Beautifully redecorated 'mansion'. An authentic feel that made us feel a part of the island for the time we were there. No
Beautiful, restored mansion with just a few rooms/suites and a lovely balcony looking over the town toward the sea and mountains. Everything is tastefully decorated, with nineteenth-century antiques throughout the public spaces.
Nice hotel, friendly staff and good room cleaning. A little too expensive compared to what you got for the money. Small balcony. Not sure if it should have it's four stars, but definitely three.
It's one of the cutest hotels on the island and has a decent breakfast. It is just steps from the harbor, so you do NOT need to get a donkey. If you get room 303, you'll have a balcony with a view. The bathroom in Room 303 is very small and dated. It could use renovation. Everything else was great.
Exceeelnt hotel in jusat the right location Possbilly a little expensive for the time of year
No matter what I asked I either was answered right away or someone who could provide an answer would be asked. Always greeted enthusiastically. The bed in the room was excellent and had excellent appointments.
Fabulous location--1 minute walk from the main port/restaurants/shopping in Hydra. Friendly, helpful staff.
Great location and very helpfull owner with precious advice on anything. He speaks english and spanish fluently. Loved the free computer use in the lobby besides the free wifi all over the hotel. No need to carry a laptop. Extremelly clean.
The standard of cleanliness of the hotel was spotless. The owner was amazing...very friendly and helpful.
Nice clean, comfortable room in a great location.
The room was charming as was the hostess. Our quaint balcony had a view of the harbor and we could watch the people starting their morning with the donkey caravans laiden with goods for places up the thousands of steps of this town. Wonderful.
View, balcony, location, tranquility The ventilation in the bathroom.
Pleasantly furnished throughout. Good breakfast. Friendly but not over-familiar staff.
Warm hospitality, good location, calm, home made huge breakfasts, a very friendly and helpful owner, very nice staff, very clean. do not hesitate to spend your vacation in Hydra there.
Wonderful place and breakfast, clean rooms No
Mistral Hotel was a pleasant surprise. We went with my husband for a quiet weekend and found much more. With excellent, friendly staff, a warm quaint hotel, excellent breakfast and peaceful. We would recommend it to anyone who wants to treat themselves to a taste of island life, with real value for money. The owners especially made us feel like we were old friends. Thank you for such a wonderful stay! Nothing, we wouldn't change a thing. Only, next time we'll stay much longer.
Really quiet stay in a very nice superior room. Excellent breakfast (close to best I have had in a hotel of any size or class), in a lovely peaceful courtyard. Friendly family owners/staff. Price - 150 euro per night in Sepember - may have been a little steep during these times.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great. Mattresses in all the hotels we stayed in were very hard. We are accustom to a softer mattress.
My friend and I loved staying at Hotel Mistral! The staff was beyond welcoming, the rooms were beautiful and don't get me started on the free breakfast! I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone who decides to stay a night in Hydra.
Great staff. Nice breakfast. Pretty hotel. Toilet and shower facilities were of a very poor standard.
Calm hotel in a beautiful setting. Fantastic breakfast. Very small bathroom for a "superior" room. High price in comparison with the standing of the hotel.
The Owners Jenny and Theofilo we great hosts and the staff friendly and willing to accomodate our needs perfectly. Wonderful and delicious breakfast included in the room rate. Best brewed coffee in Greece. As you know many places make terrible American - French style coffee, but nat at the Mistral. Location of hotel is central to the town of Hydra. n/a
Great location, exceptionally clean & comfortable with really friendly and helpful staff. As their are no cars & the hotel is up a hill on a cobbled street, it would not be suitable for the severly diabled or people with health issues.
The Orloff hotel lived up to its marketing blurb. It is in a beautifully renovated old building close to the harbor which is the centre of everything. Rooms are spacious and well appointed with generous clean bathrooms. Good fast free internet. I was well satisfied and would liked to have stayed longer.
The staff were very helpful, the antique furniture really beautiful, we particularly enjoyed the garden with lemon trees and the fresh lemonade on offer.
The warmth of the room, the coziness, and the location!!! More practical bathroom and a welcome drink-even a cold bottle of water-for the guests would be a nice gesture!!!!!
Well-designed and cute rooms, personal touch, comfortable bed, nicely located in a quiet area not very far from the port resulting in an overall very good price/quality ratio. Congratulations to Yannis, the guesthouse owner, for his personal touch and care in the rooms design as well as for his willingness to provide any advice and help. We will certainly come back.
The room was lately renovated in a minimal way not very common in Hydra. The bathroom
Good location, quiet area but very close to the town centre. Nicely decorated and clean room, balcony Air conditioning wasn't working, but I suppose they have fixed it by now.
Absolutely charming guesthouse with very very helpful staff. Located a short walk from the port, it's quiet - almost idyllic. The hotel has a lovely garden with lemon trees and gorgeous flowers. If you like soft pillowtop beds, this isn't the place for you.
I liked the small front patio in the early morning, sipping Nescafe and watching the locals walking up and down the small road on which the guesthouse fronted.
The room was beautiful; right out of a Martha Stewart episode. and the location was quiet, out of the way, but still central enough for a 2 minute walk to the harbor. perfect.
The location is excellent. Delightful and tasteful building. I enjoyed breakfast in the courtyard. Bathroom facilities. Cleanliness of of the balcony.
nice environment, peace and relaxing athomospfere, music which was played during the day, extremelly friendlly and professional staff, no
easy going atmosphere fantastic view from terrace rooms no kettle
Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, excellent location
Friendly staff , family operated hotel which allows a more intimate relation with owners who are present in the hotel premises all throughout the day.
