The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, and the staff is exceedingly friendly and helpful... and their English is very good. The breakfast buffet is pricey, but incredibly diverse, fresh, well presented, and delicious. The internet here was also the most reliable and fast that I experienced during my two week trip to three cities in China.
The hotel is quite classy, and it is clear a lot of effort has been put to making it a 4-star hotel. The constant heating in the room that you cannot switch off, the provision of only 2 water bottles, and the extremely noisy daytime construction at the time (which I found out only when I had entered my room.
Good room. Free, fast, internet. Helpful concierge who gave unbiased advice. Extortionate cost (£15) of breakfast which was not exceptional and not included in room rate. Very high cost for printing (£1 per page) in business centre.
Very nice area and comfortable rooms The hotel staff can not speak English well
The location is very good, almost close to evergthing I can think of. The guy named Peter in concierge dept. is really nice and helpful. I think the value and the size of the room is not at the same level. And you can only use the sauna from five pm. to ten thirty pm.,that's really inconvenient.
the stuff is very good and speak english good and was ver helpful the laundry is expensive and the smill near hotel is not good and no wifi is not available in rooms
The staff were all absolutely delightful. Especially helpful in a situation where a friend got very sick while sightseeing near my hotel.
I stayed on this hotel for 7 nights. I chose it because it was close to our Beijing office. The hotel looks relatively new. I got a nice room, with a decent view. The service is good, and the breakfast bar has nice but limited selection of western and Chinese food. On the downside, there don't seem to be too many taxi drivers who know where it is.
Excellent location close to the metro station. Luxurious room, excellent value for money. breakfast was ok but too expensive for what was offered.
The loft room was spacious and clean, quiet too. Its closeness to the subway station adds some point. I had some issues with my reservation and I had to contact booking.com and hotel back and forth several times. Hotel staff never contacted me even when they said they would. But the issue was resolved eventually, with the help of booking.com.
Spacios rooms, room facilities, the pool, the internet access English was poor with some of the stuff, breakfast could have been richer
It was comfortable, and spacious room. The breakfast was appalling and we were charged for parking when we thought it was free.
Excellent, helpful staff members. Go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Rooms are well kept and clean. Easy access to subway. Overall condition of the hotel is exceptional. Would recommend the hotel to anyone. Weather was warm and air conditioning was not available or did not work. It made the stay at the hotel less comfortable than my previous stays at the hotel.
It was quiet and decent for a short stay! The pricing is double than what I thought. They billed me before I went and before I checked in. I was not happy.
Friendly staff. Towels are changed daily, linen for three days stay in my opinion not changed. Near metro station (about 800 m), bus stop, if necessary, the staff helps to call a taxi. Good price-performance ratio, if necessary sleep-rest between walks in the city, provided that is not presented to the hotel's very high standards. Is not always available to English-speaking staff. Single and double rooms are quite small.
The staff was very patient, helpful and very nice. The location is good, near subway station. The room had a window, but not to outside, to the corridor. The heating was on continously and couldn't be turned down, the room had to be cooled with the airconditioning
I like the staff, facilities easy to use poor english, complicated accounting
The room was overly comfortable. The staff were helpful when I asked for another room because the first was near the elevator, which caused a lot of noise. The location was not ideal. Taxi drivers had a hard time finding it, and it is 15-20 min. away from the nearest subway station.
Really reasonable, less basic than expected for the price.
Located around 1km from the nearest metro station (10yuan taxi ride) this hotel in not a bad choice for someone on tight budget. Stayed 8 nights in June 2010 and it was pretty comfortable. AC in the room, cleaned every day. Buffet breakfast for 10yuan.I recommend it.
The hotel is located not too far from the subway and so a pleasant stay for a visit too Beijing (city trip). Although the comfort is no more than fair, the hotel is certainly good with respect to the price. Some of the hotel employees speak some English, sufficient to communicate and make things clear.
Very good value. I paid RMB 400 ($60) but it was advertising rooms at RMB285. It's a very big Chinese hotel in the university district, used by academics, foreign (African, Asian) students and local business people, not European business men. It has 9 separate wings with different standard rooms. Most staff don't speak English, and you need a taxi or metro (station 500m away, about 1 hr ride to the centre including a long walk interchange) to get anywhere other than the university. Breakfast is a crush, and the European offering limited (but eggs and bacon OK).
I liked leaving this awful place. Swimming pool is chargable, took 3 hours to check us into a room, At 1st they offered us a dredful damp box with no window when we had booked the 4 star section. After much complaining and pretending not to speak english we got to speak to a manager who apologised and put us in the proper 4 star room complete with plank to sleep on and as compensation for wasting our day they gave us.... Free breakfast for one when there were 2 of us staying. Plus this hotel is not in a good location for anywhere. Stay elsewhere, everyone we met here hated it.
The staff is friendly and service minded. There are plenty of facilities at the hotel compound, such as shops, restaurants and a swimming pool. The staff at this hotel does not speak English, so I am not sure that I would advice anyone who does not speak Chinese to stay there. Apart from that, I think it is great value for money if you need to be in this part of town.
The hotel staff is really nice and dependable. The room was big enough, comfortable and clean. We never had any problems. The room save box is big enough for a laptop and many other small gadgets and easy to use. This hotel is at walking distance of a shopping mall and a metro station. And there are also a few restaurants in the street and food carts with fruits, breakfast, or skewed meat, depending on the time of the day. Also is not too hard to get a taxi. And I found an atm that accepted my debit card, also at walking distance. Great hotel for the money, I would definitely stay there again. The only thing I can mention is that there hotel was under construction at the time of our stay. So the main entrance was closed and taxis could not get all the way in. Didn't bother us at all. Also, there was some noise in the room above us, sounded like they were remodeling or something. But they never made any noise at night or morning, and since we spent most of the day out we didn't even notice. Anyway, the sound was not loud at all.
It was very quiet. We wanted to check out early and they wouldn't let us. they said that we needed to do that online.
We liked its location. It is located near to the Tsingua University where we had business. The receptionists were always busy. We could not find any chance to ask them anything. The carpet in the room was dirty. The towels were very thin that they would get wet too quickly.
The hotel is relatively close to Tsinghua University (about 20 minutes walk to the East Gate). The room was was of an adequate standard. Breakfast was decent and inexpensive (30 rmb). Despite having a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door, I received a phonecall from a cleaner trying to service my room. I ate in the hotel one evening and was disappointed by the food.
Although the staff had limited English, they were always more than helpful to meet our requirements. We had many provisions included in our room stay which made our stay much more comfortable, since we stayed 1 month. (ie toothbrushes, fruit, water, paper, shampoo, hand cream etc). We had a constant clunking noise all night each night from the pipes in the roof in our bathroom. We closed the bathroom door but it was still distracting and annoying. Sometimes the fact that the staff could speak little English became difficult, but just challenged our use of Chinese. Any small problems we encountered were really nothing compared to the hard work of the staff and our clean well-cared for room.
its good and comfortable place. some staff couldnt speak English.
Michael og hans personale gjorde alt for at man skulle føle sig hjemme og ydede en fremragende service med at arrangere udflugter, restaurentbesøg, massage etc. Til prisen overgåes det ikke.
Hyggeligt meget rent hotel. De ansatte gjorde alt for at opholdet blev rart. Billigt. Småt men godt. Billigere drikkevarer.
Sjældent at man rejser så langt, bor på hotel og føler sig så velkommen! Utrolig hjælpsomt personale, fremragende service og fantastisk ro på stedet. Afgjort et hotel jeg ville bo på næste gang i Beijing.
