Great staff. Super nice people. The hotel itself...meh..definitely definitely not five star, perhaps not even four. Tiny room and bed so small I could barely fit. Noise from hallway came into room. I'd say it's a good four star. The bed was tiny, barely fit one person.
location, great room, good price long time for check in or out - (1/2 hour each time)
My greater Mind lead Me to making an excellent selection. The apartments view.
The front desk staff was amazing - each one more warm and helpful than the next. They upgraded our room because there was a vacant suite, they gave us a bottle of cava on our last night, and were just a pleasure to speak to and gave great recommendations for dining in the area.
the staff could not do enough to help with any thing we asked of them, very polite. we would stay there again enjoyed our stay very much. no complaints at all
Friendliness of staff
The well-appointed, clean accomodations, rather larger than the ones usually found in boutique hotels - much dedicated young staff, specially the very smiling, hi-touch Manager - this urban location spot can lead to become an ideal alternative from the sea-side uncharming hotel chains Choosing Breakfast outside of the hotel with vouchers was at first appreciated, but was discontinued during extended stay.
Beautiful hotel, esthetic, pleasant staff, excellent location especially for nightly walks in Tel Aviv, great breakfast at the "Benedict" included You don't really see much of the other guests, as there are no dining rooms in the hotel.
- The staff is fantastic. - The location is excellent. - The rooms are extremely comfortable, pleasant, spacious, modern but not stark. Lovely views from the rooms. Art from local artists throughout the hotel. - The wifi worked very well.
Good hotel. Very friendly staff. Good choice.
Not then ample room in the suite clthes storage outside of bedroom
Great rooms, large AND clean. Kitchenet included in the room. Interesting art work especially if you appreciate minimalist art. The hotel was just renovated so there is a newness to the decor. Centrally located in town near all major roads. The hotel does have indoor parking but reserve ahead. no complaints at all
Cunning and furtive personal.gey photos povsyudu.gryaz and idle Internet.
I LOVED this hotel! The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating - they made sure I was settled and attended to my every need. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, with really cool design in the rooms - I wish my apartment looked like this! The location was also ideal, especially if you like walking around - it is about a 20-30 minute walk from the Jaffa port and a less than 10 minute walk from the shuk.
Everything was clean and the front desk lady was very nice. Management knows that they have a very noisy room and they still have it available (or maybe there are more?). It sounds like someone is flushing the toilet on you all night. And when you complain about it, and if the hotel is full, the manager will tell you that you can leave the hotel and they won't charge you. After a long fight with the manager (I am sure none in their vacations wants to fight) he agreed to refund 50% (I still think they should have refund 100%). However I am still waiting for that refund.
Very comfortable. Moses was really very helpful. could use updating, which you are doing.
A small friendly hotel with a ready smile and great personal service and unlike the big Hotels dont charge for every little thing- internet aservice was very reliable and free as was breakfast- my extras for a 10 day stay were $5! No dislikes at all
Rooms are big. Two TVs, dvd player, big deadsea solt shampoos and body wash, excellent coffee machine at the entrance, hotel free parking place, most of staff speak Russian and English. Not bad breakfasts but no meat or sausages at all (but it common in Israel). There was reconstraction of hotel. Lobby was closed, there was painting of the walls and paint smell. Some rooms were under construction and every day they turned off cold and hot water. Nobody have warned about this and even did not provide drinking water for cleaning teath and washing face in mornings. Moreover every early morning we were waked up by terrible noise of air-operated hammer and drilling of walls in neighbour rooms. It was terrible. I hope the construction will be finished asap. Besides be aware that most rooms face horrible dirty city parking place and ugly building which is also under construction. Ask for city view which face the sea - not the streets and 5 persent of the sea.
The hotel is across the street from the beach (no hotels are actually on the beach) and is is in the heart of Tel Aviv. The hotel itself is nice, if somewhat quirky, with various amenities being tucked away in random locations. I did have a little bit of regret not staying at a hotel with more service offerings (e.g. food and beverage services), but the location and the quality of the accomodations made up for this.
Hotel staff was very-very friendly. The room was realy comfortable and clean, they changed towels several times a day.The location is exellent. The quality is higher than the price. nothing
nice room, staff and location a problem with a window that kept opening and construction noises early in the morning from a site near by
Close to cinema, theatre, restaurants , shoping, market...
details are well-thought-out. Room was small but very well-designed and attractive. Very comfortable. I highly recommend the Shenkin Hotel. needed more drawer space, more hangers for clothes
The people were absolutely lovely, they went out of thier way to help me and made sure I was as comfortable as possible
Friendly and helpful staff, free car parking, all new and clean, great terrace on the roof! Not much, but the standard rooms are not very large and personally we prefer to have a toilet separated from the sleeping room
Free WiFi Internet & Breakfast Dust in the room :(
great value. right downtown. friendly and helpful staff. nice accommodations, clean. our room was a little small but very comfortable.
most friendly and accomodating so that we had a good time and a good stay.
Some of the bartenders, especially Karin and Michelle, were terrific.
Great attitude. Location, design
Amazing staff, great location, clean, modern Construction next door, will wake you up. Very small rooms.
Concierge service was nonpareil! During our week, they provided maps, guided tours, taxis, restaurant reservations -- and even patched up a member of our party who needed first-aid after a minor fall! The cappucino machine was available at all hours (with juice and pastries for breakfast), and an afternoon glass of Lambrusco in the comfortable lobby was most welcome. No complaints at all! Highly recommended on every score!
The staff is extremely friendly and always try to upgrade me and my girlfriend when we stay a night. The lobby is very cozy and has lots of games and reading material, plus free drinks and snacks. The rooms are extremely trendy and modern, but also comfortable. When visitors come to Tel Aviv this is the first place I send them to stay!
Loved the location, decor, amenities and bar downstairs. It probably has the best cocktail bar in all of Tel Aviv. It's chill and quiet so you can actually have a conversation. It looks like it was fully renovated not too long ago! No complaints - truly a great, lesser known hotel. Just keep it a secret so it doesn't get expensive!
But there we some really great things about the hotel: - the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Owners are there, and are very open for communication - the breakfast is just terrific The total atmosphere is just great, and we do not regret that we stayed there. But be warned that this boutique-hotel can be a bit of a disappointment to the one used to **** comfort We chose the hotel because of the highest rating on booking.com. But indeed we'd rather not rate it as 10%. The reasons are following: - the rooms are really small. Toilet and a bath are not separated. - furnishing is pretentious but poor - windows do not close toughly, it was cold in the night - no parking for guests, and cOncierge failed to explain where to park
Location and friendly staff Had to wait 30 minutes for my room to be ready
Staff was very helpful and easy to talk to. Ordered me a taxi to the airport at 2am. 24 hour front desk service is great. My room wasn't cleaned before my stay. There was an empty water bottle on the nightstand and the sheets and pillows had hairs on them.
Modern, clean and very helpful staff on reception, towels for the beach (a little walk away) and the opportunity to check out, leave your luggage, go for a swim and come back later.
Noisy , room facing the street. No gym as promised in the web site.
Close to the sea (2 minutes walking)
the staff was very friendly and helpful. breakfast should start earlier than seven o clock.the reason being is that the tour company picks you up at seven fifteen.
breakfast was a little bit odd
Close to the sea with reasonable price Bathroom was a little dusty
Very good price value relation. Clean and very friendly staff. Also free drinks and little snacks in the afternoon on terrace and library. Nice atmosphere. Recommendable for visitors of Tel Aviv with a budget and who want to be central, near the beach. Nice design. Good breakfast included. The rooms are small but contain everything needed and are clean. Good enough to stay for a few days.
Very friendly helpful staff. A lot of free extras available such as bikes, beach towels, afternoon snacks, etc. Standard rooms are very small. No kashrut supervision on food.
The happy hour was a nice touch we had not had at other hotels during our two week stay. It was a refreshing touch after a long day out in Israel. The cleanliness of the linen and design of the room were very innovative. We chose the hotel mainly because it had accommodations for 2 adults and 2 teens in one room. It also did not have a minimum stay of 5-7 nights as do many others now in Tel Aviv. We were there 2 nights. Free internet was a plus for my teens as they waited for us to get the car or get ready. I greatly appreciated the option of 4 in a room, but once the couch was open, there was no room to walk around at all. If you had more places to place the luggage so it was not sitting on the floor space, perhaps walking around could have been easier. Parking was free at another hotel 2 blocks away. If you forgot something in the car or wanted to take it out, you had to walk about 2 blocks to get it. This was also just overnight parking and so we still paid for any parking after 9am. It was also a pain to drop off and pick up the luggage since we had to double park on a very busy street.
Artistic & funky design style. Free afternoon drinks & snacks on the patio. Free bicycles for the guests to use.
The room was too small for my expectations as a 4 star hotel. Would have been Ok as 3 star.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our a/c broke but the weather was nice enough at night that it didn't matter too much.
The helpfulness of the staff.
perfect for the beach and the streets.clean, tidy rooms, excellent air conditioner, great shower, good books to peruse, a terrace and inside and outside areas, helpful staff, comfortable bed a faster internet connection for the computer in the hotel lobby would be good
Location two minutes from the beach, shops and central tel aviv. Good transport - buses and taxis right outside the door. First class breakfast, free bicycles, happy hour drinks and snacks. Roof terrace, breakfast terrace. Very helpful front desk, gave late check out and honoured room request for a quiet and corner room. No fresh fruit juice
new small boutique hotel, young and hip, excellent location 5 min walk to the beach, helpful staff, nice breakfast.
