Ponta Delgada (Açores) hoteller

Fordele: Loved the stay on this place, it’s beautiful, incredibly clean, staff is super friendly, breakfast is delicious, right next to Ponta Delgada center and with cozy common areas.

Fordele: Staff was great, breakfast was amazing, definitely check out their family dinners.

Fordele: For those who it’s important the kingsize couple bedroom doesn’t have a tv. Perfect reception, breakfast, at a walking distance from downtown. Really really clean

Fordele: Best hostel I've ever been to by far. All the staff was always eager to help, considerate and friendly and they did everything they could for the guests to have a memorable time, and it showed. Breakfast was amazing, gathering in the garden outside (and even in February the weather was great for being outside) with lots of different options. They also held thematic dinner nights in the garden, different each day, with some being just really good food and lots of drinks, to really unique experiences (plus at really really good prices, especially for multiple drinks and excellent food). Rooms were immaculate, all shared spaces (e.g. bathrooms) where not just clean but spotless at all times, beds where comfy and they even offered a fully equipped kitchen with tons of kitchenware, spices, olive oil etc to use. The whole experience also rubbed off the guests, as everyone was happy and friendly and it helped that the way the hostel was built and run prioritized socializing and making friends. Already planning when I can visit again, and I can't wait to go back, really

Fordele: Great and clean facilities (one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in), amazing complimentary breakfast, very helpful staff, nice swimming pool!

Ulemper: Optional family dinner: Paid 12€ (on the pricey end for family dinners I’ve had at hostels) for a pretty bad tasting dinner (had the feeling I was eating soggy fried rice), which included only the one dish (includes seconds) and a drink

Fordele: The garden and swimming pool are lovely.

Ulemper: I do not like black bathrooms I did NOT like the bed

Fordele: Fabulous room with amazing views.

Fordele: All the rooms have a view of the waterfront/harbor. We had a balcony as well. Good size room with king size bed. The breakfast was great with plenty of options and an omelette station. We had dinner at the hotel one night and it was excellent. Staff was friendly and efficient. Nice rooftop bar.

Fordele: Dejlig centralt beliggenhed. Tæt på bymidte, havn, indkøb og restauranter. Nyt og moderne. Store værelser med udsigt over havnen. God morgenmadsbuffet.

Ulemper: Ikke alt levede op til 5 stjerner. Restauranten havde lidt problemer omkring morgenmaden. Ikke alt var klar ved åbning - og oplevede et par gange at vente på bestilt kaffe og the - så længe, at vi næsten var færdige med at spise inden den blev serveret. Der er ligeledes tilbud om, at man kan få tilberedt æggeretter, hvilket også var lidt af en farce hver morgen, idet man først skulle finde en tjener, der så skulle hente kokken i køkkenet - det kan gøres meget bedre. Fugt ved indgangen til hotellet fra p-kælderen samt fugt i badeværelset gav lugtgener. Meget sent rengøring af værelserne (mellem kl. 15-16), hvilket var irriterende når man kom hjem fra udflugter og skulle nyde det på balkonen. Også skørt når 2. rengøring blev tilbudt ca. 2 timer senere.

Fordele: The hotel was very clean, and the staff very helpful.

Ulemper: We had a leaky bathroom sink that the maintenance man worked on it but never got fixed.

Fordele: Morgenmad perfekt. God udsigt fra balkon.

Ulemper: Støjniveau dels fra vejen og fra bar

Fordele: It’s the best ever in everything that you would think on.

Ulemper: Der var nogle faciliteter som ikke var tilgængelig, formentlig på grund af vedligeholdelse.

Fordele: Good location. Free parking.

Ulemper: The room was very small, no coffee set inside.

Fordele: Staff was excellent and really instrumental in organising my stay, tours, rent-a-car, airport pick-up and drop-off. They were available around the clock. Breakfast was both continental and local so I did not need look for a local cuisine restaurant - the hotel showed me the Azorean food. Spa and pool. My room had an extraordinary view over the bay of Ponta Delgada.

Ulemper: It's a bit off the centre of Ponta Delgada but it has its charm.

Fordele: Super fin lejlighed. Stor og rummelig. Rengøring i top. Receptionen i top. Restauranten halter bagud. Havde svært ved at forstå os. Maden so so. Mangler dog måske en børnemenu. Morgenmaden var heller ikke prangende. Til slut synes jeg, at man burde komme af med papegøjen i buret ved poolen. Det var et trist syn.

Fordele: Positive things were the personal and the breakfast, correct for the price you pay.

Ulemper: One of the reasons we booked it was because of the gym. When we arrived there we were informed that the gym is not there any more. The rooms are small and the facilities a little old. We had a burger in the bar and it was the worse i ever tried.

Fordele: Friendly staff

Ulemper: Nothing, Parking is a bit narrow for big cars

Ulemper: If porridge was prepared in kitchen and served we would be very thankful.

Fordele: Lidt kedelig men ok
