The most I like was the big swimming pool. Some staff of the hotel was not very polite, the prices on the hotel are crazy expensive if you compare with the street restaurant for the same food and service.
Very good hotel with good service and large swimming pool Too many mosquitos
Very attentive and effective staff. Nice rooms and large above-expectation swimming pool. N/A
Very pleasant and enjoyable stay with friendly staff
location is great. Nice pool Did not have the beds turned down
Great hotel with beautiful grounds. Very well located in city. Pool is amazing. Staff is very helpful and attentive. This is Could be a 5 star property, but it need a good cleaning. The bathtub in my room was heavily stained and discolored. The floor looked as though it could use a good scrubbing. The concierge service is terrible. I paid for a full day (8 hour tour) with a guide and driver. I was brought back to the hotel 3.5 hours later... When I told them that they only provided me with a half day tour, they giggled. I would highly recommend using one of the many off property services. Or, just go out the gate and get a tuk-tuk (5 bucks to Angkor Wat) and hire one of the many tour guides standing in front of the entrance (7 dollars for a full walking tour). The final price you pay shoul be about 1/3rd of what the guide asks for.
The facilities, the great rooms, the super bed, the pool, the breakfast and the attitude of the staff at reception. The noise of repair work around the pool started early morning and did not stop until nightfall. The roommaids need to get more training, ie; cleaning the room better, not leaving anything behind and understanding that TWO persons in a room need TWO shower caps. We had to ask for a second one several times. Also, the command of English of their staff is below international standards. Generally their prices for food and beverages are outrageously high. Better to eat downtown at Pub Street.
The pool was absolutely amazing. The room was beautiful and very large as well. The hotel was quiet and peaceful and the staff were always so helpful and available when you needed them. The perfect place to stay to relax and have some peace and quiet!
Wasn't sure what to expect in Cambodia but hotel was excellent - modern, great location, modern clean hotel rooms, large pool, good restaurants. We were extremely happy with the Sokha Angkor Resort. We had no complaints with the Sokha Angkor Resort.
This is basically a very good hotel. Room is large enough and the staff are friendly. The food of the hotel restaurants is pretty good too. I stayed in room 302 which is facing the road and is pretty noisy. During my stay there, the neighbours had some sort of celebration and were playing music literally for the whole day which was very annoying.
Staff and service - warm, friendly, and consistent, guests were treated as royalty. Facilities - elegant, beautiful, and wonderfully maintained. Value - more expensive than out on the street, but worth every penny extra because of the atmosphere in the hotel Atmosphere - beyond words. Felt like a luxury hotel everywhere we went. There is really nothing we didn't like about this hotel. Only thing that could be improved is the cooling in the gym, it did get very hot when exercising with intensity.
10/10 is just not enough for this hotel. They merit even more. Surprisingly every staff learned my name from the first day and greeted me with my name all the time. They were extremely polite, kind and helpful. The pool, the room, the breakfast were all magnificient. The location is the best in Siem Reap in between trees. The reception was perfect, they postponed my checkout for hours, according to my plane time without a fee but with smiles. I used the concierge for a guide and private car for visiting Angkor, they were perfect too. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
quite, not over-crowded, good attentive and helpful staff breakfast much too expensive
Really love the garden, the decor is also very nice and totally set the difference from the boring modern luxurious chain hotel rooms. Only complaint if I must have some: the lobby area (for the wifi. averagely each guest would spend one descent half hour there per day) is totally a mosquito feeding ground!
the room that i booked was taken by another customer when i arrived at the hotel. the staffs just apologised and told me to get myself the refund. they wouldnt let me have any rooms, saying that it was already full.
Angkor Miracle Resort is a 4*-Plus hotel by my book. The staff members were very courteous and accommodating. My group stayed in a pool-facing room which was clean & spacious. Restaurant (breakfast & lunch), pool & exercise room were decent. For the price we paid, Angkor Miracle was a great value. However, we will more likely stay in another five-star hotel closer to the park in the future. More discreet guests may find the bed and linen comfortable but definitely not comparable to Heavenly Bed by Westin or alike. We also spotted a small cockroach in the bathroom - but not something we considered unexpected. While Siem Reap is a relatively small town, Angkor Miracle is considerably further (extra 10-15 minutes each way) from other hotels to the Angkor Wat park.
We loved everything about this hotel. One thing to know-- although you should check first, but for us, we had, included in our price paid, a tuk-tuk driver devoted only to us, from 10 am to 10 pm. You could have him take you anywhere in the area! We'd already booked a guide for 3 days, for $$, independently, so we didn't 'use' our tuktuk driver for those 3 days... but did at night on those days-- & then every day thereafter. This is an amazing amenity, available since Navutu is a ways out of town
