I paid for quite a sum and it was definitely NOT worth it. Check-in problems I promptly made it to the hotel at 2PM for check-in and all were prepaid through Kayak. The front desk said that my reservation was not logged in their system and they had to check how they can accommodate our family. After 1.5 hours of waiting, they finally gave us a room. Small room, ridiculously small windows Baguio is known for its picturesque views and having no view of it defeats the purpose in staying at this city. To illustrate, the windows were about six inches in height and 5 feet in length. You can barely see anything! To make matters worse, the windows were positioned at the corridors with no real outdoor view. No facilities Aside from a small lounge and the restaurant (and playground), that was pretty much it. You'd be better off staying at a transient house maybe. Overpriced This room comes with no view, no air-conditioning. What more can't you ask for??
Cleanliness especially the bathroom it's very poor and exhaust fan in the bathroom is too noisy.
The competent, helpful and very friendly management and staff! Nothing.
Best Hotel in Baguio from our viewpoint! Many reasons we consider Hotel Elizabeth to be Number 1. Among these are the friendliness and competence of Hotel Elizabeth staff led by Resident Manager Anne Garcia. Anne found out that my favorite breakfast is poached eggs on toast and she had this specially prepared for me even though breakfast is buffet. All the staff (and I really mean ALL the staff) met all our needs and quickly and always with a genuine smile! The place is filled with beautiful things. The colors are relaxing. The best word I can think of is "class". It is the kind of class that money can't buy. It is the special care put into every item, plant, garden, entrance, lobby, restaurant etc. etc. etc. I am from Hawaii and we have many beautiful hotels there that I have enjoyed. However, truthfully I can honestly say, none top Hotel Elizabeth for it's all around beingness and friendliness that is honest and sincere! Needless to say we will return again and again to Hotel Elizabeth!
The place was beautiful, staff were wonderful and they have the best kaldereta ever. I would definitely go back to this place and recommend it to friends and family. None so far
Staff members exceeded our expectations, they were friendly, courteous, attentive. World class services indeed. The location was superb, very relaxing, cozy & homey feel. My husband was delighted, I was proud of myself for choosing this hotel. None at all
centrally located, helpfull personel, great breakfast drinking water in the rooms would have been nice
Courteous staff, clean rooms and surroundings. No swimming pool
We liked the place, the hotel and the location. We missed the restaurants.
Good sized family room we could fit ourselves plus 4 teenagers in. Could obtain your free breakfast up to 9 PM! We didn't have to get up early to eat if we didn't want to. Getting woken up early one morning and told to move my car because the security guy didn't have me park it correctly the night before. Very limited breakfast. No view in the family rooms.
was expecting a lot more. lobby was nice and totally deceiving, coz the rooms are awful! The room were dirty and moldy. The toilet was positioned right in front of the sink, so you had to lean over the toilet to use the sink. Mold all over the bathroom and not just the shower, but all over the bathroom. the mirror was so badly damaged, that the back was pealing off and did not reflect. This room was way over priced in addition to the room it self. The room was really absent of any design and comfort, just some old stained mattresses. This room should not go for more than 550 pesos a night and i paid some where around 2400 pesos a night to continue, i reserved the room for 5 days coz the pics made the room look so much nicer... needless to say... i left after the first night and lost the rest of the money i paid... that i think is the scam, you cannot get your money reimbursed if you leave early.
