I love the enviroment, staff, most resturant & shopping The only thing I dislike on every trip is room service, not the service itself but the food is of poor quaility. I made an inquiry a few trips back and found out it was prepared by The Blue Plate, where I dine after 1am as it was the only one open.....it's horrible!!!
location to sun life stadium staff was rude and room check-in is disfunctional. room should have been ready much sooner than it was.
The hotel is a self-contained city...lots of shops and restaurants...the downside was its a casino on Indian property so smoking is allowed----YUCK!
The casino wasgreat (even tho' we lost). Thefood was usually of good value. Our room was niceand the bed was great but itwas almost a mile walk from the elevator and wewerelocked out onASaturday night foralmost an hour!
Our suite was very nice. Really enjoyed the comfort. The air smelled like cologne-covering smoke, but it didn't.
The beds and linens were wonderful in our room. Room service for breakfast was excellent. The pool area is really lovely, both day and night. Rod Stewart's show was excellent. We found the hotel staff, with the exception of security people, were rather "grumpy".and this includes bartenders.
I can not tell you just how horrible our stay was. we were still awake at 9am from the noise in the hall ,the next room was party city. How many whores can fit in a hotel room? even the dirt in the hallways and elevators surprised us. this isn't a hotel on the weekends it is like a sorority house with absolutely no rules and no regard for anyone elses sensibilities. horrible horrible stay.
we only stayed for 2 nights and we really liked the swimming area and the casino the room was just what we wanted we will visit again the next time we are in florida 5 star all the way
Beautiful hotel and pool. Great staff Got to the hotel late Sunday night. Not much to do at the hotel during the week.
The pool area made you feel like you were far away on an Island resort The room lighting, not enough. Felt like it was cloudy outside bcs the rooms were dark. Need better lighting
Thought the mattresses were not that firm and comfortable. And if you have a king size bed include king size pillows with the bed . The pillows are so worn and small . Didn't like that the outside venue seemed abandoned not as many shops most things were closed while I was there . Was unaware there was construction. And after talking to a shop employee she said it's been torn up outside for so long and nothing has been done with the space . Definitely not the same fun place I visited several years ago. Seems like the outdoor area is getting rundown.
Nice hotel with a good entertainment Service when we left the room our plane late, they din't help us (only for money) with a shower before we going. We must too the toilet in the casino for other close.
The location and beach access. Hotel was beautiful and comfortable. Construction didn't take away from beauty of hotel. The resort fees. Just include in price up front.
Nice people and when things weren't right they made it right.
Worst cell and internet reception
They aré remodeling all the hotel, so all services and features are not available
Pool area is fantastic, beachfront hotel and staff were accomodating and most of them freindly. very expensive to buy anything at the hotel. Room was not perfect but the beach view was memorable!! Worth the extra $$. There was no free wifi even with the pricy room! not acceptable these days.
Love the pool and the view of the beach! Everything was clean! Couldn't take food outside to the pool or a cooler. Security guards were annoying on that.
Location of the hotel is great, beautiful pool and patio, Great staff overall. The hotel is under heavy construction switching from Westin to Hilton So if you like the sound of pile drivers at 6h00am every morning.... Nothing was told or specified when we made our reservation that the hotel was a construction site!!! Not professional at all!
THE beach, the room, the lobby I was charged for everything! Even charged for receiving a delivery package. At the end, it ended up being a very expensive hotel.
I stayed at this property 3 years ago. Then the hotel was a bit ragged and showing its age. Since Hilton has taken over they've done an amazing job fixing the hotel. It's pricey but I was on an expense account
Pretty location and the facilities are nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff and operations were a hot mess. Ownership has changed and it was as if every employee there was on their last day of work. The checkin was a mess, the billing was wrong three times, the beach was nearly impossible to get help with chairs etc. the place is on a steady decline. Find somewhere else to stay for that kind of money unless they get their act together. We recommend the Palms in Miami beach! Same price but 1000% better on customer service and style.
Excellent location, very nice pools and grounds, nice bathroom and comfortable beds, good TV selection, wonderful beach. Part of the hotel is under renovation and we could not go outside to our balcony. They were all locked and dirty from the reconstruction. We have stayed here about 5 yrs ago and everything was perfect. Everything is still very well kept ,but the hotel is starting to show signs of wear. So, the renovation is on time. Finish date is Fall 2016. I can't wait to see it. We will be back. Hotel very crowded and busy this holiday weekend.
Being on the beach was amazing and the faculties for the event was one of the best I have ever seen The balconies were all closed off, the staff were rude and argued with you, no place to get food during the day. This please looks like a high end resort but has the amanties of a best western
Location, great pool, lots of on site food choices, no need to even leave the resort The housekeepers would forget to clean the room. Mattress is terrible
Staff were absolutely amazing, thumbs up to the crew. The pool is absolutely beautiful, rooms clean, beach is five seconds from the pool. Highly recommend staying here!!!
I loved everything about the place The only thing I didn't like I was treated to two days at the hotel and it was paid for at checkout I was charged for hotel fee complimentary water a chair on beach that was a bit strange they should include it in the price especially When U check in and they tell you it's complimentry I get a bit cheated
A little expensive
Location Staff from the pool really rude open more time the pool
The staff here were great, especially the cleaning crew. I did not like paying $17 a day to park my own car.
Very clean room. Very helpfull staff. Beach is across the street. Great location to restaurants.
The staff was super friendly, they recognized me by name every time I walked in the hotel. It was just a girlfriend and I staying here during our college spring break and we felt extremely safe while staying here which is important for a couple of females when in a place they have never been before. The pool area was somewhere we hadn't planned on using much since the beach is so close but we had some windier days while visiting so the pool was the perfect solution since it's more protected from the wind. The hotel is only a short walking distance from the boardwalk, restaurants, and Walmart so you have lots of stuff right close by if you don't have a car and don't want to pay for a cab. The hotel is also one of the stops for the water taxi so that can also get you most of the places along the board walk using that. The $18 self parking fee per night was kind of ridiculous to me. I loved the fact that it had a security gate although people could still walk past it. The self parking area didn't have a side entrance so you had to walk back around to the front of the hotel which wasn't that far of a walk but what bothered me the most is it wasn't well lit area. Other than that though, we had an overall great stay!
Across the road from the beach. Room was clean. The pool on the waterfront was cool. Water taxi came to the hotel and was only $26 for an all day pass. The noise from the elevator. Only 3 doors down but still was quite loud. Area was away from the bars and restaurants. Needed to get an taxi to most places.
Elizabeth the front desk person was excellent room was not ready at check in. location.. no beach access
Excellent location and very nice hotel. We really enjoyed our stay at the Crowne Plaza. A bit pricey to eat at the hotel.
Approx. 300 meters to the beach, nice pool area and situated to a "river" with a very nice view from our room. Rooms are large.
The pool area is very nice & it overlooks the intercoastal waterway. Cool little Tiki Bar and wonderful staff. I do not think it was clear the beach is not any easy walk from Resort and you can barely see ocean, ocean view rooms, very misleading. If I stayed there again, I would stay in a room that overlooked pool area/sound side. If you are not an beach/ocean lover, it would be a great place for you.
The room was spacious and clean. I also liked that there was an exercise facility on site. I was attending a conference at the Westin and the Crowne Plaza was very close to that (walking distance) and the cost was half the money.
Good for the Money to much noise from neighbor rooms
Very big rooms. Each room has a balcony & a kitchen
The rooms were great Paying 25 bucks to valet everyday was ridiculous.
I loved the room! Very clean and quiet with a nice modern look. Having the beach and boardwalk so close is a huge bonus. A lot of the shops on the boardwalk were open WAY later than I expected them to be seeing as it was during the week. I will definitely be using this hotel again. The only downfall I came across was the late check in procedure. My plane was delayed 2 hours, so by the time I got to the hotel the office was closed. I was a bit uncomfortable with my room key just being in an envelope in a box where anybody could have grabbed it. (I didn't realize that the office closed at 11pm, but that was my fault for not double checking. I had originally scheduled a late check in, but would have been there before 10 so that conversation never came up.)
Hit anything on beach or boardwalk with in a minutes time Staff nice but not eager...son says needs better WiFi
the value for the money everything was nice only issue is the tub could have been cleaner
A real throwback facility, but that's part of the charm. Couldn't ask for a better location in terms of proximity to beach, restaurants and saloons. .
Beach chairs and towels included. Very clean and bright, fun colors.
This is a fantastic location for people who want to be steps from the beach. There were a lot of fun shops and restaurants in the area. The hotel itself was very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. They have beach chairs and towels for guests to use. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a $6 a day charge to park a car.
Overall everything was amazing, clean, huge and full equipped room, what's surprised! Close to the beach and very quiet ambient. Pool and bbq are nice too.
Location near the Broadwalk, walking distance to the beach, bed and couch were somewhat comfortable, small kitchen with plates, glasses, and utensils, full fridge You can tell the remodeling work is rushed, outside windows were very dirty, shower heads are crusty and in desperate need of replacing
It is an inexpensive place near the beach. You probably save at least $50 over the next cheapest place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Let's face it you get what you pay for. The price was very good and you were a block away from the sand. The facility is old and showing its age. The rooms very cheaply decorated and the bed was awful. Dehumidifiers in the rooms would go a long way to improve the experience.
I liked that the staff was attentive and it was in a great location. Steps away from restaurant's on the board walk or across the street. And of course minutes away from the beach. They provide free beach chairs and towels so that's a plus. Minor plumbing issues. Staff was attentive. I would suggest you ask for a 2nd floor room.
I specifically requested a first floor room near the beach due to the fact that I have two very young children and they went above and beyond a provided my family with the cottage room closest to the boardwalk/beach! I absolutely love this property and my mother and I want to spend at least one weekend a month, if not every other month, at this property!
Our group of 12 guys went down for the Jets v Miami football game 11/4-7. The staff and facilities were top notch. The pool area was small but nice. The location can't be beat, right on the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk, steps from the beach. Everything you need for your stay is in walking distance. Fly into FLL and 15 minutes late and $13 shared cab ride later you are enjoying everything South Florida has to offer.
The proximity to port Everglades is convenient. When I arrived, I was ignored for 20 minutes just standing at the counter while 2 staff members were having a conversation. The lobby and hallways were filthy and smelled terribly. when I asked about the smell a staff member replied "that's just how it smells". While checking in online, I requested a high floor room with a marina view. what they gave me was a first floor room and the "beautiful marina view" was obstructed by overgrown and unkept vegetation, so overgrown that I couldn't get any sunlight into the room. The staff was both incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful. I called down 3 times on my first day to request extra pillows, they told me all 3 times the pillows were on the way. Nothing was ever delivered to the room. There was a large gathering of water underneath the television when I got into the room, when I asked about this they told me they would "look into it" This was without a doubt the worst stay I've ever had at a Hilton property. I would've stayed at a motel 6 and paid a fraction of the price If I knew it was going to be this terrible.
Nice rooms, comfortable big beds, good price for location Not the most beautiful from the outside where we stayed. Came a day earlier than reservation and they were sold out. Parking $25 a night!
It was a great hotel. The rooms were updated and comfortable. Will highly recommend. Nothing
Great hotel, great service. Our door balcony messed up on us and they moved us into a nicer room with a view to accommodate the inconvenience. Staff was nice and took great care of us. I would definitely go back again
setting no breakfast before 7 am
Staff was friendly A/C did not work and carpets were dirty
- Only "glitch" was that, when checking in, the front desk said that my business debit card was declined....twice. However: • There was 60x more funds in the account than was needed • I called the Bank and they had no record of even any attempts and • I immediately used that same card at the hotel restaurant Unfortunately, I was forced to use my personal credit card
Ants in room, being charged for a 23 oz draft but only getting a 16 oz glass.
Location was convenient, staff was accommodating Older, a little beat up, not secure at all, parking was terrible, not great value for the money
Location to the convention center The lobby was extremely chaotic and loud. There is nothing near the hotel that gives you options for dining out as far as I could tell.
Great location, comfortable room Hallways and bathrooms were not clean to Hilton standards
Intercoastal view with a big tree blocking from seing anything
Nothing Rooms dirty. They never did housekeeping. You would have to go to the lobby to pick up your towels and soap. This place is dirty and low class
Courtesy shuttle , pool bar open until midnight Crappy breakfast included,
The Tiki bar & airport shuttle. This hotel was fine for the price & what I needed - one night to catch a flight the following day. My tub dripped but there was a door to the tub/toilet so I just shut it.
not clean and needs serious updating
Excelent location, clean room and bathroom. Over priced, the hotel isold, the door needs repair, the bathroom door has to be changed, it started to exfoliate
Love the location and cery friendly staff.
The free shuttle was great. Very convenient and on time. Just call hotel, and arrival time for shuttle is within 10 min. Small bar onsite. Kim was very friendly and helped us order takeout for ourselves at the bar. Friendly desk staff, and great shuttle service. Rooms are clean, showers work well. Would stay there again, when flying into Ft. Lauderdale.
Airport shuttle everything else
We liked the location....near the airport and near the cruise port and that they have a free shuttle. Also, the room rate is usually decent. Although the rooms appear pretty clean the entire building and furnishings are in dire need of a remodel/update.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I was very pleased with the shuttle from the airport and to the cruise port. Everyone was very accommodating. Breakfast was a bit hectic. It was nice to have a free breakfast, but too many people crammed into a small space.
The only thing good about this place was the staff Rooms dirty, furniture was broken or coming a part. Trash cans were full the night we checked in and wasn't emptyed the morning we left. Lesson learned if you book with Kayak make sure you know the quality of the hotel yourself. Don't rely on their BS reviews. I also learned Kayak doesn't reimburse me for early checkout which is total BS because I relyed on their reviews when booking this hotel. I will not use kayak again.
Great pick up from air port and organized shuttles to cruise port, breakfast hot and cold Room smelled stale, door barely shut, long walk to room from front desk
This was a great place to stay. It was very nice and looked more modern than most of the hotels on the strip. Staff very friendly and helpful. Most rooms had a beautiful view of the ocean! The higher your room the better. Beds were very comfy. Room amenities: Keurig coffee maker, refrigerator, ice bucket, 4 glasses, safe, hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner/bath gel dispenser in shower, iron/board, mirrors on the closet doors, 2 bottles of water daily They also offered 2 welcome drinks from the bar upon arrival, free beach towels and 2 free beach chairs daily. Location: The location of this hotel was good for us. It is located at the corner of A1A and Sunrise Blvd. The beach was right across the street and this section of the beach wasn't as crowded. We did not need to rent a car. There was plenty of things within a block surrounding the hotel. There was a Thai sushi place, 24hr pizza place, Mediterranean/Vegan spot, deli/sandwich shop, ice cream, popcorn, Subway, 7 Eleven. There were also several souvenir shops, a pub and a couple of other small restaurants. We rented a scooter from Fun Rentals right behind the hotel so we could explore a little further. Great transportation without paying for valet parking. We also used the beach shuttle ($3/person). Other transportation options include Trolley ($1/ride), City bus (bus stop right out front), cab, Uber, bike rentals. The nightlife is about a mile south of the hotel (30 min walk) on A1A. The Galleria mall was about 1/2 mile west on Sunrise blvd...not far at all. Overall this was a great place and we would stay here again. The pool was sort of small though. I would have liked a microwave as well though. Restaurant in hotel was kind of expensive so we never ate there.
The woman at the front counter was extremely helpful and friendly. She immediately saw our daughter who is two and offered to have us a crib sent up immediately. Hotel restaurant server was also excellent. Gave us great service and the food was great. Seemed a little too "uppity" for our family. It always seemed as if someone was looking for a tip. My husband went down to get a luggage cart to take our bags downstairs and the guy wouldn't let him have the cart. Said it was a "liability". I've been to a lot of hotels and always used my own luggage cart. It's not a liability for heavens sake. It just means someone won't get a tip. Also the bed was not very comfortable but that's just a personal opinion. It could be very comfortable to someone else.
Vera¡y good location The service specially for the breakfast was very poor
Great location. Great last minute deal thru Kayak. I will definitely stay again. My room was RIGHT BY THE ELEVATOR... bad move. You hear everythjbg coming in and out. Also, the chef... Well, let's just say the meal I had wSnt great. Actually, it wasn't good either.
Very comfortable bed. Rooms are nice. Location to beach is great. Parking cost is $30/night. You can hear every sound through the door.
Rooms are stylish, well concepted and executed. Baths and beds and interior design is well done. Rooms have great views and are quiet. This hotel and the W are the two best hotels in Fort Lauderdale and this is a great value. Close to restaurants and the beach. Slight access issues, but once you've stayed there you figure it out and its fine, the location offsets any access challenges.
Friendly staff, clean, close to beach. Nothing negative
NOTHING. EVERYTHING. I would not stay here, they are not accomodating, the staff is rude and inconsiderate. There sheets were terrible, and the room was dirty.
The staff is friendly and accumulating. Easy access to beach front. Updated lobby and rooms. Near liquor store. Don't worth the $200+ a night rate I paid. It looks and feels like an old Holiday Inn that was renovated. The view from the rooms of the beach is only a half view as the building is blocking the rest. The carpet was stained. The shower had mold on the grout and caulked in areas. The A/C only kicked on when it wanted to. The pool is the size of an above-ground pool. I paid the rate because the reviews and pictures looked appeasing but it turned out to be a front. Also, it is not an adult only hotel; many, many families present and being very loud and obnoxious. 2-star rating. Only stay here if you find a rate for under $100 a night. Very, very disappointed.
Great view, location - nice rooms. Bed was way too comfortable!
The personal are professional and very polite.
Room and view was wonderful! Staff was helpful, and the pool was relaxing. Loved the love music at the pool. Breakfast at the hotel resturant cost us a pretty penny.
This hotel is showing its years and definately needs an overhaul. I'd say skip it.
Pool lounge and pool staff were very friendly and accommodating as was the bellmen. Lots of things tho do for kids. Breakfast menu at Mariners was very overpriced and of little value including drinks. Women's poolside restroom didn't have functioning locks on stalls.
A beautiful place and always feels like you are on a luxury vacation. The lobby bar is one of the best hotel bars ever. I am concerned my credit card will be used under someone else's name as my bill I received was incorrect at the end of my stay and had the incorrect t address on the statement... Every time I've been to the hotel the check in is a huge issue and great area of concern... Honestly, limits my likeliness to return due to headache of rooms are never ready (I checked in last time the room wasn't ready until after 6p and this time I checked in at 4p and had to choose a room on a lower floor due to room on the original was not ready).
The property is in a sorry state, run down, depressing. The pardon our appearance signs do not forgive the obvious neglect. The staff acts like they know it too. Stay away.
My boyfriend and I flew in from out of town and stayed here this past week for 3 days. Everything was amazing; the front desk was very professional and polite. Room service was great and accommodating. I loved the spa pool and pool side bar. The view of the marina from our room was breath taking. We will definitely be staying here again when we fly in for Christmas.
The pool area was very nice and great location on the water close to the beach I reserved a room with a king size bed. When I arrived I was told there was none available and was given a room with two queen size beds. They seemed smaller than queen and were definitely cheap mattresses. Very uncomfortable. Also the wallpaper was peeling off the walls and there was mold on the walls. Definitely not a 4 star!
Parking was $25
Comfort, atmosphere. Staff was friendly, helpful. Outdoor walking from place to place (i.e. room to room, room to pool) Food was not good and not enough a variety. Needs coffee. Laundry facilities not in the building. Wine was way overpriced.
Very clean room Pool very cloudy
Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable I liked everything
Hotel did not look the same as pictures displayed online. The room smelling like old cigarette smell it wasn't a balcony either
on the beach bar scene
Towards the end of the board walk Close to several eating places Outside music / bar on property 2 free hrs. bicycle rental Staff very nice and helpful Free WiFi You can only check in until 9 and then office closes Was not given Wi-Fi password and it wasn't in the room so I couldn't work my first night (apology given, and accepted)
Quaint, friendly staff. We chose the Rip Tide because we wanted the charm of the classic motel/hotels of years ago & it fit our wants/needs Definitely not their fault, but Mother Nature put a "damper" on our stay!! We made the best of it but could only imagine that nicer weather would've only made the charm & experience that much better!
Great pool area and room is very nice A little expensive. Paid $ 292 on kayak and hotel was offering room for $ 190.
The lobby and pool areas were very nice but the rooms were tired and in poor repair He first room had bugs in the restroom so they moved us to a second room. The second room had hair on the sheets. Both rooms needed several items that needed some freshening up. Deep cleaning, touch up paint and general maintainace. The heating and cooling is a problem as well, don't know what can be done but it didn't keep the room very comfortable
From our front door, you could see the ocean, and within a few steps you could reach said waters. The room was was clean and comfortable for our three day stay. We made use of the regular sized fridge (nice!) and the toaster oven was an added plus. It felt more at home than a normal motel stay could have. The toilet would run if you didn't keep the handle upright. The towels they looked dated. And they were colored which I didn't like at all. But that was quickly remedied with a trip to the Dollar Store for white towels.
Nothing dirty lobby, room with cockroaches, broken bed, smoke everywhere
The boardwalk and beach. The hotel room was disgusting. It smells like mold throughout the building. Didn't have my reservation upon arrival. They charged me twice for my room taking out almost $600. There is no free parking. You have to pay $18 to park in the public parking garage.
It was by the beach Night staff was absolutely totally rude! The hotel stunk of mildew! Our room was extremely cold with no theromastat! 1/3 elevators worked! I could go into details but I'm not. We will just never stay here again or recommend it. If we didn't book weeks in advance, we would have stayed in the Marriot a couple doors down.
We loved the price and location!! Old hotel but bed was nice and clean and the kitchenette was awesome!! Customer service wasn't excellent, couldn't check in until 4p and we flew in from TX so we had to hang out until then. Old hotel and many of the shops are empty - seems kinda abandoned wheich is ok if you don't like too much traffic.
Closed to the beach Poor customer service and delay in room delivery
Na It smelled like mold. ...the gas was off and there was no way to adjust the temperature in the room it was freezing.
ABSOLUTELY, NOTHING, FILTHY DISGUSTING FIRE & HEALTH HAZARD,SHOULD BE CONDEMMED ASAP, & NOT BE BOOKED ON THIS SITE!!!! dirty lobby, room with cockroaches, broken bed, smoke everywhere Poorly maintained. Smell was terrible. Room Was dirty on the inside and smells moldly very very disappointed. Also also those unexpected fees no cold water, rude staff fire alarms going off all night and the building was under a fire ordinance they didn't pass inspection. NO WORKING ELEVATOR FOR 3 DAYS Hotel did not feel safe, with a very strong smell of marijuana in our hallway and very loud groups of people at all hours in the hallways waking EVERYONE UP, GOT A SINUS INFECTION, AND OTHER THINGS
The hotel is old, run down. Carpet nasty, was charged to park eighteen dollars a day. No one came to clean up the rooms I complained to the front desk they did nothing. There here was no blanket on the bed when I arrived. The bed was making noise, it was suppose to be an ocean view but the windows was boarded up, dirty and disgusting. I will NEVER go back there again. This was a gift for my moms birthday and it was her worst birthday gift ever.
On the beach. Dirty - (IN ROOM - dry boogers on bathroom walls, extremely dirty A/C vents and bathroom exhaust, stains on carpets and kitchen ceiling tiles) (IN BUILDING - Stained and falling ceiling tiles around lobby, Hallways smell like stale dirty store) - I did not see any cockroaches on my stay like other customers have stated. I checked for bedbugs as well and did not find any in my room. Staff - A few Rude members. One member was listing and singing to "50 cent - many men" while checking in guest. REAL PROFESIONAL. I was shocked at how loud the music was and how they made it seem like it was ok. Location - Although it is on the beach, this hotel is far from everything. There is nothing around here for families. Maybe 5-6 bars but only 3-4 spots to eat from which the food is not family friendly. One restaurant on google maps didn't even exist and no one knew what I was talking about. The Store - Do not buy the cooked food there unless you are watching the staff make it in front of you. I ordered a pizza. I noticed the girl had a slight cold, she got the premade pizza from the back room, place the pepperoni slices on the pizza, cooked, and cut... All of this WITHOUT washing her hands or wearing gloves. After it was done, I was like NO THANKS, I'll take my money elsewhere. The Room - Outdated. Like a porno from the 80's with the wall to wall mirrors in every room and the ugly flat green carpet. I swear the toilet came from a kids store, it was so small with no tank and a flushing handle I would expect from a public restroom. The A/C in the bedroom didn't work. The kitchen draws and counter top were falling apart. The bedroom closet did not have a pole and hangers to hang clothes. False advertisement - The hotel stated free outdoor parking and a fee for parking in the garage ($18 per night or $22 for valet). There was no free parking anywhere. Apparently, the Parking garage is not owned by the hotel as well as the valet parking. The hotel pool is not owned by the hotel as well (so, the hotel was built around the pool but they don't own it - WTF?) The language Barrier - Some hotel staff members and the stores inside the hotel look at you like you have 3 heads when you talk English to them. Are you serious! If you work at a tourist spot, you better know F-ing English (THIS IS AMERICA!) Hotel Overall - Not what I expected for a "Resort". I have had better service and experience at Econo Lodge and Motel 6. If you add up the parking lot fee's, the daily resort fee's, and your room cost - It would be cheaper to go somewhere else. THIS PLACE IS LIKE A "HALF-WAY HOUSE" FOR HOTELS.
The fact that it was walking distance to the beach was the only plus My boyfriend and I were returning from a cruise and had one night to stay in FL before we returned home the next day. The ocean walk is closed vacant and immediately makes the hotel scary as soon as you walk in. The shops that are there are not tourist friendly, at all. We knew from reviews that the hotel was "dated", which we were completely fine with. Dated is not the word to use, it is filthy. The Windows facing the ocean in our room haven't been windexed in I don't know how long, the doors and walls were filthy from people touching them. I'm not talking a few scuff marks, it looks like they haven't been painted or cleaned in years. AND THIS WAS A RENOVATED ROOM! Our bathtub had hair in it from the previous guests, not to mention the tub is worn, the bathroom mirror has broken glass, the sink leaks everywhere, the space between the vanity and the tub is FILTHY. The baseboards in the hotel were filthy. The vents haven't been dusted or cleaned since the 70's. We didn't even want to take our shoes off to walk around in our own hotel room. We lifted the mattress up to make sure there weren't bugs and there was so much filth under the mattress, the bedskirt hasn't been changed in years. We tried to remain positive, we were only there for one night. But it was just horrible. I can't suggest enough to you not to stay at this hotel, spend a little more and stay down the strip. The front desk staff did not smile once nor were they helpful. All three shift changes were rude. The pool has mold and slime by the drains. We felt dirty just swimming in the pool.
Our bathroom shower was stopped up we informed maintenance 3times nothing was done. We got a soda out of the vending machine it tasted flat, look at date it said 7/30/2015. The air didn't work, the hotel smelled old and like mildew, no new linen was given.
Nothing The rooms were out dated. No comforters. I was freezing all night. The blinds were broken. I couldn't sleep a past 7am when the sun came out because of the suns rays in my eyes. Ridiculously stupid shoes required in lobby rule. It's a beach resort!! Horrid parking situation. Really I have to pay a parking garage $20. Was there not enough land in Florida to create a guest only complimentary parking lot? Also the beach water was plagued by seaweed. I couldn't even swim without being engulfed by it. Check out is also 11am with a strict policy. Overall horrible place. I feel like I was ripped off
I liked the cleanliness of the hotel. Staff was nice. Location was good. Close to the beach. No pool. All this hotel needs is a pool!! Other than that it's a great hotel.
Very close to the beach. People who work there will always help you. There are a lot of beach stuff that you can take for free. Beautiful place. Nothing to write. Nothing to write. Nothing to write. Nothing to write. Nothing to write. Nothing to write.
It was comfortable for me The cozyness was cool and relaxing but need more improvement like breakfast in the morning
Like anyone else, i wasn't confident enough to stay here but I was looking for anything cheap for an overnight stay. Glad I chose this place, the experience was good in shared dorms (more than expected), secured and convenient place to stay.
Great location & solid WiFi! (Hotel Employee) & staff were very nice & attentive. Even threw party for guests during local parade. Hotel 1 block from beach & boardwalk with restaurants & bars in short walking distance. Washer & Everything was at the very least acceptable.
Location and cleanliness and the fact that I could cook and not have to go out and eat. The price.
Location and room They were not there to check us in- we had to wait an hour in the heat outside. The suite had window unit that was off, therefore the suite was extremely hot. It did not cool down. Florida was in the 90s. We slept hot. Expensive to receive this service.
