The staff was outstanding, very comfortable rooms in renovated suites. Excellent location The breakfast buffet is overpriced and not good compared to similar hotels' offerings. But staff very friendly.
space and facility of the room. walking distance to palaces, finance centre, and in the centre of Insadong. breakfast was not 5* quality. I had to remove your dishes after eating. The food is cold if you go late. =(
The location was great. It would be nice if one would not need to carry up all the drinking (and toothbrushing) water. There were two bottles in the fridge but no information whether those were complimentary or not. Hotel could also actively inform that the tap water is not potable.
Location is very good, and the suite we got. That I had to leave.
Great location and great apartments. Right blend between comfort and price.
Staff were wonderful. I had a problem with my credit card at check-in, they were very patient and understanding. Location right on Insadong surrounded by restaurants and shopping. Also right on the metro line.
Location was great. About 3 to 8 minute walking distance to two subway stations (Anguk and Jongro-3). Although it was located in Insadong (one of the touristy neighborhoods in Seoul), it was quiet at night and very safe. Insadong is not "Gangnam style" touristy neighborhood but more of a cultural/historical neighborhood. A lot of great restaurants (casual to expensive) nearby (literally speaking, you walk out of the hotel and you'll start seeing many restaurants) and it seems like many of them are very popular (was on TV, etc.). We stayed at 2 room suite and it was very spacious (I would say about 1,100 sq. ft) and well maintained. Kitchen was somewhat equipped (e.g. cups, plates, coffee maker, pots and pans). We had washer/dryer in our unit and was able to do laundry couple of times while staying there. This place is not for a luxury or romantic getaway but more for family and friends on budget. It seemed like they were preparing western style breakfast but not worth spending your money there. For example, instead of breakfast sausage, they served hotdog style sausage. The pastry they served were all store bought (not fresh item). It basically reminded me of continental breakfast from 1 or 2 star hotel in U.S. Everyone who worked there were nice and most of the staff had some knowledge of the area and had recommendation but no professional concierge service. No free internet service (I was surprised by this especially knowing how entire Korea is very well connected with free wi-fi, etc.).
The hotel facilities are excellent, our room was spacious and clean, the staff is very helpful, the location is excellent, less than 5 minutes walk to the Palace. We did not take breakfast, and we have our coffee and sandwiches in the Little Jacob coffee just in the lobby of the hotel. We enjoyed our stay a lot! Thank you very much!
The apartment was very spacious, breakfast was excellent. Location for sight-seeing and restaurants was excellent. Access from airport using limousine bus was easy Cafes and restaurants in hotel very expensive. After booking, an email request for directions to the hotel was not responded to, however the airport information desk was very helpful.
The location made it easy to go out and visit other places while walking. Also close to line 1 and 3 of the Seoul Subway.
The best thing about this hotel is the location. Insadong street is literally at its back door and Cheonggyecheon stream is a quick 2 minute stroll up the street. The staff could have been a tad bit nicer to match the price. When you pay for a hotel in that price range its for the experience as much as it is for a place to lay your head. Also, the lobby and rooms were not aesthetically pleasing.
Location: close to Line 1 Jongro-3-ga and Line 2 Euljiro-3-ga. Good internet and TV services. Simple but decent breakfast. Water cooler on 1st floor. Water bottle per person every day. A bit difficult to find as it is not on the main road but behind in a smaller alley. The closet is somewhat unusable unless you put shoes back on because its door faces the door and not the room.
The bed was wonderful. Stuff in the mini-fridge is free. Shower and jacuzzi was amazing (so was the heated toilet seat). It was a small room, but for a single traveler, it was perfect. Most importantly, the staff was super sweet :) Not the greatest English, but SUPER helpful when necessary. Definitely a love hotel (which I learned on arrival) but it's perfect for light business travel/people on holiday. The place is a little hard to find, but asking for directions is always a joy. (Take the subway to Jongno 3-ga, and walk out of exit 5. Turn left and straight down until you get to the second street. Can't miss it!) There was no toothbrush/toothpaste/mouth wash, so DEFINITELY bring your own. Or go to the 7/11 across the street. But they have everything else.
