Very clean place, loved the complimentary breakfast and other complimentary amenities. My friend and I had a hard time connecting to the wifi, but we didn't care about it too much to figure it out.
Front desk staff was not helpful at all. I had wanted a much quieter room due to another room being worked on. Too noisy ! Will not visit or recommend this particular best western . I have stayed at a best western in Brooklyn New York and they were way more helpful.
Friendly staff, easy check in/check out. Rooms clean and well appointed. Good location, close to airport and other services. A little noisy, but only because youth football teams staying there at time of our stay.
Quiet, comfortable beds, spacious rooms. There was blood on my comforter, it took 45 minutes for the staff to bring a clean one.
Convenient location, professional staff, breakfast included with stay Rooms smelled of lingering cleansers of faint floral notes. I would rather like the smell of bleach or pine or citrus vs. Cheap fliral scent.
Value for money. Clean, comfortable room. Benchmark of a $99 hotel. Free parking, free FAST wifi, great helpful staff--which are apparently hard to find these days. They put the best in Best Western. Nuff said. Breakfast was just ok, but the best among comparable hotels.
The staffs were really nice, good breakfast and nice swimming pool! The breakfast room was over crowded and the sink in our room was a bit stinky
It was very easy to book. I ended up having to book two separate nights at the last minute. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was satisfactory. The rooms were comfortable. The elevator was a little rickety.
Asked for a quiet room, he put me in a corner on the top floor. Convenient location. Desk chair not very comfortable if you need to work for a while. Had to clean lime deposits out of shower head so it didn't feel like aquatic laser needles.
The rooms were nice, staff was friendly, beds were comfortable, location was easy to find. The breakfast is a bit chaotic. They need a bigger space for that. But the food was good!
Loved the heated pool and made to order breakfast!! Nice location, all staff was friendly. Definitely recommend it
Room was clean and just what I needed for the weekend.
Quick check in. Very clean room.Close to all our activities. 12 min to Disneyland,17 min to Laguna Beach. 5 min to Airport. Very good parking. Well lit grounds. Overall Great stay. Staff seemed very neutral.
Coctail hour and made to order breakfast was a great way to start and end the day The climate control for the room is based on the season and weather. It didnt get cold enough for my liking. No real complaint though
Friendliness of staff , very comfortable and the hospitality wa above and beyond. $15 per night parking
A truly good hot breakfast. The maids didn't clean/tidy our room for the second nights stay. Also, the pillows are awful. The front desk offered a foam pillow, but it was never delivered! One of the two TVs didn't work correctly and maintenance guy said other rooms were problematic too. The wifi was slow most of the time. Lastly, having to pay $15 per night for parking is ridiculous. I did however get that waived because of all the mentioned room issues.
The atmosphere and decor are excellent. The staff was very helpful in meeting my needs. Overall, a great stay and experience.. Thank you The elevators need some upgrading. I think they are very slow . I also think that the toilet and shower drains were very slow.
Good breakfast The Front Office Director is the worst ever, exactly the one who was Duty Manager on 5/23/2015. He is mean to the guests and does everything he can to NOT help them. I would have rated this hotel as average if it was not of this individual who ruined my day with my family.
The size of the room was great, the location was easily accessible to the freeway, the complimentary breakfast was gteat, the cocktail hour was nice just maybe needed a better selection of alchohol. The public area could have been cleaner, room service trays would stay in the hallways all day, the elevators were in desperate need of vacuuming. The front desk staff could have been more friendly, upbeat, and helpful. We had a small issue the night before check out, my car battery died. I figured security could give up a jump in the morning ingredients when we checked out. Upon check out I asked if they could and the front desk agent saI'd no, we asked why and the answer was simply we can't. She suggested maybe we ask the valet, so we did and he said no. They had their shuttle vehicle, a big SUV, just sitting up front, I asked if they could use that, the answer was still no. Unfortunately they seemed to be okay with us being stranded in their parking lot. They were zero help, along with the fact they just didn't care.
mediocre breakfast however great made to order omelets. All come with your stay which is worth the hotel in itself.
No hassle got what I paid for
Beatrice at the front desk was so much help, she directed us to all the coolest places to go. She made our stay amazing!
The guys at the front desk have a back for hospitality and I loved the jokes!! The over all appearance is charming and welcoming. The room is well designed and comfortable. The price was extremely fair for the amazing value this hotel offers. I would gladly stay here again. Also I'd recommend it to anyone that inquiries about local hotels... The charge for parking... But I get it!
The staff was and is amazing I don't realized you need your key room to leave the parking lot.
Location and luxury I did not like that we had to pay $18 for parking per day. Also how can breakfast not be included in our room for $100. I might as well have stayed at a 75 dollar hotel with free breakfast and parking!
Good location, very nicely decorated. Employees were all very nice and helpful. Rooms had everything needed. Nice beds. parking was 20.00 valet daily or 18.00 self park.
Location to airport and comfort of the room. Parking fee for self park was $18.00
They had a room at an excellent price. We were stranded by Frontier Air with no options and had to extend our stay in So Cal. Quickly went to web and found this. I had stayed here before for work and found it a good value.
Clean and modern amenities, great location. Complimentary cookies and coffee are always a plus. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking garage was a continual problem. Room keys did not function as intended to get in/out of garage gate, even after getting 3 different sets of room keys. Also, not enough parking spaces.
All the staff made you feel at home . The entire operation was very well run and the upkeep was fantastic so there really isn't a negative in my opinion .
The restaurant was severly understaffed both at dinner and at breakfast the following morning
The staff was always warm and welcoming. Cookies were delicious, hotel exceeded my expectations. Rooms were ridiculously clean. Pool was nice! $18/night for parking! Just know this ahead of time so you aren't surprised like I was haha :) Also, no fans in the restroom which is weird but we managed.
I liked the free shuttle. That was great. Bathroom was small, cracked sink, it took forever to get hot water in shower. Called ahead for early check in. Rooms were not ready until after 5 which is well after suggested check in time. I'm still mad about that.
At no point during my reservation process was there any indication parking was an additional fee. I looked on the hotel's website, my confirmation, etc. and did not find anything indicating I would be charged a parking fee in addition to my room rate. Room was extremely outdated. Bathroom was the size of a small closet. Room felt muggy regardless of the temperature. Room refrigerator did not work well. During check-in, front desk staff was extremely kind and friendly. Can't say the same during check out. The man at the desk seemed inconvenienced he had to help us. Restraunt staff told us they could not accommodate the size of our large extended family as one group for dinner (there were about 10 of us) because they didn't have room in their EMPTY restaurant, but could accommodate by seating us at separate tables. Our initial waiter was rude and wouldn't wait for all of our group to be ready before he started taking orders, so half of our group got their food and was done eating before the other half got their food. Breakfast trips to the restaurant were fine as breakfast is offered buffet style. Overall, if I ended up at this hotel again, it wouldn't be the end of the world. However, I honestly wouldn't go out of my way to stay at this hotel again. I feel there are better values for less money in some of the surrounding area hotels.
They had excellent staff and building was very clean inside The price of the restaurant inside was too pricey for a family
The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. It amazing to have a free shuttle to take you and pick you up from Disneyland and is only a couple minutes away! That breakfast was included in our stay and was kind of pricey for a family of 4.
Close to disneyland Room smells
Reasonably close to Disneyland, and the linens were clean. Our "renovated room" had a bizarrely small bathroom, and the door to the garden (we were on the first floor) had such poor insulation that it sounded like the door was open.
Very nice hotel with an excellent garden. Conveniently located near Disney. We could watch the fireworks from our hotel room. Our bathroom sink and shower would not drain.
The hotel was perfect... check in was fast... the beds and pillows were amazingly comfortable.. the rooms were very clean... my husband and I stayed behind while my mother and daughter went back to Disneyland and the shuttle took them and picked them up right at midnight... I am very satisfied with our stay... the hotel is only a block north of the park at a super close and great location!
Proximity to Disneyland -room was dark, dingy and smelled like mildew -noisy. Can hear everyone outside and all times of day/night -breakfast area was so small and extremely packed with people we ended up going next door to a restaurant and paying for breakfast instead
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The description and details about the facility were inaccurate. The room was run down and in need of renovation. I would never stay here again.
I like the rooms they were spacious and nice. Though the furniture was a little run down beds were very comfortable. I had to pay for parking 14$ a day!
The housekeeping staff was very efficient and really tried to accommodated my needs. Having to pay for Wi-Fi (I think it was $12.95 for regular service and $14.95 for high speed). And for parking: $24.00 per nite. I'm guessing this might be the industry standard in this area, but what a shame
I really like the staff there was a young lady that helped me at the desk she was amazing. I had booked thru a third party and there was some errors she corrected them and got me adjoining rooms for my kids that drive in the next day.
We were a couple wanting a king size bed, which we reserved and the hotel gave us a room eith two doubles and would not make any accomodations for the fact that they allegedly did not have any king beds. So we opted to go somewhere else.
Close to Disneyland and it's a nice area No body soap or toilet paper was in the room and had to pay to park and pay for internet
Great staff! Very eager to help. Great location to Disneyland. Very expensive food. Not suited for families because of the high cost of food. Nice pool. Clean lobby, pool area and dinning areas. Cost $41 to park your car in self parking! This for 1 day & a half of parking! Absurd! $17 for a hamburger that wasn't all that great! All the food was way over priced. Got a New York steak that was soo charred on the outside and way over priced...$55 with NO side dishes, no salad. Rooms smelled terrible! We changed rooms 3 times. The 3 rd room was better, but not by much. Their $150 delux room is a very small box of a room. Very cramped! No bathroom fans either. So when you take a shower, the bathroom fills with moisture to the pint that it's dripping off the walls! And then the moisture fills the main room when you open the bathroom door. No wonder the rooms smell badly!
The balcony was a cool area. The heating/cooling unit was EXTREMELY loud! The room itself was okay, but to charge guests that are staying at the hotel $25 per night for parking is pretty ridiculous and excessive. Furthermore, this hotel still charges its guests for internet acess!!?? This is the first time I have been charged for WIFI in California is the past 5 years. Get with the times, Marriot. The hotel wasn't that great to begin with.
LOCATION the rooms under the rate that you offer me, are old and dirty rooms. this situation happened to me several times. On front desk, as soon as they saw that my reservation is mad by you, they make me feel like low profile customer.
The hotel, staff, location, facilities and basically all needs were very well addressed and made the stay wonderful. I couldn't have found a better place to stay to make the trip to Disneyland a great experience I really have no complaints about any aspect of my stay at the hotel
Great staff nice rooms. The engineer who replaced the air conditioner was awesome did a great job to save us on a hot weekend. The air conditioner broke had to be replaced at 10 o'clock at night. Parking is expensive.
There were ants in my bathroom on the day I arrived and I told about that to the people at the lobby but housekeeping never came within 20 minutes, which they promised. When I left I told them what happened but they never did anything to compensate for the filthy bathroom that I got. Very disappointed.
Extremely close to Anaheim convention center where I was attending a trade show. Very pleasant and accommodating staff. Comfortable lobby bar for relaxation after a day on the trade show floor. Good restaurant and food. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any business traveler.
Great loacation and staff was outstanding Noise from fitness club could be heard every morning beginning at 5:00 AM. Restaurant prices were a bit high for goods received
Loved the staff and the cleanliness of the shower. This is an up to date hotel and you can't beat the price. If you need more coffee cups or cream and sugar the personnel at the reception desk will be happy to help. Parking lot fills up fast but the valet guy let us park in a spot close to the front.
Everything was great except the knock at the door at 8:00 a.m. From housekeeping wanting to clean the room. We had arrived very late & some of my group wasn't even awake yet. Then housekeeping proceeded to clean the adjacent rooms so loudly we all ended up getting up & getting ready bevausr it was so loud nobody could rest. If the point was to get us to check out early it worked. We checked out by 9:00 because it was so loud.
Cheapest clean hotel I could find. Shower doesn't need but would be nice if was upgraded.
Very nice rooms, had pool and hot tub, very close to the airport, had free shuttle that worked great to get to the airport. No continental breakfast
Clean No complimentary breakfast as indicated on Add; a bit misleading but ok none the less
Room was clean, location was great. Room's a little small.
no USB port in the room
The rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel staff was polite and efficient. We stayed at this hotel to attend to the final details of my father's funeral. We were charged additional fees daily for parking, even though they had no parking available to us. Their lot is very small and we had to pay to park in a structure for a neighboring business both days. They also added to holds to our card for incidentals and didn't know why.
Very clean Parking was $18 for 2 cars
Full breakfast meal and great staff Not as nice as the pictures showed onlinre
Decent looking, well maintained property overall. Good value for the money as we were able to get a nice room with a seperate living room space with hide-a-bed sofa and additional TV for $99.00 per night. Room also had mini-fridge, microwave and wet bar sink in the living room space. Bed was quite comfortable as well. Location is ok, about 25 minutes from Laguna Beach. Very generous breakfast buffet included each morning until 10:00 as well. Only negative is that the walls/ceilings are a little thin as there was some noise from adjacent rooms. Not too bad in our particular case but might be bothersome if louder teens or college kids, etc. were rooming next door. Overall I would say four out of five stars:).
the staff they are very helpful and cordial special thanks to the manager he is very nice when ask if every thing its ok with the breakfast and with the hotel thank you very much every thing was ok overall
The room was amazing! Cozy, yet spacious enough that everyone was comfortable. The breakfast is delicious! Very filling and satisfying.
Comfortable and quiet bed Location of my room and elevator. Also, the WiFi was soooo slow. ~150kbit per second and lower for download throughout the facility.
It was close to area I needed to be in. The rooms were old. It smelled funny. Our shower was not working. It took 10 minutes for the water to warm up from ice cold to luke warm, then while showering it became extremely hot to ice cold every other second. It was frustrating trying to take a shower.
Everything was cleanqnd set perfectly. The room was next to the laundry room so while the washer was on I though there was an earthquake happening
Everyone gave very good service
Clean place and great location. No microwave in room and slow (free) wifi.
I chose the hotel because it has a pool, hot tub and a good location. I didn't eat the breakfast but I believe it was a typical hotel breakfast. The hotel is pet friendly and there is pretty good green spaces to walk your dog. The hotel is on a small street with several hotels. It is safe and conveniently located off the freeway and near restaurants and shopping in Tustin, Irvine and of course, Santa Ana. The hotel was pretty quiet although I did hear kids screaming at the pool which is located in the center of the hotel. The location is clean but it could use a deep clean such as in the vending machine/laundry room. The room itself was clean and comfortable but could use a facelift.
The staff was spectacular and accommodating. The room was super clean. We left a little late in there morning on one of our travel days and the cleaning staff still refreshed our room. The value was great, we probably would have paid a little more for a double queen but I'm not sure they were available as this is my first time booking this hotel and honestly i didn't ask
I thought the room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly . The closet door would not close, and the toilet was acting up but overall I had a good stay.
The staff was very friendly. It was nice to have everyday room tidying. All basic necessities and the free wifi was greatly appreciated. Did not like the peanut butter at the breakfast. Very old and hard. Carpets did not seem like they are thoroughly cleaned or steamed often. No safe for valuables.
Great place, clean and quite, The beds are to small (full sides)
the bathroom didn't seem like they had taken their time to clean it. the bathroom sink handled were dirty. we got serviced but they still didn't clean the bathroom.
I could send a picture of the mold on the white comforter but there's no place to add it if I didn't get back to my room so late and needed to be at work by 6 o'clock the next morning I would have left it was that gross there was a hair or two left in the bathroom and the room just smells stale
Courteous staff, very accommodating
After paying online for the room, calling to confirm the reservation and check in time, when I irrived and was told of the $75 deposit neded, had to drive to bank and make a deposit before getting sine rest from a 10hr dtive. Why isn't a deposit of nearly 60% of room cost mentioned prior to?
Liked the atmosphere, the room was nice and it was quiet at nught. The smell of musty carpet and dust. The dead plants.
Easy check in process. A lot of parking. Comes with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Comfy bed. Pretty quiet. Breakfast should be extended since check out is at noon. Walls are a little thin. Could hear someone snoring next door.
Room was large and price was less when I paid then when I booked which was a pleasant surprise. For the most part the staff were very kind. I called the front desk around 9:30 pm asking if he could run some scissors up to my room so I could cut something and he said they are here at the desk, so I said okay I'll just come down then I guess, and he hung up on me. I also noticed in the morning they answer with "Good Morning this is Ashley how can I assist you?" and at night they say "front desk". Thought that was a little odd.
Courteous, professional, friendly staff. Quiet rooms. Weak wi-fi in the back rooms (10208) section.
Proximity to work location Filthy room, mold, mildew and rot on most wood in room. Window facing major road in shower, thin walls, broken remote, old loud air conditioner, small black bugs under plastic cover on bed, overall unsanitary conditions and loud neighbors.
The room was not clean. With hairs in the shower of previous guests and I found a cockroach inside the room
Can't beat the location, an easy walk to Downtown Disney/Grand California. Well appointed, comfortable rooms. Nice staff and facilities.
The online company I used for the reservation didn't get it to the hotel in a timely maner, and therefore check-in was delayed
Everything was great Clean rooms, great staff, price was just right, even the food was good ........ unfortunately there was a couple smoking pot at the stairs and the smell went inside our room I don't care if they smoke but I think they shouldn't done were there's young children around....
Location was good. It was very close to the Disneyland shuttle. The restaurant was good, and the restaurant staff was friendly and helpful. I dropped money, I.d., and credit cards, and Jeffery found it for me. Thanks Jeffery!! The walls and ceiling were thin, and we got very little sleep. The staff was hit or miss with helpfulness and friendliness. It didn't strike me as that clean. I wouldn't stay there again.
Friendly staff, walking distance to Disneyland Room quality and cleanliness subpar, basic amenities (rollaway bed, pack and play, wifi beyond limited speed on one day) all required an additional charge. The appeal of the price, location, and attractive online photos quickly dissipated once arriving to our actual room. Better off paying a little more for a premium hotel in the area which ends up being around the same, since they won't nickel and dime you the entire stay.
Room was cute, spacious, grounds are beautiful and location is prime. Shower pressure and temperature were fantastic. Room needs updating. While cute, every panel of the wallpaper is peeling off the walls. There was a makeshift cover for the fuse box that was falling off the walls with exposed screws. Windows opened to exterior building walls. There was only 1 nightstand by the bed, no conditioner, shower cap, or tea by the coffee pot. General condition of the furnishings were old and need to be replaced. They overcharged me for parking, normally $20/car/night, and couldn't figure out what the problem was after they had already charged my card on file. Parking is a nightmare and is small and cramped.
My kids of course loved the pool It did say it was across the street from Disneyland but it was behind the park and was way to far of a walk for my grandfather just to get to entrance.
Location was spot on for Disneyland. I like it even better than the hotels on Harbor for this. Staff was friendly and room and facility were clean. They had a party in the restaurant but we were really pleased it wrapped up before 10 Room was really stale smelling and everything we have smells like that. Bed was really saggy and uncomfortable. broken stuff in the bathroom, Generally needs an update. We were also looking forward to a jacuzzi soak after our run but there wasn't one.
My experience was unfortunately a very disappointing one. We checked into the hotel and upon walking into our room, discovered our remote control did not work. This was not a problem and I looked past this. The next morning I woke up to a foul smelling bathroom, the shower was filling up with septic water and spilling into our room. I spoke with maintenance and they said they would talk to the font desk about giving us a discount, especially after we paid a significant amount more for our second day there. When checking out, I was told by the front desk to wait to speak to a manager. I then proceeded to wait 15 minutes for said manager and finally lost my patience. I returned to the person at the front desk and they told me "Oh, you were waiting on a manager?", and then said I would have to wait for them longer because they were "helping another guest, OR busy with something else." I simply said thank you and walked away. I have never had such a negative experience at a hotel and would hope that they read this and improve their hospitality. It is such a disappointment for having such a great location and beautiful grounds.
Great service and the staff was very friendly and nice.
Very convenient to Disneyland. Clean, comfortable hotel, felt safe there. The cooling/heating system can only do either air conditioning or heating. I was cold and had to get a space heater to heat the room.
Location to Disneyland. The A/C did not work in the room, as soon as we walked in the hotel room there was a strong weird smell. We had to leave the sliding door open to vent out the smell. Not to mention the ants roaming freely in the room. I also noticed a flaw in security, as in I cannot recall seeing any on the premises. One is able to walk through the hotel like nothing, I did not feel safe at this hotel.
We had a great stay! We had the same maid each morning that greated us in the hallways. Construction was going on next door but never heard anything because it was on the side with a view and that was the opposite side than us. Starbucks in the lobby! The only bad thing was the outlets in the room were spotty. You had to wiggle it just right to get to work and one morning I woke and my phone was dead, so missed an hour at the park because of it. We also had a ding in my new car's fender the first night there, inconsiderate driver. Might be worth valet parking. But not hotels fault. Just wish I knew who did it. Other than that everything was very nice!
Pool Bed was uncomfortable. The hook behind the door was broken, the water sprinkler in the room look broken. Very basic hotel. WiFi didn't work. Then I was almost charged for it after I had been talking to staff about not being able to get it to work. Cable wasn't great. There is a store that sells food. We ordered a bagel and it was hard.
Location was great. The shower could use some updates.
Close to Disneyland The in house restaurant has aweful service. I went when there were less than 10 customers and never had water or even saw our waiter. Other tables were requesting their waiter. Not a good experience. I wont stay here again.
Great hotel, cleanliness was great, staff were extra nice, for a big hotel close to Disneyland it was not overly crowded Hotel has no shuttle to Disneyland, this is probably the only one downside
Location. Quality not inpar with other Sheraton hotels
Thin exterior walls. Could hear all the service vehicles making deliveries and pick ups early in the morning.
Breakfast was fantastic. Pay for parking? I already apid for the room, now I need to pay for my one and only car to use your parking lot? It should be for guests and should be included in my room price. Separate sitting room in this "suite" is a joke. Its a table in the same room as the beds. That is NOT separate.
Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Very noisy building. Had to sleep with air conditioning on in o Order to try to sleep.
Convenient location to Disneyland, Anaheim stadium, Honda center and freeways. Quiet, comfortable rooms, free breakfast, free evening snacks and free internet Tiny lobby with little room during evening snacks
Very friendly staff, clean rooms and comfortable beds! Will definitly stay here again! N/a
Breakfast buffet was very beneficial for my family. With four young children it's one of the reasons my wife and I prefer your hotel over others. I wasn't aware that if I used handicapped parking during my entire stay, that I would still get charged a $10 daily fee. That seems very odd considering that any vehicle with a valid handicap placard, can't be towed anyway. You may also want to reconsider the setup of rooms for those who are staying with small children. The Portofinos selling point for me was the bunk beds for the kids and the sliding doors that separate the kids room from the parents room. Please consider adding at least three 2.1 amp USB ports to your rooms. A digitally connected family like mine would greatly benefit if there are various charging points for our phones and tablets.
I ENJOYED MY STAY AT AYRES. THE STAFF WAS WONDERFUL, AND I FELT COMFORTABLE THERE. GREAT KITCHENETTE AND LOTS OF SPACE AND WORK FEEL. I WASN'T A FAN OF EXTRA PARKING COSTS NOR THE LONG HALLWAYS, WHICH EVENTUALLY I LEARNED THAT IT WAS QUICKER TO GO IN AND OUT THROUGH THE STAIRS OF ONE SIDE OF THE BUILDING.
Loved the breakfast and friendly staff! Quiet, comfortable hotel! Would recommend to anyone!! Didn't like paying extra for parking.
Drove up from San Diego for a hockey game at Honda Center and stayed here for the night. Couldn't ask for better location. On top of that staff is friendly and rooms were clean and comfortable! Oh and happy hour 5:30-6:30 includes free drinks and appetizers! Awesome!
the room size, amenities, cleanliness, privacy, quietness, but most of all the very professional and helpful staff nothing
Everything but the size of the room was good to excellent. Everything! The room was narrow and compressed for two people, otherwise excellent. We will definitely stay again!
Nice area and room was ok. And staff very helpful In first room sink got backed up stinking up room. But they did transfer us to another room
The room was very comfortable and clean, everything was fine. no
Service was superb. Friendly staff and accommodating. Nothing
Friendliness of staff. Room rate is reasonable. Difficult to communicate with cleaning staff. In seeing them on floor, asked them for a trashcan for the bathroom, box of facial tissues, etc and each of them could not understand. Had to ask at front desk for several times to finally get a trashcan. Towels were not replenished completely. For instance, only 1 bath towel would be furnished and face and hand towel would be missing. Suggestion: Have towels, tioletries, etc available upon request in an area behind front desk so housekeeping does not have to make a separate trip to a person's room. It appears time would be saved on part of staff plus one then has to wait until the staff comes by. Unusual and extremely bright night light does not turn off on top of coffee maker. Asked at front desk and a maintenance person was sent up. However, he did not speak English and could not explain or fix the situation. Instead he said I was in an Honor's Member Room. So we draped a towel over it at night to avoid the bright light shining all night long.
The manager Mr Kumar was very polite and granted me a early check in after driving 6 hours with the family. He Always greeted me by name. My daughter loved the lake with the duckies. The beds were uncomfortable and the breakfast wasn't worth the 15 dollars per person
Staff was very helpful and nice. Free cookies from front desk at check in - our daughter loved that. Room was decent size and we had everything we needed. Would benefit from having even a simple continental breakfast, especially considering guests have to pay an extra $11 for parking. The breakfast is a little pricey, all things considered.
1. We werent givin the room we requested 2. The room we stayed in was cleaned very well as there was hair in the shower and a half roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. And 3. This is the major one. Despite booking and paying for the room in advance through a travel site, the hotel also charged me for the stay with the card i gave them for the security hold. I have called amd left messages 3 times and still have yet to receive a refund or even a call back about the mattet.
The only thing nice I could say is the they have a refrigerator and microwave. Was was just so old and dirty and gross. The rooms are not big and the air conditioning is in the front room and it gets so cold there and stays hot in the bedroom because the air doesn't flow there. Everything looks like it was original with the hotel which is old. The bathroom was so gross and dirty we didn't shower or give the kids a bath in the tub. It was just peeling off. We will never be staying here again!
Didn't like that we have to pay $10 a night for parking and the noise level was terrible
Room was clean Separate shower and sink area a plus Included breakfast was awesome.
Bed was comfortable Had to pay $10 a day to park and they didn'thave enough parking spots. The ACTUAL didn't cool the room. The complimentary breakfast was crowded ,place was dirty and the food was awful. Asking help with direction was pitiful
Crazy close to Disneyland, the staff was really nice and breakfast was fantastic. Had to pay 10$ a night for parking extra which was a surprise.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, check in and out was super easy. Stuff was super friendly. Love the free breakfast, it really helps you save money if you have a full breakfast you can last until a early dinner. Only a few min walk to park... Carpet was a little outdated.
We stayed at this hotel while in town for Disneyland's Half Marathon Weekend. Overall, great value for the money, clean, and proximity to Disney Parks was especially convenient. The A/C unit is a bit loud, which makes it hard to sleep or hear your tv.
The hotel is super close to Disneyland without ridiculous prices. Also, it has the convenience of a motel but the luxury of a hotel and is really clean with a nice breakfast each morning. There is rarely parking available on busy days and therefore I was told by staff to park in handicaps, red fire zones, and other places where I didn't feel was safe to park my car
We arrived EARLY and they accommodated our early check in thanks to an empty room. The room itself was clean me organized. The sheets were fresh, the mattresses soft and supportive, but the bathroom was tiny and the rugs a little worn. We enjoyed the free breakfast, though the selection is rather limited. The staff was friendly and attentive, had answers for all my questions. Even the people staying alongside us were pleasant and non-disruptive. Having stayed in the other best western's around, this by far was the best experience. I honestly have no negative reviews.
Walking distance to enter the park via the Grand Californian Hotel and Downtown Disney. Good, basic hotel room to stay in close to the parks. Checked in at 11pm, walked all the way to the room with a tired wife and tired 4 year old. Room key did not work. Walked all the way back and the staff did not apologize at all. Just made a new key and said "you should be good." Small but infuriating detail. Breakfast time is a zoo.
The location was fantastic as it's across the street to Disneyland California Adventure. The rooms have been maintained well or have been remodeled recently and include a decent sized mini-fridge. Free continental breakfast was nice to have. Parking was easy. Hot tea b and pool were nice and had a great view of nightly Disney fireworks. Overall it was a good value. The beds were substandard. They were like sleeping on a trampoline. The pillows were so thick and dense they were uncomfortable. But the comforters were thin, not much thicker than sheets. The hotel was very busy, and so the breakfast was a disaster to access and they were out of half of the items early. The elevator was out of order so I had to carry my heavy bags to the third floor. You can hear people walk past your room or talking outside the room.

Friendly staff. Good value. Room was nice. Breakfast needs improvement. Ran out of forks and orange juice. Quite a long walk to Downtown Disney.
Traveled as a multi-generational family group. We greatly appreciated how soundproof this hotel is. Plenty of water pressure at the right temperature too. And enough elevators for minimal wait time. We could have used electrical outlets for cell phones at the bedside but this is a minor improvement suggestion.
Our stay was for our 30th wedding anniversary, and the hotel staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, & special. Although the prices seem a little high for most people, our stay was very enjoyable. We will be returning in the future. The only negatives to our trip were the Disneyland Railroad, Haunted Mansion, and River Boats were closed. Also, I was looking for a Disneyland Railroad Engineer hat, but was only able to find a Conductor's hat.. Lastly, there were no hats for the Disneyland Monorail.
Love the themes and decor, and the perks that come with staying at a Disneyland resort hotel. The headboard that lights up and plays music (and serves as a great nightlight) is lovely. We had a room in the Adventure Tower facing Downtown Disney this time, and while we didn't care about the view (in this case, plants from the Adventure garden blocked pretty much anything we could see from the 2nd floor), what we didn't like was how loud the music was from Downtown Disney. We also learned that although we could only see a tiny amount of fireworks from Disneyland, we could hear all of them and they were pretty much as loud as they are when you're in the park. I'm still shocked that my kids slept through the music and fireworks that first night. On our third night, the older one was still awake when they started and used earplugs to get to sleep. The live music didn't stop until 10 pm even on weeknights, which meant we didn't get to enjoy the peace and quiet of the room (after being in the parks all day) until then. If you're not bothered by noise, it won't be a problem, but if you are, consider requesting a pool-view room.
overall the pools + the room were OK no breakfast, not enough characters plqying with kids unless you make it at Goofy's
Our room was great, and so was every cast member. I couldnt buy the throw pillow which was on each bed.
I pretty much LOVED everything about the Disneyland Hotel ... The hype is true We didn't get a discount with our Annual Passes
I stayed at the Paradise Pier Hotel several times. I love how roomy it is and very relaxing! I like the view from the rooms...one side you can watch World of Color with the television playing the sounds for the show! We stay with a family of four, there is a sofa that turns into a bed. The toiletries are very nice!!! If you stay at a Disney property, you can use the special entrance from the Grand Californian. The Surfside Lounge is a bar/ snack shop you can warm up food (there is a microwave!) and pick up utensils (fork, knife, spoon or condiments). I personally like the vending machines on the ground floor..it is in a room by itself! PCH Grill is great during breakfast and looks fun at dinner time too! I whole hearted recommend staying here with everybody!! Upper level soda machines take only credit cards. Wish there was more food eateries.
The room was very nice and the view was amazing. No complaints, we got a great deal and would stay here again.
Close to theme park with early entrance Very noisy, staff unappreciative of guests, staff non responsive to complaints, room service quality is mediocre.
The lobby was beautiful, the service was excellent, the location was perfect for visiting the parks and downtown Disney, and the room was big. While the room was large, it wasn't anything amazing for the price.
We loved our stay here. Our family can't wait to return! We loved the pools, the closeness to the park (our room over looked it!) and the on site character breakfast. Also loved the bunk beds for kids There is a Loud speaker in the park that they do announcements on. You could here that muffled early in AM or late at night from our room. Needs a new shower head.
