Unfortunately, I experienced several issues with this car. The front tire was running very low and I had to fill it up with air every day of the trip. Second, the check engine light came on and on the last day of the trip the engine lost power while I was on the highway and had to pull over and stop the car. the pressure applied at the izmir budget counter when you rent through a third party is not good at all. I regretted my decision of renting through kayak on budget and would just walk at the counter next time to see if others have better service. I tought coming through kayak would make it easier. They would not honor the type of car that I reserved. I reserved a compact SUV, I had the reservation confirmation printed out, I even prepaid; they would not honor it. They said I could only get a subcompact economy electric car because I reserved through a third party. They would not honor my reservation as a compact SUV without "upgrading". Very disappointing, I have had issues with the PIE location in the past. I think in the future I will avoid Budget/Avis when booking for that location.Anmeldt d. 23. jan. 2026

Budget sucks. They advertise one price then you get slammed with a “we’ll reconcile the rest of this math later” price at the end and it is far more expensive than you initially planned on. Wouldn’t recommend. All the extra hidden “airport fees” and taxes is absolutely criminal.Anmeldt d. 22. jan. 2026

Waited over 30 minutes for transportation from the airport to the rental office before we decided to take an Uber! Long lines, long wait times, unhelpful agent, poor communication, dirty car (even after a quick rinse they call a car wash), no up-to-date charging port in the vehicle….
