Fordele: What a delight! This is a great place to stay. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Happy hour, with complimentary drinks and snacks, is a great idea, where everyone congregates to meet one another. The homemade hummus and pita bread on 1 night and cheese and meats selection on another were a delight. Breakfasts were Devine with homemade blueberry pancakes & maple syrup, fresh home baked cakes and great sharing omelette. Beach passes along with beach chairs are supplied - what a great idea. What a lucky find! It we are visiting the area again, we will be sure to stay. Thank you for a great stay.

Fordele: Great location - a few minutes from the beach, with beach pass provided; very friendly and helpful staff; good breakfast - especially the fresh homemade cakes; free drinks and snacks in the evening. We will definitely be back for our next Tahoe vacation

Fordele: Everyone who worked there was super helpful, friendly and warm. They really do have a bed-and-breakfast attitude. Rooms are stylishly decorated and seem recently remodeled, and the bed was very comfortable. Robes were a nice touch! Breakfast room looks like a cute little cafe, and breakfast goodies were homemade and delicious. Great coffee. Happy hour with homemade appetizers in a pretty setting with a fountain is so welcoming that people actually hang out and talk to each other. Hot tub is well-maintained. Quiet street with redwoods is much nicer to come “home” to than a smoke-filled casino! Location is about halfway between the beach and the casinos.
Ulemper: Manage your expectations. You won’t have a room with a balcony or a view of the lake or a pool.

Fordele: Very nice place. Away from the main area but within easy walking distance down to the marina. Rooms were nice and good sized with an overhead fan and another fan in closet. Nice little outdoor patio with o bistro table and chairs overlooking the nice grassy grounds with hammocks, lawn games and a bbq area with 3 bbqs to use. The continental breakfast was great and a large gathering room with table to eat or play games. The gal on staff was super sweet and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Also dog friendly with no weight restrictions.

Fordele: The rooms have just been renevated. It's a small hotel. They were so nice. Actually called us to tell us the room was ready early. It is close to everything. The staff will help with recommendations from place to visit, things to do and yummy food, based on your preferences.
Ulemper: A nice bath mat would be appreciated on the stone floor. Hooks to hang up things in the bathroom. Another chair in the room would be nice.

Fordele: The room was nicely decorated and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and professional. Great location and beautiful grounds. The little "extras" made the place even better such as thick towels, name brand toilet paper, luxurious bath products, water and snacks, Keurig in the room with creamer and sweetener, etc.
Ulemper: We thought everything was pretty great. If I had one complaint, it would be that we didn't feel that the pillows were very comfortable but that could be a matter of preference.

We sat under the pines with a glass of wine while juice and crackers were served to the two children. The children identified this experience as much better than the house rented near Homewood! Top experience for hospitality!
Ulemper: Identified as a B&B, it was a bit more like a motel accommodation but all the hospitality of a B&B was present and accounted for - and deeply appreciated.

Fordele: My girlfriend and I had the best time here. The property is close to the town centre (10-15 min walk or less than 5 min drive) and to three of the best restaurants in South Lake Tahoe. Breakfast is simply amazing, with Linda making something new and fresh everyday. Don’t miss the happy hour between 5 and 6 pm and enjoy the company of Johan and Linda. Great, great, great. Bellissimo!

Fordele: You could tell staff went to a lot of trouble to make you feel at home.Rooms very clean and decorated cute. Rooms had everything we needed and some extra nice touches, like a bathrobe, hooks to hang coats on, a frig and microwave.
Ulemper: Some may find this ok, my husband and I found the beds way to soft! You latterly sunk down in. Also no type of air conditioning which we knew. Solved that problem by opening window and running ceiling fan. Cooled right down!

Fordele: Cleanliness, facilities were nice, we liked the hot tub the fire pit in the evening. Location was central to restaurants, lake and other amenities. We could just grab a scooter on the street to ride around in the area.
Ulemper: Although location was central to many amenities, restaurants and the lake, there was a concert near by that evening that went late and it was loud (we stayed a Saturday night). There was no closet in the room but for one night I guess it was fine.

Fordele: The manager or whomever the lady is, is the sweetest BEST hostess ever. Shes either super sweet or the best salesperson ever. Amazing. Location was solid and overall the room wasn't bas.
Ulemper: For the price, there were a few imperfections. The walls are pretty thin, so we could hear every foot step above us and around us. It was very hard to get a good night sleep. Our sink clogged a bit. No iron or ironing board.

Fordele: I think the thing I liked most was the location. While the Gondola portion of Heavenly is not my most favorite, staying at the villas is just so convienent. Once you park you never really have to leave. Supermarket is across the street, cinemas are on site, so many good restaurants are also on site, there’s so much to do within walking distance. It’s really what sold me.
Secondly, since there are so many nice places that offer the same close proximity of the gondola is the villa itself. We had plenty of room for our party of 7. We cooked most nights, then frequented the pool area. So relaxing. And very spacious. Not all accommodations can offer the room to stretch out with 7 persons in a room.
Ulemper: Maybe communications on what was going on activities wise. For instance I didn’t even know there was a ski check until the end of my stay, it could have made my stay so much easier by checking ski equipment rather than lugging it up to the room each day.

Fordele: The room we stayed in was very large - king bed and sleeper sofa, full kitchen with all utensils, dishwasher, oven, etc. Very comfortable bed and linens. Lovely view of the pool and fireside seating. Very clean large co-ed steam room great for detox. Staff excellent and helpful. Location is unbeatable - nestled right in Heavenly Village with restaurants, bars, and direct access to Heavenly Gondola.
Ulemper: Surprisingly no hotel bar or restaurant in hotel. There is a great breakfast cafe next to hotel, as well as bars and restaurants one minute walk away. But no night cap

Fordele: Suite was huge and very nice. Anything you could need, tool wise is stocked in the kitchen. 2 fireplaces! Parking is valet only, so be prepared for that, $29 per day. One fitness facility by the desk, so depending where you are, it can be a long walk. Seemed to have daily activities that were fun, and paid activities for kids if you have them.
Ulemper: A literal mile hike to our suite, more accessible elevators to the Bay side would be nice.

Fordele: The hotel was comfortable and well furnished with unique features such as heated flooring in the marble bathroom, a gas fireplace, and dual-head showers. Its location is literally steps from the shores of Lake Tahoe--most of the rooms have views--and walking distance to the shops, restaurants, and casinos was ideal. Check in and check out was swift and pleasant. Room service throughout the day--delivery staff were lovely--was wonderful and the restaurants menu was good overall and the cocktails are fantastic.
Ulemper: Sadly, hotel missed the small details hotels in their category usually do not miss. Upon check in, we were greeted and told that we would be escorted to our room but that staff member was interrupted by another pair and walked away to escort them all the way to the restaurant instead so we made our way to our room as we had limited time to get dinner and dressed before our evening event. Once in the room, walls were scuffed, carpets were dirty, an odd pill was on the carpet--eeek, and the makeup mirror's light didn't work. Sadly, the restaurant patio, while stunning at first glance, had random straws and picks strewn about the pavers and some chairs at the tables around ours had bits of food on them, which was odd.

Ashley went above and beyond to provide information about the area, suggestions of what to do and where to go , and made the whole experience very personal. The rooms have the amenities to make you comfortable, yet still retain that rustic feel, reminding that you are in a lake town. The evening s'mores added a sweet treat!

There wasn't food/bar service at the pool, which was a deterrent from coming back. We planned on spending lots of time at the pool, and ended up leaving the property often in order to find places to enjoy a romantic meal and conversation.

Ulemper: The room for luggage in the room was very limited as was the drawer space.... limited drawers. There was not even a luggage rack provided. We only had two large suitcases and even with that, it was difficult to find a space where you could easy access to your clothing on a daily basis. The closet space was decent for hanging purposes and placement of shoes, but you could not fit a large suitcase in the closet due to permanent racks. Also, the distance from our room to the lobby and main entrance was extensive...…… very long walk to and from.

Fordele: This property is a gem. The only downside is that it is an older property and is a bit worn. A little bit of refurbishment would help, especially the pool.. That said, we thought it was a wonderful place. The facilities and added touches were wonderful(i.e... fire bit, nice coffee in lounge. ) The staff was extremely helpful and nice. Most of all was the view from the room. The room had an amazing full front view of the lake, and wonderful balcony with comfy chairs. To get this kind of view, right on the lake, you would have to pay much more in any other property. The location was definitey the best.. Also, the room was extremely large with a nice full kitchen.. Would definitely recommend this property

Ulemper: 1) The carpet in the room looked quite clean. However, after a few minutes of playing on it, the knees of our baby became dark. I do not know if it is a carpet color or dirt, but it was hard to wash off. 2) Overpriced (as everything in Tahoe in summer). 3) The breakfast area is too small. I suggest adding more tables outside. The breakfast itself is average.

Ulemper: All was good; the hallways were a little dark, could use a spruce up, but it didn’t bother us at all. Just an FYI, the property is on the busy road. The buildings near the front are near enough to hear traffic noise, but not bothersome to us at all.

Ulemper: The bed in room 149 was so old and worn out it had two large valley's where you sleep (TRY TO SPLEEP). The toilet kept running because the stopper was worn out. I had to shut off water suply at night to sleep. If we coukld have ,(BAD BED). Two light bulbs were burned out in the room. We stayed two nights. We had to move to room 135 the second night and it had a good mattress. The toilet also had the same problem as room 149 but not as bad. I shut off the water again. We have stayed at the Postmarc on two other occasions and had no problems. We will return again for better times we hope!

We stayed three nights. No maid service was included. Trash not emptied. No towels. No bed service. This was policy, not an oversight. Weird floor plan. Giant jacuzzi bathtub in the middle of the room. No shower hot water at peak times due to inadequate hot water storage tanks. Breakfast awful. Tiny selection of grocery store quality pastry. We requested a room with a view. We were assigned a room with a view per the front desk. Our view: adjacent property's back yard and a cinder block wall.

Fordele: Min SIL var så imponeret over dette sted. Vi tænkte på den billige pris, vi ville blive i noget brutto og falde ned, men det var helt modsat. Værelserne er pæne og rene, personalet er fantastisk, og vi havde ingen idé om, hvor tæt de var på byen og søen. Vi gik til begge steder med små børn. Vi vil helt sikkert bo her igen. Havde en vidunderlig tid.

Fordele: Location, location and location. The motel/hotel is in the heart of Heavenly Village. Walking distance to everything, shops, restaurants, the beach and grocery store. Great $$ value, clean place and friendly staff.

Fordele: Bluelake is located right off the main tourist area so everything was convenient and we walked everywhere! The staff contacted me as soon as I booked and told me the handicap room was rented and what to expect in a regular room. So I was prepared for the things that were going to be a little more work.
Ulemper: The Inn was an older building. Although the room was clean and comfortable, the tub was painted and then peeling, made it sort of dingy. But the price was right and I had nothing more to complain about! More good than troublesome for the $.

Fordele: The whimsical camping theme was very fun! The live music, lights, and camp fires was such a joy for the kids and adults. The staff was nice enough to decorate the room for my daughter for her birthday and even put a gift together for her!
Ulemper: I was charged $100 for a duvet cover after I left that I did not take. However after emailing the manager it was taken care of promptly and professionally.

Fordele: Fantastic room,comfy beds, modern, industrial decor. Very clean. Live music each night but it finished at 10 then everywhere was quiet. We loved watching three raccoons from our balcony one evening.
Ulemper: Breakfast very basic. There is no lift so if you have heavy bags opt for the ground floor.Having said that the 2nf floor rooms are nicer with balconies.

Ulemper: Was not warned about the $75 deposit and this resulted in two pending payments on my card and then a 3rd appeared at check out. Only one cleared but I was still without that money as my bank held it as pending.

Fordele: The theme and vibe of the property was brilliant plenty of parking and the rooms were brilliant. Just ten minutes from the beach and ten minutes from the gondola.
Ulemper: We went in the summer so it was very hot whilst we was there the room didnt have air con so it was warm. We was supplied with a fan but it was really noisie.

Fordele: Smukt hotel have og værelse. Føltes meget rustikt, men alligevel varmt og behageligt. Prisen inkluderede faciliteter som i en 1-værelses lejlighed. Personalet var yderst venlige og hjælpsomme. Hundevenlig. Min hund satte pris på den behandling vi fik af personalet i receptionen!

Fordele: Receptionschefen er super uforskammet. Vores anmodning blev slet ikke hørt. Denne holdning til kunden er ikke nyttig. Den parkeringsplads, vi fik tildelt, var allerede taget. Internettets WiFi-service blev ved med at falde hvert 5. Minut.
Ulemper: Høflighed at lytte til kunden og finde en løsning. Bebrejde kunderne på en uforskammet måde. WiFi aldrig arbejder i mere end 5 min. Yahoo er tilgængelig, men google tjenester er ikke. Den tildelte parkeringsplads er allerede tildelt en anden.

Fordele: Fremragende beliggenhed, gåafstand fra strand og faciliteter.
Ulemper: Selv om værelset havde et fuldt udstyret køkken, havde det næsten ingen udstyr/redskaber og intet sted at sidde til måltiderne. Det ville kræve meget lidt investeringer for dem at forbedre dette. Vores værelse var på første sal, og vi kunne høre fodspor fra værelset ovenover. Heldigvis var vores naboer ovenpå stille!
Vi boede på dette hotel for 10 år siden, og forværringen var tydelig.

Fordele: Dette er vores andet ophold. Hotellets personale er meget venlige og villige til at hjælpe en hvilken som helst herregård. Hotellet var meget rent i betragtning af, at de tillader dyr. Ingen problemer med nogen skadedyr. Gåafstand til restauranter og søen.
Ulemper: Madrasser skal have en topkvalitet.

Ulemper: Actually received the most low level room in that hotel seemed due to online reservation. Lot noises from upstairs and neighbors. Did not receive beach access pass in the first day until we asked on second day afternoon.

Ulemper: My husband and I booked a pool side suit. But when we arrived there the front desk associate told us we were booked in a different room. And said that “there was nothing he could do for us” We were on our honeymoon and this ruined it. We were put in a tiny room with a tiny bath room. The rooms were loud. Maid service never gave us any new towels. I wish I never booked here. Now I will never get that time back for our honeymoon.

Fordele: Fantastisk beliggenhed og pris. Meget rent og den indendørs pool er fantastisk for børnene om vinteren. Gratis morgenmad var godt for hele familien. Perfekt værelse med kingsize-seng i soveværelset, skjul en seng i stuen til børn. To håndvaske på værelset gjorde det nemt for alle at komme klar om morgenen.
Ulemper: Stuen TV virkede ikke - de tilbød at sende nogen til at ordne det.
Mandag var morgenmaden meget overfyldt, og halvdelen af spisesalen var lukket, så vi var nødt til at vente nogle minutter på et åbent bord.

Fordele: Jeg elsker beliggenheden! Midt i det hele! Vi boede på 7. Etage, og det var meget stille, og min datter havde en fantastisk tid! Personalet var meget imødekommende og værelserne var meget rene.
Ulemper: Den gratis morgenmad er fantastisk, men pas på, når du tager afsted. De løb tør for skåle, hver gang jeg gik.

Fordele: Great location! Close to tons of restaurants, casinos, Stateline, and hiking trails. The lobby is very nice and has a large fireplace. Rooms are a little dated but very large with two TVs, a mini fridge, and microwave. Showers have great water pressure. Indoor pool and hot tub.
Ulemper: The man who checked us in was not friendly and left a bad first impression. The man who runs the valet parking however was hilarious and very helpful. Valet parking required at the hotel and they charge $19 per night. Took over 30 minutes to retrieve our car the day we checked out. The valet workers did their very best to hurry and get the cars, however obviously at checkout time is when they are busiest. I wouldn’t mind the wait if the valet was optional, however we were required to have it and if anything it was an inconvenience. Breakfast is “free” but not really because you pay a resort fee daily for decent food that I’ve had similar to at the Best Western. Also a long line for breakfast in the morning. WiFi was also included in the resort fee however it was terribly slow. Although there are great things about this hotel, overall I feel as if I didn’t get the value for my money. I would try other hotels along this strip because the location is great!

Ulemper: Did not like the additional hidden costs of "Hotel Fee" and requirement for $19 per night Valet Parking. Also, did not use the provided WiFi since our MacAfee told us it was unsecure and to immediately get out.

Fordele: Liked the breakfast choices. Room was great except none of the TV remotes were working. N carpet stained but other than that great stay n ideal for families.
Ulemper: No one greeted unless we asked a question or said hello. And also was double charged for stay which didn't clear until I called. They assured me it would go off my card in a cpl days but actually went thru as a transaction. Therefore was charged by bank nsf fee. Luckily my bank waived it but it was an inconvenient process.
