They wake you up at 1 a.m. for your main dinner. I would have preferred to sleep until 5 a.m. then have a good breakfast. The amenity kit in Business Class was substandard when compared to other airlines"

Fordele: "I liked the space I had to stretch out, 3 seats to myself in economy enabled me to get some solid sleep between meals. The crew werebalways very polite and friendly."

Ulemper: "My flight was delayed by 2 hours so I missed my connecting flight in Singapore. There was a huge queue of people who missed their connecting flight cos of an accident in the runway. The airline did nothing to prepare for this situation. It took hours to get another flight organised, communication was non existent and refreshments took ages to come. Airline didn't help with finding a hotel for stranded passengers."

Fordele: "The staff are so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend travelling with the airline. The A380 is a great way to travel with more space in economy. I booked seats on the upper deck where there is a smaller economy cabin. Makes you feel a bit more civilised up the top!"
Ulemper: "Economy class isn't great for a long haul flight but the staff make it much more bearable."
Fordele: "Staff was the best, always smiling and going beyond expectations to assure you enjoy your flight and I certainly did. Take off was a breeze. Landing a little bumpy but nothing to cry about. I will fly Singapore whenever possible from now on."

Fordele: "As usual, plane is in good shape and crew are well trained. Nothing wrong with all the basics, but Singapore Air has definitely lost its lustre."
Ulemper: "For heaven's sake, please don't announce a boarding procedure and then not follow it. If you want to have a free-for-all rugby scrum to get on the plane, so be it. But don't announce boarding by rows/groups and then not make even a lame attempt to adhere to it."
Ulemper: "The Manchester stopover was just a lot of standing in lines. From Manchester to Singapore, the plane was full and my seat mates didn't get up when we needed out. So, we escaped to the back for a while where we were "hushed" by a stewardess. The stewards didn't seem to like it when we were out of our seats, but 12 hours is too long to be stuck in a middle seat."

Fordele: "The service was amazing. The flight attendants were all so friendly and eager to assist. The meals were very tasty and complimentary wine was such a treat. Blankets were nice and thick, pillows were comfy, and you even received a little bag with socks and toothbrush."

Everything was excellence and good

Fordele: "On March 4, my wife and I made a flight from New York to Sydney with a transfer in Doha, Qatar. We flew the Qatar airline business class. Everything was great despite a very large flight. New plane, very clean. Wide comfortable seats turning into a large comfortable bed. Great menu and good wine list. All staff are professionally trained and very friendly. All this made this flight very comfortable and we were not tired."

Fordele: "Good crew, fair choice of food and drinks and served whenever you want it. Good array of entertainment on offer but our flight was a 'sleeper' so after a fumble with the controls and the limited new releases, I opted to read instead. Not sure we like the Dreamliner configuration and levels of comfort more than the 777 or Airbus offerings but it was fine."
Ulemper: "A couple on our flight decided it was OK to have their 4-year old run around the cabin shrieking and causing a lot of fuss. Most of us in the cabin complained but these parents were pathetically weak and elected to allow it to continue. No sleep... spoiled experience.. miserable flight in this respect. Terrible Business Lounge 'Aspire' in Gatwick; dirty and poorly equipped - not even Prosecco on offer without paying £5 for a small glass. Qatar should stop using this dreadful place. Crew seemed to have stopped referring to the passengers by name and offer a less-personalised service in Business than we have become accustomed to. The food choices while good, have been paired back as have the selection of wines."

Fordele: "I appreciated the friendly and always service minded staff. The plane was clean and I enjoyed good leg room. I was happy with the menus and the film selection was entertaining and current. All over a great experience and I would not hesitate to choose Qatar again."
Fordele: "I flew from Bali to Doha and then Doha to Dulles after an 8 hour layover. Both flights operated a Boeing 777. The planes were spotlessly clean both flights. The menu choices were amazing and the wine selections were very good. What made the difference was the attentiveness of the cabin crew. I would particularly like to commend the purser and the flight attendants on flight 707 DOH-IAD for their assistance and willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty"
Ulemper: "Flight 707 was supposed to have the new Qsuites in Business Class, so it was disappointing that without prior notice the airline switched to an aircraft with normal (but quite good) business class seating. Nevertheless, the purser and the flight attendants made the flight memorable in a very positive way."

Ulemper: "I didn't like my trip from Dar to Doha nor from Doha to Dar. The plane is too small. The food wasn't good and they ran out of Mango juice both ways. I sat next to someone who had the smelliest feet on earth. Just wasn't pleasant."

Ulemper: "Seats in economy very uncomfortable for long Doha to LAX flight. When person in front of us reclines seat for entire flight, it is almost impossible to get out to stretch legs or go to restroom. At the minimum, crew should ask all passengers to raise seats during meal service as a courtesy to those behind them. This is done on other airlines."
Fordele: "Again on time and effortless boarding made the overall experience a good one."
Ulemper: "Our suitcase was damaged...still in the process of trying to get it fixed. Hopefully it will be done soon. I will then update this report. Could maybe clean the toilets as it did become a bit messy."

Ulemper: "Check in crew in Lahore ganged up against me and wanted to extort £200 for taking me laptop on board along with my hand carry. No where in the world has an airline ever asked me for this, and I fly a fair bit. Since I didn't allow them to extort me, they forced me to throw away my brand new Delsey hand carry at the airport. I had no cover as they threatened to if load my luggage and not let me fly home. Not a 5 start airline from any angle. Will never use Qatar again!!! This was my first and last flight with them."

Ulemper: "The entertainment system needs some updating - kept freezing and needed to rebooted to continue watching. Wouldn't normally care but with all that time captured in air you need it to work."

Fordele: "After our trip from Cape Town to Dubai with Emirates which was not that great we where pleasantly surprised when we where bumped up to business class from Dubai to Bangkok. We did not expect this. Although we did not take advantage of all the extras business class has to offer we had a great nights sleep and the breakfast was superb. The cabin crew was excellent all the time. Thank you Emirates."

Fordele: "There was pretty much nothing I didn't like. Everything was great, including the Business Class Lounge in Dubai. The service was great, the staff was very pleasant, the comfort of the seats was unmatched."
Ulemper: "I remarked that the entertainment was OK, only because I have seen most of the movies and tv shows that were available, the response time for the buttons between the remote and the view screen was sometimes slow, and of course, the WiFi, I'm sure, will be improved with time."

Fordele: "Good sleep is most important & emirates is very good in this regard. Food is only fair especially the hot food served at dinner. Wines served are generally of a good to a high standard. Some crew members are better than others. Some are really excellent including any of the Irish members of the team - they always standout with their warmth, friendship & ability to read people & situations."

Ulemper: "I have used Kayak many times but I am afraid I may not use it anymore. We booked tickets to India from Boston few months ago. We booked for Emirates. But we got the tickets issued through web jet. With the recent travel ban we wanted to reschedule our tickets. And then the whole problem unravelled. We called kayak to reschedule. Kayak team said its not their responsibility and forwarded me to Web jet. We called emirates directly but they said since we booked tickets via Web jet they will be able to help. So we called Web jet and they charged a hefty 250-300$ extra to what Emirates would have charged for difference in pay. They said its basically the processing fee. We were disappointed as the reason for postponing was not in our hands, and the fact that kayak passed the buck to Web jet in dealing with the issue. If we had bought our tickets directly from Emirates the process would have been very smooth."

Fordele: "Did not get drinks at all until dinner was erred which was over 2 hours into the journey. May have been ok if I hadn't just run from a late arriving connection to make this leg of my flight and I was so thirsty!! Naturally they were out of what would have liked for my meal. However the worst part is that Mt luggage didn't make it to Heathrow with my flight and the service in trying to get my bags back has been shocking. Considering I was told my bags would be arriving in London 2 hours later I still do not have my bage in my possession- a day and a half later. And trying to get to talk to someone to help. This has been so frustrating and disappointing."

Ulemper: "The flight was delayed and the announcements were not made to keep us informed. There was some chaos involved once the gates were open. This has to be addressed."
Ulemper: "Piece of checked baggage was lost en-route. It took 2 hours to get through customs in the middle of the night because after we had already filled out all information regarding piece of luggage with one baggage counter employee. Japanese Customs refused to let us through due to "unaccompanied baggage" since the piece was lost by the airline and had us go back to another baggage employee who couldn't grasp that we already went through the process and had no clue what to do."

Ulemper: "The Business Class seats on the 777 are very narrow. Boarding the plane was tedious as it was far from the terminal and we had a long wait on the bus."
Fordele: "After what happened on Wednesday August 3rd I expected there to be some craziness but not like this. I was checked in by an employee who just started that day. She tells me in a faint voice "sir you may not make this flight". After that she tells me to check back 1 hour before the flight leaves. So I do, another teller states you made the flight please go to security. I have 45 minutes before the flight is schedule to leave at 3pm. I rush with my wife from one part of DXB to the other. Somehow make it there, but then have to wait for over 2 hours because of a connecting flight being delayed, unbelievable. Then when we land and I try to claim my bag, the bags are lost. Not just mine quite a few passengers. I go to baggage claim and the teller is screaming at me and other passangers "shut up, I don't care about your bag". This is the most disrespectful moment of the trip, never have I experienced a customer service provider yell at me like this. This experience is a direct reflection of emirates lack of management in their hiring process, as well as their ability to train their staff in high stress environments. Will I fly emirates again probably not, paying a premium for below average service is not worth it. The cabin crew were very thoughtful and respectful and made the trip bareable, their ground crew is anot her story."

Ulemper: "The whole booking experience and long phone and frustrating. Long phone calls with not very knowledgeable/understanding staff for clearing payment with Momondo was a farce. Using a corporate credit card I have used for several years. I didn't get confirmation before I went to bed. Only next morning, when I woke up 5 am for getting my flight, I finally had the confirmation. Could never get it before I went to bed 1.30 but - but they could confirm the payment was done alright! Hurray! Never booking with Momondo/Kiwi again."

Ulemper: "Right from how rude the flight attendants are to how the ground staff can forget of something as basic as informing passengers that their flight has been delayed by 6 hours. Furthermore, the no one from the ground personnel to the flight crew have any answers to why passengers upon boarding their flight are kept waiting for an hour on the plane before actual take-off. While on flight, flight attendants initially refused to serve us food stating that we should've ordered in advance. This was NOT mentioned during booking & clearly stated that food would be served as complimentary as per any International flight. I've been flying international for the past 10 years & have never come across such an incompetent lot. This was our honeymoon trip to Thailand & we 'Thank' Thai Airways for ruining it. Will never ever make the mistake of flying with them. And will make sure our friends & family do the same."

Ulemper: "I waited in line for 90 minutes to check my bag. Pace of that line moved extremely slowly. I fly frequently. Other airlines are more efficient. Delay 45 Min. in taking off. Delay upon arrival as we waited for what must have been 30-45 min for a people transporter to take us to our gate. I was at the back of the plane and I swear it seemed like they only had one bus making the (long) journey back and forth. All told I arrived over two hours late to my destination for reasons that are likely poor business design. Not a great experience."
Fordele: "Our flight was as always with Thai Airways very good and comfortable. We probably booked our domestic flight a bit too close to the landing of the international flight, and unfortunately, the flight was 25 minutes delayed, but Thai helped us get off the plane as the first people and we made our domestic flight, with a few minutes to spare. Thanks for the help and we will make sure to have a little better time between our flights in the future."

Ulemper: "The air in the cabin was too cold during the first hour of the flight. Obviously many passengers were not comfortable and asking for blankets. Later, the crew must had adjusted the temperature and it was basically steaming hot because the it was only hot air blowing out from centralized air system. I would say, very uncomfortable during the entire flight from Bangkok to Manila."

This was all on a one hour and ten minute flight. I'll never fly them long haul."

The airport adherence to covid social distancing rules was a joke. I think it was the worst experience and provoked a lot of stress. The boarding was also chaotic and business class did not board separately. The Meals on board were poor - fish or lamb (smelly) they quickly run out of pasta in business class. This whole experience was bad."

The staff was RUDE and INSENSITIVE. Qatar was better in overall customer service. Worst customer service from Turkish airline."

Fordele: "The flight to Munich was really good and comfortable. But the lay over was 15 hours and I not given anywhere to sleep or rest. I was told that I would be compt a room but never revived it. Sitting in an overcrowded Airport in Turkey was so uncomfortable and miserable. Boarding was very long lines and went through so many check points. But the staff was very friendly on board. Praise God I made it home safe."
Ulemper: "The lay over from Munich Germany to The US in the Turkey Airport was So Uncomfortable and Miserable. I was told that I would be given a room but never received it. The Airport was severely overcrowded all night and day. I was going to use Turkey monthly to go back to Germany but I probably won't now."
Ulemper: "We had to spend the night in Istanbul and get only on the next flight the following morning. TK airport (ground) staff that talked to us was antipathetic and it took ages to get any service. Looks like they didn't care we about the delay, nor they were trying to help us. Just kept saying we need to wait."

Flight attendants were borderline rude and bossy, but they had to be, because the passengers were loud and unruly."

The crew was incredibly rude and generally unhappy to help--a consistent show of attitude, as if WE were a pain to service, when just asking for water/tea because they kept skipping us! The food also was really bad, nothing like it used to be. By far the worst Turkish Airlines experience I've had, and I may reconsider booking in the future."

Ulemper: "Overall, we had a great flight and will probably fly with the Turkish Airlines again. But boarding was an absolute mess: the "secure" gate area was tiny and way too small to accommodate all the people on the flight, and the temperature in that area of the terminal was blistering hot. Combined with an organization that was messy, let's just say that all of us were REAL happy when we finally boarded the plane."

Ulemper: "Poor crew service--amazingly slow (my general THY service experience has been great, but in this leg crew did not respond to calls for almost 20-30 minutes). After meals, most people took their own empty trays to return them behind (because the crew had not picked up after 30+ minutes). The meals arrived cold as well. My entertainment set froze after 4 hours in a 13 hours trip, and was not attended to after repeated calls. One conscientious Turkish stewardess was very helpful in the 9th hour (literally), even if the entertainment did not come back on. To top these, I was sandwiched between a teenager on front and teenagers on right, who were loud and generally weird (obviously not the airlines fault). So, it ended up being a mediocre experience overall."

Ulemper: "Pilot announces that we will land 15 minutes early and to buckle and prepare to land in about 20 minutes. 40 minutes later, we were still on air, no explanation given!"
Fordele: "This is a 12 hour flight - but we have no complaints whatsoever - by far our best experience and we have flown all of the big mid-east airlines."
Ulemper: "The entertainment system was a bit dated, touch screen did not work well. The leg-room was tight but I am of average height. Would have been tough for someone over 6ft."
