It all looked well taken care of and I enjoyed my stay for that night. We didn't have any hot water in the evening OR in the morning.
Within walking distance of where i had to be.
quietness at nigth, enabled a good nigths sleep. poor parking facilities ( parking in surrounding streets )
Easy parking, pleasant staff, reasonable location if you have a car but inconvenient if you are on fott General standard of the room was terrible. Shower screen missing, hair dryer broken, most light bulbs not working, old food wrappers from previous guests left under the bed, no airco, overlooking neighbours toilet, water stained walls and peeling wallpaper. Generally very shabby and looking very very tired
Very helpful to foreign guests. Eager to help. Needs to update the wireless internet system.
location service very poor hotel very tired - stayed there about 2 years ago and it was good.
big room, wifi, parking, breakfast no coffee maker in the room, the heating to low
Room clean and comfortable, breakfast good Difficult to find, rather a lot of traffic noise
There was one working, she was nice, but had to do everything, Check-In, the Bar, Check out, the Breakfast. a bit much for just the one ! The room, was pretty run down and in need of a refurb. Large stains on the walls, ceiling and carpets. Bathroom was ok.
The staff were very helpful and friendly
Roddy, the owner, could not have been more attentive. The welcome was first class and nothing was too much trouble. The lounge area is spectacular and is really comfortable whilst still retaining an intimate atmosphere The bathroom was very compact--it is ,after all, a boat, but a solid ,rather than folding door would have been nicer and a single wash basin would give a little more space
Slept very well due to small movements of the ship and the quiet surroundings Difficulty finding the Marjorie II with the supplied directions
The converted canal boat made staying in Antwerp unique, the breakfast was excellent as was the service. We felt most welcomed and very comfortable. Waking up to see the fog on the water was amazing. Nothing - it was perfect!
The "hotel" is actually a cruising canal barge & is used as a B&B when not cruising. Absolutely superb with 6 double cabins. The whole ship is beatifully restored in wood panelling throughout & well furnished. The fact that I was only staying for the one night!
