Free parking place. Nice apartment. Very nice staff
Very charming old wooden house. Spacious room, good food. The bath tub was dangerous. It is very slippery and there is nothing to hold on. Also no holder for the shower, you have to keep it in your hand, which makes it even more difficult.
i liked almost everything about this hotel: the location, the friendliness of the staff, their breakfasts, etc. I was not very fond of the two-floor arrangement (junior suite), going back and forth up and downstairs for little things, not remembering where I left them. although the hotel is a bit away from the center it takes only 10 minutes walk to get there but it's in a quiet and nice location.
The hotel is decorated in Art Nouveau style, which was a real pleasure. The staff were helpful and friendly. A very relaxing and beautiful place, without the aggression of American-style service.
The location and especially all the athmospere of old-time surroundings fascinated us. We certainly will choose Villa Margaretha again, when we revisit Tartu. :) Jouko & Marjatta Ahola Rather a long walk to shopping center, but I take it more as healthy excercise than a burden. Next time I´d prefer a ground floor room.
Good location, friendly staff, nice, rather big rooms.
Its a hotel with a friendly staff providing exellent service. The rooms are kept in the original jugendstyle, but modernised to a comfortable standard. The location is quiet, but still close to the citycenter.
Private parking. Beautiful buildings of the hotel. The room was nice and comfortable. Breakfast is a little poor for those who likes sweats (croissant, biscuits, cakes...).
Quite location; charming, pleasant rooms; comfortable bed and pillows; friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant food was good and reasonably priced. Good breakfast and free WiFi included. Not really a bad point, but unlike modern hotels this one is not optimized for working in your room. Not as many plugs as you'd expect, and no desk. The Inn is a little off the beaten path (I.E. not in the heart of downtown), but its a ten-minute walk, and that's on reason it's so quiet.
A nice and cosy hotel with a very polite service. Few minutes by walk from city center but the parking is a good value. Rooms upstairs are not suitable for babycars or older people.
beliggenhed og pris
Meget tæt på centrum. fint at kunne kigge under over byen.
cozy, clean noisy
I really liked the hotel! Location and its service. If I go into the city then stop right here.
The central location and the breakfast. Slow Internet Connection
Convenient for centre of Tartu city Initially difficult to find by car GPS Lat & Long co-ordinates were not accurate enough
a very beautiful place - the center of town, near the town hall, in a historic building
rooms a little noisy
the room and staff was excelent. there was no lift :(
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff at the reception was helpful an friendly. The location was not as central as I expected but still good. The staff at the restaurant/bar needs to learn how to say "hello" and "goodbye".
interrior, location, food
Very friendly staff, cool interiors; I guess it is a very pleasant place in summer. It was simply too cold in the rooms on the bottom floor; too dark and rather cold in the shower room; impossible to shut the windows properly (winter time!)
Helpful and friendly staff. Reliable wi-fi. Decent complimentary breakfast.
Cheap and easy. Great to spend a nights in the little town of Tartu.
The hotel was easy to reach by car or by city bus. It was very spacious for a budget hotel, very clean, and had free parking on site. I was happy with the place and would stay there again.
Very good room, pet-friendly, large bathroom, clean. no extra bed possibility
Free iInternet, easy find, pleasant atmosphere Bathroom shower
Good personal, pet friendly. Breakfast may be better.
Departure day. This place is some kind of cheaply renovated wooden building, with many rooms without sound proofing. Everything was dirty, from glasses (whose we change on the reception), sheets (with holes), carpet, bathroom... Toilet and bathroom are in one room (without any barrier), and after showering whole floor is full of water and slippery. Flooring of one bed was broken. Chambermaid leaved ("forgot" as receptionist said) garbage in the middle of our room. Not to mention that towels wasn't changed. To many things to be accidental, and all that for almost 50 EUR per day. By far the worst "hotel" we were ever been (OK, there was one /for the 15EUR per day/ few years ago in Krakow, and in a meantime was fortunately closed).
Breakfast Yogurt Dirty iron and rickety ironing-board, I had have burn on my hand because this ironning board swaying and then fall with iron on my hand!!!! - Now I have big red spot now and it was very painfully!
Excellent, very nice stuff, they helped us to organize our trip to Helsinki, and let us print out some private mails
Good price, good design, good place.
I liked the staff and the room very much. No problem with parking and Internet access. There is no double rooms.
I liked the idea of the building being reused and used for teaching. I liked the design of the rooms and the up to date interior design of the room. The access to parking was a little complicated.
Clean, quite new, easy to find. Breakfast, shower without walls, noise all night.
no internet signal at room.
Pretty cheap and nice natural environment. Generous Breakfast. Possibility of making tea and drink water at the reception for free. Very familiar ambiance Beds very small. The bathroom was too small and unconfortable.
The little pretty garden with a fountain, which I could see through the window during the breakfast.
A peaceful atmosphere, quiet, close to city center. can not pay with a credit card.
We started very early and we could not have breakfast, but have priparato very good breakfast in a bag for travel, very good
comfortable place in the town and acceptable price A liittle noisi on the street
Price + Location
Very friendlier stuff It was too cold at the room
i liked the hotel it was calm and cozy ,i wish staff will always stay as friendly as what they are, and i would recommend this hotel for my friends.
Excellent location, rught opposite the coach station
The hotel was very clean and had nice amenities (sauna, air conditioning that works very well). The beds were soft and the location was a quick walk to main town Tartu.
Central location Room very basic and not much space, beds very narrow. Although good location no air conditioning so the windows had to be open and it was therefore very noisy. Our room was above the main entrance and on one night several men, apparently drunk were speaking loudly out side the main entrance from approx. 2.00 A.M. to 4.00 A.M.
Location is central - yet peaceful although the hotel is directly opposite the bus station and next to the market place. Our room was rather hot (air-conditioning only available in singles and family rooms...), also the beds were a bit squeaky.
Internet connection was somewhat unreliable. Bedsheets were not changed every day.
The central location and cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The breakfast was poor.
Good large rooms, polite and pleasant personnel, good breakfast. Nothing special but everything at least "four on five-point scale". Personnel didn't speak Russian. It was not a trouble for me, but this warning may be useful for somebody.
Fast and nice service at the restaurant The room was a bit cold
The hotel was hard to find at night. Breakfast was poor.
silence, and the possibility to fresh up the body yes,I think the shower was to small.
Breakfast quality and quantity, helpfulness of most of staff Porter was rude, seemed not to want to help w luggage and gave only very perfunctory information
Bygnings udseende.
