Nicely located hotel in center of Chamonix and very friendly staff Hotel could offer promotions on restaurant for hotel guests to get more business.
It was very quite and comfotable. It was difficult to find the hotel.
Quite, close to bus and train stops, Hotel Staff, Good size rooms. No stand up shower in double room, water gets all over the place and cheap pillows.
Freindly and helpful Staff, spoke excellent English to go with my awful French! The internet was not working for five of my six day stay
nice and quiet atmosphere, excellent breakfast
Beautiful view, Nice restaurant, Good location with a car. Staff were not that friendly
Excellent cuisine in hotel restaurant Decor and furniture a bit dated. Two mornings no hot water
Beautiful setting in a quiet rustic part of Chamonix valley but close enough to town and ski slopes. Would be a good choice in summer too given the outdoor pool and proximity to golf course. Rooms are pretty basic even for a 2 star hotel e.g. No coffee or tea making facilities in the room.
Have enjoyed our stays at logis de France hotels. This was a few miles out of Chamonix so had to drive into town and park to enjoy the sights. However it was a quiet pleasant place with many recreational activities on site.
this is more than four questions- you need to be more honest in your survey offer. the breakfast was delicious and the staff spoke english which was very helpful
Very nice quiet and inexpensive hotel with Mont-Blanc view. Swimming pool was a nice surprise.
Excellent views of mont blanc, fantastic to wake up and see the mountains from your balcony.
Wonderfully discreet and luxurious
staff was extremely accomodating and could not have been more helpful. Especially Myrhtitte(sp?). only stayed one day.
The view from the room balconies and the restaurant terrace is spectacular - Mont Blanc in all its splendor. The flowers and the vegatable garden were lovely. The rooms were comfortable with modern bathrooms. Breakfast was very pleasant with good cheeses, fresh fruit and eggs to order and even international newspapers. There was a sauna and jacuzzi which were very nice because we were alone there. More than two in the sauna would have been a squeeze. We dined there both evenings with the reasonable half board offer of 30 Euros per person for four courses. We had very high expectations from the reviews. But the food, while fresh and good, was in no way remarkable.
Super-friendly and helpful staff really made our stay a delight. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms are charming and spacious (we had a superior double with a generous balcony overlooking the Arve river), breakfast was good value for money and the afternoon tea and cakes offered each day was a bonus after a day of skiing. There is a sauna and fitness room, a games room and a very inviting open fire. Everything was excellent
very polite and helpfull staff. Room clean and presented to a high standard breakfast was a little expensive in comparison to other eating places available. The breakfast room was not very inviting - especially considering the price.
Luxurious accommodation; comfortable bedding; great pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi; helpful staff the size of the "Mont Blanc" class rooms is small to mid-sized...
I truly enjoyed the ambience of this hotel. The experience was warm, yet elegant and the location is perfect! Breakfast was $20 additional per day, per guest
The hotel staff are really nice and willing to help the guests. In our room, the WiFi signal was week and could not get to the Internet. We could go online in the lobby, however.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the surroundings are unbeatable.
very friendly staff at front desk the balcony was very very small
Beautifully furnished, very attractive ambience; very polite and helpful staff.
Great location, excellent breakfast room (in spite of very few guests), very helpful staff.
Position, friendliness of staff
Polite friendly staff. Decent room.
Staff were extremely helpful and the hotel was comfortable. The bar / lounge area was particularly pleasant with a big open fire and a range of books. There was a lovely outside garden with loungers and picnic tables for sunny days. Dinner in the hotel was excellent and good value. There was nothing that I did not like about the hotel; it was all excellent.
Everything was perfect..just cannot find anything to complain about..the hotel has an excellent location and it is very welcoming, the rooms are very cozy, the staff is extremely friendly, food was exquisite...
Excellent room and staff were extremely helpful. Location was great for all purposes. Very comfortable. Nothing - all good.
very cosy, like at home no
staff very helpfull and attention to detail excellent, food was also excellent
The staff were very friendly and helpful - they made our stay very easy
Very nice place, Some bad points for gym
The best view in chamonix and very nice decoration
This hotel was very nice; looked like a small chalet with a lodge atmosphere. I had a 3rd floor room with balcony, and incredible view of Mont Blanc. This was fantastic. The rooms were very nice, and beds/bedding confortable. Location was excellent, I could walk into town. Hotel had a countryside feel, which was really nice. The outdoor area was also nice - chaise lounges, picnic tables, etc. No.
Although a short stay of only 2 nights we enjoyed the rooms at the Chalet. Beautiful views with a rustic atmosphere in the rooms and hotel; it is overall very enchanting. Not very far from the resort centre and suitable for children given the lovely playground they have in between the Hotel and the Chalet. We'll sure visit again. Very good breakfast and attentive staff.
We rode tram to top of moundain and took three hour hike. Returned to village on train.
Location Room was very cold, heating functioned only on in the evening. Blankets very thin. Narrow bed. Bathroom old, with fungus smell. You've to decide the evening before whether you want breakfast or not. That's more a question for a hostel than a hotel. Big, smelly dog in the corridor, but that was probably not the hotels fault.
The staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful with all things Chamonix. The rooms were crisp, clean, and although maybe a little small for some, they had many different options for any type of traveler. The hotel is at the center of town and about a 5 minute walk from anything. Definitely staying here again if not for the location and "hip" vibe, then for the fantastic staff (or the breakfast). Nothing.
