Location Room smelt of cigarrette smoke and bathroom was small, not easy to use the toilet paper due to where situtated.
We have stayed at this hotel many times. On this occasion we noticed a big change. Staff have lost their smile and gave the impression that the bosses have lost interest & ignore feedback. Also charging €10.50 for a slow 256Kbps ADSL line is a rip off. Next time we will stay at the Nelva - not quite so "centrico" but better rooms, better beds, better bathrooms, better service, same price, free WiFi, cheaper parking.
Restaurant meal and staff were wonderful. Reception staff were friendly and most helpful. Parking costs were very expensive.
Comfortable, clean, quiet room. We were allowed to leave our car in the car park for 4 hours after check out. Parking charge is double that charged by the Murcia Hotel Nelva
Modern clean room with ample toileteries, towels etc. The flat screen tv lent to the modern theme of the room. It was great to have a real double bed not two single beds together.
the room was cosy and clean there was no basic service like a tothbrush, toothpaste, lotions or anything, which you can usually find in 4 star hotels.
The staff was very friendly and always willing to help with suggestions and directions. I would have like to have a coffee pot in the room and to be able to use the 30 minutes WiFi in the room, rather than in the lobby.
The hotel was in an excellent location, very near the city centre and the historic area, just across the river from the Cathedral. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. I thought the charge for the parking garage was a little expensive. Perhaps a gradually reducing fee every 24 hours could be offered, so the first 24 hours could be charged at full price and then reduce the fee by a day to day basis to a minimum price would be more encouraging.
The hotel is convenient, comfortable and clean. The hotel staff were all helpful, pleasant and accommodating. The room was fine, and the food was excellent (the buffet breakfast did not disappoint). my car was parked by the hotel staff (overnight parking as an extra cost). I would choose to stay here again.
Level of courtesy and service Very difficult to find. Expensive to park the car in hotel garage.
The staff were very helpful, the rooms were big, clean and bright. We were on the top floor and no smoking. And the decor was lovley There were no tea and coffee facilities.
Good size room & bathroom + terrace, value for money
Location Unavailability of lugage helper or driver service after 1200h
excellent professionality. a very clean place, very central
Great value for the price
Nice, clean Difficult to find parkingplace outside hotel. The hotel had a garage a few blocks a away. Not a good solution if you need your car during your stay.
Hotel stuff were very polite. Location of the hotel was also very useful to travel around the city. Noises, noises and noises in the room. Noises from outside and noises from inside, from other rooms.
Nice and big room.
I felt comfortable N/A
Convenience of being able to walk everywhere easily. The breakfast in the room service was a bit confusing! Sat morning none arrived due to nobody picking up our 'order sheet' from our door! Had to say at reception - much better Sun A.M.! Plus, no food served in cafe/bar until 8.30pm - we know Spain eats late! But on this occassion, going to a van morrisson concert for 9pm meant we would have welcomed a decent full service. The reception guy was very good and arranged some basic food - unfortunately, the Pork Baguette eaten by my wife made her very ill during the concert!! It was definitely that as I was ok and had not eaten one! We did say at check out and received 7e off bill!
Excellent value and extremely well placed for the historical quarter of the city.
excellent helpful staff lack of bar / restaurant service and opening times
Excellent location and great value, clean and comfortable room and helpful English speaking staff. Lack of facilities for a 4 star hotel-no gym
quality and comfort very helpful at front of desk
Good location, great breakfast Parking expensive
It was a beautiful hotel with friendly staff and an excellent restaurant. no
Fox was the only english news. Cnn, bbc, EuroNews would all be better
good location parking difficult
pleasant hotel clean, friendly staff very difficult to find, extremely difficult parking, also very difficult to find entrance to parking
close to shops Hard to park outside the hotel on first arrival. The hotel could do with redecoration.
the service, the cost the bathroom was a bit tight, the elevators quite ugly and I don´t think it deserves to be a 4 star (although the deal I got was great)
We arrived on a public holiday and the hotel was very quiet. Reception staff were most helpful. The room was clean and well appointed. The location of the hotel is such that it is only minutes walk from the historic centre of Murcia and from a wide selection of places to eat. As with many city centre hotels in Spain, the car park is a nightmare with limited space and many obstructions. A public car park is nearby and would have been a better option. Our room on the first floor overlooked the square at the rear of the hotel and it was not possible to obscure the windows to stop being overlooked. The curtains were heavy and almost blacked out the room.
The staff were very friendly, helpful and obliging Although touted as being a 4*, this was probably awarded some years ago - the rooms could do with a 'refresh'.
Location and staff friendliness. Pillows were rather flat and uncomfortable.
Central, good restaurants very close, very efficient desk and parking service room small, but no problem for short stay
nice building, very central and good breakfast slightly tired paintwork
Visiting the sights of the city of Murcia Nothing really.
Perfectly clean, quiet, mini bar with no charge!!! Room service 24 hours is not available - at 7 a.m. on the week-end there is not breakfast time yet but you can not order coffee in the room!
It was perfect for a few days. My GPS couldn't find it.
clean comfortable rooms, free mini bar and acessories in bathroom price of breakfast and bar
Hotel was clean and modern Pool was closed
The hotel was very close to the tram line which brought you into the city centre. Staff were very friendly. Air conditioning in the bedroom didn't work very well despite turning it down to the coolest point.
The room was very nice and big
Desing and confort in the hotel. Also late checkout available till 2 pm without extra cost.
clean, very friendly staff building works in the area
Nice view from the 7th floor but the hotel is a little bit far from the city Murcia.
The hotel is clean and modern free of noise and has comfortable accomodations.
Modern and clean rooms, brand new hotel as of June 2009. Still some work being carried out in some parts of the hotel. Surprinsigly breakfast was not included as was specified at the time of booking (additional 11,70€), and fitness/pool facilities are also not included and cost an additional 2€ fee each time.
Just stopped by travelling to Costa del Sol
I have stayed at this hotell several times, I think the hotel and the staff are excellent and I look forward to my next visit!
The staff were friendly and approachabe and treid to help us giving advice about where to go and how to get there. The dinner was enjoyable and reasonaby priced. They advertised a gym and swimming pool but this was outside the hotel and we had to pay 2 Euros. There was no sauna. The breakfast was poor with ony toast at the week-end and melon and pineapple
Good rapport of quality/price plus the possibility of free use of gym and pool in a facility closeby the hotel. Evrything was meeting my expectation.
very comfortable nothing
It was clean and central The room was on the small side and the breakfast was prettyu limited (shortage of fresh fruit and lacked variety)
We were very pleased with this hotel. The position is very central and the price was reasonable. We shall use again when visiting Murcia.
Comfortable, clean, close to the city center and central bus station. The breakfast was poor - just few pieces of cheese and ham, dried off and shrunk...
Morning meal was good but felt rushed by staff to leave at 10:00 AM Lack of parking a problem even at check in. Surrounded by old buildings and neighborhood.
Bottled water should be made available at all times.
Ok space might be little small in the room but I really prefer this hotel than many other 4* hotels. Even if "on the street" hotel is quiet for the location. Staff was execellent and i'm sorry for not finding the same guy on reception when leaving as I wanted to thank him for the room he gave us; the window was on the street and gave us the opportunity on 1st of may to have a priviledged view over a local celebration in the church in front of the hotel. Room is very clean and well designed/furbished considering infrastructural limits. Breakfast was very good and also a good choice we'd recommend. We were in a city trip but the hotel is also best for business. Well, yes the big problem is parking and being by car we've lost more than 1+1/2 hour to be lucky enough to find a parking place (in a forbidden area anyway). A towel hang was unsticked but this is suck a minor item compared to the rest that I still keep on suggesting the hotel (unless you're nervous on parking)
Good locaton in the middle of the city.
This hotel was central to where I needed to be. Everything in the room was smart, clean and worked! Despite being in a busy location, it was not noisy. Staff were always accomodating and friendly. My previous experiences of single rooms left a lot to be desired, but not this one. I thought it was excellent. The only thing (and this is very minor indeed) is that my room only had a window looking out into the central shaft, so it was pretty dark all the time and I could never tell what the weather was like.
The hotel is fully renewed, the room was very nice and confortable, nice TV set, complete (and expensive as everywhere else) minibar. Fairly good shower too. The cleaning service is quite noisy, forget about sleeping until 9. Breakfast is rather poor and absolutely not worth the 8 euros it costs.
Close to shopping we did leave after 1 night as was not in walking distance to the arena as we had been told. Were remoldeling so a bit askew. The person in the room next door took a shower at 4am and I thought I was in a raging waterfall as the wall was very thin apparently.
Hotel very nice but very hard to find!!
In the middle of town, especially useful during fiesta parking available, but access a bit difficult
The location was good near the centre of the city and the hotel staff was friendly. Many of the hotel staff did not speak english, but the were though eager to serve in spite of the common language.
Ideal location for exploring the old town and cathedral . Helpful and friendly staff, bedroom clean and bright Bathroom very small with only a half bath. Walls are very thin, you can hear people next door quite easily
very central staff very poor at english.first room given was very poor,I was moved
The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The location was just perfect in the center of the city, while it was cozy and quite.
city trip the hotel need to be renovated, it is quite outdated style, but nice price & services
location convenient for site seeing and shopping. Staff very helpful and courteous .Although we arrived two hours before check in it was no bother to them and we were allocated a room immediately
Location of Hotel to main areas of interest Lack of bar facilities, although coffee bar was open on our last day.
Reception staff were very helpful at all times, the twin room was cleaned daily & was comfortable.
Convenience for the city The restaurant belonging to the sister hotel across the road had an award for quality. We found it poor and quite expensive for the current climate.
The Reception staff were friendly and welcoming, and spoke both English and Spanish. The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. Whilst the Hotel is not central, it is only a few minute's walk into the heart of this cultural city. An excellent location made for a good night's sleep. Whilst the underground carpark is adequate, some of the spaces could do with a little more room, and exiting is tight with a larger car. As far as the room goes, the only thing I would add is tea/ coffee making facilities.
Nice and cleam room, friendly staff, location. It was not really easy to find.
The Staff made every effort to accommodation our lask of Spanish speaking to us in English where possible. A Taxi was called for our very early start which was very much appriceiated. All in all a very nice stay.
Good location, clean and comfortable. Room had mini fridge which was great.
Excellent position to explore Murcia city We felt the reception staff were not very friendly
We love Murcia. Very clean very beautiful city to visit people nice and overall. 10 Nothing. Like. All
Good location, clean and quiet Charges for car parking
Adequate for a short stay. Good value for money. Claen and compact Easy and inexpensive car parking at hotel, without it parking would have been a nightmare
Location was good for accessing the city centre and the staff were very helpful & friendly
Comfortable room at a very good price. good location for exploring city on foot
The room is clean and there is not moquette on the floor. It's locates in a little road, that is a little bit hidden. I had difficulty with the car for finding it.
Room was clean The room was too hot and we couldn't adjust the temp
Friendly and helpful staff, very clean room, reasonably good for city centre, onsite parking, walkable distance to main city centre.
Convenient location in a quiet street with friendly helpful staff. Close to local bars and restaurants. Room allocated had one window which opened into a light shaft Access to and parking in hotel garage quite difficult for large car.
Good value for the money
The room was nicer than we expected it to be. For a short-term budget stay, everything was just fine. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, and the bar/cafe was not where to get a cup of anything since it was closed in the evening. The staff was always friendly and helpful but only the receptionist had any English.
