nice room, staff and location a problem with a window that kept opening and construction noises early in the morning from a site near by
details are well-thought-out. Room was small but very well-designed and attractive. Very comfortable. I highly recommend the Shenkin Hotel. needed more drawer space, more hangers for clothes
Close to cinema, theatre, restaurants , shoping, market...
Free WiFi Internet & Breakfast Dust in the room :(
Great attitude. Location, design
The people were absolutely lovely, they went out of thier way to help me and made sure I was as comfortable as possible
Friendly and helpful staff, free car parking, all new and clean, great terrace on the roof! Not much, but the standard rooms are not very large and personally we prefer to have a toilet separated from the sleeping room
great value. right downtown. friendly and helpful staff. nice accommodations, clean. our room was a little small but very comfortable.
most friendly and accomodating so that we had a good time and a good stay.
Some of the bartenders, especially Karin and Michelle, were terrific.
Amazing staff, great location, clean, modern Construction next door, will wake you up. Very small rooms.
Everything was clean and the front desk lady was very nice. Management knows that they have a very noisy room and they still have it available (or maybe there are more?). It sounds like someone is flushing the toilet on you all night. And when you complain about it, and if the hotel is full, the manager will tell you that you can leave the hotel and they won't charge you. After a long fight with the manager (I am sure none in their vacations wants to fight) he agreed to refund 50% (I still think they should have refund 100%). However I am still waiting for that refund.
But there we some really great things about the hotel: - the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Owners are there, and are very open for communication - the breakfast is just terrific The total atmosphere is just great, and we do not regret that we stayed there. But be warned that this boutique-hotel can be a bit of a disappointment to the one used to **** comfort We chose the hotel because of the highest rating on booking.com. But indeed we'd rather not rate it as 10%. The reasons are following: - the rooms are really small. Toilet and a bath are not separated. - furnishing is pretentious but poor - windows do not close toughly, it was cold in the night - no parking for guests, and cOncierge failed to explain where to park
The location was near the beach and within walking distance of the good restaurants and bars. The room itself needed an extreme makeover. The walls were painted very patchy; the window curtain was thin and white, so the sun would wake you up whenever it rises; there was no closet, only a rack to hang clothes; no TV; the entire bathroom floor would get very wet when you shower; and the shower curtain was dirty at the bottom. I could go on, but why.
The location was perfect! I like a mattress pad on the bed under the fitted sheet. My did not have one.
Lovely friendly place. Very clean and comfortable. If you like big posh hotels with all the latest gizmos, you will hate Eden; but for someone like me who values caring, friendly owners and a wholesome atmosphere, this is heaven. Environment can be noisy, if you prefer your window open to using the AC. Navigation is a bit intricate: take care not to get lost on walk back from beach. It should take less than 10 minutes.
Even though our stay was very brief (arrived after midnight from airport, had to be driven to airport next evening), Serge and Michael couldn't have been more accommodating. They let us leave our baggage with them after we checked out and before we had to leave for the airport. Serge noticed I had a bad head cold and insisted I try some terrific hot herbal tea. The room and its own adorable roof terrace were immaculate! They were within a 3-4 min walk to the beach, a couple mins from an outdoor market, and only a 20 min drive to the airport.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. There was a very pleasant atmosphere to the place.
Aldrig mere her!
Good budget accomodation for someone who just needs the basics on a shorter trip in Tel Aviv. Nice staff and good help with every question I had as a tourist. Somewhat artistic interior at the hotel, which I appreciated. That gave something extra to the stay.
Very close to the beach. Basic hotel. Price reasonable compare to other hotels in Tel Aviv. We would definitely stay there again if we came back to Tel Aviv.
I want to send a big, big thank you to the very nice clerks at the reception! They were very helpful, no matter whether our questions pertained to finding a small road in a nearby village, doing a propper knot to my boyfriends tie or recommending us non-touristic places for a drink with locals! You gave us a very warm welcome, THANK YOU! Plus, the bar at the hotel with the two bar-guys is absolutely to be recommended for a friendly, welcoming easy-going good-night drink!
The location is perfect. The staff very friendly. The rooms are a little small. A little expensive but every hotel in Israel (and especially in tel Aviv) are very expensive compare to hotel standards.
It was fine for the price. The neighborhood was great but the term "boutique hotel" misleading.
small very nice and cosy Hotel in the Centre of Tel Aviv. In the weekends you have to be prepared for some nightlive on Allenby. Very nice and helpfull personal 24 hours a day!!
Great location, low cost, balcony. Dingy, somewhat dirty, rooftop not used, small, no elevator.
The staff was very helpful and the location was great. Liked the ambiance of the room. 1-The shower was very tiny. Too tiny to even move around. 2-The worse thing about the hotel was the breakfast voucher to the loveat place. The staff there was rude and not helpful. The clarity of what constitutes breakfast was not clear.
Location Too small room, no elevator, no phone to call out.
The staff was friendly, welcoming and gave great directions. Considering hostels cost the same for a private room, this was exceptional. I will stay at Galileo again. I stayed in two rooms (because I decided to extend) and the first had a jacuzzi and a balcony, the second was regular, but did the job of giving me a home-base near Carmel market.
Det var rent og pænt. Meget god betjening ved indtjekning. Sent checkud-tid (kl. 12).
