Ulemper: "Because we missed our connection on our incoming flight, due to a delay leaving Newark by Swiss, Swiss cancelled our returning flights. So when we got to the airport on our return day, we were not booked on any flights. We were required to stay overnight and take a United flight home. Will avoid Swiss in the future."

Fordele: "The airplane was cool and the time for arriving was correct as well as easy to check in. The pilot was good and they told us who won on the World Cup tournament I liked that. There was a younger crew memeber she was reaaally nice."
Ulemper: "I asked when i got my ticket for a window seat and he said he gave me one but he did not in the two flights I got. I requested the crew for a window seat if possible since I had been feelin nauseated, it did not help that the guy sitting next to me had a really bad breat and smelled bad. They offered me a sit in the middle of the plane, that did not work well because I was feeling sick, being in between a big guy and a bigger lady was not going to help at all. There was an older crew member and she seemed to be kinda discussed with the trash even though she was using gloves. Food was ok but not the best. To top it off I told them that the headphones connection wasn’t working and they only brought me a pair of new headphones. I tried mine and they didn’t worked, so the whole 8 hrs of flight I was watching movies with sound only from on side. They didn’t even bother, I guess cuz I am economy? Not sure I did see some free chairs in the lanes between economy and first class but they didn’t even suggested that so I decided to suck it up and sit on my assigned chair. The bathrooms where dirty and smelled reaaally bad from the beginning that really was disgusting to be honest. I can let go many things but not that. I had to help the passenger sitting next to me cuz he didn’t know how to do anything and didn’t speak English, he was an older man, with signs I was able to show him how an airplane works. I never complain about flights but this one was tooo many little things. Oh and what about an international flight where I have to pay for a second bag! Really? I did it on my way to Europe and I thought I payed both and then I had to do it again. Whatever money I thought I could save was a lie because I ended up paying a lot more adding the bags and additional transportation for home based on the airports. I am not satisfied at all with the flight experience"

Fordele: "Swiss is famous for the punctuality, I actually love the airport too in Zurich, is super clean and modern, very efficient. Food on board was great in Economy as well!"
Ulemper: "the seats are not spacious enough. I barely had the seats in front on my basically on my laps.. a little bit too claustrophobic!"
Fordele: "Cabin crew were friendly, efficient, courteous Refreshments generous and excellent. Good movies."
Ulemper: "Rather than boarding economy passengers by row number, there is a free-for-all at the gate, and tedious blockage in the aisles as passengers wait for others to place carry-on luggage. More leg-room than United, but still a bit crowded for tall people. VERY BAD DESIGN of arm-rests, which do not go up all the way into the seat but instead jut out at an angle."

Fordele: "Food is excellent... nice variety plus dessert. Everything was hot & delicious & used metal utensils which was much nicer than plastic."

Ulemper: "For 9 hr flight the space between the seats in economy class was way too small. Im 1.75cm (medium) and I felt squeesed and very unconfitable not like in Lufthansa airplane flying from Newark to Dussldorf. (Flight only 6:15min) In addition, when front passenger moved his seat back on me I had a lot of difficulties with getting in and out of my seaat."
Fordele: "Seats were comfortable, air crew was friendly, helpful and patient. The food was actually really quite good. Entertainment kept my little ones occupied and seated."
Ulemper: "There were quite a lot of in-flight announcements by the flight crew - which disrupted the in-flight entertainment and irritated the little ones. The garbage dispenser in the bathroom seemed a bit small for the task."

Ulemper: "Was sent through two redeem security screenings. In Zürich. I doubt this was the airline's fault but it had been a very early morning and it was challenging to remain patient."

Fordele: "Even though the flight felt like forever, the cabin crew did such a wonderful job at making us all feel comfortable. The food selection was great and the fact that the staff was approachable was also a great plus. Will definitely fly again using Swiss air. Thank you"
Ulemper: "On the flight to Zurich the passenger behind me gave me a difficult time about reclining my seat back but keep in mind he had his reclined. Coming back to Newark the gentleman behind my boyfriend made a comment how he didn't have room due to his seat being reclined. The passenger next to us was arguing with the passenger in front of her because she didn't want that person to recline their seat back. I have never experienced such rude people on a flight and I realize this is beyond your control. It made for a very uncomfortable and stressful flight. Maybe signs can be posted or a message when booking your flight that ALL passengers have a right to recline seats and if space is an issue for your comfort then upgrade to business class for more room."

Fordele: "I cannot check in online for us flights so I need to get my seat at the check in. I am flying with swiss every month between Zürich and New York but a lot of Ines I get a shitty seat even if I am silver status As a frequent flyer I expect a priority handling which is not the case . No upgrade poaaibility due to wrong booking class (even if flights are very expensive) if this continues to go that way I will change airline alliance This is more a miles and more issue but it is really annoying me in a way that I really consider changin"
Fordele: "Everything except the earphones was great"
Ulemper: "The earphones are bad and connector is 2 pins, so couldn't use mine."
Fordele: "Courteous staff,"
Ulemper: "Unorganized and hectic at the gate; personnel were rude and unhelpful. I was asked numerous times to Leave and let them do their work" when I asked why I was on standby and what that meant."
Ulemper: "Better seats"

Ulemper: "Airplane wasn't clean, we had hair on the headrest cover and asked one of the crew members for new headrest cover but was ignored."
Fordele: "This direct flight from Zurich-Newark is pretty comfortable, especially if you get the two seats at the either sides of the plane (it's a 2x4x2 config in Coach). The food is really good, they are generous with drinks and the crew is really friendly and smiling! Would take this flight again without any reservations in future!"
Fordele: "I was supposed to visit my father who was just put in a nursing home for a few days and the day of my flight I received an email from Swiss that they had rebooked me for the next day! So frustrating! The trip would have gotten so short that it wasn't worth it so I had to reschedule it 6 weeks out. It got my dad really upset! Thank god his health is stable at the moment."
Ulemper: "The boarding process at Zurich airport was a mess. There was no communication at the gate to tell passengers what to do or where to stand"
Ulemper: "Flight was delayed 4 hours. Asked 3 different personnel at Zurich airport at no one could help with wifi or how it could be accessed since both wifi scanning machine in Gate E area weren't working. It just seemed that they were incompetent or weren't willing to help. Crew on flight were very nice. Vegetarian food options better than chicken / meat options."
Fordele: "Great service on the board service, plenty of drinks during flight, decent food on economy class, spotless clean plane."
Fordele: "The staff were friendly and helpful, even more so as we traveled with two small kids. Very professional, high standards even for economy!"

Flight delayed over two hours, very little communication from staff then had to wait 2.25 hrs to clear passport control. Had arrangements for evening ruined as a result.

Fordele: "Meals were excellent and plane was very clean. Economy delight is definitely an upgrade worth considering with extra leg room and space in front of you in general."
Ulemper: "Boarding can get crowded so don't be in a rush"
Fordele: "Provides the service you'd expect from an international carrier. Boarded on time, seat actually reclines, meals, baggage, seat assignments are included in the price. Staff treat you well and the price isn't bad."
Ulemper: "Virgin website is slow and not intuitive. Couldn't get seat assignment until i was at the gate. No explanation why. Boarding announcements delivered via ESP. Half of the passengers were still in the boarding area because no one heard announcements. Arrived 30 min early but had to wait on the tarmac for 45 min for a parking gate. Baggage delivery at JFK took forever."
Fordele: "Service, pilot updates, and seating were all great!"
Fordele: "The flight crew was phenomenal, especially Daniella. Somehow we wound up with seats right next to the bathroom door, which would have been a pretty uncomfortable situation for a variety of reasons, but the flight wasn't full, and she helped us find a suitable place to sit. Also, my wife and I usually take our tea with honey vs. milk and sugar. Even though honey is usually one of the options for tea, she found a way to accommodate our request. The lunch meals were the best I can remember in a long time on an airline flight. They might have been the best I've ever had. The chicken curry was authentic, flavorful and spicy. Frankly my outbound flight had problems. My luggage got damaged. The transfer experience in Manchester left a LOT to be desired. I wasn't planning to use Virgin Atlantic again, but this flight crew (Daniella especially) redeemed Virgin Atlantic. They were attentive, pleasant, diligent."
Ulemper: "Only thing I didn't like about this flight was the boarding area. Once you get into that the area, you don't really have access to appetizing food (only vending machines) or even restrooms. That's one thing that could be improved."
Fordele: "Friendly staff, so much food/snacks were offered. Good movies available."

Ulemper: "Queue at boarding gate for upper class ticket holders Bus transfer to plane - Virgin is not a LoCo airline! Upper Class Service was slow - understaffed?"

Ulemper: "The food was okay. There were more tasty options traveling to Heathrow versus from Heathrow to the NYC. The boarding process was a mess. We had to wait in an enormous line and then take a bus to the flight."

Ulemper: "I paid extra for Economy Delight seats for me and my wife. Shortly after take-off, our calm and comfortable more or less empty section of the aircraft was colonised by an extended family of Orthodox Jews in a kind of airborne West Bank situation. They weren’t in our section of the cabin at all to start with, and I don’t know why they were apparently able to get a free upgrade that I had to pay £100 for. We went from being in an almost empty cabin to being basically sat in the middle of an Orthodox Jewish kindergarten. It was awful! They were noisy, messy, were constantly getting in and out of their seats, the back of my seat kept getting kicked, and there was even a baby crawling around the aisle. We were surrounded. I have no idea whether this is characteristic of Orthodox Jewish family life, or just a completely inconsiderate family. They didn’t exactly ruin my flight, but they didn’t make it enjoyable either. I asked to be moved. The cabin crew were great and acknowledged the difficulty of the situation. My wife lost her window seat but at least we still had the legroom and peace and quiet."

Ulemper: "Coffee. I don't know what it was but the worst coffee I have ever had and I tried it 3 times"
Fordele: "The service, the drinks, the crew were friendly and professional. Entertainment choices were excellent.0"
Ulemper: "The space was a bit cramped and the poxket in front of the chair to jeep things was broken."
Fordele: "Legroom, lovely staff and all round good flight"
Ulemper: "Older media entertainment screen with hard to use touch interface."

Fordele: "The crew were very polite and looked smart, I didn’t find them very personable at all though. The entertainment system is fantastic and my meal was ok I guess, I requested the low fat meal, probably should’ve just had the normal one."
Ulemper: "The seats are not very comfortable, very hard and textured seats that just don’t feel nice at all especially on a long flight. I weight about 11 stone (154 pounds) and even I felt like I was taking up a lot of room in my seat."
Fordele: "Nothing"
Ulemper: "I had to run for almost 2 miles every time I had to change the flight. On the way to India they lost my one bag, and on the way back to US they lost my both begs."
Fordele: "Quite a big choice of movies and TV shows to watch, more than enough for an eight hour flight. Normal headphone plugs so you can use your own."
Ulemper: "I booked together with my wife, yet we were allocated seats apart and were not able to be reassigned together. The leg room was so tight that I could not pick up things off the floor without putting my head in the next persons lap. Though the cabin crew were smiley and friendly, it was hard to get their attention when needed. The PA system is much louder than the entertainment, so announcements were ear bursting. The dinner selections ran out early, so a good proportion did not get their choice."
Fordele: "Everything went very fast and smooth. I didn't have to queue for the boarding. The Sita were very comfortable, the crew very friendly and halepful and the selection of the movies A+."
Fordele: "Choice of movies was good, but told the flight over was better. I flew another airline. Had no issue checking one bag in for free, but I think that is standard on an international flight."
Ulemper: "Entertainment systems take up foot/bag space underneath the seats. Was not able to get more than one glass of wine, even though I missed the first beverage service, that is my fault though, but I don't recall it being an issue getting a drink between services. Entertainment systems had contrast issues and it seemed like a lot of people 8 - 10 had issues since they were using iPads instead of the built in monitors. A lot of wear showing on the entertainment systems remotes."
Fordele: "The speed of boarding, then the frequency of service. Cabin crew were very dedicated. All in all, a very smooth flight. Ps. my first Virgin was called Carole. ;)"
Ulemper: "The food left a lot to be desired, but apart from my flight on Emirates to Auckland, Airoplne food does tend to be somewhat......mmmm not sure what the word is, but room for improvement describes it."

Ulemper: "The seat cushions are really hard and not very comfortable to sit on for a long flight. If you could get a higher density foam that would be great. my bum was a bit sore/uncomfortable."
Ulemper: "45 minute delay on runway after landing was very very frustrating."
Fordele: "Staff were friendly and flight was clean. Lots of movies to watch."
Ulemper: "The seats gets smaller each year. For a seven hour flight, the seats are very uncomfortable, no space to move. The flight with the hand held remote control TV had poor visual quality. It was hard to watch movies with dark background."

Ulemper: "This VS25 flight, whatever airplane it was felt old and the v poorly designed "seat back pocket" sat so low and protruded out so much that it pushed against your knees. V uncomfortable."

Fordele: "Extremely uncomfortable seats in the Economy section and a very confusing remote control to maneuver the entertainment screen. The crew was excellent so it's not their fault. The food was passable but those white bread rolls got to go. My luggage didn't arrive so let's hope they bring it today."

Crazy cold

Fordele: "I loved all the updated COVID protocols and the commitment to a safe comfortable flight. The crew did everything possible to ensure the trace experience was as smooth as it possibly could have been and showed a great deal of patience with my family of five that moves kinda slow sometimes."
Ulemper: "Biscoff cookies in every snack bag. Those cookies one of the most integral parts of flying delta for me"
Ulemper: "This plane was too full for social distancing. I was really skeptical about this flight as it relates to the COVID pandemic."
Fordele: "The crew was good, and the airline tried to make our wait in the airport as comfortable as possible."
Ulemper: "The four-hour delay was really hard. Since it was in DC, I don't know why it took so long to get another plane."

Ulemper: "I will say the flight to Orlando including an upcharge of $100 for a bag that was 10lbs overweight. I was INCREDIBLY frustrated at the crazy price. I understand fees would apply to overweight bags but $100???? Kind of ridiculous"

Long delay was said to be due to making sure our baggage would accompany destination. Upon arrival, bag was left in NYC but this wasn't communicated. No info on bag status at airport or via ema"
Ulemper: "Both Copenhagen and New York need to go a better job on the flow of passengers through Passport control."
Ulemper: "First class seats were too close together. It was very difficult to get out of you seat into the aisle. Food was not what it should have been for 1st class There was no wall between 1st class and coach giving little privacy when I worked my laptop. it was in direct view of the middle seat in coach"

Ulemper: "Went from LA to Guangzhou, China. My family checked 6 bags in. Only 5 arrived in China. My bag with ALL my clothes and ALL my meds was the one missing. I had nothing to wear (and that includes underwear) and no meds for 2 freakin’ days. Worst experience EVER!!!!"

Ulemper: "The boarding process at LAX was awful. I’m sure the horrible shuttle wait and transfer from terminal to terminal is the airport’s fault, but the airline did not do anywhere near enough to inform passengers of what was in store. It was confusing and annoying."
Fordele: "Coming from Europe Alitalia and Delta did an EXCELLENT job at assisting the passengers get rid of their luggage just as soon as we were done going through customs... I don't usually fly on this route, but I thought it was perfect. Transfer between Delta terminal was a breeze too..."
Ulemper: "I usually don't fly from JFK. The food court was expensive (18 dollars base price from a burger seems a high even for an airport. I don't fly from NY normally - so maybe I need to tune my expectation for the locale, and it may have NOTHING to do with the airline company."

Ulemper: "we began the boarding process late, which can be understandable, although the plane was there pretty early. Once the boarding began, someone, I presume the gate agent, essentially gave a countdown to hhow many minutes were left until the flight could have an "on time departure". I travel nearly every week so I value being on time. However, a minute by minute call to hurry up on a flight that was sold out was over the top. There was mumbling among the passengers, to the point of someone joking "Free cookies and water if we make it on time?" Just a bad gate experience, but bad enough that peopoe were commenting, and I waited for someone from the cockpit to del\part so I could mention it to them."

Had to scramble so my 18 year old son was not stranded overnight in a strange place and Delta does not help. Only rebooked a flight itinerary for the next day for a 4 hour flight with connections on a 1 hour direct flight. Spent an hour on line to figure out what to do. #neverdelta"

Ulemper: "Boarding was slow and the interviewers were disrespectful. Also I was upgraded last minute and I could never understand the system by which upgrades to first class are granted. Just because I used my points to buy the flight I wasn’t eligible for an upgrade to the one seat left in first class even though the flight is full and I am the first one on comfort+ upgrade list and there was no one on delta one upgrade list."

Ulemper: "Didn't realize the last seat on the plane doesn't mean back."
Ulemper: "The flight left three hours late while the crew was waiting for an oxygen tank to arrive. We were boarded onto the plane after it was nearly an hour and a half late, then waited in out cramped seats for another hour and a half as we continued to wait for the same piece of equipment. At one point a Delta employee announced over the plane's PA system that we'd be getting vouchers to compensate us for this absurd delay, but there was no explanation of how to claim those vouchers."
Fordele: "The crew was friendly, relaxed, made everything seem like a breeze"
Fordele: "I could be wrong, but the seats were very comfortable (for a plane) and I felt my knees weren't as close to the seat in front of me than other airlines. So that's a plus."
Ulemper: "There wasn't electricity at all on my seat and on some other in the same area. The screen didn't work and I couldn't even charge my phone. Very bad experience!"

I made my flight with only minutes to spare after going through two security and passport checkpoints and sprinting an entire wing of the airport. I will never fly through Ataturk (or anywhere in Turkey) again."
Ulemper: "Staff seemed to not care about passengers. Could partially be a language/cultural barrier, but i have consistently noticed staff just want to push through their tasks. Actual service is not a priority it seems. Another issue, often times they run out of food."

The food is excellent. Only missing part is to have some candies or chocolates for the 13 hour trip for San Francisco to Istanbul. You can not beat their price. Crew is very friendly and helpful at the same time. Slippers and socks they give you in economy class + cotton blanket of course make you feel you are 1st class traveler. What else? You name it and it is there. Will fly again with Turkish airlines."
Fordele: "Fantastic onboard entertainment. Lots of current movies and tv shows to watch. Music was available, too. Even a camera under the plane to see what you’re flying over...usually clouds. USB charging, big screens in the headrests, games, remote control with keyboard and game controller, network cable for laptops without Wi-Fi even. The had pillows and blankets on every seat when we arrived and handed out hot towels before the first meal. They also provided a kit with eye mask, toothbrush, cologne, and slippers. Far better than we expected."
Ulemper: "We were subjected to at least five security checks after our transfer in Istanbul. At the gate they checked our passports and boarding passes five times before boarding, every carry on bag was searched and every person was patted down. We even watched while one man held up his baby for a guard to pat the baby down! This was all after the security we’d received to get to our gate. So, if you left the gate to use the bathroom, you had to go through all the checks again."

I did not say anything but, the stewardess should have made one of the people go back to their seat as he was wedged near the window and sitting on the floor. It made my 13.25 hours trip very uncomfortable. They had a child with them so, I didn't wish to complain while on board."

And none of that captures the insanity of being sent to a transfer desk with no way out except buying a Turkish visa and going through immigration. Inexcusable. I have traveled to over 40 countries in the past 30+ years and this was beyond the pale, absolutely a nightmare, and almost all of it (excepting the actual snow delay) in the airline's control. NEVER FLY THIS AIRLINE THROUGH ISTANBUL."

He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Ulemper: "Staff at the airport pushing you to upgrade to first class but not making it clear only the first trip from Athens to Amsterdam which the first class uses same uncomfortable seats as the economy to pay extra 130 euros ridiculous airfrance stuff! I should have flown all the way to NYC first class!!!"

Sitting at the gate there was then suddenly a last call to board the flight and a mad rush for everyone to get on. Fordele: "The constant supply of food that was offered to you. The crew was nice and always helpful."
Ulemper: "The process of boarding in Amsterdam was not organized and felt more stressful than it needed to be."

Ulemper: "Boarding was odd. Go to airport early and counters were not open, did on line check in so was able to avoid the self check in at airport. Also self check in luggage seems confusing with no ground crew to help. It didn't affect me but lots of confused passenger."
Fordele: "KLM fed a sandwich even though the flight was only 2 hours. The crew was pleasant. Getting through the Amsterdam airport to catch a connecting flight with only an hour to do so was no big deal. Airport staff was pleasant and helpful."
