Absolutely terrible. There was a line of about 100 people at the Budget office and maybe 15 people in line for the Avis office that shared the same space. The person at the desk was only helping the Avis customers so the Budget line never moved. People were getting fed up and yelling. I waited over an hour before deciding it wasn't worth my time and just Uber'ed around the rest of my trip.Anmeldt d. 4. mar. 2026

When we arrived to get our car all they had left were electric cars. We were never told it could be electric . We are in our mid to late 70s and don’t have a clue how to charge it. My husband spent 2 days finding a place that he was able to use then stood in the 85 degree sun to figure out how to charge it, after someone at the other charger helped him download the app ect .My advise do not rent an electric car to the elderly in Mesa .Anmeldt d. 3. mar. 2026

Reserved a mini van months in advance. When I arrived to pick up my rental I was told there was no mini vans available and was forced to take an SUV. We drove 12.5 hours crammed in a rental I did not reserve. Absolutely the worst rental experience. Will never rent here again.Anmeldt d. 3. mar. 2026

Budget and Avis (same company) rented the same car out of the same spot to two different people. I was the one that had to go all the way back to the airport terminal to get it sorted out. They got me a different car, which only had 3/4 tank of gas when I started it. All these problems were resolved by a few friendly customer service personnel, but all of this was avoidable with some conscientious workers and appropriately integrated systems.Anmeldt d. 2. mar. 2026
