Whilst we were only at the resort for one night prior to our cruise we were all really surprised at how nice the hotel is. Our experience with "airport hotels" is not very postive but the Novotel Nadi was a great surprise. Would definately stay again. The free internet was very useful and the breakfast great.
room service was not very good
Comfort, facilities, cleanliness no
The Novotel Nadi is conveniently located about 5 minutes drive from Nadi airport and the free shuttle bus was appreciated. The rooms were clean and comfortable and had all that we needed. We stayed for one night before our flight home.
Staffs are friendly and helpful. They are flexible on extending my check out time. very near to airport and provide free airport transfer.
Check-in was quick and friendly. Good value (we have stayed there many times). Not on beach -- but taxis to beach/airport are easy to get and cheap. Didn't try restaurant -- which was poor in the past, but has been refurbished. Only complaint is that former main bar, an attractive feature, has been removed.
Facilities, Restaurant, Services
Excellent location, close to Nadi Airport, very good rooms and facilitities together with helpful and friendly staff.
The rooms were lovely The reservation desk was a shambles and had no knowledge of our booking and speaking to others this was common. The food was expensive for the area and rather poor.
the staff was so very, very nice. the bar was fun and the food was good. no television (though we were rarely in the room), no roof on the bathroom so not as much privacy as an American would like.
Location Nothing is included and the optional are a little expensive
I chose this hotel based on its low rate and proximity to Nadi airport, and as such, I wasn't expecting much. However, I was more than pleasantly surprised when I was shown to my bure which was large, comfortable and charming. The room was cleaned every day. All the staff are a joy and the place is run very efficiently. I ate at the restaurant every night and the food was delicious. My aim was to have a relaxing holiday and I definitely achieved this in lovely surroundings. It's a place where you can do as much as you want or as little as you want - I chose the latter and it was perfect. It's only a 15 minute drive from Nadi airport, so it's ideal if you've got a short stopover in Fiji. The beach/sea is disappointing, but there is always the swimming pool! It rained for most of the time I was there, so going to the beach wasn't an issue.
Lovely setting of bungalows, chairs and hammocks along the beach. Staff very helpful and pleasant. The air conditioning in our small room could not cool it below 80 degrees, even when we had it running for 3 days straight. Beach is covered in trash: plastic, tires, glass. There was so much broken glass that we had to wear sandals into the water.
The room was ok and clean. The staf is very bad, the location of the resort is very very bad, away from anything and in front of a horrible beach dirty with brown water. And they charge you 50 cents a minute for using internet (only one computer).
we liked the food, nice and friendly atmosphere, good value for money, close to nadi centre.
It was very relaxing good facilaties , resturant bar pool staff very friendly and obliging. The rooms were a bit dated .My booking was in US dollars but they wanted to charge in Fiji dollars.Something booking .com needs to look into,
N/A very dirty run down hotel.....needs a new fit out for the cost you pay!
the staff at the front desk were great! Always helpful and friendly :) the bed sheets/covers looked stained with ground in dirt. Bathroom towels also not clean. Breakfast should be included in room rate.
Location near Nadi town, Denerau Marina and airport is great. Staff were very accommodating. Room was simple. Shower was excellent. Price couldn't be beat.
ok The bathroom was not upto a 3 star ratting at all.
It is close to amenities like transport and restaurants Bed linens and towels are not clean. See small insects and cockroach in room
This is a very tired Hotel, showing its age and is need of a full make over The very slow service at the Front Desk even with an online bookong
I liked the location, even though it was of of the main city of Nadi there were a number of restaurants around and there was a supermarket and atms and a place for internet. the bugs in the room.
Aquarius is in a good location. It's close to the airport and a short taxi ride to the Marina. They do an awesome job of letting you know what the taxifares should be. It is a short walk to the other hostels in the area and is also close to a grocery store and a few restaurants. Staying on a beach we didn't expect the place to be spic and span. We had multiple cockroaches crawling on our bed and at one point into the pillowcase. The double room also has one bed and a set of bunk beds which wasn't clear when booking.
location, food, staff - superb orange juice was tasteless (with water?) on the breakfast, two-storied bed (expected one big bed)
The staff is very nice. The facility lacked Any ambience or character. The website says airport shuttle - yet when we arrived we were informed theshuttle only offers pick up service.
Staffs were helpful, always there when I need to ask about any things; cozy restaurant, great location by the beach front, great information from tourist desk. Breakfast is not satisfiying, juice was not concentrated, price of food from restaurant is quite expensive, not many vegetarian selection, room was smelled awkful because of the bedcover.
it was close to the airport, everyone was helpful and frendly. the food was great. that you could have a beer at the bar or lunch at the dinning room and keep a eye on the kids in the pool.
It is what it is. I was in Nadi on a 15-hour layover between Melbourne & LA, so I just wanted access to a beach, so under $20US for a bed & locker in a dorm room was totally worth it for beachfront access. The rod & showers were dirty, and the Pirate Dorm smelled so awful (like a monster mix of body odor, feet, and fish), that I couldn't nap in there as planned. And I'd advise wearing flip flops in the showers to avoid mold or fungus. BUT the beach is awesome, the staff is friendly, the restaurant is surprisingly excellent, I got a fantastic massage at the spa, and they have all sorts of activities available. No idea what the more expensive rooms are like, I'm sure much better than the dorms. But it was definitely worth the $20 to be right on their beautiful beach for the day.
Despite the party atmosphere the room we stayed in was quiet. The staff was also friendly and helpful. The free island dance performance is worth watching. The beds were very uncomfortable, there were bugs in the bathroom, the surrounding beach area wasnt very nice at all. Not romantic, good for one night stay for traveling.
The staff were so friendly, helpful and courteous! the location was paradise!! Being collected from the airport was a lovely extra! we loved our stay at Smugglers cove!!
Altho the staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were less than ideal. Construction noise (Mon thru Sun; 7 am to 6 pm), small....ask for a larger room or a bungalow....poor food in the only 'restaurant', teeny-tiny shower stalls, no soap, conditioner, wash cloths.....and don't ask for another towel...
I Could catch wi-fi from the room balcony, even though staff said you could only have connection in the lobby. Free wi-fi... No elevator. Hotel needs an updated look. Restaurant service slow. They charge you even if you walk out of the restaurant, and didn't stay to eat the food. Restaurant staff not friendly. Lobby staff isn't that great either. Not worth the $ spent for the room. They should lower their rate.
