Very nice rooms, nice place, еxcellent service & staff.
Spa, massage All good no comment
Excellent Service, Superior Room but a very bad neigbourgood! The hotel is situated in a bad neigbourhood, which I did not know. I would not reccomend this hotel for couples or women, because the hotel is located in a women unfriendly environment!
nice breakfast, nice rooms, nice place and super massage in hammam and sauna... everything was perfect...i ask people who will make reservation SC INN hotel staff is really bad and you understand it after you stay in this hotel...
the room was clean, we had clean towels every day and the breakfast was nice, a lot to choose from. the bathroom was not that nice and it was small. the hotel is situated next to the mosque, so every day at 5 a.m. the singing awakes you.
Serviceminded staff, free map, information, tea and fruit at arrival. Close to long distance buses, and to the railway station, even close to shopping areas.
Fortunately, very close to the historical downtown, bazaar streets, Kadifekale, and railway station. Has an own parking facility. Maybe too old-school, every square meter "wears" yesterday's design.
The staff were always very courteous and very helpful. They sent a bellman to our car show us the way into the parking lot.We had fresh fruit waiting for us in our room. The man at the desk got our reservations to Chios. Shampoo, shower cap, etc. all provided. Pens given to us when we left..
Reception staff was very helpful. Almost impossible to find.
The hotel staff was friendly and courteous. We booked a quadruple room; they upgraded us to a suite at no additional cost because it was available for the night. My daughter left her journal and pen in one of the drawers; we called the hotel and they mailed it to us the next day. Rooms were nice and clean, newly remodeled. Parking was on sight with a guard in the parking lot. Came out the next morning and they had washed our car for us. Service was excellent in this hotel. The location is rather difficult to get to, even with the google maps we used. In a very confusing part of Basmane. We speak Turkish and so we were able to get around and ask; however, if you do not know the language, I would suggest asking a taxi driver to take you straight to the hotel rather than trying to find it yourself.
very good, they wash my car also free.
The hotel is located within walking distance of the train station, which is a huge plus when you are hauling luggage. The staff was courteous and very helpful providing assistance when needed. The facilities are spotless and since the hotel has been recently renovated you can still get that brand new feeling. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated with an energy saving system. Amenities such as toiletries, paper slippers, tv, and minibar are provided.
The design and the size of the room is excellent. The room size was very big and roomy, even for three adults. The room had a lot of sun shine because it had many windows. The location is very handy, near all public communication facilties. A lot of take away and restaurants nearby - within only 1/2 minutes walking distance. The agora is only 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The grand bazar and the jetty is only 15 minutes walk. I wonder why this hotel is classified as 2 star. It should be 3-star. The hotel staff were very helpful. The breakfast is usually served from 7 am. Since we will catch early bus, the staff organized early breakfast for us at 6.00 am without asking this favour. Thanks for this.
Very friendly staff, very safe, despite being in a rather ambivalent surrounding. WiFi in the room, minibar, a small courtyard where one can sit and relax and have a beer. You get much more than you would expect for such a price!
Hotel is clean, rooms are enough spacious. Breakfast was good. Good location in the center of city..
The hotel is modern and very centrally located. Staff is extremely friendly and service oriented. We had a personal pick up from the airport and the sales manager did everything she could to make our stay a very special memory.
The location is perfect. It's a part of Turkey that isn't seen by the majority of tourists, but should be! The Hotel, it's theme, the grounds, the little gifts, the atmosphere and the staff all helped towards a perfect stay.
The hotel was fine, very good located near the Basmane train and subway stations. The main problem was that there are a few english speaking staff.
Good location, very central, close to metro - that was what we needed. ±10 minutes walk to the seaside.
the staf was very helpful, the location of near subway station was very good, the close position of the bazar the toilet on the room was old
location staff can not give information about sightseeng of town
The hotel lies close to the old market and the bay both of which are a five minute walk from it. It lies however a bit further from the modern side with the bars and restaurants. We stayed at the hotel for a few days. Our bed sheet were never changed and the main lamp of the room was off as well as other lamps in the room. When we asked for toilet paper, which was finished, we did not get it and had to look for it ourselves in the common area closets!!!! The fridge was broken. Moreover the plumping system was terrible. The shower did not have any pressure so we could not clean ourselves properly and could not make combinations of cold and warm water to yield a proper temperature.... Walls are too thin and you can hear, quite crisply what others do in their rooms. Overall a bad experience, apathetic service and poor management of the place.
channel 27 really aweful bathroom. dirty bathroom
lobby open 24/7 and they fixed a taxi for us to go to the airport without any problems the bathroom in our room was in need of an upgrade
The staff was generally friendly, and attempted to make ammends after we were dissatisfied with our room, even going so far as giving us a free one-night stay for our future use. Breakfast spread was very good, with typical Turkish style with other non-Turkish traditional foods such as cereal. Wireless internet worked well throughout the hotel. The room was basically clean and functional. The location was good and central for doing what we had come to do. The lights didn't work in the first room they rented us, then the second room they took us to had similar problems where only some of the lights worked. There was a strange smell to the room, like a smoker's residue. The decor was outdated and dingy. The bathroom shower didn't close all the way, so water got on the floor everytime we took a shower. There wasn't any hot water in the mornings. We felt the room was overpriced for the condition it was in.
The hotel has a perfect location. It's so close to the significant points in İzmir city center.Important points are in a walking distance. It has a good service and helpful staff...It has a very rich breakfast menu and clean rooms with Satelite TV and Minibar... It can be a bit noisy especially in the day-time...
we go for the work yes the pictures of the hotel in your sites are not like reality!!
Excellent location in a market street, great breakfast, nice staff (speaking excellent English). If you are by car, not easy to reach because it's in the middle of a market street. It has a parking, though.
Very helpful staff, very clean, nice breakfast, parking site and comfortable triple room. I would recommend this hotel to foreign travelers, bcs of good location in center. Even the area seems not good, it is saved and colourful. noisy in mornings bcs there are many traditional shops in the hotel street.
Clean rooms, helpful stuff with excelent English.
The staff were very helpful and generous in all matters and enquiries. The breakfast was fantastic, it had a great variety of everything you could want. The rooms were great, very clean and modern and had everything that you could want. It is a great location for the markets, the agora and the park section and museum section of town. The hotel caters mainly for Turkish/International businessmen, so a solo traveller looking for planned tours of northern tourist sites was not something they were use to organising, however, it worked out in the end. Also the area is very safe during the day, but if you are female and a solo traveller is not too safe to go out in this area in the evening.
Agora Konak Saray Hotel had the most friendly staff of anywhere in the world, and was very comfortable. A long way from the Bus Station of only purpose of staying in Izmir is as jump off to surrounding ruins etc.
Very good breakfast buffet on the top (3rd floor). Room was clean & modern. Staff were friendly, though most had limited English. AC was very good. The street this hotel is on had many little eateries, grocers, & food shops. Surrounding area is a backstreet market zone on the grungy side with many street dogs. Internet was fritzy one night out of four. Big TV in the breakfast room disturbs the morning tranquility.
I've been there only for one night; found good cleanlines, very good position, optimum breackfast ang good staff. Good value for money. The rainy day ;-))))
the staff was excellent, very helpful and responsive to any demand or question; hotel is very clean and air conditioning is available in the rooms; breakfast is good, the only thing missing is the coffe (they provide only instant coffe and tea), but you can get a very good turkish coffe in the nice coffe places the hotel is very nice and very well positioned in the center of the city but is a bit difficult to find it; the streets are very narrow and its difficult to get access by car
Clean, stylish room, nice staff, excellent value-for-money dinner at the restaurant hotel (fresh fish and salad), elegant decor. Hard to locate in a local, busy area.
Charming, comfortable hotel within walking distance of most attractions. Excellent breakfast buffet and helpful staff. Truly service with a smile.
Staff were very helpful, breakfast was most generous, the room was decent size,it was clean; it was what it said it is: a two star hotel. Location, near the bazaar, could be off-putting,the dogs in the parking area could be a problem at night.
Nice staff. Too noisy rooms.
The receptionist tried to trick us when we had to pay for the rooms. We argued with him for 15 minutes until he admited that he was asking to much money. So be carrefull. On the other hand, the sheets in the room were not very clean. Also, I had a hard time finding the hotel with my GPS, so I suggest you print a map if you plan to go there by car.
very good hotel for a low price, very good breakfast included
Part of the staff was helpful and I got myself with a good room view. It's placed in a dirty, poor city area, as you will remark mostly during the night. The hotel has an unmaintained look. The only available (improvised) parking is in a backstreet area that i wouldn't visit even with Google Maps.
customer service was exelent, manager was wonderfull ,Mr Zaki Alan was very helpful giving a wonderful information to us
Price was ok. staff was ok too. If you need cheap acomodation for couple of days it is just average. I would not recomend this hotel to couples or families it more suitable for male friends. Rooms need maintanace. i and my friends did not fell very comfortable with the ambiance and other hotel residents. It was bit low profile hotel. spa centre, hamam and swimming pool(if there is one) is not in the hotel it is in the next building and you pay for it extra.
Ok price and location, polite staff Serious leak in the bathroom, noise from the street, room not especially clean, run down place in general
Staff were always helpful The carpet didn't look too clean to me and I like to walk around barefoot in my hotel room. This time, I kept my shoes on!
Good value for money, location is nice if you don't want to stay in the middle of the touristy Sultanahmet area. Very friendly staff, clean room.
Nice reception, staff willing to help, clean room, small but sufficient for the purpose of overnight stay.
