Close to a metro station and close to where I was conducting business. A bit pricey; big problem was that the hotel staff did not give me the receipt from registering my visa, and it caused me problems later when I moved to a different city and tried to register there - they wanted to see my registration receipt from the previous hotel. The second hotel had to contact the first to get a scanned copy of my registration receipt. Hotel Rossiya should make sure they follow up with every foreign guest and make sure they give them the registration receipt.
Not very far from airport; useful staff Lack of internet; extremally crowded restaurant during breakfast; lack of air-conditioning - summer night in the room was like being in sauna for 8 hours. You may find lodging of similar quality 30% cheaper.
Location was good for my visit, convenient to airport. One employee tried to be helpful but did not speak English. Her intent was good but not capable. No English speakers on duty most of the time. Money exchange not available at hotel. Change for use of internet in lobbly frequently not available at front desk and bar refused to make change. Carpet in room was filthy, in bad need of cleaning. Shower had mold in it. Sink stopped up. Computer in lobby has bad keys that frequently stick. Bed uncomfortable. Room was noisy.
Conveniet to bus station No AC and room too hot for sleeping.
The staff was very helpful. Some of them do not speak English but if there was need for translation; they always got someone to do so. The room and showers were very clean. The breakfast is poor. If all you need is some muesli and coffee, it's ok. But this is all that is there.
Clean rooms; quiet location; close to the metro station; very good ratio "value for money". Tasty food at hotel's cafe.
Visa registration only 100 Rubles! Very helpfull staff, even then not everyone speaks English. Common bathroom good. Close by metro to city centre, but the location was not so nice. They asked 800 additional Rubles to have the room in the morning (even then the rooms were available before the check in time).
The rooms are clean, the staff is helpful. The rooms are spacy. Everything is just fine, if we stop here next time, we'll definitely take a standart room, not econom-class. Location is a bit scary, but close enough to Frunzenskaya subway station. In econom-class rooms the facilities are outside the room, but really nextdoor, so it doesn't make such a problem.
Normal location.not so far from center It's old soviet dormitory for Tajikistan immigrants. For this price, its better take a room in Karelia or Azimut
No wireless internet, please change info in hotel description
quiet and good location of hotel small rooms, paid wi-fi (though the pro reservation has been written that it's free), lots of dust.
The location of the hotel is rather good. Not far from the subway station. There were no towels at all. There was not also wireless internet, although it was mentioned on the booking page of the hotel.
Nothing but hotel's location Room 328 was awfull. wardrobe was broken - its door was torn off and stood besides the wardrobe. Only one shower for the whole floor - located in men toilet.. Our twin room was not "twin room" inititally - there were four beds there. It looked like a cheapest room in a hostel. The windows of the room faced on very noisy road, and moreover the hotel was plenty of children - so it was impossible to sleep there.
