Luxury boutique riad in Marrakesh - includes breakfast, welcome refreshments and flowers in the room Both authentically Moroccan and dreamily boutique, the chic Riad Elizabeth is a little burrow of luxury in the heart of the ancient medina. True to the original riad style with a sun-lit central courtyard, this cool retreat is the perfect counterpoint to the heat of the city. Ornate without being ostentatious - the hotel is characterised by elegant chessboard tiles and a sleek black indoor swimming pool. Soft light glimmers from veiled chandelier lamps and pale lanterns, while mirrored walls and beautiful archways create a sense of sensuous space. Bespoke furnishings, intricate wrought-iron bannisters and native flowers complete the glamorous look - while the shaded rooftop terrace (with its open fire for after-dark) provides glimpses of the dynamic souks and historic temples outside. A TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice 2012 winner, this little-black-book find is excellently located for exploring the ochre city. The hotel is offering a choice of rooms with breakfast included, plus a welcome tea, Moroccan biscuits and flowers in your room. The hotel also provides free breakfast.
