very attentive to let you know about gate changes or seat changes. Which to me personally is very important. I have had very bad experiences with other airlines in the past because they did not communicate properly their gate change and I missed my flight and missed events I was flying for. Excellent job to United for communicating gate changes very well! They did not break any of my luggage and the seats were fairly comfortable. The employees were also very attentive and willing to answer any questions."
Ulemper: "It was a bit confusing gate wise. I did have to ask an employee what was going on but they cleared up the confusion pretty quick. I flew on a jet verses a regular plane, and it was very loud. I had my movie turned up all the way with headphones and I still could barely hear it. It wasn't the fact that I couldn't hear my movie but in general it just hurt my ears. I was sitting towards the back of the jet though so I'm assuming if I was closer to the front it wouldn't have been as bad? Overall it was still a great experience"

We finally landed in SLC 8 hours later than we were supposed to only to be told that they had left out luggage in Chicago. It is now a week later and I still don't have my luggage! This has been the worst travel experience I have ever had!"
Ulemper: "She missed this flight due to her first flight from Little Rock getting cancelled."
Ulemper: "Could not make seat assignments for second leg of trip on line , had to wait until boarding agents to a rive 45 minutes before flight. Did not get assigned seats until most passengers were seated. They did get us is eats but not together !"
Fordele: "Dejligt overskud hos personalet der gjorde en amerikansk indsats for at gøre opholdet perfekt under flyveturen"
Ulemper: "Irriterende når beskeder og underholdningssystem ikke har samme lydstyrke... beskeder blev givet med en lydstyrke så høj at det gjorde ondt i ørerne, når man sad med hovedtelefoner på. Ikke videre behageligt."
Fordele: "Boarding was quick once it happened"
Ulemper: "Both of my united flights were delayed due to crew issues, one they were stuck in traffic, we'll they should leave early like we do. The next they were late for some clearance issues. The seats on this air craft were very thin and uncomfortable, you could feel the metal."
Ulemper: "We paid for first class seats from Houston to Salt Lake City, thinking it would be provide us more than a regular seat. It did not. We received one drink and were allowed to pick from a basket of snacks (packaged pretzels and cookies), but that was it. No additional food, no entertainment options on our plane, no blanket, no pillows, no hot towels. We basically paid all that extra money for a little bigger seat. It was not worth it. This was our first time flying with United in a while and it will definitely be our last."
