Ulemper: "Chairs on the new A380 although more comfortable than the Boeing 777 are still very uncomfortable for sleeping in the economy class. Plane is so big that it takes a while for first and business class to load and unload. Luggage took forever to unload for the same reason."

Fordele: "I enjoyed my flight,it was a smooth trip from Doha to Manila, the Cabin Crew received adequate training on taking care of people, as a professional nurse who is use to taking care of others ,I see someone else looking after me and I really appreciate their efforts. Shortly before we landed at Manila, we were informed that in order to meet international flight rules and regulations that insecticide will be sprayed we were advised to cover our nose,as a medical personnel I see it not good cos it can trigger an Asthmatic attack in a known asthmatic patient ,it was a lovely journey"

Ulemper: "The aircraft was changed and passengers were required to check in their hand luggage, yet remove their electronics from their hand carry. In my case I had several electronic items which I had to carry onto the aircraft and store awkwardly which created a major risk of my camera and laptop being damaged in the process. This is not the kind of service I expect from Qatar Airways, especially considering the exorbitant ticket prices."

Fordele: "Flight was without any hitches, could have done better with boarding after the previous mishap of a 5 hour delayed flight and being forced to stay in Doha for a night which put everyone's schedules off by a day. Still, I would book another flight with Qatar airways for their efforts and overall good service."
Ulemper: "It would have been nice if Qatar Airlines also provided Priority Boarding for everyone on the flight that got delayed as there was a long line just to get to the boarding area."

Ulemper: "They re issued my boarding pass Doha, for Dallas flight and gave us the last seat on the plane, even though I chosed the seat at the time of booking. Food was ok, but when we asked for the chicken they didn’t had it. It’s an international flight of 15 hours with food shortage???"

Ulemper: "One of bags was missing and I came to know this only after waiting until the last bag. The staff knew that my bag did not make it out of Doha. It would have been nice if I was informed as soon as I landed so I did not have to wait for an hour unnecessarily. And the paperwork to report the missing baggage was totally Chaotic. Whoever barged to the counter and was aggressive got priority and taking down the details and giving us a receipt. This is probably my 5 or 6 flight in Qatar and it seems that you guys are slipping up as Emirates had done. Hope you don't."

Fordele: "The food and the staff are excellent. 90% of the time I can get an exit row seat as I am 6 foot 2. I fly Turkish airlines frequently. This time the plane was full, so I understand that it was not possible."
Ulemper: "A passenger and his wife were not seated together, so the passenger wanted to stand in the isle and talk to his wife over the top of me for significant portions of the fight. In a full flight keeping passengers out of the isle os key. I know this was a difficult flight for the crew."
Ulemper: "Delay in Turkey- made trip long - I understand safety first - but it was a couple hours ."
Ulemper: "The seats in business class were not suitable for sleeping even though I paid top dollar and it was a 4:45am flight. They let a random person on the plane and had to do a full security sweep before taking off."
Fordele: "I like that the FAs gave us all the things needed for a comfortable flight...thanks."
Ulemper: "Flight from Copanhagen to Istanbul was delayed for an hour...computer malfunction was the reason. I was a little bit stressed because I had a connecting flight to Manila, was afraid i wouldn't make it. And also, no gate assignment yet for Istanbul to Manila. Since it was my first time to travel via Turkish Airline, not familiar with Istanbul airport."

Ulemper: "The food - I always have a v-meal - is sadly inadequate. Not enough of it, and very unimaginative. And they always supply the same thing, unless I was just unlucky to have the same thing three times in a row. The entertainment system kept dropping playback, (crashing) so I would have to restart playing the video. Something similar happened on another Turkish flight."
Ulemper: "customer service needs upgrading"
Ulemper: "They cancelled my returning flight WITHOUT me knowing and expecting me to pay for the penalty fee for misisng the first flight even tho I DID not cancel the returning flight which obviously I was gonna take. The staff was RUDE and INSENSITIVE. Qatar was better in overall customer service. Worst customer service from Turkish airline."
Fordele: "Turkish Airlines er normalt, som samlet pakke min favorit, men når indtjekning vælger at sætte 2 voksne mænd på sæder ved nødudgangen der kun er ca. 75% i størrelse af normle (små) sæder, så er 3½ time til Istanbul en lang sammenklemt oplevelse."

Fordele: "The seats are not as luxurious as the international. They do not recline that much and are not pods. No surprise as that is similar to the US. But it was only a 3 hour flight so was fine. Food was same as first trip, solid.. Staff was very friendly."
Ulemper: "Flight was delayed 2.5 hours. They did not communicate at all the reason. Takeoff was supposed to be 8.30pm, didn’t take off until 11pm. Sat on the tarmac for over an hour and the crew or pilot did not say a word. The beverage service again was lacking compared to other international business class flights I’ve taken."

Ulemper: "Pack a meal and don’t rely on the airport at Istanbul for a grab and go meal beyond prepacked sandwiches. No options for lactose-free meals beyond the potato chips at the bar. In-flight food was awful- we had the no lactose meals."

Ulemper: "We had to spend the night in Istanbul and get only on the next flight the following morning. TK airport (ground) staff that talked to us was antipathetic and it took ages to get any service. Looks like they didn't care we about the delay, nor they were trying to help us. Ulemper: "They didn't have a vegan menu. I had requested vegan and called over the phone a month before my flight and they said they understood. Then on the flight I was told they only do vegetarian which was not good enough. After food was passed out to guests the flight crew dissapeared and never came to collect food trays till about 2 hours after and guests were starting to make a mess leaving food trays on the ground and isles. I had already selected my seat prior to boarding which I paid hundreds of dollars for. Then after boarding the flight crew asked me and the gentleman sitting next to me to move our seats to accomodate for another man that wanted to sit next to his wife. Then I was stuck in a middle seat and I paid for an isle seat. I thought this was rediculous. No one offered me a discount or anything! And the man that wanted to sit next to his wife wouldn't let the plane leave till he was sitting next to his wife. What was I supposed to do? Hold up the plane even longer? This was so crazy!! Outrageous!"

Fordele: "Staff are welcome and supportive.at Istanbul Airport kindly re-opened the gate for late passengers due to unexpected delays of preceding Turkish Airlines flights. Otherwise, I must have missed the flight from Istanbul to Rome."
Ulemper: "Delayed departure for nearly 3 hours from Islamabad to Istanbul (TK711)."
Fordele: "Excellent service by good mood personal and cabine crew. I enjoyed the short flight."

Fordele: "The food and beverage selection, as well as the service in business class was excellent. Initially I dreaded the long layover of 8 hours. But I found the Turkish Airlines Business Lounge. It was so spectacular that I didn't want to leave it. I found a small movie theatre equipped with leather oversized recliners and slept. I was told that the 2 story lounge is 6000 square meters."
Ulemper: "The business class seating is old and not as comfortable as the newer herring bone configurations. Privacy could be improved."

Ulemper: "The seat spacing on that flight was some of the tightest I have ever seen - worse than even most of the short-haul (Embraer) flights i have been on - barely manageable for 3.5 hours. Flight attendants were borderline rude and bossy, but they had to be, because the passengers were loud and unruly."

Ulemper: "The seat I was assigned was not the seat I had originally selected. The staff was so rude to me and behaved very disrespectful to me when I would ask for help. I had the very front aisle seat and the flight attendances kept bumping into me and my fold out tv screen. And the other passengers on board were not so nice either.. there was a grown man that was maybe in his 50's and i am a 22 year old 5 feet tall and this man shoved me back into my aisle and one of the flight attendances saw and said nothing to him."

Ulemper: "The seat next to me had two kids sitting in it. The seats are only supposed to have one person per seat. So they we also halfway in my seat also."

The only other available seat was in business class, and although the flight attendant later admitted I should have been given that business class seat, the other person successfully argued to take it. Staff are good though not as friendly as most Asian airlines."
Fordele: "Turkish Airlines has the best service in the industry, being in a stressful job and dealing with people, the attendants do an excellent job trying to cater to passengers needs to make their trip joyful and easy. 5 star service. I'd prefer them over any other company whenever possible."

Fordele: "He missed it due to having a 32 minute layover, which he ran all the way to board."

I'm his mother, I'm currently visiting family in Scotland, so couldn't help him much. I'm pretty disgusting and disappointed by the whole experience."

Ulemper: "My check in luggage was in very bad condition when I receive it. My clothes were all wet and they got bab by each other’s colour. Many clothes are not in a condition to wear now. Those were expensive and I had a big loss because of that."

Ulemper: "Was not informed that checking in online is the only way to secure a seat. So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

Ulemper: "Seats on the 777 were too narrow. This 777 had a 3-4-3 seating arraignment, it would have been better with a 3-3-3, similar to a 787 configuration. With the current layout, even with an aisle seat, I was sitting in the aisle. And I am not a large person! The flight was full, so use the 787 and two daily non-stops. For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."

Then our luggage lost for 3 days. Not happy! We ended up flying from Toronto to Paris then to Bordeaux. Lost my upgrade money for seats. Now have to deal with KLM for refund!"
