Location, close to the city bus terminal and connections to the airport - Brindisi.
The fact that it had a swimming pool & it was near the town Centre. Very hard beds & staff who did not appear cheerful or particularly willing to help.
quality of room was excellent and a good location within walking distance of main cultural centre of town. In high season when open I am sure patio and pool area will be a bonus. Staff were very helpful thorughout and the evening meal at 22 euros for 2 courses of very high quality was also good value. hotel had unusual 3 small round pin electrical sockets so none of our two pin adaptors fitted and hotel could not provide anything. This was solved with a quick trip to the local supermarket but perhaps hotel could keep a larger stock of adapters available for guest use as they ounly cost around 2 euros from supermarket.
Everything really: cleanliness of rooms and hotel, breakfast facilities, staff, new restaurant arrangments i.e. outside, polite staff, swimming pool facilities etc and its situation Everything was fine this year, but several years ago we did have a problem when the air conditioning in our room stopped at 11.00pm until approx 6.00am. To have full ac facilities we were told we would have to move to a more expensive room. At the time we had booked a standard double room. This now makes me nervous whenever I book the hotel, in case this happens again.
Large, beautifully designed modern room that was well equipped, fabulous swimming pool & terrace plus spacious, comfortable entrance lounge plus very helpful reception staff. All helped to provide a relaxing stay within easy walking distance of Lecce. They were unable to provide a separate bed for our 7 year old, in our room - only able to offer a travel cot.
Staff are excellent, friendly and polite
Lovely restaurant, excellent food. Helpful staff. Good location for visiting historic centre of town. Good car parking facilities. The swimming pool was very welcome after a busy day sightseeing.
professional hotel staff , sumptuous breakfast. Nothing
Easy to find and relatively easy to walk to the main attractions Would have been better if we had stayed more in the center of Lecce
Excellent service and information from the front desk Although the food in the restaurant was good, the ambiance was terrible. Noisy with a business event. No outside dining inspite of invitingly high temperatures
Great location. Nice size rooms and lovely bath. Had Sky TV. Close to restaurants and local sites. Valet parking for rental car and helpful staff.
Excellent staff. Timeless, classic feel. Position can't be bettered. Good restaurant, well-appointed rooms. We extended our stay.
The location was excellent and so was the food. My room lacked air and light. The front desk staff was not helpful or pleasant.
Location. Staff very helpful
Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly, helpful staff.
Very helpful staff No
Friendly, polite, friendly staff and the location for visiting Lecce was perfect Nope
very friendly personnel, nice room with a little terrace looking upon the santa croce
The staff were very nice and helped us every time we needed help. The service was good and the location in the city were nice.
The hotel has no transfer to the hotel so you walk with your bags from the stationThe staff was very nice there. breakfast in the morning is a zoo. lots of people and lots of staff and choas...no seats
Services by the personnel. No
The girl that was in reception ,was so nice and helpful, the location was so good, near many beautiful places... The breakfast was same all days and not contain any hot meal...
the room as very large and confortable
To be honest 4 star hotels usually offer more services.
Hotellets smagfulde indretning havde en afsmittende effekt på såvel personalets ildhu for at "care", som køkkenets anstrengelser for at tilberede maden, så denne er bedst.
Atmosfæren enestående Morgenbordet beskedent
Spændende hotel smagfuldt indrettet i historiske rammer. Yderst imødekommende og serviceminded personale.
Fantastisk dejligt og spændende hotel (dvs. B&B).
Meget central beliggenhed i Lecce. Fantastisk morgenbord. nej
Front Office Reception, excellent. We left spectacles behind and found it no problem to have them forwarded by courier.
Very comfortable, laundry room very usefull, free parking , good gym and pool. At no time was I advised that the hotel would try to charge me E20 per day for my dog to stay. There is no mention of this on web site for Booking.com At check in and during stay no mention was made of extra charge for dog to stay.Eventualy manageress allowed me to check out when I repeatedly refused to pay the additional charge demanded of E60 for a 43 night stay.No damage was created by my dog.
Service at the hotel was the best I have had in Italy. The facilities here are excellent, 24 hour gym and there is a 24 self service laundry (very handy if you want to wash your swim gear), free parking and comfortable beds. Everyone speaks english and they reccomended a pizza place called Zio Giglio, just around the corner of the hotel which was one of the best's pizzas I've had in Italy (Order the Bufalina pizza, simple yet tasty!). There is a roof top pool but a short drive away are some of the nicest beaches. Rooms are excellent with tea and coffee making facilities and international channels. Just a 20 minute to the city, one of the best hotels I've stayed in for Italy, PERFECT!
Helpful staff and a great room. Lovely pool area although disappointed that the pool closed at 18.30 every day. A bit of a trek (15-20 mins walk) in to the old town but good for walking down dinner! The pool closed at 18.30 every day -far too early in my opinion.
Very nice pool and surrounds. Difficult to get taxis which were very expensive
The hotel is very well-situated and the historical centre is easily accessible on foot.
Poor breakfast. When arrived at 9h57 the owner closed the door on our face and locked the breakfast room. (8-10).
security, cleanliness, near to train station, within walking distance to city centre, privacy observed, shower water is trickling only with heat on and off while bathing, better lighting for reading, otherwise everything ok.Suggest to have a small fridge/small microwave oven , some cups and forks and spoons at the common hall for us to store and drink cold water/cocacola in hot summer and warm food for dinner as food in Lecce is very limited in choice/selection. Also have at least one english speaking staff to communicate with. Thanks & Regards
Excellent structure everything was superb. Excellent professionals.
value for money and the warm welcome. outside of the centro historico, a bit scary at night
This B&B is convenient to Lecce and allowed us to see the city in a way that gave us a great deal of flexibility. It has an old world charm that reflects Lecce.
the style, the room and the garden of the hotel was excellent. -
I would like to say here, that we found it impressing that from the moment the owner saw we were a gay couple, he changed a 180°. From a friendly man into a bulldog!!! An other point is also, if you want to sleep till 8 - 9 am in your holiday, then you are on the wrong adress... at 6 am you hear every possible plate, coffee cup flying around. So we were more tired after holiday then before.
I enjoyed the beautiful garden and the breakfast, very clean, the owner'manger was nice but a little short with me at first. Didn't realize where the resort was located. Its very close to the train station but we would have preferred to be closer to the old city. My back pillow was taken by mistake so I left a note. It was her mistake but I have to buy another one and so far haven't even gotten an apology. a small thing for the person cleaning my room but now I have to find another backpillow
The staff - all extrememly helpful; the secure parking; the spaciousness of the room; proximity to the old part of Lecce; breakfast. The shower surround. It needs to be a proper shower enclosure and not a shower curtain that does not fit. The result was lots of water everywhere in the bathroom and not easy to use.
Parking Problems. When I made my reservation, it was stated that there was parking. However, We had to park on the street and be aware that the car could be towed or ticketed if we did not watch the time. Also, had a very bad problem when returning to the hotel after a day trip. We had to drive around, circle the area about five times before finding a metered. Had I known that the hotel had this problem I would have never booked it.
Information on your web site not completely accurate. Some of the facilities listed for this B & B were not available. The breakfast was provided in a nearby retaurant and was very poor indeed. Just one cup of coffee and one stale bun. Nevertheless the accomodation in the B & B was spacious and comfortable and good value for money.
It is a decent hotel, very near the city center .Its location is the advantage of this hotel. The rooms were clean but very basic. The breakfast (which is served in a nearby cafe) is very poor.It is just a coffe and a snack. The lift is very old and very small.
perfect position poor breakfast
Comfortable and pleasant. Breakfast food was all shiger based. Would be nice to have had normal bread and cheese or ham.
Nice atmosphere, excellent location. no
excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff
We could come and go as we pleased. The rooms were largeand clean, the facilities adequate, and the water in the shower was hot and powerful. The rooms could have been heated a bit more. The radiators were only turned on at certain times of the day and it was fairly chilly in March.
