Bedste placering i Istanbul.
personnel very friendly price of drinks
the open area to the sea ,comfartable area no
Becous it is Sheraton :)
i like the location and every thing in this hotel. no
Overall, good although a little expensive. Will consider an alternative hotel next time. Internet service. Although I paid for it, the web access was down for over 2 hours and I therfore missed connection. Had to pay twice.
I liked the location of the Hotel, the room was excellent, the staff very helpful and friendly. No
The location. The view. Close to 3 malls and shopping streets. Housekeeping. Amneties.
It was really quite and comfortable staying @ Sheraton Hotel.
Great location (Marina, Shopping center). 10 min from Airport by taxi (6 EUR). Pools, gym and spa brand new and clean. Expensive (international standards)
I ve chosen this Hotel for the swimming pool since I was travelling with my small kids. Very nice seafront view and infrastructures indeed. The staff is very professionnal and helpful. They were really nice. Very good level of service and nice food.
the view was excellent also the location of the hotel was perfect nothing in special
5 of 5 starsReviewed 1 week ago Our trip in Istanbul was for 6 days, and the idea was to find a hotel with an outdoor pool, to be able to get away from the hustle & bustle and chill out every once in a while. I’ve found that most hotels with pool have indoor pools and Hamam's....which is nice… of course... but in the summer heat, an outdoor pool is more what we need... Some of the high end expensive Hotels seem to have it but we didn't want to spend hundreds of $$$ per night... Anyway, I’ve found and booked the Marmara Pera and wasn't totally sure what to expect. Here our impressions: Perfect location in an upscale neighborhood, 1 minute from the famous walking street Istiklal, between Taksim square and Galata Tower. The building is the tallest on that hill and it gets you the most stunning views without any obstructions whatsoever. We stayed in room 901 and had a fantastic view over the city and river. Best of all was the sunset because the sun would go down right in the center of the window...absolutely beautfiful. The pool on the roof is not big but it doesn't matter because you are overlooking Bosporus river, the old town, the blue mosque, the whole shebang. You can overlook all directions from the Rooftop and again, you are on the tallest building around, so no obstructions. Very friendly & English speaking staff, easy check in Nice Amenities in the room Power outlets that keep charging your devices even when not in the room and key card removed from the main power switch. Our local friend mentioned that the restaurant on the Rooftop is excellent but we never actually ate there. Not sure if the hotel prices were lowered because it happened to be Ramadan or maybe because tourists bought into the terror scare that is rampant ever since 9/11 and stayed away... but we've only paid $80 per night for that room with the sunset view. Btw, there is a metal detector and 24h security at the entrance. I've visited Istanbul before and I think having a view and a central location is really making all the difference. I will come back here and stay in this very hotel. One last thing: download the App called BiTaksi and link it with your credit card. It's like UBER but it's what the locals use over here. I started already at the airport and never waited more than 4 minutes for a Taxi. This way, we’ve never had to hackle for price, got rejected because of the destination, or worse...got scammed when paying in cash... and believe me.... Taxi stories were my worst experience on my previous trips to Istanbul. Love Istanbul, don't get discouraged, help yourself, use technology and Apps to make the most of your trip. Stay open minded, be friendly, stay cool and you will get great things in return. Nothing at all!
good hotel staff, professional no
the Location in Taksim area evry thing is fine
Pool on the roof.
rooms are small and not really comfortable do not value for 150 euro small size beds.
Fantastic Location and not so busy!
The location for shopping cannot be better few meters from Istiklal Str. and 5min to Taqsem Square. Only the cleanness of the room was not up to that level.
I like the location. The hotel is in the city center. Room has a nice view. The most importantly, I like the people who works at the hotel. People are so kind and friendly. I recommend that you listen their advices about where to go to eat and go out. They know the best restaurants and the places..
well english speaking staff towel were old, extremely noisy at night time. and also bed's sheet were a bit smelly. in general we spend our worth night in this hotel, because we couldn't sleep up to 2;30 at night.
nice hotel we feel comfort, near to one of the famous shopping street, nice view, and it is easy to go to every where in Istanbul nothing at all
Great view and great staff. Overall I loved it.
Great view! Exelent location with amazing rooftop and coctails , central ... great choice best view than the galata tower Gym too small
Location Rooms were too hot!! Airco was only able to heat-up the room, no cooling, with a temperature between 24-27, extremely warm and not good to have a good night sleep
easy access from the Ataturk airport+ reasonable price No, but I only stayed 1 night and didn't try the restaurant
Very poor internet connection, difficult for business travel if you cannot rely on that
Not very good value for money!
location- next to airport smelly room (Cigarets- even though you are not entitled to smoke)
The Business Suites are great. They surpassed all our expectations, especially in bang for buck! I'm not sure what the normal rooms are like though..... Food/Room service is very ordinary and overpriced for the lack of quality or effort expected!
Closeness to the airport, comfort, bar and restuarant, wi fi free and the general feel of being confortable nothing
Your Reception staff Ozgou and Aykut have been very cooperative. They make a perfect hospitality professionals. thanks dears Though the signage shows that hotel is under renovation, those areas could have been kept covered. We really got scarred while being allocated a superior room amidst the vacant creepy rooms and hence we opted for astandard room ( no money refunded). The cleanliness - Carpets all over needs to be immediately changed as this would reflect on the image of the hotel. Laundry should be enhanced as towels are stained. Rest everything is fine
The stAFF care for the customer
Close to airport and free shuttle. Nice and modern. Breakfast was awful. They charged us $50 for a buffet-style breakfast. My husband had some eggs and I had a bowl of fruit--that's it. We thought it was just included in the hotel fare until they gave us the bill, but it was too late to do anything about it.
hotel staff seemed very helpfull, not many speaking english but seemed very friendly. clean, modern hotel & very close to the airport & a shopping-center. good size rooms. excellent food served there was a cock-up when checking in but it was all sorted out
Perfect place if you want to catch early plane in Istanbul. Staff are nice and the room is not a small one. Perfect airport view from my room. I could hardly hear any noise even if the hotel is near to the airport.
Room Service was excellent and the location is perfect
Hotel staff were very friendly Food from room service was very bad.Did not taste fresh at all. wi fi should be free.
10mins walk to Taksim square, good facilities, quite and classy Some staff were not as welcoming or friendly as you would expect in a 5 star hotel
The booking was not known to the hotel staff.
Very nice hotel, great view for the fireworks, very friendly staff, convenient for the conference center located just beside
The size of the room. The view and the pool The hotel is old needs renovation
The hotel was in a great location. Food was wonderful. The staff were friendly; however, the staff in the Izmir Hilton were friendlier. The room and hallways smelled of smoke despite the no smoking signs.
Best Location, very near from Taksim Street , vary nice rooms and all the staff speak good english. Simply i had very good time. i can not remember any thin bad about Hilton istanbul.
We liked the closeness to the centre of Istanbul Old televisions in use. I stayed at Holiday Inn for my first night. Accommodation far superior.
the sea view was perfect also the restaurants was very much clean and beatiful I did not like the room , they gave me garden room in the mezzaneen floor ,the last thing I was expecting to stay in mezzaneen floor at hilton , it was very deficult to change the room , that is why I advise every body likes to have sea veiw to ask that before reach to the hotel , also there were no hot water in the bath room and air conditioning was not working propeply
comfort and quiet of my room Breakfast too expensive for those who eat lightly.
The location, roof top terrace has stunning views, excellent music and friendly staff. Breakfast had a fantastic choice of foods. All staff were very helpful. Meze resturant food should be more rustic and more like a traditional Meze, though the food was tasty. I thought wine was a little expensive, or have a more varied price list.
Breakfast buffet was the same for 5 days .. Location is not near Taksim square (you need a taxi for tl 12)
It was an amazing stay. Superb attention to detail, breakfast was amazing.
Not on the expected level
good facilities, although indoor pool was closed for renovations. View from bar on 14th floor is spectacular, although so are the prices at +-E10 for a local beer. Staff throughout the hotel were super. Location is too far out from the centre. None of the mains attractions are within walking distance apart from the ferry terminals.Restauraunt prices and poolside prices are verty expensive.
The Scenery From My Room and From the Summit Bar @ 14th Floor 1- Food was not good. 2- It is far from the sites you need to visit in Istanbul
The view from Top Bar Roof Terrace No transfer to and from airport. No breakfast included in price
Good location close to city, quiet environment, bosphorus view in some rooms No free wifi and extremely high charges to have access, rooms needs refurb to compete in the five star class
Luxury hotel, great service, superb location, excellent breakfast buffet
nice hotel the smell of the hall and the reception area and the monet resturant when they serve the beakfast it smells like kitchen and when you get out trhe smell is still in your clothes!!
Staff very helpfull Everything perfect
Luxury hotel, great location, greatest view on the Bosphorus. I got a great deal moneywise as well.
Excelant location , clean, quaite, Price of the hotel , no promotins
Great Stafd very helpful with giving advice and arranging transportation. Great Turkish Bath, hot tub and steam room
looking to the bridge and ortakoy camii room's bathroom
the landscape from the window! the rooom was too small and hasn t balcony!
The view at the Bosphorus from the terrace of the hotel. Due to the traffic it's very hard to reach the hotel between 3 and 6 pm. It took us several times about 2 hours to get from downtown (blue Mosk, topaki palace, bazaar, etc) back at the hotel.
There were a few mixups with staff not understanding room service/bar order
Nice location directly on the Bosphorus in Ortakoy - great night life in the neighborrough
room design and bath cleaneness. iam thankful to the hotel since they upgraded me to better rooms ( coonecting rooms) no swimming pools.
Very close to Bosphorous and lively cafe, restaurant, street market area. Good breakfast. Small room. Long way to airport. Traffic sometimes came to a standstill outside.
the coolness of the ambient
the area around hotel. small room... little expensive 120 euro for a night
the Location and the fact that for one specific incident they went beyond the call of duty to help me out. Although the staff was willing to be helpful they were not very specific on how to use public transportation or even give more specific instructions on how to get somewhere like the postoffice..
Nice hotel in the center of city and close to everything.
Location, hotel's design.
very good location
They don't do what they promise. Pets are not allowed. Parking is not free. Restaurant service is slow
the location of the hotel is so good, near to the Metro and also near to Sultan Ahmed area.
Perfect location, Good quality roof restaurant At the breakfast you have to pay additional fee if you want to have fresh juice or espresso or omelette. The Wi-Fi internet is free, but with very poor quality!
Employees were friendly, location was perfect for a weekend of sight-seeing and the room was also good considering that we just needed a comfortable place to sleep. Drinks in the bar are slightly overpriced.
Right in the middle of the torist part of Istanbul easy to walk to all of the main attractions, eating places and shops, a great time was had by all of our party. Had to pay extra for real orange juice at breakfast.
Location The room was not user-friendly. It looked like a party hotel designed for vary young people.
Rooms were nicely decorated and had many automated features. NOISE level was unbearable, I couldn't sleep all night due to SUPER LOUD music followed by a fight right outside my window. I ended up going to sleep around 6:00am. TV was nicely mounted on the wall, but hidden behind glass which made it unviewable; also TV size is too small for the room size, can't really see much from the bed. No breakfast facility on location.
Excellent concierge service, design, lovely spacious rooms, attention to detail (maids turn the pillow during turndown from "Welcome" to "Sweet dreams" :-) bar and restaurant, terrific breakfast, location. Average reception staff: they charged (not just authorized) my credit card on check-in without asking for my consent and for higher amount than the accomodation costs were. The overcharged amount (not much but still...) was given me back on check-out in turkish lira, hardly needed on your way out of the country. Not a disaster but surprising.
The beds were amazingly comfortable, and the staff very friendly. Lobby was nice to sit in and relax after a hard day of sightseeing, and the free coffee was always welcome. I felt that the rooms were a little bit dark, and in fact the whole hotel was sub-optimally lit.
Breakfast was great! Location was great and so was cleanliness!
Modern Terrible terrible terrible view , extermly dark , modern design but not soo good. verrry dark again and dull, over-priced for a hotel with no view whatsoever.
I mostly liked everything
Location and design of the hotel and friendly staff. A minor thing, but the cleaning crew was a little noisy and you can hear them in other rooms next to you.
We nice hotel. Brand new, clean, nice staff. You will be charged for everything in the hotel except for the room (e.g. breakfast, bottle of water next to bed, etc.). Prices for the additional items are high (breakfast = app. EUR 25, bottle of water/coke = EUR 6)
all staff were very helpfull and easy to communicate with them in english quick survice bathroom area wasnt that comfortable, shower only with out a bathtop wasnt enough.
I'd like stile and romantic design of hotel breakfast was so pour
The W Istanbul is centrally located on the European side in Istanbul, with several shops and restaurants just around the corner, Nisantasi is also a short 10 minute walk away (exquisite shopping). Vogue, a rooftop restaurant and bar, is also a short 2 minute walk away. The hotel is clean, trendy and very comfortable. The staff is very helpful and service was excellent (sans the mini-bar items that I never used finding their way onto my check-out bill, which the staff swiftly removed). Would highly recommend the hotel to any solo travelers or couples. I would have liked for there to have been a salon and for the gym to have offered yoga classes (or any other sort of fitness class).
Everything was class act. Staff, luggage storage, room, cleanliness. Gym
Our hotel was large and spacious with nice view and one of the best bathrooms I have seen in a hotel yet... Completely recommend.
Location, Services , Landscape, hospitality, Gym , rooms, food
Very nice spread for breakfast and lunch. I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Istanbul for business. Upon arriving at the hotel, I learned that the hotel had incorrectly booked my reservation for two extra days at the business rate (I had booked 2 days at a lower rate, as I would be staying for leisure and did not want to pay the higher rate paid by my employer). Rather than fixing this, I was told to deal with it with my agency, even though I had a copy of the email confirming the length of my stay. For a 5-star hotel, this is an okay option--nothing special compared to others in the city. Most of their hotel staff are nice, but many (especially reservation and reception staff) are fairly complacent and could use a refresher on etiquette and courtesy.
Personalet ;(
Location was great and staff was friendly and helpful. Value was great also.
location they don't have terrasse
the thing we liked the most is the location and the price with a clam room decoration the staff was realy very friendly
close to the historical sites
Good position>frendly staff
The family room was large enough and well situated in Sultanamet
Too much communication between the rooms
The location and also the breakfast. Our room was the cheapest one, so be ready to stay next to the elevator and no view at all since there's another house next to the window.
its location is excellent. except of trying to charge us for more about picking up from the airport everything was fine.
the room was quiet, nice view,.. we were on the last floor, all the smoking coming from downstairs cumulated in our place.. maybe an open window in the stairs would help..
Very nice hotel It was away from tourist area of old town. But that was not nessessary a bad thing
It might not be brand new but with an unbeatable location next to Taksim square and splendid views of the Bosphorus from almost every room as I found out, this is the best value for a luxury stay in Istanbul. The breakfast is vast, the staff incredibly attentive and courteus and it has one of the best gyms I'vê ever seen at hotels around the world. Highly recommend it Maybe the room furniture is a bit old world style but of good quality
Location is excellent, staff are friendly and helpful, rooms of good size, all amenties are available, resteaurants and food is good. Price is a bit in the high side.
our room view
It's Location. Air Conditions.
The view is great, specially on the high floors. Valet parking is convinient. Location is great for those who like busy life day and night that area does not sleep The club intercontinental does not offer much, there is no all day refreshments like other executive floors in other hotels.
The room had a lovely view. The person on the enquiries desk was extremely helpful in assisting us in finding a restaurant and booking it for us. I thought the room was a bit small for a deluxe room. I also did not like the fact that they did not have slippers in the room.
Well located and spacious. It is definitively an aging hotel. Was on the 1st floor and the hallway and rooms smelled like smoke even if it was non-smoking.
hotel has good location , staff very polite and helpful , speaking perfect english we didnt like the hotel room , it needs renovation , really very old , stains everywhere at bathroom ,we stayed only first night out of 3 .
One of the best None
The Spa with Haman was fantastic. The staff was very professional. The restaurant recomendation from the Concierge to a restaurant also on the hotels website. It was very touristy and not level expected. Would have preferred that the hotel had a buffet at dinner.
Everything was great.Rooms spacious and always clean .The service for the rooms was 3 or 4 times a day and continuous supply of water(free). Reception staff friendly and helpful. An excellent choice for our 5day trip to Istanbul. The shopping center only a few minutes walking away. Although they had been notified for our late afternoon arrival one of the two rooms took one hour to get ready.
I have travelled to Istanbul several times on business and have stayed in different hotels. But when I decided take my wife for a short break, I decided to stay in Sultanahmet, which is the historical centre of Istanbul and walking distance from most of the tourist attractions. I did the usual initial internet research and Obelisk Best Western pictures looked good, being recently refurbished. After speaking to Mehmet in reservation and due to his warm manner, we booked in for three days. Throught our stay, we had an excellent service and the cleanliness of the hotel to be admired. The icing on the cake was, when a left behind book was posted to my London office! In summary... Excellent hotel at perfect location with admirable service, A perfect holiday...
Great location .. Friendly staff.. That was the first time I visited to Istanbul. And It was amazing. Hotel is located just a short walk from historical places. And also foods were too delicious..
Service from staff was good and it is easy access to Blue Mosque and Aya Sophia. We visited there in mid-Oct and it was raining and cold, but heating system in the room was very good. Breakfast starts too late (from 7:30AM) and the room was not very sound-proof and it was quite noisy when people were talking or walking in the corridor.
Very good location in a touristic area. Decent rooms, decent breakfast, free wifi. Rooms are outdated, it is not 4*, maximum 3*.
A little gem in the heart of Istanbul. Perfect location, good food and excellent service. Rooms were well equipped and have free wi-fi. The staff and welcome was excellent. If you are in Istanbul then use this hotel. Yoou will not be disappointed.
Welcomed at the airport to be driven to the hotel especially great when flying overnight and such a long flight at that. Large room with one double and one single bed. The most comfortable bed ever! Very nice young man at the desk but the girl the next day had no personality. Good breakfast and great to use the internet.
Competent English speaking staff on reception and in the restaurant. Breakfast was extensive and regularly topped up throughout the 2 hour period with freshly made food. Ensuring that whatever time you went to breakfast the food was plentiful and fresh. Also pleasing that the roof top terrace restaurant/bar is open all day. Many hotels in the vicinity close theirs up after breakfast which is a great shame when one of their main attractions is that they have a roof top terrace to see the spectacular & unique views of Istanbul. Although a quiet location, it is central, well lit with a selection of restaurants literally 1 minutes walk. I requested a Twin Room when booking with Booking.Com specifically stating it was my mother and I sharing a room. On arrival we were given a Double. The hotel showed me the reservation by Booking.Com and this information had not been conveyed to them. The hotel was full and was unable to do anything that night. In the morning the hotel arranged for a room that met our original booking requirements. Whilst disappointing and upsetting to arrive to this situation after a long days travelling we were pleased with the way in which the hotel dealt with the matter.
We were upgraded to a spacious stylish suite, excellent bed and shower. Breakfast area at the roof offfers an amazing view at Bosphorus. Location of the hotel is superb. Breakfast isn't impressive, same everyday and pity that they don't serve fresh coffee.
The hotel was clean and well located, very close to all the touristic sites.
This is a quaint, small boutique hotel in the historic Sultanamit area of Istanbul right opposite the blue mosque. Location is perfect for those interested in the historic attractions of the city. Although a fairly basic establishment, service is friendly and efficient with clean rooms. There is a Turkish Bath and I can recommend it for facilities. Restaurant has wonderful view. I have stayed here twice and have enjoyed a different experience.
