The location was perfectly located to walk to the Seattle Aquarium and the other downtown shopping, food, and tourist attractions. The staff was fantastic as well! Our hotel room didn't have a great view and the beds were not the most comfortable. The guide on the tv didn't work so we struggled to find child appropriate programs while we were in the room.
The clean place and very good view ! No microwave . And I can not get warm water when I get tummy ache .And we hope next time we can see it there:) and no free wifi. The lobby wifi is good but upstairs have no wifi connection . .........do we really need to write that much and hope right now the word number is good enough to send
The bed/bedding was amazing Having to pay for room internet
reservation process easy and hotel wonderful.
Would've appreciated prior information on airport shuttle, but got nothing. Concierge Couldn't locate my reservation. Got a handicap room, okay, but right next to the elevator, so very noisy. Paper thin walls, could hear the people in the next room talking as if they were in my room. At least put insulation into the shared door! Hair in the shower when we arrived. Toilet was running non-stop. Maintenance man came to fix it twice, both times came unannounced. Closet sucked, hangers weren't even high enough to hang a dress shirt without hitting the floor.
how helpful the women at the desk who were juggling multiple task and were able to find us a car in the 9th hour.
Nice, well-kept up. Good location.
Cleanliness, great linens and mattresses, accommodating staff All good Was under the impression I could self-park my car.... Had to pay the exhorbitantly priced valet parking for my stay. $43.00 a day. Really?!
Location was vary convenient, great view from room , clean Long line at check-in Kids screaming and yelling in the hallways Thin walls and heard people next door Had multiple parties going on at once and the lobby was very congested Rooms were comfy but dated
Downtown location, corner Windows were wonderful with a view of the city. Gingerbread display was not as Christmas as prior events have been but focus on Star Wars was pulling in the people and great fund raiser for JDRF one of our most important and favorites Having to leave it was a great stay and break from the daily rush
Everything was very clean and comfortable The staff did not give us any information about what the hotel provided (like breakfast or where to find anything). They also did not explain how the elevators worked....we ran into multiple people who were confused as to how they worked. We stayed in the deluxe king corner room and it really wasn't anything special, no soaking tub or really anything extra...just a few extra windows.
The indoor pool and hot tub the high thread count of your sheets Coffee should have been provided in your room.....bothersome to have to go to the gym every morning!!
beautiful indoor lap pool encouraged exercising; large comfortable rooms with excellent mini-bar and tea pot (so often just a coffee maker and I drink tea); great location - easy walk to tourist sites and waterfront
Close to business district, restaurants, and entertainment... Given the room rate, free bottled water should be supplied...not $8 per bottle.
The old world flavor and charm of a luxury hotel that has been updated without losing its taste. Nothing.
The Fairmont was the perfect romantic weekend getaway. Walkable to coffee, wine bar, excellent resturants, several theaters and Pike Place for breakfast at Lowell's. Service was top-notch. Staff was personable and attentive. I didn't like having to leave.
Location and staff The room didn't cater for children (i.e. we booked a suite and needed a fold up bed)...
Great staff. Great location. what could be better? It's the best
Great location, short walk to Pike Place Market. Wifi is not included in the room price.
I am a member of the presidents club and the morning of received an email to allow me to check-in prior to leaving my home town. I clicked the link, put an arrival time and how is was arriving etc.. a few hours before my expected arrival I received an email informing me that my room was ready and to pick up my key from the doorman. Also in the email were driving directions from my location. I arrived doorman had my welcome packet and I went right to my room.........slick! cant think of a thing that I didnt like
The pool and hot tub and work out room - wonderful concierge
A little outdated
Clean, simple, tasteful. Small undergroundparking area allows fast indoor access to your vehicle directly from elevator. Quiet inside the place- walls seem very thick. awful yellow paint on them however. Nice basic restaurants, beer and grocery within walking distance.
Location and on-site parking were great. No AC in room. Might not matter on a typical Seattle day, but it was in the 80s and we were on the 5th floor. For $250/night, I expect to be comfortable; we had to keep finding reasons to go out because our room was so hot. Also, many different cleaning products with many different smells=a bit nauseating.
Location near restaurants we wanted to dine. No faults
The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The room has a kitchenette and the grocery store is right across the street. There is also a rooftop terrace. So go to the store, get some wine and cheese and watch the sun set over the sound. There are a lot of restaurants in the area and you can take the monorail to get into downtown Seattle. Also if you are taking a cruise, they have a shuttle to the piers. We were surprised that the inn does not mention this on their website. Our friends would have stayed there if they knew about this.
My family has stayed here two times now. We liked it so much the first time, we intentionally booked it for our following trip. The location is great! Close to Seattle center, super convenient public transportation, good food nearby- including an adorable old school bakery. The room we had was SMALL, despite us requesting a larger one at booking/online check in.
The location of this hotel cannot be beat. Steps away from the Seattle Center and a long walk or quick bus ride or monorail ride away from downtown and Pike Place Market. It wasn't anything fancy, but it was very clean and comfortable. I also loved that they have a little kitchenette in the room, with Safeway across the street and Metropolitan Market (best grocery store in Seattle) two blocks away. There wasn't anything I didn't like. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend and would stay here again.
Although this hotel is just about a 5 minute drive to downtown, I really liked the location. It's on a corner and easy to find, there are a handful of restaurants and bars within walking distance, and it's just enough out of town to where the streets and traffic aren't keeping you up at night or waking you up early morning. There is a Starbucks connected to the hotel which is nice. Overall it is a very simple but clean hotel. Only negative thing I could say is that the pillows aren't the most comfortable, but that's a small thing to complain about. Otherwise great hotel.
The room was well done, I had great views and the bed was super-comfy! The staff was incredibly helpful and nice. I didn't like paying an extra $18 for parking
This hotel was so much better than I could have imagined. Extremely clean, friendly staff, amazing location. The rooms were very comfortable and the rooftop view was really nice. It is walking distance to the space needle and pike place market and there are tons of cute restaurants around. They have bikes you can rent and umbrellas that you can check out for free. Parking was $18/night but they did let us leave it in the lot after we had checked out.
Great Location. Clean. Great staff. Room had a great view. Short walk to Needle and other attractions. Good places to eat nearby. Would gladly stay here again. My only gripe is the room was too small with the double beds. It was a bit difficult to move around in the room. This was a minor issue and would not stop me from staying again.
Clean, friendly staff, get a corner room where there's an awesome window that opens up to the outside. We arrived and the gentleman at the desk said our room wasn't quite ready. He said "I have a single bed room available, is that okay?" To which I responded, our room is a double bed room and I pulled out my receipt and showed him, to which he then gave us the correct room. (Which was very nice) During checkout we went up and told them we were leaving and then said we owe $460. I then said, "This was already pre-paid, and pulled out my receipt." He then said "Oh yes, I see it here."
Laundry facilities, rooftop viewing area, just a few blocks from the Seattle Center. 30+ downhill walk to Pikes Place.
Super convenient for going to the Sounders game. Staff was friendly and helpful. Clean and safe place to stay. The bed and pillows were not comfortable, so we both slept terribly.
The large TV was awesome The view of the stadium was cool Good proximity to the stadiums Wifi sucked Bed was not the best pillows were really soft Slightly noisy with the trains running by and the hallway noise
I liked the location (for the game) And I liked the restaurant and bar. I liked the pool and spa on the roof + extra towels. The staff seemed to be professional and courteous (except in one case) I didn't like the fact that a staff maintenance person barged into my room without notice or knocking then came face to face with me and backed up apologizing out the door without an explanation for the intrusion
YOu can't stay any closer to the stadiums. It's close enough to downtown to walk anywhere, or catching a bus is easy. I was able to watch some of the pre-game activities at SafeCo field from my room. They upgraded me to a King Suite with a view for free (I booked a reg. King Room), the room was spacious, had everything I needed, and overall was very good for being one of the less-expensive rates I could find near downtown. I had to mark things down just a little bit as the drain in the bathroom was clogged just a little, so some of the water would accumulate. There was also an extra bathtub with a shower head (I was in a suite), so I just used that. Not a big hassle. One morning I was working from my room, and they had a fire alarm test at 11am. Not a big deal, but it was a minor annoyance as I had to rush to put clothes on, and scramble out of my room, only to run into maintenance who told me there was no emergency.
Its claimed 4 1/2 stars is actually accurate based on my experience. none
Great location, modern, comfortable room, and very friendly, attentive service from hotel staff. Room was a bit small (but just fine for one person), and bathroom linens could use an upgrade. Hotel restaurant wasn't great.
location, room size
Staff very friendly. Restaurant food excellent.
The location of the hotel is very good, close to pike public market and central shopping area, only take 10mins to walk to either place. The staff in the hotel are very nice and helpful. The restaurant in the hotel offers very good breakfast.
The wine tasting hour was fantastic and the location was perfect for walking around the city. You have to request for a coffee maker in the room and the lobby coffee is only served for a short period in the morning. The parking for guests is rediculously expensive.
Overwhelmingly rude, arrogant unfriendly staff Additionally they were not familiar with the surrounding area - restaurant's I have never had a poorer experience anywhere Rude staff Arrogant - why are they in hospitality?
Efficient checkin and checkout. Clean rooms. Helpful staff. Did not like the aesthetic of the hotel. It had an 'Italian mobster' vibe to it and I felt uncomfortable at times, like I was going to get murdered. The female indie vocal artist made wine hour depressing. The bathroom was too basic for 4-star quality.
I loved the comfort of the bed and the decor was fabulous. Not the standard hotel look. The room smelled of curry. I just figured it was from the previous occupants. 😔
Staff & location were great!
The bed was very nice. The location was great. The young lady working the front desk was very rude. The closet used for hanging clothes and in which the robes were kept was locked and I couldn't open it. The halogen bulbs used in the lamps are awful. Also, there was a fish in a small bowl in the room.
Nice overall Thermostat and fireplace did not work. Shower splashed water out in bathroom.
Located right on the waterfront. Beautiful common rooms and restaurant to look over the water and watch the sunsets.
the Staff were So friendly & helpful..and Everyone was always Smiling! Décor was Just what I love...I call it "Rustic Elegance"...food was Very good. My room on the water was perfect and could have sat by my window on the water for Hours. Great location since I had the choice of walking to many things or take your shuttle. Will come again!! Too bad there isn't an "Upper Deck" or terrace on top where people could sit maybe half indoors/half out, to take in the views.
Nice waterfront location & lounge area. A bit dingy & a little shabby. Expensive waterfront room partly obscured by equipment, and staff not helpful w.r.t. finding alternative room. Bar is very loud but nice location & lively.
Bed and pillows were not comfortable
As tourists, the location was ideal and right in the middle of a ton of sites and restaurants. The decor and view were incredible as well, and I highly recommend cocktail hour in the gorgeous bar. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and both were incredible. Would absolutely recommend this to friends, and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The only complaint I have is that we had issues with our fireplace, and while I'm sure 98% of it was user error we also kept getting conflicting information on how to make it work from various hotel staff. We must have asked for instructions on how to turn it on and off four different times and were told four different instructions on how to operate it.
The location and the lobby guest lounge. The lack of parking forces you to use the valet at $41/day. A hotel of this prestige should offer a continental breakfast and free coffee in the dinning area. I've stayed at many hotels in this price range that do offer it and parking for guests is free. Definitely paying for the location and name.
This is a beautiful hotel on the water. The rooms are immaculate. The staff always helpful. The restaurant was an added bonus. Would definitely stay again.
I've stayed in better economy type inns. Cool location , but way dated and a need for up dating. The price didn't match the facilities
The room and staff were great!!! Clean everything!!! Great location!!! Overpriced valet parking $41.00!!! Just ridiculous!!!
The location is excellent. Our window opened over the water, literally. Built on a pier so the ocean was literally under our room. Cruise ships docked right out our window. The shuttle service was excellent although we only used it once to get to dinner then walked back so can't speak of the return service. Forced valet parking fee of $41 a night. Adds up pretty quickly. We stayed in a double/double room (no queens???, come on Edgewater) because the only king room available was over the bar which we were warned would have a band playing until midnight. So, my wife and I ended up sleeping in separate beds. Two adults in a double? Love her dearly but we both appreciate a little space when we are sleeping. We were unaware that the only heat source in the room was the fireplace. It was 90+ degrees so we didn't think about it during the day. Of course it kicked on in the middle when the temperature dropped. Didn't bother me much but it did bother my wife who was roasting since her bed was next to the fireplace. Don't get me wrong, the fireplace is a beautiful touch but would have appreciated a bit of warning about it automatically coming on during the night. Seemed a bit strange that the fireplaces in the common areas were lit even though it was record hot days the whole time we were there. I guess that should have been a clue. The shower head was held on with masking tape. Yes, masking tape. There were water stains on the ceilings. It would seem to me that a bit of paint and a new shower head in a room that costs $500 a night would not be an unreasonable expense for maintenance. Heck, use my parking fee for the weekend, that should cover it.
Great location, friendly, helpful staff. Only stayed one night so we didn't get to sample all the amenities. Bed wasn't as comfortable as we are used to.
Location is great....rooms are small but comfortable. Bathrooms are extra small. Staff is friendly and amenities are nice Amazing to find free wifi at a hotel these days
This hotel deserves a high rating! the location is great so close to everything, approximately a 8 minute walk from several places. If you are taking Uber there is an easy drop off/ pick up location right in front of the hotel. Very Modern and a great view! Staff was so sweet and they all wanted us to get the most out of Seattle. The staff will change your towels only if you make it obvious, they will restock and clean but towels were the only problem. Also the bathroom was nice but a bit small.
-location -black hair in the sink -red hair in the folded towels -mold on the ceiling -lack of communication about when our room was ready
Very nice room when we finally got what we requested. Really helpful staff. Loved the daily wine tasting. On site parking was awesome. Perfect location. Didn't have the bay view room we requested (overbooked-not ok) so we were stuck on a lower floor the first night which was incredibly noisy. Also it was Gay Pride weekend so it was crazy there. The next two nights we had a top floor bay view room which was awesome except there was this random really loud noise (elevator grinding or something ) that woke us up several times each night.
Employees are great and helpful! Great location. More of a business hotel. I booked a partial view of the bay room and it was just that. Expected a bit more than what I was hoping for and was let down. Unexpected charges.
Complimentary wine ; bed comfortable; quick check in: room was nice; location; Temperature in the fitness was far too warm: could not adjust. Called staff but no response
The location was excellent in the center of everything. Two blocks to convention center. Five to Pike's Place Market. Close to numerous excellent restaurants. Walking distance to Space Needle and Frontier Square. Rooms a little tight for more than a couple nights.
Great location, nice modern design inside, reasonably comfy beds. We arrived around midnight and needed another set of towels so we could all shower. They said sure, they'd send them up. An hour later, no towels. Called down, asked them to leave them in the hall so we'd at least have enough towels in the morning. They said sure, we'll do that, sorry for the delay. Morning comes - no towels.
Great hotel - reasonable for downtown hotel Everything was great
The motif is a great place to stay. I went to Seattle with my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday. It was the perfect location as it is in the middle of downtown Seattle. We didn't have to go far to get a bite to eat or to have a few drinks. It's a nice hotel, the rooms were clean and it was very spacious. Coffee and water in room. They upgraded our room since it was a special occasion. Overall I had a great time and I will stay there again when I go back to Seattle.
Great hotel overall. There is a bar area on the terrace thats a great place to hangout and have a few drinks. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, even helped me out with my toothpaste i forgot at home. Close to pikes market and everything down town. Nothing, it was a great experiece.
Fine bed. European style room size and age. great staff. Very convenient walk to Pike market, town and public transport.
Bed was super comfortable, nice view, great coffee, staff and location good. The shower was nice too. The room design is horrible. I couldn't sit all the way on the toilet it was so poorly located, and I'm a small girl. It's under a shelf and about 4 inches from the wall on all sides. The room lid sagged with water damage. Just felt like they were way more concerned with getting as many rooms in the building as they could, than comfort. Especially for the price I payed. I'm gonna probably stay else where next time.
Location to Century Link Field was good. Good location to other amenities. The bar downstairs was really good. Rooms were small and dated.
Great location with in walking distance of Pike Place Market and restaurants. Small bathroom. Room looks tired.
Location is great and the price is good. The rooms were tiny and pretty well worn.
I did not like how small the rooms were. The linen had stains on them. The shower was dirty upon arrival. Housekeeping took a really long time to even arrive to clean the room, we called the front desk for clean towels instead. The night before coming back home I realized that housekeeping had either taken or thrown away my bag full of souvenirs. That was the cherry on top of my disappointment about this hotel. I would not recommend it to my friends or family. The lady at the front desk, Consuela, told me I would receive a call from the Manager the next day regarding my souvenirs. Its been more than a week since I've been back home and still have not received a call.
Very clean and nice, I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a room in down town.
The location wasn't bad. It had long hairs on the bathroom walls. There was a long piece of scotch tape on the walls. I found out the next morning when I'd gotten up to go to my meeting the clock in the room was 1 1/2 hours off the time. I set the alarm for 6am and got up, unknowingly at 4:30 in the morning because the clock was wrong.
The staff was friendly and courteous at all times. We arrived a bit early and our original room wasn't ready so we went to the Woodland Park Zoo for a couple hours. Upon returning downtown, our original room still wasn't ready but Jennifer upgraded us to the Presidential King suite and it made our weekend romantic and unbelievably fantastic. I can't say enough about our experience. The room was huge, clean, comfortable, and quite enjoyable. The two full bathrooms allowed us to get ready in a very short amount of time. We didn't use the living room all that much but it was laid out in such a way that it could be comfortable for business or leisure. While we were mainly running around Seattle enjoying the rainy weather and beautiful city, we were extremely comfortable in our huge suite when we returned "home." Once again, the staff was absolutely perfect. We were treated wonderfully and there is no doubt that we will be back.
Close to attractions and public transportation to airport, nice neighborhood, coffee house downstairs has friendly and helpful staff. Hotel staff was nice too, and provided maps and directions and suggestions for places to eat close by. Room is quaint, quiet but maybe because I had no neighbors - can hear people talking outside the room and in adjacent rooms. All in all more than adequate. Not a problem as long as you aren't big and tall - toilet is awkwardly situated in the room I was in, and the bathroom design was not thoughtfully done I think. Just a little quirky.
Location make it convenient to get around downtown. Room was very warm with no way to turn down the heat or cool it off and guests in the room next door talking all night made it hard to sleep.
The staff was very helpful and kind, but the rooms were very small, and had minimal amenities. The wine hour was nice, the location was great for walking to Pike's Place, and Space Needle area is a seven minute drive. Overnight parking anywhere nearby is 30-$40 a night, so factor that into your costs. Small rooms, expensive parking, thin walls, small tv
Location is central, walking distance to everything. Very clean. Super comfy bed. Everything is extra. Need wifi? Pay extra. Parking? Extremely expensive. Staff are confused, rude, and seem that they don't want to be there. Parking was a huge ordeal as reception didn't know anything about it. Had to go back and forth to reception to get key activated. Check in and accessing the parking took over an hour. Calling reception feels like you have disrupted them from something important and have no time for you. Rooms are beautiful but any notice on walkway echoes inside, at all times of the day/night. Very noisy.
1. Late check in around 12:30 am - due to construction and lateness of hour, it was very difficult to get in the hotel... doors locked, escalator not working, ... When it was pointed to check in Peloponnese, not a note or tone of sympathy! How can Westin put someone front desk with this type of attitude 2. Hotel fire - when we got back late afternoon there was fire earlier in the day that has left very smoky smell in our room. They put out notes but when we checked out following morning, I had to bring it up in conversation.
Although we like the convenience of the location, the parking ramp spaces are too narrow. Someone hit our vehice during our weekend stay. We filed a report, but no one has followed up with us. Very disappointing.
Loved the view! Very clean & the bed was very comfortable I would stay again. didn't have anything to drink in the room
Well done to the Westin staff. Best hotel best value!
central city location this is not a luxury hotel. The pool is barely adequate.
Everything except the exorbitant amount of cost for items in the room that were set to a weight sensor. I bumped the fridge and was worried that they charged my card that night. Nothing went through, thankfully. Other than that, everything was excellent!
We booked this for our honey moon. Nightmare Small room. They then upgraded us yo a suite and chafed us a fortune. No sorry, no offer to make our stay better. So upset will never stay again. DR. Brian Bledsoe
Pros: Located within short walking distance of shopping, transit station, monorail, restaurants, and Pike Place Market. Staff friendly and helpful. Soft, comfortable beds and pillows, like sleeping on a cloud. Beautiful views of the city. Cons: A single staff member at the concierge desk treated us as if we were bothering her and wasting her time after we had patiently been waiting for 5 minutes or so for her to finish with a phone call before helping us, as if us waiting quietly near the desk to ask a question was somehow an annoyance to her.
The staff was very helpful and accommodating to a large party. It would be nice if they had a hotel shuttle.
Everything was fine All other hotels in this class usually provide free internet. Even if one has to pay I don't understand the exorbitant cost. Shameful gouging!
really liked the shower
Shuttle driver gary was nice and helpful. A sauna would be nice. Tv channel menu on tv very cumbersome. Bathroom kinda small.
Clean and comfortable room and conveniently located next to Seattle University. The hotel staff were friendly and efficient! The free shuttle to points in downtown provides access to great restaurants, shopping and landmarks.
Hotel has all needs covered including shuttles and secured parking. Location is not horrible but is out of the way of you want to walk to anything
The staff were quick with recommendations and very friendly, the hotel was clean and comfortable, and virtually everything I wanted to do was within walking distance. Capitol Hill is a great area with lots of bars and restaurants and not too bad of a walk to get downtown or to Pikes Place (if you're looking for a good hike). Otherwise they offer a free round trip shuttle to a few other central locations.
Great location, comfortable bed and nice tv. No gym
Location is central. Walking distance to everything. Room was spacious and my bed was big and comfortable. Front desk staff was helpful and very accomodating. All in all, I enjoyed my stay and would love to stay in Paramount hotel again the next time I visit Seattle. None
We like that it's so close to the theatre The wet towel in the tub
Rooms and facilities were clean and quite luxurious, great location and very friendly staff.
Very central location. Easy to get to, easy to get out of. Great bed and bath. The Internet was slow.
Great location. Comfortable bed. Very friendly and helpful staff
Staff, beds and location
The room actually exceeded my expectations, based upon price and photos. The bed was comfortable, the room was just the right temperature, and LOVED that the shower stall was bathtub sized without a bathtub. The toiletries provided were top quality, as well. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and had me checked in and out with light speed. Definitely will come back and am already recommending the Paramount to my coworkers who travel in and out of town. A stocked refrigerator would have been nice, but all I really missed was cold water to drink.
Staff was very attentive and helpful. I was able to check out and store baggage until later in the day when I got my vehicle out of valet parking. This allowed me to attend a meeting without concern for moving my car. Saturday night was a little noisy on my floor. Too much St Paddy's Day celebration I suppose.
Very pleasant and friendly. Great location! Extremely clean. Perfect for our trip!
Craft beer everyday from 5-6pm for free and as much as you can drink in an hour.
Quick walk from the airport light rail, quick walk to the convention center. Clean and nicely appointed room. With the deal I got it was a reasonable value. Room was small. Standard price is way too high.
Kudos to the staff who were always very friendly and helpful! The room was very small.
Location was nice. Convenient walk to Market. Terrible service. Everyone on staff seemed new. Valeted car was a waste of time. One person running entire hotel for all guests. When I needed my vehicle I was ultimately in a line until the one assistant for the hotel could help us. Then they had to take an elevator to get the vehicle which was a huge time waster for us. A few times we needed access to our vehicle and it was very inconvenient. Upon arrival we asked for a particular type of shop and the staff told us that corporate said they were not allowed to talk to us about that. They literally did not tell us where to go in town to find what we were looking for. Very strange and uncomfortable.
I just loved everything. Would definitely stay there again. I was supposed to stay two night but they double booked my room so they moved me to another hotel. Though it was handled very nicely, I would have preferred to stay there both nights.
Attentive staff, young, fun, friendly funky Bathrooms v small
Friendly staff; good location Mini full room is smaller than my expectation; the bathroom and restroom are separated.
A boutique hotel that's worth every penny. The staff is super friendly and genuine. The rooms are clean and the beds super comfortable. The location is perfect for downtown as shopping and pike place market are all within walking distance. This is my go to hotel from now on... The elevators are super slow so give your self extra time if you're rushing in the morning.
I liked the overall feel and look of the lobby, the staff was nice, so was the location. When we booked a room, it was listed as a 2 person 'microqueen' which I assumed would be a bed somewhere between a full and a queen. It was actually a queen-sized bed in a room that was barely larger than a queen-size bed. It kind of feels like you are in the shipping container of the mattress. If all you want to do is lie on a bed it's cool, but it's quite cramped.
The beds are really comfortable the room are clean we plan to come back. The bathroom was a little small but it worked
Getting a glass of beer at check out was great. Nice staff and great for couples. The rooms can seem a tad small at times. Any more than two people and there is definitely no where to sit. However, I also chalk that aspect up to the intimate vibe of the hotel.
The front staff was awesome and very helpful. The rooms were spacious yet cozy and the beds were so comfy!!
The front desk staff were extremely helpful at check in and also when we asked for assistance about shopping etc. The breakfast is very good. We appreciated the availability of a free shuttle to places of interest, the valet parking, and the free newspaper. When we arrived it was dark and we drove past as the signage is not that good.
Nice clean room with all the amenities I could need.
Excellent customer service. Convenient location for public transit and walking around downtown and Capitol Hill. Great deal for kitchenette and workout room. Will stay again, highly recommend.
Great proximity to sites of interest. Our ceiling would occasionally leak over the entryway floor.
They were very accommodating. We arrived late in the evening and very tired from the drive. As soon as we got to the front desk, they told us that a pipe had burst and that our room was flooded. Before we could even say anything in response, the manager said he had booked us at a different hotel that was closer to where we wanted to be, had comp'ed our room and hotel parking, and gave us a letter to give to the next hotel. The next hotel had a friendly front desk, the rooms were nice and the breakfast was very good. Not just cold cereal but actual pastries and hot food. Would stay there again for sure. I never like staying at a hotel where you have to pay for parking, especially when there's no airport shuttle.
I liked how the rooms were bigger than expected. The way I was treated @ the front desk by the clerk, he was short w/ me while talking & kind of rude.
The front desk staff were amazing! So nice and helpful!
Breakfast is awesome! Linens got stained and the room smells awful paid 50+ for valet.. Ridiculous! No self parking btw
The hotel staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The breakfast and dinner feature was a nice option as I was traveling on business. Room was spacious and nicely decorated. The major negative feature of this hotel was the highway right outside the front of the hotel. It was very loud in the room even late at night due to trucks especially. Earplugs were provided; however, the constant hum became irritating after a day or two. Maybe replace the windows in the front hotel rooms to be more noise blocking.
Excellent! Lots of room, comfortable, clean, good complimentary breakfast & dinner. Two Big TV's, in LR and BR; giant bathroom. Good location, everything downtown a short walk away. Quiet, good privacy. I'll stay here again, EVERY time. What's not to like?
From the time we checked in until we checked out everyone of the staff members that we encountered was friendly and helpful. All of the accommodations at this hotel during our stay was exactly what we would expect from a stay at a Homewood Suites by Hilton. There was nothing that we did not like.
No tea coffee making items in room expensive to buy a cup of coffee
Everything. From the moment we arrived, the Valet was superb, the doormen were excellent, the front desk staff were fantastic, and the room was great. Every touch point with the staff was top notch. No
everything first class

It was everything you would expect from a boutique hotel like Kimpton. They offered wine in the lobby in the evenings as well as the regular amenities. I enjoyed the rooms being named after different wineries and the wine-inspired art was unexpected. I do not at all think it is good practice for hotels to charge such a huge amount for wifi. Terrible practice.
It was near where I wanted to be. The valet misplaced the keys to my rental car for about 45 minutes in the evening. I needed to pack some things in my car and get some sleep before an important work thing early the next morning. It was very stressful.
The hotel has large rooms and a huge comfortable bed. Someone has taken the time to add a level of chic design that makes the room special. Staff were fabulous. Parking is costly, like most in downtown Seattle. The parking lot is connected w/valet service

the front desk did an amazing job in receiving us! We were there for one night in a mini-moon and enjoyed the complementary wine hour they hosted that evening, not sure if it was coincidence but it a neat surprise!

It seemed clean. The room was TINY. The furniture was over sized and the lamp on the bedside table was so large that I couldn't fit my CPAP machine (4' x 8') on the table. The had zip tied the lamp plug in so I was unable to remove that. The front desk was RUDE!
Quality and comfort of room. Very upscale ambiance. No fans in the bathroom. Can easily hear voices/noises from other rooms through vent system.
Loved the animal print robes! Historic building, great location.
Great Rooms, great staff and great location. Cost to park the car
Great staff and great amenities, but the service stands out above all else. Hotel restaurant menu was a bit thin and hotel overall was pricey.
view of Elliott Bay Room too small; bathtub too small for two people.
Everything. Food was great. Staff was very helpful None
Helpful friendly staff, stylish modern furnishing and lighting in room, safety deposit box in room, good size tv (with CNN), good bed, good food in restaurant. nothing
Convenient location. Well appointed room. Excellent staff.
The location was great, in the heart of downtown. The room was absolutely amazing, with plenty of light, a gorgeous bathroom, and the whole thing was kept very clean. However, the shining star of this hotel was clearly the staff. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and to accommodate any needs you have. We stayed for our 10 year anniversary, and this was the best hotel experience we have had in those 10 years. If I had to pick anything it would be that the room service food from BOKA was slightly overpriced. It was good though so I can't complain too much.
The entire staff was friendly and courteous and seemed to want our stay to be a pleasant experience, and it was! The room was clean, tastefully appointed and well laid out. The bath was great with a large soaking tub and a separate shower. $40 charge for valet parking
Privacy and the staff The noise from Construction
Clean and large rooms with great movie selection View of downtown was obscured a bit by an ugly backlot.
I enjoyed the room! The resterant was splended aswell. The bathroom was amazing! I never take bath, but I jus had to at hotel 1000, the tub was huge! I would totally stay again The only thing I did not like about the hotel was how confusing the payment was... but everything else was perfect!
Well located downtown. Well designed. Great staff and good coffee and champagne in the lobby. Lovely rooms. Tubs fill from ceiling which is a little silly and splashes on the floor. Minor complaint for a lovely hotel,
Great location and very friendly staff. Room was very nice with a great bathroom. Bed was great and room was very clean. I would recommend this hotel. A little hard to find hotel because the name is on the side not on 1st Ave. Just the bldg address number 1000. Parking price kind of steep. $40.00 plus tax and something came to about $46 a night for one car.
From the moment we pulled up to the hotel, the service was fantastic. Jerry helped us with our bags, showed us around the hotel--giving a great history of the décor, and then walked us up to our room. He gave us advice on where to go and what to do. The staff at the desk and the bar were just as attentive and kind. The room was the perfect size for the two of us, and all necessary items were stocked and clean. It was a great visit!
The staff were wonderful and extremely helpful. Nothing
Clean, ok location, Smell
Front desk was so nice Hotel felt tired and was smelly
Beautiful historic hotel, great location, excellent staff.
European feel; cozy, un-Holiday Inn room; excellent in-room coffee; good bed with nice sheets and a variety of pillow types and fill; accommodating staff; very nice toiletry items Noise - I could hear my neighbors and people in the corridors; old windows let in lots of street noise
Old charm with all the comforts
I stay at a hotels a lot and what I normally consider a great experience is when a hotel does a great job of alleviating the inconvenience of not being at my own house with my own stuff and kitchen. But the sorrento is a whole other thing. It's effing fabulous. I felt instantly relaxed and at home, if my home were a huge gilded age mansion. The food is wonderful, the staff is very available, the lobby area- I just wanted to hang out there and not go out. Even the courtyard, which is on a busy street, was like a cocoon. The whole experience was like being in another better world. AND there was tons of free street parking within a 2 blocks radius! The one lame thing was there is only one elevator, but it is a genuinely old building, and what're you gonna do? It moved fast- you could tell they've made an effort to make it as speedy as possible. And it had a rug that said the day of the week! Which is more reassuring than you might think when you are travelling.
I liked being welcomed at the door by 3 people. The rug in the elevator was an unexpected treat and photo op. The room was plush. The bar was a relaxing place for a drink and dinner which was very good. It was also good to find parking nearby on the street. I didn't like that I wasn't told that there would be an incindental charge on my card for possible expenses incurred in the room. The next day I saw the charge and called the hotel and was then told why. She said it was something we should have been informed of. The charge "fell off" the next day.
A lovely facility, friendky stff great service. A nice treat. no
restaurant and service Noisy courtyard, thin walls
