Very friendly and helpful staff
The view was incredible valet parking was sweet The fact that I had a family emergency and wasn't offered any sort of amount back. I paid 435 for less than 6 hours in a room
I called ahead to let them know I am bringing my dog and was incredibly surprised to have been offered dogs bowls and a dog bed placed in the room prior to me checking in. From then on, the hotel made sure to provide excellent service for anything we needed. The room was gorgeous and have really comfortable beds! I'm not one to sleep in, but I didn't have an issue catching a few more hours of shut eye. I highly recommend staying here.
Nice location for nightlife and history tours. I receive a monthly check from the VA for a service connected disability -- my ONE night stay cost more than that entire check! And for what? I received no continental breakfast; parking is $50 a NIGHT; and my room with a king-sized bed was tiny. No idea if internet was included, as I was not given a password. I wanted to sit in my room and prepare for a speech I had to give, but, my absurdly expensive room did not come with a chair besides an ergonomically nightmarish desk chair. I had a ton of clothes because I was there for a three day wedding, so my hands were full. I received no bell-service, carried all my stuff to my room, and the keys didn't work; so I had to lug everything back to the front desk. Had to iron shirts for the wedding, the ironing board looked like it was bought from a yard sale. For the cost of this room, I expect quality amenities. Also, the bouncer for the rooftop bar, who looked a like a teenager, watched one of the wedding guests get assaulted, laughed, and did nothing. Honestly, we should've called the police. Posh and ostentatious, with little reward. Go somewhere else.
Everything was walking distAnce. Easy access to many places. ❤
Not really good for young toddlers comfortable bedrooms. Needs updated decor and carpets definitely need a good deep clean. Better attention to details such as restocking coffee and cups complete with lids. Likewise bathroom products. Staff polite but on a rush to get through whether finished or not. When asked by telephone about airport shuttle was told none upon arrival at hotel found they do have services
Just a solid business hotel Decor was generic in rooms, common areas, and outside. Thoroughly dull.
Bell hops and valets were very kind and professional. Pet policy is not clearly stated on their website. We arrived at the hotel with the intention of sightseeing and ended up being stuck in our room watching our dog because the policy doesn't state online that you have to stay with him at all times even if he's in a crate. This made us on able to benefit from our complementary breakfast since he was also not allowed in the dining area and the entire purpose of the trip was for a Valentine's Day getaway with my husband. It left us leaving the room individually and scrambling for last-minute plans. We did not get to enjoy our vacation the way we expected to and were even more upset that when we called to ask about the policy that we weren't informed in advance. We did not get told until after check in
The downstairs spa and pool was relaxing and very clean. The staff throughout the hotel was friendly and quick to take care of anything we needed. Even though the valet parking quickly retrieved our car and due to the difficult nature of street parking in Philadelphia, well worth the cost. We had a wonderful time at the Franklin.
Housekeepers were the nicest people in the whole facility Let me see Spa - the massage therapist texted on her phone through the entire massage, massaging with one hand then putting phone on my back Front desk - asked for late check out, was told it was not possible because hotel was sold out that night. As the conversation progressed or digressed as the case may be, was told that I could extend for another night. Not sure why it's okay to lie to people to their face Summary - not only will I never stay at that hotel again in philly, I will never stay in an Omni again. Not sure why the employees don't understand that their pay checks come from money paid by guests. You might want to let them know how the revenue is generated. Sad day
Loved the location. Right Across the street was race street pier and a lovely view of the Ben Franklin Bridge. close proximity to historic downtown and an easy safe walk. Shower itself was clean as well as vanity surfaces and sink. My room faced the interstate and did get loud with traffic honking and making louder than usual noises. The bathroom had a unclean appearance with what looked like cleaner buildup in the corners of the bathroom.
Location was convenient $30 to park overnight was ridiculous. Highway noises were louder than expected. Could not get any hot water from shower or sink. Could not use card I wanted to due to the high hold they put on for damages and parking could not be paid separately, even after I was told I could change it to pay at check out.
Cute hotel right near the Historical and Old City districts. 5-10 minute walk to most museums and major historical sites. Restaurants and night activities on the same block, Market Street. Next to I-95, so it was a little loud at night.
The only good things were that the bed was good, the spa tub worked and the staff was courteous. No microwave, no coffee pot, the mini fridge wasn't plugged in then gurgled all night, every time another door on the level opened our door jostled, the toilet seat was peeling, there was no menu in the book like it says it should be rough sheets and robes
Location, Staff, Lounge, Room, Breakfast.
Location Small room and no facilities at a price that is equal to Sheraton and Hilton level hotels
I loved their location and the vintage feel the old building gave. It would have been great to get an idea of the history of the building and why it was still standing after so many years.
Nothing The rooms do not match the pictures what so ever. The bed for sure had to have bed bugs and the restroom had roaches. I didn't even stay for a few hours before I left. Reminded me of a room out of AHS.
