The grounds, pool area, hallways and the rooms were very clean and well maintained. The rooms were large and the beds comfortable. There was also plenty to do within walking distance of the hotel.
Our reserved room with two queen beds was unavailable upon arrival. The other room offered had one huge bed, but the other person was on a couch made into a queen. The suite was very posh, the Presidential Suite, with two rooms and a shower ten feet square!
Close walking to shoppimg and restaurant's.
Everything was awesome, from check-in to check -out! The hotel was built in early 50's, but was updated while still maintaining the mad men classy feel. Everyone in our party loved the hotel. The views were spectacular at day and at night. Cannot express enough how wonderful this place is!
This hotel is really in need of a major rehab. The pool had scum floating in it.
The service in the hotel restaurants was horrible. But it is a clean hotel. Not really worth the price.
Service was fast and attentive, even at the restaurant and even on a sold out weekend. And they didn't nickel-and-dime us for every little thing, such as the toothbrushes we forgot and the room towels we accidentally left at the pool. Not sure why people complain about the expensive parking because there is a free self-park lot only 100 feet away with plenty of spots.
Nightly parking fee on top of room rate, excessive charge
This place was so clean! I am so picky about my rooms and pools and Hilton didn't disappoint. We traveled with kids and the pool had a lot of them during the week (not sure about weekend), and they all had such a fun time. Also, so conveniently located by all of the shops and food. Great and accommodating staff. No complaints here! Nothing ;)
Staff was great and extremely helpful. Pool was relaxing. Food was okay but breakfast was better than lunch and dinner. The bar at the pool was good, but the drinks weren't strong or worth 9$. The alcoholic beverages at the pool bar were the biggest let down.
The room was clean and the furniture was updated. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking was terrible, plus they charge a daily fee of $18 which I was not aware of. The pool area was great and it was clean but the pool itself had tons of dead bugs and the water was so dirty and cloudy which was a really a shame because it was almost 110 degrees outside!
The hotel is unique with a lot of character. One of the best hotels I've stayed at. The entire staff was amazing as well as the food. Every meal I had there did not disappoint!
Loved the literal wonderland that you enter into when inside the property.. It feels like Through the Looking Glass (complete with outdoor chess!). The pools are nice, the lemonade stand drinks are excellent, and the staff is very attentive. Kind of disappointed about the room (on the small size, and teetering on the brink of shabby and chic - but I guess if you like shabby chic, this is great!). I overheard someone complaining about cookie crumbs (not theirs!) in their sheets when they climbed into bed.. those better have been some damn good cookies (no, sorry, I'm kidding - that is just disgusting). I was also frustrated by the booking process.. Granted, I used a third party site ("not the responsibility of the Parker"), but you know what, I have two words: quality control. They do not have to let every last crummy travel site book their rooms for them (and shame on me for using said crummy travel site!). Oh and lastly, the prices are kind of ridiculous here. It doesn't matter how wealthy you are (not that I am), but I think anyone would be insulted by $36 for juice and coffee (which I overheard someone ELSE complaining about at the pool--wasn't even me!).
A perfect hotel with a wonderful room. We would recommend it to every one visiting Palm Springs.
The overall vibe of the place was great from from facility maintenance staff to the chef. N/A
pool, service $25 per day "fee" not reasonable
The atmoshpere around the pool and restaurant
We had a lovely clean and cool room and the hotel had a very calm vibe with lots of relaxed seating in and out of the shade,it aslo had a lovely pool and was in walking distance of downtown Additional daily charge($22) for leisure facilities should be included in the room rate quoted to ensure comparison with other hotels is easy
this is a very nice vintage hotel in the heart of palm springs. their compimentary upgrade to a casitas was a bonus.
sat by pool and enjoyed the quiet and elegance of the hotel. Also, walked around downtown Palm Springs and enjoyed shopping and restaurants- the Casino too! Next day took tram up mountain to San Jacinto Wilderness and did a 6 mile hike! na
A fantastic little boutique hotel of 50 rooms - really nice decor and details in the rooms - a great pool bar and restaurant - would definitely recommend this place. Nothing
Nice boutique hotel.
The peace and serenity of the mountains as you sat by the pool and cool mist decided from above....a total relaxation. I thought the maid service was spotty. My room was clean but they did not replace items such as T.P. which I think is an important item:)
Property has old school Palm Springs charm. Pools, spa and weekend morning yoga class were delightful. Bar cocktails were great. Calm, stylish vibe was exactly what we wanted. Convenient location to walk to downtown Palm Springs shops and restaurants. Rooms need to be updated - furniture was worn and tired. I'd like to see more small snack options on the Bar and Pool menus.
This is one of my favorite hotels in Palm Springs for my husband and I. The grounds are amazing and it's location to downtown is excellent. The hotel is amazing, but the beds needs to better. We moved rooms twice because our bed was squeaky and very uncomfortable. The furniture looks very nice at night, but during the day you can see all the imperfections; it's worn. I can almost put up with the worn furniture if the beds were more comfortable.
Hotel rooms are run down. This place has beautiful grounds, it's to bad the rooms are run down. Didn't have hot water almost our entire stay. Rooms need an overhaul. Hotel Price doesn't match What you get for the money.
Warm jaccuzi, pools Noise
The staff at the hotel is phenomenal! The hotel is beautiful and really allows you to feel like you are in Palm Springs. Located in a very walking friendly area near restaurants and shops and set against the backdrop of a majestic mountain this was truly a great experience. I loved being greeted with a cold glass of champagne upon arrival and check-in and it was wonderful that the amenities were included in the hotel fee (wifi, valet, etc.) We did have an ant issue in our room while we were here. When I called the front desk, they seemed as alarmed and upset as I did and I appreciated that. They sent staff right away to spray and took care of the hotel fee because due to the inconvenience.
Location and service staff is great. But you can tell the lustor of the property is fleeting with ways they could cut corners. Broken furniture in room, odd odor in room, unclean when first entered and returning customers are not acknowledged or rewarded.
I always enjoy the pools and the spa services. This hotel is centrally located so that one can walk to restaurants and shopping. The music at the pool wasn't as good as it has been in the past. I don't care for the new hotel room products (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc.); the George Neil products were better. The hotel no longer offers rafts to float on in the pool, people were bringing there own. This was a sad discovery. In addition, it looked as though the hotel had changed their menu again, although they were able to accommodate some of the our old favorites. The hotel rooms could use some freshening up as well.
Esthetically it is beautiful & peaceful ....Service is Welcoming and attentive. It is my FAVORITE place to be while in Palm Springs! I love everything here.
Loved the calm and stylish vibe. The staff was very friendly and attentive. There are 3 pools which was great! I did see a couple of kids there but I don't think its a family hotel. It has a very quiet, relaxing, chill feel. Food is very well made and delicious, I would definitely recommend and return. Beautiful place. The only thing I can say regarding the room was that there was a dead insect in there, I'm not sure if the room was not thoroughly cleaned or if it got in after but it was dead so I'm assuming it was overlooked by housekeeping. I guess it happens and I didn't make a big deal of it. I know most people love the convenience of valet parking but I would prefer if the hotel also had the option to self park. I asked and the valet attendant who told me I can self park anywhere on the street where available, that is not really an option. Its just better to have access to my car if I need to get anything from there anytime I want. I just think its a hassle to have to be going to valet if I need my car or something out of it.
The facility is poorly maintained, old and tired and in need of a gut renovation.
Pool area has dj good for young people, staff very friendly Rooms are out dated and lobby was under construction
History of hotel and accessibility of a cocktail was nice. Room was nicely decorated and clean with exception of windows. Pay full price and you will get center room to main pool. Book in advance at discounted rates and you will get the garden villas aka lawn parking lot views. External windows haven't been cleaned in probably 2 years but I think it was a lawn view, difficult to see out. Good luck finding an umbrella by the pool. You can pay $500 for private cabana or burn in the sun for free.
The one thing we enjoyed was the pool table and rental of the bikes. I didn't like the fact I had to wait four hours to change my room and the house keeper and front desk go at back n fourth about changing my room that was filled with dead ants and live ones including bugs. Smelled badly .
Nice pool area They could not get the heat to work and had no room available to move is to that had working heat. We were told the hotel would waive the $35 per day resort fee - we were then charged the fee upon check out. There should be some habitability law that requires basic deliverables from a hotel in California - if there is it is not being enforced.
location was great. staff was warm and friendly. room was clean and bed was comfortable. ac heating did not work. called front desk and was told they would send someone but that did not happen.
The staff was nice that's about it This resort was dirty and not what we expected
The staff was friendly, the pool, the music First room smelled weird, the second room had a cockroach on the wall.
price blow up penis's in the pool, while kids where present
Nice staff! Big rooms Water main broke so that was a bummer but they moved us and compensated us a little. The first room had a big tub that I was looking forward to soaking in but never got the chance and the second room unfortunately didn't have one. Also we asked for non feather bedding because of allergies but at 2am we realized they weren't so our first night was pretty miserable
Amazing weekend. Our anniversary was celebrated in style. We will definately go back. Loved it. Nothing.
buildings run down elevators smell and don't work well towels dirty bathroom with fixtures chipped two lamps without light bulbs
The grounds were absolutely beautiful and the rooms were clean and nice. The staff dropped the ball pretty much every time we asked for assistance or needed an issue resolved. The only good experience we had with staff was a server in the restaurant, the bartender at the pool and a maintenance worker by the pool. The front desk staff were extremely rude, many staff members have no idea where anything is on the property, and no one apologized for making mistakes. 4th of July is obviously a busy weekend for the hotel, but we were also there for a wedding and the staff made many mistakes in accommodating the event and basic needs of a wedding group.
Just a block away from town where you can walk, shop, eat or go to a spa. Nothing better!
It's very close to the shops, it's clean, it's reasonable and it has a/c. The free breakfast was pretty good - I know I got full on my omelet, watermelon and toast and the table next to us had about a zillion yummy looking waffles. I wouldn't honeymoon here or take an extended weeks stay and live it up but for passing through for one night for the price - it's fine. They didn't enforce the swimming after 10:30 rule as some young guys were in there after 12:30 and quite loud. Parking was kind of limited so people were parked where they shouldn't but that's not the 'parkers' fault. And agree with the one review with a nice omelet bar but no real side dishes - they couldn't have a side of potatoes or sausage in a catering pan? but wow, these are small issues - like my headline review states - It's fine.
The hotel is located very close to numerous shops and busy areas of Palm Springs. With all the lush landscaping and greenery it was very calm and quiet. We were within walking distance of just about anything. A quite pleasurable experience. Only negative comment was the morning breakfast/brunch. they served hot omlettes but lacked most other things you would find at other continental breakfasts like bagels, fruit.
I woke up with 50 bites on my legs!!! They need to exterminate in room 305!!!
Beds are awesome!!!! Breakfast could be better, but no big deal Selection wise, but I get it
The staff at Las Brisas were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious. I slept very comfortably in the cozy bed. Our inclusive breakfast was very nice with not only normal hotel breakfast but omletes and waffles as well. My only complaint was waking up very early to the people next door visiting. The wall must not be very sick because we could hear every word that was said.
Online photo doesn't match room. Room to clutter with big furniture that just take space
Good Value, not far from the action. Bathroom Toilet kept running whole stay, not conducive to good night sleep. Breakfast was mediocre.
Excellent staff and very clean rooms.
Staff was responsive to our request to switch rooms. The second room was still humid but not as bad. The room was incredibly humid and the air conditioning did not seem to help. The bathrooms were poorly kept and fixtures were old.
Quite neighbourhood Good looking lobby area but the rest of the hotel is in very poor shape (lipstick on a pig). The worst Hotel/Motel I've ever stayed in. Should be renamed to "worst western" instead -DON'T BE FOOLED by all the positive reviews, these are probably just hotel people posting fake reviews. I sure was fooled by them and landed in this filthy place. - FAT BED BUGS in room and now after getting back home (after 5+hrs drive) we are cleaning everything we carried into the room. - Toilet seat too small and space too congested for most adults to sit on - Broken toilet seat - Severe Plumbing problems, toilet rarely flushed properly in one go (was choking). Wash Basin was contantly getting choked for entire duration of trip. Someone next doors also seems to have got flooded - Broken bathroom door lock and latch, won't close and if closed won't open, part of the latch was hanging for the entire duration of trip and no one bothered to fix it - Shower knob severely jammed and needed full stength of a adult male to pull - Mattresss with deep valleys; very old and sunk in. - Tiny space for closet and Micro/Fridge, barely fit one person. - Only 3 or 4 decent towels, the rest were clothes used for wiping floors being given as towels for wiping face - Worst house keeping I've seen food and utensils that was dropped on the floor by mistake never got picked up. No vacuming (even when stayed for 4 nights) - Breakfast being served in open by the pool on chilling 35 degrees freezing mornings ! - very few parking spots, so if u get into hotel after 7.30pm prepare to walk a fair distanc to your room - Filthy enviornment, old people having sex and roaming naked in rooms with their curtains open, visible even to young children. - Probably dangerous place - On first night cops were seen multiple times on hotel premises trying to catch someone in or outside the hotel. - Rude front desk staff
Perfect little spot to call home base during our brief stay. We really liked the pool area.
Beautiful setting Air conditioner was controlled remotely! Could not adjust and it turned off at eleven in the evening not to be turned on till 8:00 AM the next morning! Spent a very hot and restless night tossing and turning. Not relaxing at all when it was over 80 degrees in the room! Will not return!
Free WiFi and breakfast, pool open late
The hotel is pet friendly, and my room was super clean and modern. Loved the wood floors. The location is set in the perfect location, easy access to all the tourist offering but still secluded enough from the hustle and bustle. The pool is small but it is clean and simple, breakfast served at the pool was also very nice. The outlets are also usb compatible, which was a nice addition. The staff was also super friendly and accommodating. The fridge was a little outdated so it was a little distracting at times, my room was right by the pool and stairway so it wasn't too private, but nothing more than standard city noise. The faucet on the sink wasn't adhered correctly so it moved when I used it and the hot water in the shower was not consistent and hard to figure out. Those were just minor cosmetics though, taking everything else into account, this is a great location, and a nice hotel, I would stay again for sure
Fuld valuta for pengene
Bed is comfortable, big pool Can hear everything in the hallways and need more attentive pool staff
location and amenities nothing
Location is downtown, near all attractions Come on man! It's Palm Springs, it's a hundred and ten in the shade and your room ACs do not work...unacceptable! Six hours to get a tech to the room to tell me the condenser is inop...is that why the room is hot? Duh.
It is confusing having customer ratings showing as you bid on hotels. I thought I was booking a 4 star hotel but hat was just the customer rating that was showing. Once I paid I realized it's a 3.5. I would have crept looking at that price. Thanks
The hotel has a luxiourious ambiance. The facility needs to provide its guests with fresh towels daily. The parking should be free to all guests.
The best kind bed I have ever slept on. What kinds of comforter do you guys use!?
Very nice Lobby area, pool area and food, room, bed. Staff were very pleasant Shortage of pool-area cleanup and horrible shortage of towels. No available loungers, but I'm guessing over half had been abandoned.
Well appointed Comfortable Clean Great pool area Very friendly, courteous and accommodating staff Not luxurious, but quite nice Parking was very lacking especially in the self-park area. We came home from a late night at the casino and there was literally no where whatsoever to park. Not in self-park or in valet park. We had to leave our car in the fire lane of the reception drive through area and leave the keys with the front desk so that they could move it if necessary. The valets moved it in the morning and we were not charged for valet parking which was thanks to the great staff.
Kids in the adult pool
Not enough self parking. Reckless driving through parking lot.
This was my first time staying at the Renaissance. What can I say besides WOW!! It was 3 blocks away from the main strip. Everything was great! Beautiful pool, lovely room. They even have a FREE shuttle that took us to a local pub and back. Will be coming back A LOT.
YOU MUST change the SMALL pillows on the bed....it makes no sense..the pillow cases on your pillows are normal size, tucked in to accomodate what esstenially are decorative pillow size.... NOT sleeping pillows....the bed itself was not to my comfort...but PLEASE CHANGE THE PILLOW SIZE AT THE VERY LEAST.
I liked the decor in the entrance. It was pretty awesome Pool was waaay too small, for a birthday we were put in a room with a bunch of noise next door of garbage trucks and construction, a little over priced.....not as good as vegas to be such a high priced facility
Clean and well designed. We really enjoyed our stay here. The only complaint is that the bathroom has glass doors. They're fogged so you can't see too much, but it's still super weird pooping with your loved ones walking by. I don't know why anyone would design a bathroom like that!
Great location to all downtown shops and restaurants. Can walk from hotel to all of the local shops. Staff are always on queue and ready to help. Rooms are nice but not very sound proof. Had to change rooms after next door family made so much noise. But staff handled it very professionally. Can also hear outside noises a little too well.
Pool party Small resturant and less staff for holiday
They were each amazing but altogether made it an amazing stay, can't wait to return! The hear
Music from the club until late at night prevented us from sleeping. The valet parking attendant smelled of alcohol, so we parked on the street. Accidentally moved M&M's from their perch, was charged.
The room was spacious and the staff was beyond amazing Room was old, dried up gum in the carpet and just didn't give me what I expected to receive for my money
The staff was great, friendly and sweet I have stayed here before a couple times. I feel that the rooms have seen better days, it was dingy and I didn't care for the way it was kept up. mildly disappointed.
location, bar area with live music Valet stood and talked to each other for five minutes before coming to take our car, only one front desk agent with a line of 10 people, rooms weren't clean, listed as a mountain view and our view from the balcony was two big trees and a run down business in the back. Hallways smelt like marijuana.
The valet staff was AMAZING!! They were friendly, fast, and provided us with advice on where to go. They were down to earth, joked around with us, and did not hesitate to carry out luggage to and from the room. Always greeted with a smile. Also, the man at the front desk Gabe was awesome. I felt welcome when checking in, and when my awesome bachelorette picked up every single item in and on the mini bar, Gabe fixed the charges without hesitation. All staff was awesome!! I'm not much of a valet girl, I'd rather self park so I didn't like that it's all valet. But like I said, the valet guys were awesome. I also didn't like that for my future sis in laws bachelorette party I couldn't bring in an ice chest or more than 12 beers. Those rules made me feel like maybe next time we'll suck it up, endure the prices and the crowd we don't want to be around and head to Vegas.
Loved the ambiance of the hotel and the room itself with balcony overlooking the pool. Very pretty setting. It was off the beaten path for traffic, parking and noise, but through one parking lot and a pass-through of a building to N Palm Canyon Drive and all the action! The room had a great fridge with a freezer and a microwave! 2 free waters each day. Maid service was late morning (perfect). We were on third floor, but next time I'd like the ground floor around the pool (a little shadier in the afternoon). Pool was busy but not noisy. It is an older hotel and could use a little sprucing up, but the linens were lovely and tv large. We found a parking space on the quiet street just below our room. There is sufficient parking with the lot across the way if needed, but for Thursday night's street fair, get back to the hotel by 4 p.m. to park close. Overall 4.5. Expected a noisy Coachella crowd, but the pool was quiet. They should have a notice about noise after 10pm...can close pool. Just a thought though it was not a problem for us mid-week. Both mornings of our stay there was a clogged toilet. Maintenance was VERY fast getting there the first morning, and we reported the second morning at our early check-out. There was NO wakeup call as promised - NONE. We had a reason to be up early. When reporting these 2 things to the desk at checkout, there was NO reply. AND they took my key card and cancelled it! I said I need to get back into the room! Have you cancelled my card? The young man said NO. On getting back to the room, of course, it didn't work. Luckily my friend was still in the room and opened the door.
Great location, easy to find and walk anywhere. Huge rooms, pool hot tub (under construction but looks like it will be nice). The room was a little unclean, not bad but not awesome. It looked like when they came to clean they only made the beds. Things are a little out dated but the price and location make it worth it!
Close to town Thin walls, very noisy
Some 20 years ago I used to stay at the Holiday Inn in Palm Springs... Now 20 years later I booked this mystery hotel on Kayak. I checked in and said "I feel like I was here before" I asked if this was a Holiday Inn at one time? The great staff said years ago. It has been very updated and very clean... I felt like I was home again...
There was a huge cockroach !!!!!
I liked the pool, jacuzzi and fire pit. The area was relaxing and well maintained and open in the morning and evening so you could enjoy it. The location is prime, just a block from the shops and clubs. The staff let me keep my car parked for a few hours after check out and they kept a bag for me for a few hours. The staff were friendly. The room smelled moldy and musty and there were a few ants on the floor and ceiling.
The Palm Mountain Resort & Spa was in a central location and is within walking distance of shopping, dining, and night life. The room was spacious and we had a great view of the pool area. The continental breakfast included only orange juice, coffee, and a choice of a bread selection.
The bed was comfortable, walking distance to downtown, very casual rules at the pool. We had no shampoo/ conditioner, lotion, and ice machine was out a lot.
We loved the view, the pool, the free bottles of water everyday, the short walk to many good restaurants and shops, the street fair, and the location as related to hiking activities. There were a few hiking trails we could walk to from the resort. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great view from our room with a nice balcony; however the carpet was pulling away from the wall and some of the wood was pulling away from the wall on the balcony.
The pool was beautiful and the room was spacious. I wish I had more than just one night there to enjoy the grounds!
Beware of the $20 resort fee. It allows them to advertise their rooms for less. It's BS.
Location was the best. Never used the car, which is good because parking was a challenge unless you're willing to walk a bit. Not enough parking in the premises. Fitness equipment is not at the hotel but over a mile away. You don't get breakfast. I don't call coffee and toast continental breakfast. That's all you get, oh and orange juice. Plus you have to walk to Rudy s Diner for it.
Good if you're looking for an affordable no frills place to stay and have a car (it's a drive to downtown). Like a motel, the doors face the streets and are accessible to the public from the outside. (Not a hotel where there's a lobby and inside facing doors for security.)
we have been here many times and was not disappointed. we especially love the pool area and spend a lot of time lounging there.
When we checked in we were given a 1 bed room. They were able to accommodate us to a room with 2 beds. They charged us again for the room. Once I challenged the charge, they were able to refund the charge. When we checked in. the room had not been cleaned. There were used towels and trash with both beds not made. It made it quite uncomfortable. After talking to the front desk, they sent over a cleaning crew to clean the room and make the beds and put fresh towels.
Service was great, and what I would expect. The staff was nice and friendly. I loved the pool area, glad that was designed well so all could enjoy and also the landscaping around it. The rooms could be updated but they were nice and clean and again, what you would expect. Thank you.
Clean. Comfy beds. Slow wifi, pool closed too early.
the pool was great, the room was clean, staff friendly, nice to have restaurant on site. you could tell the facility was quite old.
Nothing at all ... I just wished we stayed else where , even in our car would have been better Place is a run down dump, the rooms were like a sex hotel that people would use for an hour and check out, the room had green carpet if that was a warning! The bed was a $60 bed they paid at a flea market for $25.00, bedding was old nasty brown looking cover and pillows were 1/3 size normal and were square. Horrible horrible dump....the pool was 90 degrees, avoid this place, went to check out in the morning , the office is closed, the pictures shown on web site is deceptive, STAY AWAY!!!!!!
It was quiet Run down, bathroom was old, no elevator to second floor...
We stayed at the Quality Inn Palm Springs, CA and the front desk staff for the check in and check out and housekeeping were awesome, however that was the best part of our stay. The King size bed was extremely uncomfortable, the wallpaper was pealing off, the tub and tub drain were very worn out and we killed a cockroach in the bathroom. Very disappointing. We have stayed at several Quality Inn hotels in the past (Sierra Vista and Safford Arizona) and have had great experiences, which is why we chose to stay at the Quality Inn in Palm Springs. The Palm Springs hotel just seems like it has not been maintained like the ones we have stayed at in the past.
Great location, convenient to Downtown and Uptown Palm Springs. No frills, but clean and overall good stay.
Nice room, reasonable rates, reasonable close to downtown Palm Springs. Motel is on Palm Springs Bicycle Century route so can begin ride from here. However with Bookings, rates for 3 night stay were comparable to downtown 1 night stay. Still 2 miles from downtown Palm Springs.
The large pool and courtyard. If you don't want me to tell you why we didn't like this hotel without complaints, it is impossible! The taps would not shut off on the sink, the bathtub would not drain when we took a shower. There was constant air in the pipes because of the tap. The rug is coming away from the wall. We could not open the fridge door as it wasn't setting level. The carpet needed to be replaced. This hotel needs a reno and I would never recommend anyone stay here.
Nothing until I checked out 10 minutes after checking in The entire place. Filthy, ugly, rude staff
Mostly a good deal, friendly staff. There was a pubic hair in the sink when I arrived, beds were a little stiff
location carpet torn & dingy, auto light in bathroom, no fan in bathroom (didn't work)
The second room I was in was large, had a comfortable bed and a seating area with a sofa to relax in. There was a fridge, but no microwave. It took 4 attempts to get me a room with a working door. The first room tried 3 times with keys that wouldn't open the door. The housekeeping staff tried to let me in with the passkey, and even that was giving her trouble. We also couldn't close the door from the outside. Once in the room, I would be trapped there without a key to let me back in. After a few hours, they finally settled me into a second room. It advertises free wifi in every room. My new room was literatlly next to the office and I was unable to access wifi for most of my trip. If I lay a certain way on the bed and hold my laptop just so... it might connect for a bit. It advertises free breakfast every morning. Breakfast was toast and coffee. For a few dollars more per night, one could stay at a Motel 6 or a Travelodge chain that has certain standards of cleanliness and basics provided.
just was very awesome, loved the hot tub ,and rooms pillows
I liked not being at the hotel. The shower pan literally had holes in it where you could fall through. They didn't replace towels. The bed may have had bed bugs. The TV does not have basic cable channels like ESPN. The continental breakfast was locked down whenever I went to get breakfast, first attempt was at 630am, second at 730am, I gave up. The outlets don't all provide power. The wifi indicates you are online but is slower than dialup technology from the 1980s. This was literally the worst hotel I've ever stayed in...the only reason I stayed was because everywhere else was sold out. Don't stay at this hotel...especially not room 112
good free parking. comfortable bed, nice continental style free breakfast door was A LITTLE TIGHT TO OPEN probably a little wd 40 would help
Relatively cheap. Decently clean, not extremely horrible, but not pristinely clean. The office closes at 10:00 PM. You would think they were operating a restaurant and not a hotel with those hours.
we called ahead to see if we could arrive early and use the pool they told us yes bu when we arrived we could not use the facilities!! Disturbed us with phone calls seeing if we needed anything after we checked in and they walked us to our room we felt very disturbed our whole stay.
Property, location, and hotel itself was pretty good! Management, reservations, very unethical business practices! Cross your fingers that you don't have to deal with management and can just get into the hotel without problems. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional or unethical privately owned hotel in my life... You have been warned! We were told we made two reservations for the same days, guests, and would be responsible for paying for both even though it was a clear mistake on the hotels part. We are working through the credit card company now to turn them in!
Very pretty boutique hotel. Efficient & helpful staff.
The location is in the heart of downtown. It is so quaint and comfortable.
Room comfortable and clean, loads of space
Toilet ran all night. Bed was uncomfortable. Magnetic key constantly didn't work. Window in the room that had no blinds no elevator to room
great room with fire place no elevator or bellboy
Broken hot-tub? Half the benefit of a mid-winter stay in Palm Springs is jacuzzi time and it's broken.
The staff were great and the hotel is in downtown Palm Springs. We parked when we got there and only got in our car to drive home. It was very quiet. Our kids (3 & 5) had a blast and they were very accommodating with our Boxer Moose. They even provided a dog bed and bowl for him! The room was very cute with a jacuzzi tub in the room with a lot of very hot water. The bed was a bit soft. We prefer a very firm mattress.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was quite comfortable, with a nice ambience thanks to an electric fireplace, nicely designed bathroom, and very comfortable bed. No.
Great location. Quiet even though it is between to major streets. Walking distance to great food and shopping. A short drive to spectacular scenery. The staff were all helpful and in good spirits.
Location is right on the main street, room was large and comfortable, dog-friendly and provided dog bed, bowls and treats Most staff was very friendly, but even though we received a letter at check-in about asking the front desk for dog-friendly restaurants, etc. we received only two recommendations and a general comment that it is ok to bring the dog to most restaurants with outdoor patios when we asked.
