Fordele: Service is impeccable. This is a truly unique property. Secluded, private and set up perfectly. I never come back to same place on vacation in general....this is my third time with no regrets.

Ulemper: Meals are expensive and high taxes.

Fordele: The staff was incredibly friendly and the VIP service through customs was the best thing ever. We were on the beach 15 minutes after de-boarding the plane. The villas are gorgeous and little details throughout the property like the orchids everywhere are such nice extras. Having access to a golf cart and bikes was key! We loved exploring the entire property, especially the Ojos Indigenas ecological reserve. The sunrises are gorgeous every morning and my husband loved all the great golf nearby!

Ulemper: The food is not five star food but it's still pretty good. Also, the beaches are great but the white cages out in the ocean to keep the seaweed out do ruin the vista just slightly. But much better than having seaweed on the beach!

Fordele: We loved everything; excellent service, beautiful rooms, yummy food, amazing golf courses all around. We will definitely return. Thank you Tortuga bay for everything.

Fordele: Everything was perfect and above expectations: - the bedroom was huge, 2 bathrooms, a big terrace, a small kitchen, always clean - the quality of service is amazing! I’ve never seen that anywhere else: from the VIP arrival, to the beach, the restaurant, housekeeping, the driver, your private villa manager. - the hotel doesn’t have a lot of rooms, you feel really relaxed, you’re almost alone on the beach or at the pool. It’s exactly what we were looking for.

Ulemper: - they’re doing all they can to remove the sargassum seaweed. You still have some, but it’s way way better compared to other resorts in Punta cana or in the Caribbean. There’s no problem to swim in the sea.

Fordele: It was good room, good food (not all but enough to choose), some evenings was good show. Good aquapark but if children are small not many options to choose and remember you as adult can not use it, just be near. They really interested in opinion you have and try to solve your requests. What I did not like n this point is: It is good that conserje was checking if our requests was done, but for me it was too much. If I asked to solve something, then person come to solve it and then concerje call us back to check if it was done. The last step for me was a bit too much, because during our 1 week stay they wake up my baby 3 times during day sleep, so finally i had to turn off telephone at all

Ulemper: - Staff in kids club do not look very friendly. Before I read in feedback about this but did not understand well what did they mean but when we came to the club and saw very indifferent person with absolutely not caring and interested face. - Entertainment team is really very low quality. We came from another hotel where it was another level and even hotel was smaller the entertainment team was very bright, everybody knew them and recognize from the far. Here boys from the team looks like they replace someone from entertainment team who is ill now. No personality, not good dancers, can not really attract people. And I would advise to the hotel think to change their uniform. They are not visible at all. - Very big territory and not very clear how to move there. It is like 7 hotels in 1. For example we booked in one of them the restaurant and nobody do not want us to drive back to our hotel. So under the rain with little girl we had to walk and try to find the way back. - Very bad and un-useful application. For this level of hotel it is unacceptable - You have to refresh your internet connection every 24 hours. in 21st century we have this? Really? When I claim it, they gave us VIP access so we should not, but it worked just on computer, not mobile for us. Anyway I think this is the topic which should not be even discussed in our days. - there was a case when in food there was decoration sticks with fungus! We complained to the managers and next day this was corrected but it is not acceptable especially when we are saying about kids food where was a lot of this sticks - very low quality of drinks. In kids hotel you expect much better. They made them from very chimical concentrates. We came from another hotel of Dominicana and had good chance to compare. In this hotel we could not drink any coco-loco because it was horrible quality.

Fordele: Fantasia resort is really a Fantasia :-) There you have everything what you need for an unforgettable holiday! Beautiful resort, beautiful beach, beautiful pool, nice restaurants, good food, a la carte restaurants included in all-inclusive, good cocktails (!, not very usual in all inclusive resorts), very friendly staff, always smiling, nice water park for children, very nice shows in the evening (specially the Michael Jackson show), perfect service with the electric train driving you everywhere, one restaurant for lunch also situated directly on the beach, very good drinks served on your sunbed on the beach, when you call the reception to ask something (or ask something through a perfect application installed on your mobile phone on your arrival) in few moments is somebody in your room to bring what you asked. With this very usefull application you can have every day on your mobile phone all information you need, daily program of activities, book your table for the dinner in a-la-carte restaurants... I can write more and more, etc., etc ... but in few words: there you have everything what you need for an unforgettable holiday! Thank you Fantasia Bahia Principe, we hope we'll be back!!!

Ulemper: Just a little complaint about the kids club ... It is very nice and very good equipped, but the staff there is not so perfect as all other staff. They are also ok, nothing so bad to say, but not so friendly as everywhere in the resort. Specially because their job is working with children, you expect they will be very friendy specially with children, but the staff everywhere is more friendly with children than the staff in kids club. They also don't do to much activities with the children and don't accept children under 4 years. But this is also not so big problem, because there are many, many nice things for children as waterpark, play grounds, activities in the pool, etc ...!

Fordele: For the kids is basically a dream come true. The castle is amazing and all the kids activity and different places they can go is a plus. We highly recommend de hotel for a family vacation.

Ulemper: The artificial drink is really bad. I think the hotel is killing the full enjoyment by serving such a bad cuality drink. It was horrible. We paid a high amount of money trying to find a good cuality resort.

Fordele: Thia is a hotel thought for kids all the amneities are designed for the little ones to have a good time

Fordele: Our luxury suite was amazing had our own private pool and golf buggy to get around in. The Acqua di Parma toilettes were a lovely touch in the bathroom and outside shower. The staff were amazing and very helpful. Carlos and Abi really went above an beyond to make us feel at home. The golf course was absolutely beautiful. The food in the Peruvian / Japanese restaurant was on par with roka an Zuma. The beach restaurants settings were breathe taking.

Ulemper: We went in the low season so it was a little quiet for a young couple. But I was told this was due to the time of year an it is busier in the high season. Some of the staff found it hard to understand our English so some food orders got messed up. Service was slightly slow some times whilst ordering drinks on the beach. Even so we will still be returning in January :)

Ulemper: 1300$ a night but broken toilet, broken fridge, Jacuzzi not working, only 5min of hot water. We complained but they did nothing. they are just here to take your money. And after the check out was done and we already left they took 150$ more without explanation.

Ulemper: Wished they had mini frig accessible in room. Also bar service on the beach was intermittent. Not sure what was up with the blue barrier in water, kinda ruins the view a little

Fordele: Beautiful sunrises and sunsets viewed from the balcony. Large swimming pool with a large Jacuzzi..Beachfront - beautiful white sand silk and smooth. Delicious food .Extremely friendly staff.There is a free shuttle bus from the hotel to some attractions, the village and some restaurants. Live music at the bar in the evening.The room was fabulous- large bathroom- large walk in closet . Beautiful views.It was amazing!!!

Fordele: The staff at the bars and at the buffets were super attentive and kind. The food was delicious and the drinks were super yummy.

Ulemper: Where to begin: --The location/directions were wrong on booking.com and it took us over 1.5 hours to find our hotel in the dark. --Our waiter for dinner our first night (restaraunt right off the lobby, ate outside) was just snobby and rude. --Our first morning, we decided we wanted to have room service. There was no menu so we called before 10 for the menu. We called again at 1030. At 1050, my husband went out to see what was going on. The same waiter from the first night said, well you can just eat here. Not the point. By the time we received menus, we could only order lunch. It was tedious to order due to language barriers. After waiting 40 minutes, we called again and finally received our food. Then room service showed up at our room 3 other times throughout our stay with food for other rooms. --The room seemed like it hadn't been occupied in a long time. The batteries in the remote control were corroded. There were no coffee cups and it took us 24 hours to get some. --They advertise 7 restaraunts but only 3 were open. -- The advertised private beach is not. You are taken by van to a beach club where many other hotels go. The beach was just ok. --For the price, there are way more luxurious hotels and accomodations.

Ulemper: The rooms were terrible. They look great in the photos but they smell terrible and two of my family members had flooding in their rooms during the stay - one even had part of the ceiling come down! Another had dirty sheets when they arrived, still another had to switch rooms for flooding, and another still for horrible smells. (We were there for a wedding). I had to reject the first 3 rooms they brought me to because the odor was so bad I couldn't go into them. They claim it's because it's a humid climate but I've stayed all over the Carribbean and NEVER experienced rooms that smelly. Upgrading to the higher tier is NOT worth it. You do not get better rooms, nor different alcohol - total waste of money. Also - honestly, they let some vendors on the property who are pushy and overbearing. In fact, one of their vendors kept trying to get my 16 year old nephew to buy marijuana until I yelled at him. The beach area is nice but you're on the Atlantic so the water is cloudy, there's a ton of seaweed, but there are no waves. I'd say go for the Caribbean side if you can find something. It's just not worth the money. If they upgraded the rooms then this would be a great place to stay on a pretty mediocre beach.

Fordele: Liked the pool and restaurants were ok. Service and cleanliness was stellar.

Ulemper: I didn’t like our room. AC didn’t work well. It was dark. The water in our sink and shower smelled horrible. The food was just ok. Too many guys on beach trying to sell you stuff. They blocked the view of the ocean. Couldn’t really get in the ocean.

Ulemper: I did not like the horrible hard pillows. The entertainment team is pretty bad (it lacks everything that involves entertainment).

Fordele: We've been to the area several times and really enjoyed our stay. The resort is just the right size - small enough to easily get around, but large enough to have great amenities and food options. Nice, calm vibe and very friendly staff.

Ulemper: The only complaint we had was the seaweed problem on the beach. This resort did a great job removing it, but it was a big issue and the neighboring resorts did a poor job with the cleanup so it was not as pleasant to walk the beach.

Fordele: The resort and people are great. The resort was well maintained and clean. They even sprayed the room, for bugs. They have a day and night maid service. The employee's was nice and kind. I was treated like a VIP.

Ulemper: There's not to much, that I didn't like. I just wished, when I booked my room, I was offered a membership.

Fordele: a very clean, comfortable alternative for all those who are not looking for an AI resort or are traveling for business. The rooms are very clean and nicely equipped with iron, spacious closet, coffee maker, desk and modern bathrooms. We didn't have breakfast nor did we use the 24h room service, but think this adds to the overall efficient service of the hotel.

Ulemper: I just stay 2/3 nights and they said NO to reimburse me for the night i don't use... because it was made by booking and something about the commission... The breakfast is only 9-11am after threr is not restaurant or something to eat inside / no swimming pool... it is more a high class motel...

Fordele: Bed was comfortable. Room was generally good, but more fancy design than functional, e.g., not a lot of good places to unpack and store your clothes and toiletries. Temperature control is a little funky. Breakfast is great! Seating area outside the dining area is next to a busy street. It's lovely when it's quiet, but it isn't always peaceful, e.g., during the morning rush hour. (If you're in the all-inclusive hotel area all day, this probably isn't a problem. However, I was looking to be close to my room in the morning so it mattered a little bit to me.) The seating area outside includes breakfast tables and sofas. There were people smoking on the outside sofas on several occasions that drove us inside. To get to the beach and pool you need to wear a wrist band, which is a little annoying. At the pool (in the all-inclusive hotel area), there was usually a guest or two overdoing it with their all-included drinks. Not a big deal. Just move to another spot. At the beach, a couple of times there were cigar smokers. Apparently, cigars are big thing in DR. Again you may need to move to another spot. A food truck area with outdoor seating is a 10 minute walk. We didn't try it. Maybe a dozen restaurants are a 15 minute walk in the same direction. The restaurants were generally good. The street to restaurants seems to be pretty safe, if a little on the dirty side. Littering apparently isn't frowned on in the DR. There is a small store across the street and a couple stores on the way to the restaurants. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, I recommend NH Punta Cana.

Fordele: Good hotel with free parking space. Very clean and spacious rooms and great shower, very comfortable bed and good breakfast buffet. You get day access to the now Larimar Beach Hotel which is very convenient. Staff is great and very well trained. In particular Alexander.

Fordele: Excellent location. 15-minute walk for lots of restaurants and bars. I stayed in the two-bedroom and there was plenty of room and well maintained.

Ulemper: Some dish soap and laundry soap would be nice and directions for the dishwasher.

Ulemper: Bed was too small for two people and not very comfortable. When I took showers water would run out onto the bathroom floor but onto the floor outside of the bathroom.

Fordele: The staff is amazing!! We can't say enough good things about the wonderful staff. The pool is nice and the area around the pool is nice, the apartment is spacious and had a nice patch of grass off the balcony for the dogs (1st floor only), the fact that we could have our dogs there was amazing!! I like also that electricity is included, that was fantastic. The apartment is in one of my favorite areas of Bavaro so that was huge plus!

Ulemper: The beds were old and uncomfortable, the sheets were old as well, the couch and chairs were awful to sit on, there were no real coffee cups, no jug to have water...overall the apartment needs some TLC and updates.

Fordele: This place is amazing. We have stayed there before and was excited to come and stay there again. I was late checking in due to a delayed flight but there was someone there to help me when I arrived.

Ulemper: The pool could use a little work and be cleaned of the debris that falls off the trees. I didn’t like the cats that were around the property. One night while sitting on our patio with the door left opened a cat when into our room. We got it out but it tried to enter again.

Fordele: We had an amazing stay! The pool was very relaxing and the stay was fun and always willing to help, they wanted to make sure our stay was amazing; which it was. They had busses to the beach and chairs at the beach to sit in.

Fordele: The staff was wonderful! Freddie is the best! Apartment spacious & clean with good air conditioning. The little pool is lovely.

Ulemper: There was a VERY large tax fee. The view from our balcony was not a good one. THIS PROPERTY IS NOT ON THE BEACH. It's close. No fault of the staff of course, but the beach was covered woth seaweed-- big trucks all day hauling it away which made the beach disagreeable.

Fordele: I got an upgraded suite so it was worth it, but ig i gotten a normal appartment the history would have been different since their common pool for the complex is not the one shown in the pictures. The one in the pictures with the ocean view is the pool in the pent house suite which is super cool. The breakfast is good too.

Ulemper: Cleanliness i would give 90%, One of the air conditioner was liking and the staircase handle was loose. The service staff is real nice so it made it ok. Beach near by is not good, you have to walk a few minutes to get to a good place.

Fordele: Breakfast was fantastic. Beautiful beach locale. Loved the beach and the apartment was spacious and nicely decorated!

Fordele: A great place with awesome staff. Very, very close to the beach. Clean large rooms and showers. Preferred the Chateau Del Mar Villa over the swanky all inclusive we stayed in earlier in the week. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. Walking distance to restaurants that were recommended to us. The pool was refreshing with a bar and quiet music.

Ulemper: The smell in one particular area on the way to pool three. It looked the sewage system needed to be looked at. Pool 3 side walls were not clean. The location and price were very good and I as decided not to use the facilities as much I turned a blind eye on most of the services.

Fordele: I love the place in the moment I was there. Ernesto is an awesome employee and is kind, helpful and really hard worked. Love my suit and the pool

Ulemper: The only thing I didn't like was that the beach was not that good. But after that everything was perfect.

Ulemper: I am a Vegan , All food was made with butter . Some staff was helpful pointing out which foods were made or not made with butter . I had a great time there but these are the main problems . Laundry service there is 5 USA for each item you want washed . Laundry down the block 5 dollars for my whole load . Needed asthma meds since i forget mine . Two pharmacys on the block . one on the right is a thief one on the left great service no prescription and got Albuteral for rescue inhaler for about 5 dollars . All inclusive I would think means all inclusive . but a room safe is not all inclusive . unless you pay an additional 3 dollars a day for its use.

Fordele: Animators, personal, pools and food was great. But beach wasnt beufitul.

Fordele: i did not like it at all, poor service, costumer service is terrible, housekeeping i think they are not making enough money, so that's why they really don't care about their job. i was expecting dominican republic food on the menu. conclusion, I WILL NEVER STAY IN THIS RESORT EVER AGAIN. It is too expensive for what they offer.

Ulemper: NOTHING.

Fordele: The beach was nice and clean. Many pools and enough sun beds at the beach and the pools. Beach towels. Staff was happy :) We booked the sea view room and loved it.

Ulemper: Salty tap and pool water. Bathroom was not a new :)

Ulemper: The food choices & cooking could have been better The bathroom was clean but not convenient no hangers for towels, no hook for toiletpaper, no showercurtains The TV was intermittant

Fordele: good location, however hotel is separated in two buildings in L shape, stayed in the one were you had to walk 2min for the beach. Still good value for money.

Ulemper: The buffet dinner was supposed to be Mexican food which I dont understand if we are in Dominican Republic, on top it was NOT Mexican (at all) more like taco bell kinda food (in a bad way) I would prefer 100 times Dominican food or seafood. Staff was great.

Fordele: Beach Some wait staff at meals. I can't eat onions, everything was covered with onions, even at breakfast time!

Ulemper: When showering I was standing in 1" of water, drain didn't work! Had to flush toilets 3 or 4 time! Absolutely no toiletries! Plastic glasses everywhere. Plus so small ! TV kept turning Off!

Fordele: Loved the hotel, the pools, the food and literally eveything. The animation team (Jairod) and from the reception (Aris) and the bar staff (Adonys, Ezequiel) took a great care of us. We had a wonderful time there.

Ulemper: In general the hotel is stunning so was the staff too mainly. Making the extra mile for you. There was only 2 things we didnt like, that we went for excursions and we couldnt have breakfast because the breakfast started later than the pickup, same.for every other guests. I suggest to start the breakfast at 7 instead of 7.30. So could also the staff relax more because like this they made faces and it was spoiling a bit the day. The other thing was about the Nexus Tours, which is the official partner of the hotel. We booked a pickup through there site what was fine but when we wanted to book the return way the guy was very unfriendly, unprofessional and didnt help us, so we booked through another company. I do not recommend booking wirh the Nexus tours. We booked through the Happy Divers and had a great service regarding everything.

Fordele: Location is good and parking space are excelente

Fordele: Fint stor og ren lejlighed med god balkon

Ulemper: Snackbar ved pool helt elendig, og hotellet er placceret i et privat område ved Cap Cana, hvor der absolut ingen restauranter eller andre faciliteter er. Det var totalt øde uden mennesker nogen steder.

Fordele: Clean room. Great surroundings. Beautiful view and beach.

Ulemper: All rooms are connecting. Connecting doors are closed and secure but sounds and smells go thru these doors. We had the noisiest neighbor with a beast for a dog that barked all night. They cooked very smelly food that invaded our place like if it was us cooking. Terrible experience.

Ulemper: no ice or wine openers

Fordele: Breakfast was ok, the food was good but not the variety. It has a late hour snack and bar, which was good. The rooms were big but dated and need some repair in the shower.

Ulemper: The entrance to the hotel is not appropriate, it looks like a service entrance instead of the main access. The elevator stop working in the morning.

Fordele: Staff very friendly and helpful, however the buffet servers looked not to happy sometimes. Drinks ok, food was good. Location perfect, entertainment what great also. Easy check in and out.

Ulemper: My biggest disappointment was the awful smell of the tap water, shower,. You can taste strong salinity in the water. We had to use bottles of water for personal higiene ( bottle of water provided by the hotel) . Aslo the buffet server when ask about a dish they can't explain what is it, sometimes they don't even know the name of the dish, some friendly other kind of rude so I just stay away of asking for anything.

Fordele: Amazing staff and service. Our room was pretty awesome also. Thank you all.

Fordele: Room was great, and so was the air conditioner

Ulemper: The food was mediocre at best. No selection, and they repeat lunch to dinner.

Fordele: I went with three other people. We were greeted wonderfully. The person at the reception desk was courteous, professional and friendly. My boyfriend and I had reserved a one bedroom suite as well as my friend and her boyfriend. We each received a two-bedroom suite. It was beautifully decorated and arranged. However, we were expecting them to include the exact same things since we did make the same reservations and we received the same suite type. My suite included a waffle maker and their room  did not. They had A POT,  My suite did not. My friends master bathroom's toilet was clogged. She called reception and they sent someone to fix it right away which is great, however that is not something anyone should have to deal with on my vacation. There was no tub in the master suite which is fine because we prefer showers. The shower had glass doors that didn't really close. when showering, a lot of the water would end up outside the shower so the floor was constantly wet. The bathrooms from both suites was missing the hand and face towels and when we asked, we were told they weren't available at that moment. Since we booked two separate rooms, we would constantly call each other through the resort phone in order, for example, to meet up in the morning for breakfast, etc. There was only one phone and it was located in the dining area. It was inconvenient especially during the mornings to have to get up from bed and walk out of the room to another area of the suite to answer the phone, one of those phone calls coming from reception. My friends suite was also missing an ironing board, My suite had it. When I did my research on the resort, it stated Wi-Fi was included. This is not the case. Yes there was free Wi-Fi in the common areas but the suite’s Wi-Fi had to be paid for. The resorts information should’ve stated ‘Limited Wi-Fi’ or ‘Free Wi-Fi in common areas’. On our first day we were exploring the hotel and unbeknownst to us, we walked into the area where guests are signed up for the VIP membership. We were treated rudely by one of the managers. With an attitude, he said that it was the VIP area and just looked at us, expecting for us to "get the hint" and leave. One bad experience like that pretty much dissuades a person from not only becoming a member but to never visit the resort again. The buffet food wasn't all too bad, it just needed more of a selection. There were two restaurants where we made reservations, Sushi and Italian. The Sushi restaurant was located in its own small place, the Italian was not. It was located in an area belonging to the buffet, which I felt was not very "exclusive". Being a "Boutique" resort, I imagined more attention to detail and better attitudes towards guests.

Ulemper: ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS TRIP WAS THAT IS IN BEAUTIFUL PUNTA CANAA BARTENDERS AND WAITERS WERE AMAZING *LIMITED  FREE WIFI (ONLY IN THE LOBBY  AND BEACH AREA NOT IN THE ROOMS ) *IF YOU'RE NOT VIP 1 BEACH BAR   *LOOK OUT  FOR NASTY MANAGEMENT  THAT WOULD GIVE U A BAD LOOK AND NASTY  ATTITUDE  IF NOT A VIP MEMBER

Ulemper: animation could be better

Fordele: The food was really good for the price paid. The room was really comfortable and the facilities were super clean. The staff was really nice and seemed to be willing to help all the time with a smile.

Ulemper: The saltiness of the water make it weird to brush your teeth but nothing that Can’t be solve with a water bottle. The tv didn’t work but in reality we didn’t have time to use it so didn’t bother us that much.

Ulemper: Hotel entrance is not good impression
