Ulemper: "The plane was small, it rattled and shook a lot and the size of the seats is ridiculous. The bathrooms did not have warm water and the sense of comfort is to be found only in business and first class. We fly to Zurich a lot because we have family there and we always take SWISS for a direct flight. They have old planes, the little TVs by the seats may or may not work and although the crew is nice and well trained, they cannot substitute for the discomfort of 10 hours flights in a crammed place. Sorry SWISS."
Fordele: "The crew was great and the food was pretty good. The crew did a great job of keeping the lavatories clean and stocked. It was a 10.5 hr flight and they gave us one meal, a snack and a treat. Not a lot but since we were just sitting it was enough food. We had to stop for a meal on the way home from the airport."
Ulemper: "The seats in the economy cabin are cramped together. If the person in front of your leans back you are almost trapped in your seat. There is little leg room and the cushioning is not enough for a long distance flight. There is no boarding control. People just line up and get on the plane in any order."

Ulemper: "Boarding was difficult with poor communication, before impolite request for spot check of carry-on bag and person. Ended up being one of the last to board. Entertainment system did not work, and after 4 requests for assistance to different crew members finally gave up asking and so had no entertainment for whole of flight. The last of the crew members suggested that an alternative seat or a future flight voucher could be given, but neither of these materialized. Food mediocre, and crew polite, but some not particularly friendly."

Ulemper: "I was randomly selected for a second security check at the boarding gate in Zurich airport, the security staff were unfriendly, said it was a TSA requirement even though I stated I am a United States Citizen and That I have already passed through a complete security check Point, still they placed a metal & scanning detector on my feet, hands & belt. This was a complete violation of my rights. Never have I faced a humiliating situation at any other airport. If this was a TSA requirement then everyone should be subject to a second security check."

Ulemper: "Everything was very good except the TV screen on my wife's seat malfunctioned after the first movie watched. The crew "tried" to fix it but nothing happened, not blaming them specifically but I don't think they were to concerned about one customer with no entertainment. After a long while it started working again. It was a long flight to not have entertainment the whole duration of the flight. Besides this little problem it was a very good flight. Crew very professional and nice."

I buy the internet service from the plane it cost more Then $40 but it was bad service connection and work Only for 10 min!!i contact with Swiss about this almost 3/4 Times..but no one contact me back..!not happy at all!"
Ulemper: "SWISS always turns on the air conditioning too high on intercontinental flights. It is HOT inside the cabins. The entertainment system is very outdated, small screen and old and used hand set. Claiming to be a premium airline is unfortunately very overstated if you are unlucky to catch the old business class planes. Only few have changed to the new versions (777s) - Make sure to catch those."
Ulemper: "They charge you an extra $ 100 DOLLARS FOR THE OPTION TO PICK YOUR SEAT AND WHEN YOU CHECK IN THEY SAY THAT IT WAS JUST TO SIT IN THAT SECTION OF THE PLANE. WE PICKED OUR SEATS BY THE FRONT BULKHEAD AND WHEN WE CHECKED IN THEY REFUSED TO GIVE US THOSE SEATS BECAUSE THEY SAID OTHER PEOPLE PAID MORE THAN US TO HAVE THEM. THEY SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED FOR THIS KIND OF FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY."

Fordele: "We were worried based on negative reviews on SWISS we had read prior to our trip, but they were WONDERFUL!! We flew coach from MIA to CRETE, two stops and 13+ hours of flying. The seats were as roomy as coach gets, but comfortable, reclining further than Delta or AA in my opinion. The food, drinks and snacks never stopped and were tasty!! Including a delicious Swiss chocolate a the end of your flight! They were so attentive! The attendants were all kind and polite. In fact, we had someone sit in front of us on our flight home who culturally didn't bath/wear deodorant and VERY malodorous and we asked the flight attendant if we could move. As soon as everyone boarded and she found two open seats for us, she moved us right before take off and we had a wonderful, great-smelling 10.5 hour flight!! LOL"
Ulemper: "There seems to only be 4 (plenty) bathrooms right in the center of the coach area of the plane, but with the flight attendants constantly serving drinks and food, you really had to time it so you could get to the bathrooms when they weren't in the aisles. Trust me though, this is hardly a negative and I will happily fly SWISS over and over!!!"
Fordele: "The flight was very good what I didnt like in that when i booked the flight it never said that my ticket wouldnt be able to add lifemiles for star alliance. That was only the reason i chose this airline. When i ask about my lifemiles the answer was that my class of ticket didnt get any lifemile. I felt cheated. You should put it somewhere visibly so the person knows before booking. If i knew it before i never chose this airline."

Ulemper: "Flight from Delhi to Zurich was on time but from Zurich to Miami it was delayed by 4 hours. We sat in a hot plan for almost an hour 30 minutes and then decided to let us off the plan. I would like to ask for some compensation for this delay. Please have someone from Swiss international reach out to me. Thanks"
Ulemper: "The handle of the pull-stick that slides into the suitcase was broken off with the pull-stick sticking out of the TUMI suitcase. Used a pen point to release it and get it back into the suitcase. No handle so it was impossible to drag the suitcase. The ground personnel representing Swiss Air at the Boston Baggage carousel was a novice, had never filled out a baggage claim form before. Told me they would phone me. I am a bit skeptical about this claim. Not sure if it was Swiss Air of the local ground personnel who damaged the suitcase."

From the courteous,professional and always available cabin crew to the comfort of the seat,from the quality of the food to the cleanliness of the craft, everything was just perfect. I traveled in economy class but it felt like king. I will make sure to fly SWISS again!Great great job!"

Ulemper: "We were bussed to the plane, there were long dark hairs on my pillow, and they are generous with snacks at close intervals, but the food could be much better. The ideas are cute, but the actual food is pretty basic, which is disappointing for Virgin, who I hold in high regard. Or did."

Ulemper: "For starters our cabin crew were the worst. The first service I had ask for a snack and no napkins. Dinner service was like just chucking food down in front of you. Then a stewardess looks me dead in the face and passed me for the drink service, then she said she thought I was asleep."
Fordele: "The crew were very attentive, they tried hard to help me with comfort, drinks etc. I didnt have food as it was so good in the Virgin Clubhouse!"
Ulemper: "The bed! When you flip it flat its rock hard, and the matress they provide is useless! Need foam matress to really make it more comfotable. If the seat reclined another few inches i wouldnt bother flipping it."

Ulemper: "The food is not very good at all. One mediocre meal served soon after take-off, then for the rest of the flight tasteless, cardboard pasties and wraps."

Ulemper: "Crew members are a bit bland and lack customer service, but I noticed that as a whole in Australia (slow service/not really interactive or communicative & very quick to make comments and leave) not sure if they just hate Americans based on the media or what. One crew member cut in line at the restroom when there was 3 of us waiting to go. Another told me my husband couldn’t receive his meal because he was napping and then he quickly walked away— Yet i received mine on the flight coming to Australia when my husband asked for me? Sanitation between flights should be more strict-my headphones were opened which lead me to believe my pillow wasn’t changed either, since one had a case and one didn’t."
Fordele: "Virgin Atlantic offers good service at a reasonable price to/from the US to London. Good food service and unbelieveable number of movies and entertainment to choose from."
Ulemper: "The seating and leg room in economy classic were inadequate. We felt way too confined in our seats and the leg room was a joke. I am only 6' tall and this was unacceptable. We will try to upgrade for the return trip."

Ulemper: "Bed was incredibly uncomfortable in first class. It was like sleeping on the floor. People talking loudly in the bar late into the night, which made it even harder to sleep. Didn’t sleep a wink on this 10 hour flight."

Fordele: "We were inmiddle seats -not our preference. We were told in Dublin that we had different seats to the ones we ended up in. Food was excellent, crew were very nice. Loved the "make a wish" event on this flight - a definite plus for Virgin."

Ulemper: "Had a missed flight due to weather delay. Made multiple calls to customer service. Multiple times the solution suggested was to go to a local Turkish Airlines office. How many companies are asking to visit a office for service in 2018? Issues were not still resolved. Aircraft seats were worn out and dirty on BOS to Ist and Ist to Miami route."
Fordele: "We liked the ability to watch movies and television programs to pass the time."
Ulemper: "We did not like that to use Internet we had to pay an extra fee. We did not care for the food. We were not impressed with the cleanliness of the aircraft. We did not like that the bathrooms ran out of water to wash our hands. We did not like that flight attendants handled and served food with no water on the flight to wash their hands. Most flight attendants were unfriendly. The one gentleman that served us was pleasant. We really did not like that between the food service we saw virtually no flight attendants other than those sleeping in the area at the back of the plane. We did not like that we could not understand the announcements made. We did not like the fact that passengers were not reprimanded upon landing for using electrical devices and laptop computers even though an announcement had been made to turn all devices off and put them away. Once announcement was made not one flight attendant said anything to those people around us who did not follow the request. We did not appreciate the uncomfortable seats."
Fordele: "Turkish Airlines er normalt, som samlet pakke min favorit, men når indtjekning vælger at sætte 2 voksne mænd på sæder ved nødudgangen der kun er ca. 75% i størrelse af normle (små) sæder, så er 3½ time til Istanbul en lang sammenklemt oplevelse."

Ulemper: "My suitcase was lost. The crew were less than helpful on flight. Food choices were limited. Boarding process was chaotic and unorganized. Flight left an hour late."

Fordele: "Planes are very clean, food is excellent, there is plenty of alcohol, and the crew treats economy passengers as if they were royalty. Flying attendants clean toilette each hour, There is also a flower pasted on the mirror in the toilette. All details of the flight have been take care of."
Ulemper: "1) The safety record is not superb https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turkish_Airlines#Incidents_and_accidents 2) Political situation in Turkey is unstable. 3) Most of Europe is west of Istanbul - the flights to Europe are longer. Ulemper: "There was a dispute about a seat assignment and the flight attendant stated that she did NOT have the authority to decide the outcome. One passenger was in another passengers seat and refused to leave because it was next to a relatives seat."
Ulemper: "Customer service was very poor while we were struggling to get back to the US while the hurricane was coming to FL. We tried twice to fly home earlier because we knew the flights were going to get cancelled but the airlines wanted to charge us $1500 for that. So when the time came and the flights got cancelled they were trying to adjust the flights and we got stranded away from our kids. Overall it was not a great experience as far as their customer service and we were not happy with how they chose to handle things."
Ulemper: "My flight was cancelled twice within 24 hours before takeoff. All I got was an email saying it was cancelled and a number where no one could help me. I spent over $40 international calls just to reschedule my flight, only to have to take a $80 cab to the airport to have a human help me. Worst customer service and worst experience. I was trying to get home after a natural disaster struck my hometown and Turkish Airlines actually made that experience even worse. At no point did anyone even apologize for cancelling two of my flights without another option until a full week later. I had to pay to fly myself home from Boston because they were so unhelpful. Would never recommend Turkish Airlines to anyone I know whn traveling internationally."

Ulemper: "The family behind us had kids, they were yelling, kicking my seat and had a cat they were holding. I am highly allergic to cats and at first couldn't understand why I was coughing so much. I was very disappointed the staff did not make sure this animal was contained at the back of the plane."
Fordele: "The seats in economy were very comfortable, food was excellent, crew was friendly and accommodating, entertainment selection was excellent, and I really appreciated the small care packages handed out (with lip balm, slippers, toothbrush/paste, socks, and eye cover)."
Ulemper: "About 8 hours into the flight the restrooms became very, VERY unclean--urine on the floors, sinks clogged, smelled terrible. More restroom maintenance was needed throughout this long flight. I thought this airline was the nicest I have been on save this one issue. It would be great if Turkish Airlines could resolve it in the future! Additionally the boarding process in Istanbul was like herding cattle. People weren't seated according to boarding group and it was absolute mayhem--no single file line, people shoving past one another to get seated first on the same plane."
Fordele: "The food was delicious. I loved that there were blankets, pillows, and headphones for everyone and they were not at extra cost. We also received care bags with lip balm, socks, slippers and a night mask as well as a toothbrush and toothpaste. The flight did not seem like 12 hours. Thankfully."

Ulemper: "Connection time between arrival time from Tel Aviv to Miami was very short. We had to sprint from the transit security area, through the crowded main terminal, to gate 705 to our sole connecting flight to Miami. A bus or other form of transportation should be provided to gates that are very far away. We were the last ones to board. Private security staff at the gate prior to boarding the bus to take us to the plane confiscated my Bluetooth headphones under the assumption that they fell under TSA's prohibited electronic devices (which they do not). When on board the plane, I noticed another passenger with similar headphones which were not confiscated- selective enforcement."

Ulemper: "In All my flights with them it is Sssoooo hot!!! They save on A/C??? I asked to cool the cabine - they did for 15 min and back to heat again . Managing seat assignment is impossible if you book through a website other than theirs . They don't have an "economy comfort " option"

Ulemper: "Old plane with questionable food, only few movies. Not impressed and considering not using TA again"
Fordele: "I liked the fact that I was not bothered by any background sounds while listening to a movie on the Turkish Airlines headphones. The crew was very nice, and the food was fantastic."
Ulemper: "The boarding process was a bit unorganized and took a long time as a result."
Fordele: "The crew member that was in my area was really nasty, all the other ones where great! They had to cover for her ... she did a very bad job ."
Ulemper: "The pasta was hard , looked like cardboard. My daughters could not eat , they ordered that and by the time we had a chance to let them know it was not possible to eat , they run out of other option. The next meal was pasta again , no other option ... so they where not able to eat the whole 12 hours flight."
Ulemper: "Cabin temperature too high, the flight attendants borderline rude and always on a hurry, I mean what's the hurry durin a 12:30 hours long haul flight. Turkish airlines has decreased its quality of service."

Ulemper: "My connection is very long on the return, but I was ablessed to take a compimentary tour in Istanbul"
Fordele: "We boarded on time, very well run, the food was great, great movie choice"
Ulemper: "The seats could use upgrading. I've flown aturkish quite a bit. Some planes have comfy seats, some are very still"
Fordele: "Please give food preferences while booking ticket"

Ulemper: "Customer Service. They cancelled my flight in the middle of my vacation and just sent me an email moving my flights to next day. Unacceptable!!! I paid for it 4 months in advance. One cannot change my arrival from Sunday night to Monday night. Called Customer Service 20+ times to have it fixed. They are all outsourced incompetent and unprepared. Good planes overall, but horrible customer service. I will never fly Turkish again. I prefer to pay more and have decent customer service and no flights cancellations in the middle of my vacation."

Ulemper: "I upgraded and paid for first class round trip but only got it for my flight to italy and not the flight back to miami. Economy is too cramped for such long flights and they are not as attentive as in first class"

Ulemper: "The papers in the bathroom toilet should have been cleaned out to allow more space in the bin.. All the toilets were packed"

Fordele: "I like Turkish Airlines. The flight was good. I thougt only food was somewhat not as good as usual. I flew with TA many times and the food offerings always had stood out from other air companies. In general it was great flight."
Fordele: "Good seats, good food, and good entertainment options. I liked how many things were include for the price, such as headphones, blanket, and pillow. Also, one seat in our row was empty and that gave us a bit more room."
Ulemper: "Boarding was slow, and my baggage never made it to my final destination from connector"
Fordele: "I have flown with all big airlines including Lufthansa, BA, Delta, American and others. This flight was by far the best experience I had. They have lovely serving crew so no one actually hesitates to ask or want something. They have helped me and my two toddlers along with 3 other similar families of an incredible amount to make sure they are all comfortable. No wonder that received the best airline of europe award for several years in a row...There was only a 20 minutes delay during take-off and we still arrived home a bit early... Very smooth flight, one that I still cant believe I had with my 2 toddlers. Strongly recommended."
Ulemper: "Food took up too much tray space and crew did not clear trays promptly. Messages from pilot were inaudible. We went through more than four security checks and we were only transferring planes in Istanbul. Terminal was short on places to sit and had excessive duty free shopping. Walks in terminal went on for miles. With the flight gate only posted 35 minutes ahead of departure, this was a problem."
Fordele: "The desk personnels from the Philippines (flight from Phils to Istanbul) were very accommodating when I requested if the plane was not full that I could be seated on an area where the other seat was not occupied. Very professional with smiling faces."
Ulemper: "So now, this would be the opposite (big time), this lady personnel on the desk (flight from Istanbul to Miami), when I asked her for the same request, she did not even look on the computer and quickly stated that the plane was full. I travel a lot so I just know that this person was lying and sure enough when everyone boarded, they were empty seats. I should have gotten her name because she was just plane lazy and unprofessional, it showed that she did not like her job. I paid an expensive Turkish plane ticket, so I deserve that courtesy and I would fully understand anyway if there were no seats at all but please don't even take your costumers like a fool."
Fordele: "Worst flight ever. Please enforce conduct code."
Ulemper: "I had to ask a neighboring passenger if her would allow me 20mins of my flight without his rear end in my face. He was a fairly large man and constantly bending over in the isle to chat with his family. His infant was being attended to by his wife who constantly paced around to shake the baby (I'm sure the baby was annoyed as well). The baby finally spat up on the floor and seat. Everyone in the family could not sit still more than 5mins at a time, jumping up, moving around, switching seats, passing items. The men turned the area into a social scene/bar. I was too distracted by all this activity hovering over me to enjoy reading or relaxing. I constantly had rear ends in my face, and I constantly had to dodge and lean in my seat. The aforementioned tall man even had the nerve to fold away my television monitor when I dozed off so that it would not be an obstruction for his activity. By then I'd had enough. The This flight was terrible. Non of the staff requested better conduct or mindfulness of the other passengers. I believe the airline should strongly consider having a separate space for large families, families with babies, or at least have a code of conduct to which passengers should respect for the sake of every paying customer's ability to enjoy such a long flight."
Fordele: "My suitcase was delayed, but I'd like to notice and appreciate efforts taken by Turkish airlines rep. at MIA to get it found and delivered in a timely manner. She also followed up asking if everything is fine with it. Thank you, guys!"
Ulemper: "Rude young lady security officer in Istanbul airport, who forced me to start my laptop working like it's forbidden item to carry on. She talked with intonation like I did something wrong and she is thereto discover it. I believe better workplace for her would be to supervise some prisoners, not welcoming guests at international airports. All other officers (including other security control ones) were looking overwhelmed by work flow, but still polite and friendly."
Fordele: "Service with a smile and very professional. Love the quality of food and entertainment on board."
Ulemper: "Last minute changes of aircraft that suddenly make what one thought to be an aisle seat a middle seat! Very annoying."
"I choose Lufthansa cause it’s a good airline with great quality but this one was soo old and poor. Food was terrible. Blankets and pillows very old, looked like they were like used. The chairs were soo uncomfortable"
"I liked absolutely nothing about this. The worst airline I have ever dealt with. We missed our flight. As we were boarding the flight (we arrived well in advance) the flight attendant demanded a negative covid test. We were asked for vaccine cards at checkin, never a negative covid test. They asked us to rebook the flight, thus we missed our flight, had to book a hotel, all of our luggage was going straight to Miami so we have no change of clothes. An absolute nightmare. Next, I stood in line for OVER 2 hours to get on the next flight. They gave no apology or explanation as to the 2 hr wait, nor why we weren’t informed of the negative COVID test in advance. They then recommended a covid testing center in the airport that charged 169 euro a person. I refused and found another less expensive yet approved center. I will NEVER use this airline again, I will never recommend it and I will never come back to Germany. The entire Frankfort airport staff was wretched. Awful experience."

Fordele: "Nothing was good, Soeacial meal Asian food was pathetic no taste completely bland. Boarding was chaos, too many confusions and crew was clueless. Will never fly A380 again as there are too many passengers and airline don’t know how to handle. On arriving in DEL the baggage room 2:30 hrs to come. Totally disappointed. Lufthansa has no control whatsoever they don’t even care."
Ulemper: "Everything related to flight could have been better. I have flown Lufthansa multiple times in the past never had such drastic issues like this time. Completely disappointed. Should have booked Qatar instead."

Ulemper: "Flyet var forsinket så jeg missede forbindelsen til CPH i Frankfurt. Det kan ske. Blev omboket til tidligt fly næste morgen. Sådan måtte det jo så være. Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"

Fordele: "The crew were truly great as I had an extremely difficult flight due to tremendous pain in my knees. Coach economy are way too narrow, even if I paid for preferred seating. A joke. Cldnt move. So uncomfortable."
Ulemper: "Boardingvwas delayed so we left a good 50 minute late. Ran out of meal choice so we had to eat what they had left which was pasta that was too spicy for me anyway. I was very disappointed bec I preferred chicken but there were none left."

Ulemper: "It took forever for the passengers to get on the plane and seated for us to take off so we left late. We arrived late in Munich so I had to practically run to my next flight. Thankfully was in the same terminal."
Fordele: "1st Class is a joke. They leave the middle coach seat vacant. You do have more overhead storage since there are fewer people in "1st Class". Otherwise you may as well be in coach. For flights within Europe this appears to be the standard. Save you money fly coach when traveling within Europe."

Ulemper: "Flight was late causing me to miss flight to Chicago ORD. Missed flight left me waiting in Frankfurt over-night with-out a hotel, nor anyone from Lufthansa to assist with finding a sleeping cot. No airport/Lufthansa staff would offer to bring me a cot and all attempts by me to locate a cot were unsuccessful leaving me to walk from area to area to locate were the cots were stored. Ten Euro meal compensation was severely inadequate to cover dinner and breakfast. Very dissatisfied."
Fordele: "Excellent crew, provided beverages constantly, meals were very good for airplane food, seats were comfortable for most of the 9.5 hours. Entertainment selections were more than adequate. Even the babies were quiet !!!"
Ulemper: "TV screens did not function consistently, had to be reset a couple of times. Plane was late boarding (but made up most of the time). Had to go through security a second time even though it was a connecting flight. Luggage got crushed in a carousel pile-up and took a long time to come out."

Fordele: "The crew helped my mom very much with her ansiery and were with her at all times."
Ulemper: "I bought the flight for my mom and she is handicap, the flight got delayed and they wanted to leave her in Frankfurt for 2 days because there was no more flights to the States, in the end they found a flight to Washington DC, she was coming to Miami. She is an old woman who gets lost and I had to order assistance for her, in Washington DC they opened her bags after that they lost the bags, she had medication on them and it was a nightmare to get them back. Im really upset and I don’t think That I’m going to book with this aero line again."

Ulemper: "Booked way in advanced, paid extra to book upper deck on both; outgoing flight Miami - Frankfurt and return, but was bumped out of our seats. Spent 2 hours on the phone trying to book them again, and ended up on a lower deck on the Miami - Frankfurt flight, but re-booked on the upper deck on Frankfurt- Miami flight although not the side seats as I originally booked myself, but in the middle section. The entertainment's touch screen system is inadequate, not reacting to touch efficiently."

Ulemper: "Boarding did not proceed by rows as customary so boarding was a bit chaotic with everyone rushing to the gate. The reclining seats aee an issue. Although comfortable for the ones reclining they are uncomfortable and at times painful ( taller people) and makes watching the screen impossible when fully reclined."

Fordele: "Apart from the turbulence everything was perfect. Flight attendants were very hospitable. Love the aircraft design. Great movie choices for the kids. In addition to that we all reach our destination safely. That's all that matters."

This was the reason, why a chose KLM! Then I tried to connected on board but I couldn’t! WiFi was not available. Crew told me that they don’t know anything about it! I was disappointed and angry."

Ulemper: "Flight was delayed 8 hours. Arriving at Incheon, discovered ground crew were unaware of our arrival to take this connecting flight. However, we were put up overnight in a hotel, which was nice."
Fordele: "The staff at the front desk for the check-in were extremely helpful. I had a complicated issue with my luggage and they helped me to sort it out in the best possible way. Amazing service! Furthermore, the entertainment on board is great! Nice movies, nice food, friendly flight attendants, etc. They even offered me a second sandwich =)! I truly loved my experience with KLM."

Ulemper: "KLM's new configuration for this type of plane made the seats even narrower than before. While leg room was reasonable, the 3 abreast seating meant a lot of discomfort, especially in the row right in front of the restroom."
