Great Space, nice and clean and bed is comfy! There was a women convention and my neighbors were very loud and disconsidered, also front desk made a mistake and woke me up at 8am
It was clean For the price they tend to give you the least updated room. So you get the omni name but not the quality experience you expect
Centralized location, affordable. No valet the night we arrived, pearking area was dark and entrances were a good distance from the parking lots. I would not have felt comfortable with my wife walking to the car at night. The room left much to be desired as well, only a double room availability right next to noisy I-10 FWY. The room was clean but had a mildew odor and the AC was extremely loud which may have been intentional to drown out the hwy noise. Saturday evening only one very small elevator was functioning so waits for a spot on the elevator exceeded 5 minutes. Not a hotel I'd recommend.
I liked the comfort and overall feel. I liked the pond and the easy access to the hotel from the parking lot. They don't offer basic services offered and 2 or 3 star hotels like complementary breakfast. Also they "offer" drinks and snacks in the room but at very pricy extra cost. $3 or $4 for a can or soda or snack bar.
A very nice hotel. The staff was great, the room was quiet and equipped as you'd expect. Lobby was tremendous. A must-stay if you're in west Houston!
Great stay with very friendly and helpful staff. All arrangements were fulfilled and hotel offered as many amenities as any traveler could dream of. Fantastic overall experience! Hotel was such a retreat, It instantly made me regret not booking more nights! I had a great experience for my first time at the Omni.
The hotel was very nice and very clean. The food was great too. The only thing that I didn't like was at 7:50 am the maid let herself in and woke me. She left immediately, but still that was somewhat strange.
The place was beautiful. Very kind and helpful staff. Easy check in and check out. Good time over all. Asked for a king bed, got two full beds. .-. I was a solo traveler and had no need for the other one. But oh well life goes on.
$75 a night for a 4star hotel.
This old property has a great lobby and fountains to view outside. Parking was limited so use valet. Small clean rooms and quiet. The night staff swiped my card on the wrong room. Then britney said she was doing me a favor giving me a 2nd set of keys and needed to swipe debt again...
The fish pond in the lobby the pillows were really soft and overalll it was a good place Housekeeping coming at 9:00am
everything was good
Convenient location, nice hotel, nice grounds, friendly staff Everything was fine
The neighborhood stores has different varieties and it's very convenience. There is no frigeratior
Staff was very welcoming at check in and very courteous at check out. The hot water in the bathroom took literally 7 minutes to get warm.
Very nice centrally located hotel staff was nice hotel was clean my only bad experience the food was a little under cooked on the late night room service
My company paid for & reserved a king room. When I arrived I was told the king room was sold out. They put me in a double room. Usually when this occurs a hotel puts you in a better room not a lesser room. Had to go to desk the following day to insist on better room. Which at that point they did provide.
Complimentary internet, complimentary parking, and real great location. Internet is a little slow, and the carpet felt a little dirty/wet
Everything was clean, the bed was large, and the man who checked us in gave us a couple of free water bottles when we asked about how to get water. Even though it was Christmas. There was no fridge or microwave, and we got free wifi because it was Christmas, but wifi should always be free in a hotel regardless of what day it is.
I am not sure why it is 4 stars. The rep at check in barely made eye contact. Bedding needs updating.
Very professional and Clean I had to wait because the system was down but I understand that.
We only stayed one night. Had an event to attend in Houston area. Staff was friendly NA
The pool is big with an indoor and outdoor area. It also had a small infant pool. Fitness and locker rooms were that of a 4 diamond resort. Very friendly staff. Will stay here again.
Most days, house keeping left no water, even though I was on the 8th floor.
We liked cleanliness, nice fixtures, location - we have stayed here before. We did NOT like fact that we booked using Kayak price of $84 (before taxes) but got charged $99 (before taxes) with no explanation. Very noisy crowd of party goers up and down hall bragging about how drunk they were and how much drinker they planned on getting - that did not help.
The grounds are immaculate; the staff is attentive; and rooms are luxe; the location is prime. This hotel feels like an oasis in the city. I would recommend for business travelers and pleasure vacationers alike.
Second stay here with my wife. Very Luxurious. We sleep/eat/workout here in style. Concierge didn't call a cab when he said he would. Was pretty annoyed about that.
Service at this hotel is wonderful From the time you step out of the car till the time you leave, the staff is welcoming and helpful. Always polite and curteous The trails are wonderful for walking or running and the pools are warm and inviting. The health club/exercise area is kept clean and the staff is there to assist you in any way necessary.
My bride and I stayed her our wedding night. The staff was fantastic! Plus they had a bottle of chilled sparkling wine in the room waiting for us! It was a nice touch. The bed was extremely comfortable! The AC wasn't working properly. We had to call to have an "engineer" come to fix it. They were very nice but we were not looking forward to our wedding night to have someone come fix the AC in our room...kinda puts a damper on our evening.
The staff was exceptional. The grounds were amazing. We did one of the free fitness classes which was really good. Look forward to coming back!
Concierge level was brilliant. Excellent health club with flexible child care options. pleasant location. Shame about other guests with attitude. A couple of snooty types can ruin the impression of everyone.
Excellent Spa, 3 pools, walking/jogging track thru lush green grounds. First class accommodations! Unfortunately we booked a King room, but only a 2 Queen room was available.
The staff was friendly & the room was very clean The parking lots were sort of complicated.
Room and amenities. Breakfast in 0124 Restaurant was tasteless except for fruit.
The stafff exceeded expectations on many levels The gym/workout was small and the valet was often overwhelmed with events so that cabs and Uber's were backed up literally 325-30 cars behind the valet
Very clean. Could not get toothpaste sent to room after housekeeping had left and needed to go down to front reception. Person at the desk that hour was not customer oriented.
The price was great for a Friday night Our room was on the highway side which didn't subside all night.
Great location, very clean, all the staff is willing to help, they make themselves available and at the same time are invisible, you feel like this is your home with a staff. Elevators to too small; however not a deal breaker.
Great location Staff was very discourteous. I typically like aloft hotels, but this hotel is poorly managed. Hotel staff seems bias towards certain customers.
Staff is absent.
I've stayed in several Aloft locations. Like the others, it is simple and modern. The rooms are on the small side, but they are laid out very efficiently. They're clean and well-designed. The staff has always been extremely friendly and they have a decent little bar, pool table, gym, etc. which are a bit bare-bones, but cheery. I'm always very happy to stay there. This particular location is pretty good for me. The Galleria area is somewhat walkable for Houston and if you are driving, there are plenty of great food options nearby. Also, depending on the room you get, there are some pretty good views. Parking is an additional $16, so you have to factor that into the cost of staying there... and while I said it's kind of walkable, you'll still need a car for the most part. The buses in Houston are kind of the worst (that used to be my primary mode of transportation when I lived there). Also, things nearby tend to shut down relatively early. If you want to have dinner after 10pm (which is not a crazy request in NYC, for instance) you'll have very few options. There is a bar/restaurant across the street that is pretty decent and open until 1 or 2am... and a Mexican place that is .5 miles away that is actually good... but there's nothing in-between, so you'll be the only person walking... or you could drive, but then drinking and driving... Not sure how that's supposed to work... But that's more of a Houston problem, than a problem with the hotel. The hotel is great.
Simple clean accommodations. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy to navigate, great location and price. It was aurally a bit stressful. The speaker inside the elevator was blown and there was a persistent beep from a malfunctioning fire alarm. I spoke to the concierge and he was as distressed about it as I was. It helped. I start to feel like an old person, but sound matters. This is a minor issue, but the question was asked.
while i was paying cash, bartender seemed to want to overcharge me after a few driinks......
Hated everything. Not classy at all.
Location! Next to the mall Nothing, it was great
I love the fact that it was close to EVERYTHING! We literally could've walked everywhere except the night clubs Housekeeping was very intrusive! They just entered the room and each time I wasn't prepared for an unexpected visitor!!
I like the look of the hotel and the outdoor fire pit. Was great for pictures plus I was warm. Lol The parking should be less. ($10 the most) not (16$) but I guess. Enjoy Aloft I did.
Rooms were adequate. Hotel was quite. It was in a great and accessible location. I thought the hotel was going to be really fun and trendy, but it ended being for utilitarian in decor and basic.
Clean, organized and well-designed.
Access to Galleria. Friendly staff. Bathroom door is too heavy and doesn't close all the way. Not a huge fan of Alofts. Trying too hard to be hip, but cannot pull it off because it's corporate. Having said that I would easily stay again for the value.
I had a change of plans that required I drive into Houston earlier than the 3PM check in time. The staff gave me a temporary room to make a clothing change and stored my luggage until I was able to check in after my function. Everyone was so courteous and made my stay that much better. I will book there again without hesitation. The area was close to everything.
The price was good. The staff was friendly. However, I could not help but to feel cheated. These 'suites' are not what you get some where like the Homewood suites where there are two separate rooms (TV room and bed room) these suites were one big room with bookshelves in between. Not good when you want to put two kids to sleep and enjoy some time. The pool was great during the day. At night forget it, its pitch dark I relayed my concerns to the front t desk who adviced me the lights were not working apparently due to some glitch in the remodeling process (they are in middle of extensive renovation). One more thing, the parking garage has a card reader which allows you to access the premises, it?s in the back of the property through a narrow alley, when my wife made the turn into the card reader, she took the turn INTO the card reader. My wife?s fault totally but just something to watch out for, she claims that card reader came out of nowhere and hit her.
Overall this was a great hotel. In our room we especially appreciated the shower, bed, pillows and revolving tv. The shower was amazing with great pressure. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. We almost did not want to get out of bed in the morning. The room was spacious and laid out very well allowing plenty of room for furniture not often seen a hotel room. The mirror in the closet with a plug next to it made it so efficient to put makeup on and do hair while others used the bathroom. The price was even better. Out of all the hotel chains we have stayed at this was far one of the better rooms. We will definitely stay here next time we are in Houston.
There is only one thing I don't like is why I have to pay extra for parking when I stay at their hotel.
Wonderful location and on site parking. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast and coffee were good and I would definately stay here again.
Rooms are beautiful--tastefully decorated, bright, comfortable, well laid-out. Complimentary breakfast is comprehensive. Manager's receptions during the week have good appetizers and wine and beer. Really comfortable here.
Loved the location of the hotel close to the Galleria. Even though we had a car, we were a le to walk to stores and restaurants. Enjoyed the suite and cleanliness of the hotel. Staff was great and we enjoyed the breakfast and happy hour. Will come back again.
Although the hotel was showing its' age, the hotel staff and everyone taking care of our room and the breakfast was superb! Can't say enough about the service we got! Would definately recommend, especially since this was a suite hotel and had lots of moving room in our room!
Hotel is simply outstanding when it comes to the decor, business service amenities and location. Staff go above and beyond to help customers. Breakfast options were average- hot and cold selections
I was very impressed. The room was extremely functional.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was an odor in our room.
Location This hotel is not a Best Western Hotel it is an old hotel converted &then they slap the Best Western label on it I did not enjoy finding that out also this hotel is definitely not part of the Energy Corridor group of hotels this was disappointing subpar.
The room was comfortable and the location is great for family. Cable and wi-fi was excellent. The room air-conditioner didn't get cold, just cool enough to be comfortable. Breakfast time was way too loud. I suggest a sign be placed up to be noticed. People were over talking each other.Very rude. The hash browns weren't cooked. Yes, I mean just raw potatoes dumped in a crock-pot. The coffee should be changed as it was tasteless. Other items were tasty.
The room was spacious. The thermostat was easy to operate. The staff was friendly. The bed was a little too hard. The layout of the hotel was awkward.
good price for a quality stay ....
Centrally located Rooms on the ground floor were flooded
The hotel was close to lots of shopping and easy to get to from interstate. Only stayed 1 night so everything was fine for our brief stay.
convenient to the Galleria air conditioner too noisy; room phone rang twice (~1 AM and 5 AM) in the middle of the nights for no reasons both nights while I stayed there??
The hotel is very quite, practical, and friendly. The free parking is a plus No
Location was good. Easy to get in & out, close to freeway. It would be nice if they had more snack selections. The phone in our room didn't work.
Good hotel if you want to stay in the Houston/Galleria area.
Good central location near many restaurants and shopping centers. The reception staff was attentive and welcoming. The business center computer was available 24 hours and quite fast. Good wholesome breakfast, with fresh fruit, cereals, hot items changed daily, especially like the waffle maker. One evening the staff put out complimentary fresh baked cookies which was a nice touch. But why not every day? The room was clean and the bedding comfortable with lots of pillows. I noticed a bit of mold in the bathroom. The hotel has self-laundry facility but no vending machine for detergent and front desk didn't sell it either. The swimming pool was very small. We arrived in winter so no problem for us but could be a factor for families vacationing in summer.
Very nice and well mannered hotel staff The fact that there was no bar no liquor
Good hotel to stay with children (calm and comfort) I've notice a big insect (room was on ground floor). But i was totally satisfied with immediately move to another room on 1st floor.
Very good area near shopping and restaurants.
I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was. I wasn't in it except to sleep, but thought it looked like a high end hotel room. I loved the wooden cabinets and built ins around the window. The bed was a little hard for me and made my hip sore the first night.
Easy access from interstate, very friendly staff, lots of good places to eat near by. Room was very comfortable and clean
The Hotel was great. Location was great. Room was great. Weather force me to cut my trip short by one day. I need to get home or be delayed. The hotel didn't charge Kayak the extra day but there was no recourse for me to get any portion of my cost back for the last day. Hotel and Kayak won-Me, the customer, lost big time. Because of this I'll most likely pay more for the room and have an option if I can't stay the full time. Very unhappy!
Clean rroms, friendly helpful staff. great breakfast
REALLY good breakfast. For the first time in my whole life I didn't use the wifi so I can't comment on it. Beds are great and the place is immaculate. Rooms are a bit small. Two people should not try to walk around at the same time in a studio.
The pool,the service the room
This is very convenient location for me, I will stay here when I have a business trip in Houston
We were in Houston for my sons 25 Birthday and reserved a room at the hotel for the convience (my son lived about 6 blocks from there). I know that Marriotts are always nice hotels but the Fairfield was wonderful. The staff was very polite and courteous and always helpful. They worked hard to keep things clean and neat. I usually hate the pillows and beds at hotels but these were wonderful, like sleeping on a cloud. We will certainly use them again when we are in town.
Room with 1 King was great and the pillows are Wonderful. Very friendly and personable staff. Good breakfast, many selections, pleasing dining room dC)cor.
spotless room - entire hotel was immaculate! Everything seemed brand new? no ice in the ice machine and only one ice machine on first floor only - book in room said otherwise. Otherwise I would have given them a perfect score!
The cleanliness and the size of the room and bathroom and the friendliness of the staff members. None.
Front desk staff was welcoming Unfriendly rude server at the breakfast bar. Coffee served room temperature. Maid did a half-ass job making the beds. Worst hotel stay I have had in 15 years.
This place was super clean and smelled great. The beds were super comfortable. Loved the Kureig coffee pot in the room but the complimentary coffee in the lobby was even better. The staff was verry professional and nice. Only heard someone in the hallway once which was early Saturday morning other than that never heard a sole in or three night stay. The saltwater pool was nice and never crowded and I loved the waterfall. Overall this was the best hotel I've stayed at other than a really high end Sofitel I stayed at in London. Pool was a little cloudy and small and there were birds that loved to take a bath in the waterfall feature. This was not a huge deal but made me a little uneasy about the safety of the pool. Additionally the complimentary coffee was not sat out until 7ish I would have liked if it was sat out earlier for the early risers.
