good value for money breakfast is poor - bathroom very difficult to deal with - everything was soaked in a minute....
Great hotel, Friendly and helpful staff especially the girls on reception and pool-side bar. Nice big pool, pool-side bar had great food and rooms were spotlessly clean.
The pool was kind of nice. Roy in the reception area was a doll and helpful. Where do I start? First, this is NOT a typical 4 star hotel! More of a 2 star hotel. Rooms are small and cheap. TV's don't show many channels (5? all in greek) and was probably manifactured in the mid 80s. Balcony in the appartments was small and everybody could see in. Clotheshangers were probably find on a dumpster somewhere (different colors and cheap). WC area was tiny!
Large poolarea, with a good poolbar menu. Small room, no fresh water, no light on bathroom.
Staff could not have been better or friendlier. Beautiful location. Bit windy but that doesn't really spoil it. It's just part of the experience.
location, facilities at the beach I having breakfast I was refused a coffee 5 minutes after 10. The waiter actually told me off.
Nice pool, decent clean rooms with balconies. Scruffy location, impossible to find. No Wi Fi. Breakfast not included and pretty disgusting if you did pay for it. The owner was less than charming and was a constant presence so there was no feeling of privacy. We (a family of five) had booked two rooms and were told on arrival that another guest was staying an extra night and that two of us would have to stay in the neighbouring (even less salubrious) hotel; no apology or offer of a discount for the considerable inconvenience caused. While the hotel is perfectly adequate, it is certainly not good value for money.
Good location close to beach, really friendly staff First night got moved to hostel next door due to overbooking
Although we were booked fro villa Cilo we stayed at the families next door apartment block called Sea Wave.We were able to use the facilities at both premises.staff very friendly and welcoming, dealt with problems quickly.Apartment was basic but clean and staff very helpful and friendly. Had greek night with food included free of charge. Very generous people. Sometimes room smelt of sewage but when mentioned to staff they quickly sorted out the problem and then asked us the next day if it was ok and if not we were offered to move rooms.
Very quiet, great location, close to the beach, lovely pool. Great value for money. Would definitly go back.
The hotel was exactly what we wanted, as students we werent looking for anything flash. It was clean and comfortable with our room facing the pool and very close to Perissa beach. I was able to use card here, it wasnt in cash so dont worry. Eleni and Antoni were very helpful and if I ever travel to Santorini again I will definitely be staying here. Perfect for anyone on a budget but still wanting quality for their money. A The only improvement to the rooms could be bigger showers and better shower pressure.
The owners, so kind and helpful and warm! The quality and cleanliness of the room, the nearness to the beach. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Helenis and husband always with a smile and offering a bathroom and shower until the last minute. Great stay, we loved it.
Excellent pool area. The staff although limited english were really friendly and made you welcome. Was in a good position close to amenities. Having a balcony to the room was also a plus. The bathroom had some rust in it due to the salty water.
We had a big balcony. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. They provide transportation to the port or airport for a reasonable fee. Although it was within walking distance, it was a little removed from the beach area. The shower was hard to use without spraying the entire bathroom.
Hotel Staff friendly and helpful. Close to beach and City/Town center. Clean and comfortable. No Internet. Older and lacking that warm homey feeling. Fairly noisy due to age of the building.
The owners! Fantastic people, they really made our stay very hospitable. It felt like the food was all homemade with love just like grandma! They even gave us a ride to the airport at 5:30am!
Good pool with shade during the day. Close to beach and restaurants. AC could be better in the room.
Great location and the staff were fantastic Uncomfortable beds,
Location, the villa's exterior, landscaping This hotel is not a 4 star hotel. At best, it's 2 and a half. Rooms are very, very basic, plain, poorly decorated, furniture is extremely cheap and in bad condition (rusty), no room service, not even bellboys, in general, staff didn't want to do anything for us.
Nice room, proximity to beach The hotel reception staff permantly trying to rip you off. Not very helpful unless you want to get cash from them with a 3% charge or wash your clothes at 3€ per item. Tried to put us in an inferior room
Great location, right next to the beach Quite expensive for what didn't feel like a 4 star hotel.
Location near beach price: too expensive during high season (Veggera is a 3-star-type hotel); food was so so; but nice restaurant choices nearby
The grounds were beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful. The store was well stocked. The meals in the restaraunt were very good. The drinks at the bar were the best prices I found on the island. The bath tub was great. Only one on my trip. The bed and the pillows were unbelievably hard. The most uncomfortable of my trip.
Friendly and helpfull staff at the reception desk. Nice clean room and bathroom. Great location. Would have expected beach parasols to be free of charge for hotel residents.
very nice place, reasonable price, across the road from the beach
It is 50 meters from the beach. There is lot of restaurants and bars close to the hotel. The girl working at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast next to the beach is good. The beach close to the hotel is made of pebbles. It is a bit far from the port but fairly easy to find the hotel.
The best thing is the location on the beach.
The staff. We didn't like the keysystem. The aircondition worked only when the key was in the keyholder. At night, in case of emergency, you would not be able to open your door since everything goes dark when you remove the key to open the door. The system should have some kind of delay function as other hotels have.
Family owned hotel. great service. nice people. rooms were big n clean and bathroom relatively large. less than 5 min walk to perissa beach. a number of shops and restaurants available beachside. simple breakfast. car/bike rental shops located nearby (recommended). Bus stop is less than 5 minutes away but buses take about 15-30 minutes to arrive and the bus to Fira takes 30-45 minutes.. private transportation is better. we will be staying here again on our next visit to santorini. All was good. nothing bad.
Cleanliness of the room and hotel in general, very welcome staff, bread and honey for the breakfast, distance to the beach and to the bus stop. If you stay there for a long time be prepared to the same breakfast.
Very nice family-run hotel. tidy and beautiful. totally feel like at home. The location is excellent if you want to go the beach. need travel to FIra and OIA
Good hospitality of the owners. The atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing, spatial. Convenient for the Perissa beach.
The manager (owner?) was wonderful...he picked us up at the bus stop in Perissa and even dropped us off on our way back to Fira. Our room was spacious, bright and very clean...we even had a bath tub, which was a treat after adventuring around the continent. The hotel is just behind Perissa's main strip, which made for a short walk to the beach and a quiet and relaxing evening. All in all, a fantastic place to stay.
We were a group of 8 and all agreed that the staff was excellent. They were helpful, accommodating, chearful and always there to serve. It was also nice to have them provide information about Santorini as needed. The facility was very clean and quite nice. The rooms were nice and the common areas had awesome views of the surrounding mountains. Great Stay! Highly recommended Some street noise
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was HUGE, espcially for the price.
I appreciated the spaciousness and good taste in the art and furnishings. It was lovely, laid back, quite elegant in fact. I would happily return. Our toilet did not work right but it was fixed promptly so it was no big deal. I had absolutely no complaints.
It is a recommended hotel. Clean room and hospitality. It accepted gently though a lot of blunders were done. I really appreciate your kindness. I want to go in the future.
We were welcomed into a lovely spotless Home. The family there do anything to make you feel comfortable. The room was huge with a Balcony, comfortable beds, refrigerator and large bathroom. Clean sheets and towels daily.Air con good. Breakfast very basic but adequate. No swimming pool. We were very happy there and would go again. I cannot think of anything!
The owner sisters are very king, friendly, polite and very beautiful. Of course room and hotel facility also very nice.
We were very disappointed. Photos on the website was nothing like the hotel/room that we got. The info we received was misleading: we paid extra for a sea view which turned out to be a view of the horizon 500m+ away. Cooking equipment was very limited. It felt as if they just wanted to make money and don't care about the quality of the service they provide.
Having a pool is essential on Santorini. Staff were very friendly. Location was good in Perivolis. Close to beach
Friendly staff, good location. More care should be in cleaning the rooms.
Friendliness of staff and pool. The car hire firm they use are very poor and the breakfast buffet could be improved.
The hotel was in a good central location Many things we didn't like about this hotel and it was so bad that we decided to end our stay early and pay the excessive cancellation fee. Bathroom was smelly and was very hard to mask the odours, it took 5 mins for the hotwater to warm up and the towels were worn out. Breakfast was inedible, pool was mouldy, deck chairs were broken and staff were not professional and always unavailable.
Generous breakfast, nice pool. Room was a little dark. Fridge and stove but no dishes, cooking utensils or cutlery!
Nice relaxed atmosphere Just slight confusion over taxi payments
Nice self contained rooms on 2 levels. Close proximity to all taverna's and facilities. Short walk to beach. Pool and area clean but starting to look a bit run down.
Location, staff, pool, beach Beds were uncomfortable, hard to sleep with music blasting from club next door, TV fuzzy and remote half broken, air conditioning doesn't cool off the sleeping loft very well, jacuzzi near pool was gross, some chairs next to the pool were broken and dangerous to sit on
Nearby the seaside, clean rooms, nice small swimming pool. No windows in the bedroom (!), only one tiny window in the bathroom.
The hotel was clean Like we wrote on the reservation form, we arrived late in the night. The staff put us (2 childs, 1 woman pregnant and me) in a very small and simple room, a super basic one, while we booked an apartmant brand new, with two rooms + kitchen. In the morning. I had to discuss with a reservation center and then we get the apartment we booked. The staff was absolutely non profession and preparated. I don't suggest this accomodation, the price is absolutely HIGH and not correct.
It was very quiet, nice location close to the beach, and, close to supermarkets, tavernas, etc. It was also nice to have a kitchen in the villa to keep groceries cold, and prepare basic meals. N/a
The lady running the hotel was rude and unhelpful. The sun loungers were wooden, uncomfortable and had no mattress.Couldnt relax by the pool- hence waste of time having one.Main point of concern was the owners lack of information, help and manners! Suspicious of trip adviser reviews regarding this hotel as they stated one of only places with a pool in the area-complete rubbish. Most had better ones
The hotel stuff was very helpful. The room design and the pool were good. We had to unplug the TV in order to operate the hair dryer. The toilet door was noisy.
Due to it being very quiet it felt like mine and my partners private villa and swimming pool. nothing really. A simple hotel. Which was all we required.
Great location easy strolling distance to the beach. Just off the main road of Perissa Village which meant no traffic noise.
Was great having the pool to ourselves most days & the hotel was within an easy walk to the beach We had major problems with the air conditioner not working properly so felt we should have been offered a discount or at least another room for the duration of our stay. I would not recommend this hotel as the lack of English from Voula herself made it very difficult to communicate our frustrations.
Very close to the beach. Very clean and pretty.
Very difficult to find - no specific directions given through the website or confirmation of booking
