Our stay was quite satisfying. The staff were very hospitable and helpful.Dining was delightful and we enjoyed listening the the singer at the Lobby Lounge, specifically on Thursday evening, July 29, 2010 who accommodated us with old favorites sung softly. The bathroom is not suitable for senior citizens like my wife and I who are in our mid seventies. Stepping into and out of the bathtub is a risky adventure.
Everything. Great location. Great staff. Great value. Staff is very accommodating. When I was sick with flu and coughs I got a free room upgrade. Purchase the buffet with your reservation. Buffet is great. This hotel is the nicest of all four stars in Davao. Lobby is too cold. The afternoon lobby buffet is a joke. Make it better. Keep up the good job.
Checking in was very efficient. The internet service was OK before but not as good now, because you cannot connect automatically and have to wait for a voucher to be sent to your room and signed.
I like every thing about it , from staff , cleanliness , perfect location for business transactions. I felt safe the whole time of my stay. It's kind of pricy , but reasonable as considered best hotel of Davao city .
Staff Attitude, specially during the checkout was very rude and not very bad
Staff was great, food was great, rooms and facility were luxurious. Pool was nice - rules were relaxed for kid hours specially when we were the only ones in the pool! We found a pair of socks stuck behind our TV
Nice hotel in nice location. Poor quality staff. They lost two orders for food and drinks and getting a bucket of ice delivered to the room was impossible. Very disappointed for a high end hotel. I will go somewhere cheaper next time because this Marco Polo isn't worth the extra money.
Acessibility to 24 hour fastfood. Price. Lots of ants! Unprofessional security guard - accepted change from pizza delivery man without telling us. Neglected to replenish tissue box for 4 days. Needed to call them to change towels.
Location and Price Room key is also used to engage power to the room, thus when you leave the room there is no power for the refrigerator to stay on or to leave a tv on for security reasons.
The room was small. No fridge, microwave, no phone to even call front desk. The room was very bare. I stayed 4 nights and one day they made the bed and didn't even change our towels. The air con wasn't even changeable. It was set either 17 or 19 degrees. So either too cold or too hot when you turn it off.
they were very friendly and courteous I was there for 11 nights we treated by girlfriend's girlfriend for lunch buffet the second day we were there her girlfriend got diarrhea after being there 11 nights I got diarrhea the last five nights and my girlfriend had it for 2 nights probably from the food at the breakfast buffet
Hotel is I think oldest in Davao... no elevators and most of the AC units in room do not work. They changed our room even then they said hotel infrastructure is old and cannot take the load. We had 5 rooms... all of the AC units in deluxe rooms were horrible and rooms were hot. One of the room was executive suite and AC unit was working good., so book only suites here. Hotel staff was excellent and accommodating though. Rooms were hot, AC units were good for nothing, that made our stay really bad.
The room was very clean, the bed was perfect, and the wifi was flawless. The noise from weddings was over the top and intrusive. The restaurants were about double the price of eating off property. The shower was a bit run down and the sink took too long to get hot.
