They would not honor the type of car that I reserved. I reserved a compact SUV, I had the reservation confirmation printed out, I even prepaid; they would not honor it. They said I could only get a subcompact economy electric car because I reserved through a third party. They would not honor my reservation as a compact SUV without "upgrading". Very disappointing, I have had issues with the PIE location in the past. I think in the future I will avoid Budget/Avis when booking for that location.Anmeldt d. 23. jan. 2026

Budget sucks. They advertise one price then you get slammed with a “we’ll reconcile the rest of this math later” price at the end and it is far more expensive than you initially planned on. Waited over 30 minutes for transportation from the airport to the rental office before we decided to take an Uber! Long lines, long wait times, unhelpful agent, poor communication, dirty car (even after a quick rinse they call a car wash), no up-to-date charging port in the vehicle…. The experience was poor, I did the check in online to pick up the car at 8:30 am and I arrived around 8:45 to pick up the car and the front desk lady told me they don’t have the car ready and I need to wait 30 minuts. I wait for almost 2 hours. Delay all my trip.Anmeldt d. 19. jan. 2026

Absolutely enjoyed the seamless pickup/ drop off experience that included warm, friendly and informative customer service. Our vehicle was incredibly clean and surprisingly fuel efficient (for a Cadillac suv). Will absolutely be looking to Budget + Kayak for our next adventure!Anmeldt d. 18. jan. 2026

The do not honor their quotes and try to charge you more for insurance. I brought my certificate of insurance form my credit card. They did not even want to look at it. They are scammers. I went somewhere else got a nice car for less.Anmeldt d. 13. jan. 2026
