Ulemper: "worst crew i have ever encountered in spite of repeatedly calling them they just completely ignored my calls served me wrong food and when i said i needed a veg meal they said they could only serve if it was pre-booked when i showed them my pre-booking details on my cell they agreed to serve me one. Very disinterested crew in serving the guests badly managed from my early, also the pizza slice emitrates serves is a non veg pizza its clearly written on the box preparation may include eggs fish etc.. and they did not have any substitute for the same. Multiple passengers kept on disturbing me and asking me to shift my seat even when i was sleeping and the crew did nothing about it because of this experience i would not choose to fly emirates again"

Ulemper: "I had one piece of hand carried bag from when I boarded on the DC to Dubai leg. On this Dubai to Manila leg I was shocked to discover that the ground crew wanted all hand carried items weighed, and I mean ALL including things like travel pillows and duty free items. I was made to pay $88 for excess weight on the exact same bag I had with me on the first leg. Worse, the (I'm guessing) head of the ground crew gave random exceptions (for example someone had a thick copy of the Koran and some other item that were not weighed). My excess weight probably weighed less than that book. Many passengers ended up returning purchased duty free items and some even abandoned their bags. Upon getting past the initial gate the passengers were ferried by BUS to the plane. The bus ride took forever and of course, in the heat of the Dubai sun, the passengers were made to climb stairs carrying their "overweight" bags to board the plain."

Ulemper: "1. Use of buses on departure and arrival. The length of the bus journey from the terminal, in a vehicle with no seats, made me suspect we were going the whole way to Geneva by bus. 2. Don't know whether Fly Dubai or Emirates are to blame but my suitcase (a top grade modern Samsonite) was a mess by the time it reached Geneva, with rubber seal on one side of the zip peeled back and almost off. Why can't airlines and terminals ensure baggage is treated with care and respect?"

We arrived hongkong and was informed that our flight has been rebooked even though we can see that the plane was still there and staffs are still at the gate. We were transferred to a layover flight from HongKong to Aussie then Aussie to Auckland instead of going straight. Seats was set far apart with no competitions at all. Sorry is not enough for this big hassle."

Fordele: "My flight delayed by 7 hrs. AC ground crews worked diligently to rearrange my connection flight to Halifax on the first flight out. And at the arrival gate in Toronto, AC already had a hotel package for me to stay overnight at Crowne Plaza Horel. Everything went so smoothly and professionally done. I am very impressed"
Fordele: "Food was great, and the business class 777 seats are a delight. And the captain shuts up through the entire flight --- no interrupting your sleep or movie with stupid observations that no-one wants to hear."
Ulemper: "The quality of the screens (crappy slow resistive touchscreens) is completely unacceptable for business class in 2018. China Airlines screens are VASTLY superior in their hardware, their speed, and the quality of their UI. And running an ad before EVERY movie --- in business?! Talk about an airline having no sense of class. That's a cheap, stupid move."
Fordele: "On time."
Fordele: "Our plane was an A350 equipped with a new entertainment center. The captain was able to get our flight in early. Unfortunately, because of weather/immigration problems at the destination, we weren't able to disembark for another 90 minutes. But I think the cabin crew handled this well, handing out both drinks and snacks. The captain also kept us informed, and also seemed to play a role in negotiating with the airport authorities to allow us to disembark at another gate. Otherwise it may have been a longer ordeal."
Ulemper: "The security measures for US bound flights made things more confusing for boarding. This wasn't the airline's responsibility, and the security check was fast and professional. Next time I hope they work better with the customers to make sure we know what is going on. But this is a small complaint on my part."
Fordele: "Friendly crew and pilot. Smooth take off and landing."
Fordele: "Flight from Toronto to Hong Kong was late departing due to a snow storm. Most on the flight missed connections. Cathay staff were waiting on the jetway with plans for everyone that missed their connection to Sydney. Just impeccable organisation and service."
Fordele: "Everyone on Cathay pacific is very nice and the food was relatively good. They did everything possible to make this a better flight."
Fordele: "I guess I can't expect much from what seems to be a low budget airline. The food was OK and the movie selection was excellent. I didn't have any issues with boarding or baggage check in. There was a mix of good and bad flight staff. Sadly, the staff in bad moods were servicing me."
Ulemper: "The bad mood in-flight staff and the uncomfortable seats. During boarding, I asked one of the staff if I can have a window seat because I have motion sickness and aisle seats make me feel ill. She looked at me flustered and said all seats are booked and that I'll be Ok with the aisle seat. On a different CP flight, a different staff was helping a couple switch with other passengers so they can sit next to each other. That would have been nice if they did that for me when I asked for a window seat."

Ulemper: "Ridiculous baggage policy! Only 30 kg total baggage allowance when ALL OTHER AIRLINES ALLOW AT LEAST 40KG, AND MOST ALLOW 46KG! WHY IS CATHAY SO STINGY?!"

Ulemper: "No inflight movie available. Long flight. I am a 6 foot American and the seats are just not comfortable if the person in front leans seat back. 15 inched from your face for a 12 hour flight is not fun."

I was a little bit stressed because I had a connecting flight to Manila, was afraid i wouldn't make it. And also, no gate assignment yet for Istanbul to Manila. Since it was my first time to travel via Turkish Airline, not familiar with Istanbul airport."

TK airport (ground) staff that talked to us was antipathetic and it took ages to get any service. Looks like they didn't care we about the delay, nor they were trying to help us. Ulemper: "The seats are too small to recline for someone who is about 185cm tall. I was not able to sleep, in spite of the late hour of the flight. Had a one hour layover in Istanbul, and the gates were at opposite sides of the crowded airport, which made the connection difficult."

Fordele: "The few and very rarely seen employees are not even willing to listen to our questions let alone help us, Ican for sure say in 1 out of 10 wotkers there was only one that was willing to help And did let the one that helped us know I and my co travelers apriciated her or him to me there was one girl who offered me help after I cried because I thougth I would miss my flight to houston. I told her tgank you a 1000 times."

Ulemper: "Little value for money. Meal, seat.. below expectations of premium economy"
Fordele: "The food and beverage selection, as well as the service in business class was excellent. Initially I dreaded the long layover of 8 hours. But I found the Turkish Airlines Business Lounge. It was so spectacular that I didn't want to leave it. I found a small movie theatre equipped with leather oversized recliners and slept. I was told that the 2 story lounge is 6000 square meters."
Ulemper: "The business class seating is old and not as comfortable as the newer herring bone configurations. Privacy could be improved."
Fordele: "We arrived safely and on time"
Ulemper: "The seat spacing on that flight was some of the tightest I have ever seen - worse than even most of the short-haul (Embraer) flights i have been on - barely manageable for 3.5 hours. Flight attendants were borderline rude and bossy, but they had to be, because the passengers were loud and unruly."

Ulemper: "When I check-in for flight from Rome to Istanbul and Istanbul to Los Angeles, only the first leg of trip was confirmed correctly. For the leg from Istanbul to Los Angeles I confirmed a window seat when I checked-in online. However, when I arrived at the airport I has a middle seat and could not change it and the 15 hour flight was miserable. I also asked to be upgraded to business class and told it would be $3,500.00, which was ridiculous."

Ulemper: "The seat next to me had two kids sitting in it. The seats are only supposed to have one person per seat. So they we also halfway in my seat also."
Fordele: "There were great entertainment options, which is really important for such a long haul flight."
Ulemper: "They had assigned the same seat to me and somebody else, and the other person was already sitting in the seat when I got there. The only other available seat was in business class, and although the flight attendant later admitted I should have been given that business class seat, the other person successfully argued to take it. Staff are good though not as friendly as most Asian airlines."

Ulemper: "While the flight attendants and crew inside the airplane were all friendly and nice , I can't say that for the employees inside the airport!!! They are the WORST employees I've ever seen! Multiple times, when I was trying to ask for help, they barely made eye contact or rudely ignored me! I was shocked! Never have I ever seen airport employees act so rude! One girl even was half asleep when I went up to her to ask for directions. She just pointed to the direction and didn't even look at me or say anything ! Never again will I fly with Turkish airlines."
