Fordele: Simple morning flight. Not at all full. Left on time, arrived early. Plane was new. Crew was happy. What more does one need? They were beta testing a new WiFi service. Free, but not yet ready for prime time.
Ulemper: Very long delay, got bumped for a flight the next day. Horrible experience
Fordele: It was on one of their newer planes which meant that we had decent comfort and entertainment!
Ulemper: The seats were staggered between the middle and sides, so my family was eventually split across two rows. I hadn't expected that.
Ulemper: The food wasn’t good and it would be great if they had pasta or some vegetarian option.

Ulemper: First plane from Barcelona to Zurich was turned around mid flight for medical emergency. Missed connection flight and had to wait 24 hours for next flight to LA.

Ulemper: Seats were extremely cramped. Once the person in the front reclined their seat it was very difficult to get out of the seat. Also better guidance is needed during boarding. Finally, my hand carry was checked 4 times by 4 different people, which means your staff doesn’t trust their own colleagues.

Fordele: Crew was mostly attentive and helpful.
Ulemper: Had the boarding queues setup and when they got to group 5 they flipped the sign and those of us in front had to go in the back. Once we were in the main queue they opened the 5-9 queue for some privileged traveler and then left it open allowing the back of the queue to become the front.
Ulemper: BA need to decide if they are EasyJet or BA. To pay BA prices and get EasyJet service is a joke. When I fly Easyjet I know what I am getting and can live it with. BA, on the other hand, wish to be different and yet they are close to painting the planes orange and still charging a premium price.
Fordele: Love that meals are part of the flight. Excellent meals, great service.
Ulemper: Boarding announcements hard to hear in gate area at Gatwick.
Fordele: The seat was more comfortable and more leg room than Norwegian

Ulemper: Original flight cancelled so rebooked ojba floght five hours later - then with one hour to go until that second flight, that was cancelled as well. Totally unhelpful ground staff, who were oblivious to the fact that I had a work commitment the next day so couldn’t overnight in some random hotel at an airport to suit Austrian’s policies. Eventually routed via Lisbon which meant literally flying all night to arrive at 0600. Lufthansa and Austrian have some serious faults to correct.
Fordele: -maintenance had to fix an issue that the team was not transparent about for 2.5 hours. 0at least boarding happened swiftly -the male crew member was GREAT but the female crew members two of them were very short, rude, and not there to bring comfort to customers -chicken meal was tasty, but made both me and my father sick. Muffin for breakfast was mediocre as well -tv was good, but touch screen sometimes doesn't work.

Fordele: Absolutely nothing. Despite booking business class flights 3 months before departure date because we had to attend a very important wedding. Swiss Airlines overbooked the flight but didn’t warn us in advance. This meant my husband was forced to pay over 8 thousand Euros to charter a small private je
Ulemper: So That we could attend the wedding early the next morning in Oldenburg. They then had the audacity to void our return flights. Luckily I spoke with a lovely lady at Lufthansa, explained the situation and she re-instated return flights for an admin fee. Will never ever use Swiss Airlines again.
Fordele: On time, best connection for me, earning miles on my program. I booked based on time and cost, didn't even pay attention to what airline.
Ulemper: No food, plane felt pretty old and not so clean. Smaller seats than the other flights I had with Lufthansa. Otherwise, it was fine. I had a pretty bad earache on that particular flight, so I liked it less than I might have otherwise. Something didn't feel right, pressure wrong or something.
Fordele: Plane is old and dingy. No charging available and the seats are so uncomfortable. Crew was just ok.
Ulemper: Food was OK, could have been better.
Fordele: entertainment was good
Ulemper: the flight attendants were mostly absent. The flight attendants on the other side of the aisle were much more attentive and nice
Fordele: The leg space was great for economy class. There was room for bags in the overhead. The movie selection was great.
Ulemper: Boarding via bus.... first bus had kids, business class, and people who needed help. Second bus had everyone else. Both waited on the tarmac for the plane to be ready and both busses opened the doors at the same time. The families were swamped while trying to load the plane with kids in tow.
Ulemper: Los Angeles to Frankfurt on an A380 was great. Flight to Tel Aviv was good. But trying to navigate around Frankfurt was very difficult.
Fordele: Seating is tight. The crew was great !
Ulemper: As we landed we had to wait on the plane for an hour and a half because another plane (Spirit) was in our “parking spot.” This made it very difficult for people and connecting flights.
Fordele: Very pleased with KLM - efficiency all round and especially the baggage handling at Schipol swhere I had 20 minutes to transfer and my baggage came back with me to the UK which is no mean feat given the hustle and bustle of such a large airport

Ulemper: Something did not go right with our booking so it took some work for the airline to get it figured out for us. Thankfully we had left plenty of time. But that was an unexpected stress.

Fordele: The crew was polite and helpful. The wine was free and each seat had it's own screen with a good assortment of movies and TV shows.
Ulemper: The food could be much better. Although coming from Sicily it's tough to compare.
Fordele: most of the flight attendants were excellent except one particular one who was basically yelling at passengers. she had a a logo or a badage on her that identifies her as a manager or a crew lead. she had poor manners and need major improvement

Ulemper: Auto check in wouldn’t recognise passport (YET AGAIN- and not only mine)! Was seated to rear of aircraft and coffee trolly didn’t get to me before ‘seatbelts fastened for landing’ announcement..

Fordele: The Austrian Airlines crew was great, very courteous, very professional and friendly. The food service was also excellent.
Ulemper: My complaints go to something not directly linked to the flight crew. 1. When boarding, I like to see when passengers are called in groups relating to distant seats in the plane such that they do not step over each other during luggage placement. That is more comfortable than let the crowd enter randomly. 2. I notice people enter the cabin with 2, even 3 pieces of luggage. Even though each one has proper dimensions, they overload the overhead compartments and it is hard for everybody to place his/her belongings in a suitable way. 3. The rows in the airplane seems to have gotten closer ti each other. It is not the airlines fault, except perhaps when choosing whose airplanes to buy...but again, there are only two major contenders in that segment. For overseas flights, it is pretty uncomfy. 4. Lastly, unboarding the plane could also be performed (enforced by the crew) to be in a more civil fashion rather than haveing5 a stampedo - again calling separate grouos of rows in the name of fairness, or simply vacating it row by row from the front to back.

Fordele: Nice to have more legroom, crew was egficient and accomodating, they treated a sick passanger in the row in front of me with great empathy and professionalism.

Ulemper: This was a smooth as clockwork journey, the transit was easy and we were kept well informed about changes in the gate number

Fordele: KLM was a great experience compared to Airitalia. The food was good, the flight attendants were very helpful.
Fordele: Smooth and faster than expected trip. I felt free to get up and walk around on this long flight. Food was good. I sat in seat with extra leg room for the first time and it was worth it
