Modern, clean, view of the High Tatras The hotel is part of Aqua City which is open to the general public and is always crowded, no exclusivity to guests of the hotel. Hotel parking always full, had to park on other parking lots. Noisy concerts in Aqua City. No AC in rooms. Can't take shower after midnight because of low water pressure (cleaning of Aqua City), had to intervene on arrival after 12h drive. Discount prices when booked through hotel website, we paid full price because we reserved through booking.com. Expected much more for the exclusive price.
The combination of the hotel and aquapark is well organized and is a huge advantage. The cleanliness of the whole place is just perfect. The room is very friendly and comfortable. The very nice thing was a tea/coffee kettle and tea&coffee available in the room during the whole stay (for free of course). Unfortunately the staff doesn't match the place and is mostly not very friendly. On the day of our arrival we went to eat the diner and the waiter in the restaurant was very rude (he decided to bring us something to drink after 15 mins, then threw the drink on the table, didn't say I'm sorry and went away), the information we got at the reception desk was mostly incompetent what was very confusing
Fantastic pools both indoor and outdoors. Polite staff. Clean nice rooms with good design. There should be more signs in the hallways so that it would be easier to find your way to all the different pool areas. The name of the hotel should be placed on the outside wall of the hotel.
A fantastic location, top class facilities resulting in a completely relaxing and enjoyable experience.
Nice and clean apartment. Good value for money. Driks and food for moderate prices!
good location. good breakfast. The room is quite big and comfortable.
Staff friendly and helpful, thanks
hotel is located near bus station, railway station and city center, easy to go to Tatra mountains noise from bus station in the mornings
Nothing The lack of air conditioning or even a fan, the horrid decor, the dark corridors with sensor switches that turn off every few seconds and the noise of traffic and the building works.
We were travelling through Slovakia and we stayed in cheaper and higher quality pensions and hotels. Breakfast was quite poor - there was not even milk!
we asked for a room with a mountain view and we got one, we also found a large comunal balcony by the lift with great views
Convenient location for transport facilities Lights in corridors on time-switches
Very convenient for rail and bus station. Recently refurbished room. Good breakfast. Good evening meals.Good value.
it was close to the train station too expensive for mid season, considering the hotel did not have many guests. They should introduce more competitive pricing system. It was quite old fashioned communist style hotel
It was an excellent value for money spa with really helpful staff.
The staff were incredibly helpful. I was very ill while I was there and the staff could not do enough for me. They provided translation with doctors, and even went to the shops and bought me special food. They gave us a reduction on the bill because I was unable to make full use of the facilities and they gave us a free Cryotherapy session. It went beyond their call of duty. The hotel is perfectly situated at the foot of the mountains, only 20 mins away by train (very easy to do) and yet right in the town to enjoy the convenience of bars and resaurants. The aquacentre is amazing, with loads of differnt pools, slides, steam rooms, etc. Massages are cheap. A perfect place to relax in style, but cheaply. The meals were not good. It was a buffet style evening meal and breakfast. Choice and quality was not too good. Noise through the windows from the outdoor pool (music system) was a bit of a nuisance but the windows are double glazed, so muffle the noise somewhat,
Good quality hotel with good facilities and parking. Part of a leisure complex shared by the public and it was always busy. Very crowded and nosiy. Food poor quality.
the staff are great
This family-run hotel was genuinely friendly. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The downstairs lounge area was a great place to chill and relax, enjoy a wine and casual chat. The pension had comprehensive details on Poprad and surrounding sites, recommended places to eat, and so forth. The rooms were great value for money. Free parking and free wifi. Central to town and neighbours Aqualand. We had a fantastic time here and wholeheartedly recommend to any Poprad visitor.
The staff and service was excellent. Everything was perfect.
The lobby/ dining area is quite nicely decorated. There is no English TV channel.
Great location (directly next to Aquacity), clean comfortable rooms and very nice and friendly staff. Aqualand is very good value for your money. I would highly recommend Aquland as a great place to stay, we had a wonderful time there.
Nice location, close to Aquacity. Very friendly owner ! helps you a lot ! A lot of space ! The kitchen needs some better facilities to cook...
Very nice helpfull service.
Big room, good location, tasty breakfast it was quite cold in the room when it was raining outside
The hotel is in a lovely old part of Poprad ... you will need a car to get to the main part ... the food was outstanding at the boutique restaurant ... quite impressive .. and a very good price ... the internet was sketchy
very good food, was impressed by the standard ,the size of the hotel considered.Picturesque surroundings. A to bit awkward to reach by foot from the railway station.
We were apgraded to suit in Fortuna2 building - that was big room about 40m with 3 windows, wared and wifi internet was available. Restoran and servise was good. Location is very good in very center of old town, but very quite.
Absolutely the finest little Penzion I have stayed at in Slovakia or the Czech Republic (and that's a long list). The staff was incredible - fantastic English by most and the weakest staff person's English was ok. Restaurant was amazing! Rooms were incredible.
We were fascinated by original designs of interior and exterior, which were arranged with sentiment. In addition, there was delicious cuisine and pleasing personnel.
I was born in Poprad and I decided to visit it with my boyfriend and see how much it has changed! Well,Poprad has undergone a lot of changes... But Sabato was the place that made our stay amazing. It transformed us to a medieval times and we greatly enjoyed it! It is the most wonderful and magical place we have ever seen!!! Fantastic environment with a historical atmosphere, beautiful garden, great food (esp.'boršč', salmon), lovely service - all you are looking for while being on holiday!
One of, if not the best hotel room I have ever seen and Ive been to a lot of places. Excellent food! For any new customers I recommend steaks!
Good staff, parking... No bar and no safety box in the room (ground floor)
Hotel staff is very helpful, room was very clean, very good presentation of food at the restaurant. At the hotel with such standard in the bedroom the guest should be able to make a coffee or tea.
Everything was perfect and for sure everyone must taste the delicious food at the restaurant
Location, cleanliness, quality of food, friendly staff
The room was very clean and comfortable, with an excellent bathroom.
the hotel staff was amazingly friendly, and helpful when we asked for directions, etc.great location by excellent restaurants including the hotel dining room.
Nice clean modern hotel, nice breakfast, excellent dinner This is not exactly in Poprad, but the distance is not significant
it was new looking and very clean. The rooms were bright and cheerful. The staff was friendly. The beds were a little hard.
It is a vary beautiful hotel next to a small a nice river,a lot of green around. The staff was excellent, really helpful and polite!Everything was really clean,my boyfriend & me we would love to go there again. Everything was really nice.I suggest only to add in the fridge no sparkling water.
Some of the staff were helpful. The hotel closes the restaurant without notice to guests for evening functions. There were two closures during the four nights I stayed. Both functions played music at full volume, making sleeping a challenge. The hotel is 15 minutes walk from the cbd.
Great value for money. Perfect location, just near the train station. Very nice room, clean and nice. We were very satisfied. The staff was very nice, but didnt speak any English, and the German was so-so.
Really nice apartment with large rooms in a peaceful area
close to centre of city, good rooms, well equipped
nice staff, very polite, clean,
The hotel is close to the Tatras. The parking should not be a problem as this is a dead end road and there was a lot of parking space. The apartment was spacious. We found some receipts from previous owners on the bed beside the head (apparently the bed sheets were not changed completely.
Modern bright and clean Penzion close to train station and town centre. Also close to plenty of good eating places and a supermarket. Fridge and kettle in room. Sloping ceilings. No English TV stations but plenty of German ones.
Penzion Fantazia was less than 10 minutes to the train. The fridge and kettle worked and we could make tea and eat. We had booked through Booking.com. The day we arrived (3 weeks later) we had to wait 20 minutes for the owner to come. We booked 2 rooms but were told that instead we could only get one room. The hotel said they tried to phone us the morning of our arrival, but we could not be reached. We were given one room with one double bed, a futon sofa plus a mattress on the floor. We were 4 adults, one male and 3 women. The bedcover had a 5 cm long blood stain on it.
Extremely helpful, and self breakfast with kettle and fridge proved very good for my needs, on a rail travelling based holiday.
nice and very polite staff,
