Very helpful staff. Very nice view from the balcony. Quiet hotel. The breakfast was not much to brag about. The beach is small and there are a lot of rocks in the water. However, it is close to everything else, so we went to Nissi beach in Agia Napa for the day, and that was brilliant. I would recommend it - especially if you have a car.
Good basic hotel giving the service we expected in a nice quet location walking distance to main restraunt area Would have liked more food choise on the buffet
exelent location,great view,cofortable rooms
The pool and access to the beach was great. Lovely beach. The food was not great. The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. You had to pay 2€ each day to use the minibar and to use the safe you had to pay 3€ per. day + deposit on 10€! No ATM machines nearby. 15-20 minutes walk in to Protaras City center.
Rooms pretty old, need renovation. Poor facilities. In general doesn't look like a 4* hotel.
Next to a nice beach. Loud music from hotel entertainment programmes until mid night
It was a family hotel therefore many children were making noise..there was no shampoo or soap in bathrooms. This never happened to me in other three star hotel.
The cleanliness of the hotel They need to upgrade their rooms
view, front desk terrible service ,lounge do not know how to make drinks
The location. It is by the beach, close to restaurants, bars and shops. It is a bid noisy though if you choose a mountain view room. They don't allow the use of the swiming pool after 7p.m which we found a bid upseting because was still very hot to do anything else.
The location was perfect. You could sit by the pool, and swim in the clear blue sea, which was amazing. The hotel was clean and fresh looking. Very modern and appeals on this basis. The breakfasts were good. The Guru bar was nice, very romantic. Not cheap either for the accomodation or any extras (drinks etc). The hotel staff weren't particularly friendly or attentive. The rooms (we had a standard sea view room) aren't spacious by any means (especially the bathrooms). Not a big deal but people should be aware of it,
One of the best locations in Protaras. The photos show the new renovated lobby and suits, while the usual rooms are not renovated.
The Location The allocation of sunbeds , should put a large reserved sign on them
Calm relaxing pleasant good standards and nice breakfast, beach very close buy, very clean and very very comfortable beds
Excellent hotel, staff, and location. Reception is veeery good
al a carte menu excellent and attention to us cannot be faulted. have recommended your hotel already.
How relaxing and comfortable the hotel is. Also like all the improvements since we were married there last year, such as the improved superior rooms, the poolside furniture and set up. It would be nice if it were cheaper to stop there per nite and if the bar costs were cheaper.
The environment is great, the hotel is clean and well organised. Great breakfast with a wide variety, friendly staff. Airconditioning is inadequate especially when very hot outside and matresses need to be changed.
Staff were very friendly and spoke good english. Rooms were well arranged and clean. Good choice of food from the breakfast buffet.
It was very close to the beach A deposit is needed for the TV remote control
THe area is very green, nice park around, homely atmosphere
nice pool, nice garden, nice rooms. There is no coffee, tee in the room! The towels is not so clean and smells bad. Very small balcony. Breakfast was poor.
I loved it!
cuisine, cost effectiveness, clear beach, good services Though according to conditions of booking prepayment should not be taken, I was charged at the moment of booking a hotel; the hotel is very old, many things in the room are broken and it is impossible to improve them ( f.ex. bathroom equiment)
Excellent location on the seaside, clean and spacious rooms and hotel territory, good sandy beach and large swimming pool. Hotel's equipment (e.g. key-opened safe locker, hairdryer) and furniture are in not excellent condition, food in the restaurants is good, but not delicious.
perfect beach; not far from city center (max 15 min); shopping/ touristic area starts just outside the hotel; good restaurants
the beach and the sea. cleaning the room more efficient (there were ants and bugs in the bathroom) and changing the air-conditioning system -in my room (110) I felt daily smell from the kitchen
Hotel has really excellent seaside location with true sandy beach. The strong point is for sure very good, helpfull staff. The quality of restaurants is not 5 stars
Poor service for 5 star.
The Grecian Bay has all the facilities you could need for a nice holiday, in a very good location. The food is one of the restaurants was of a very low standard and there was drilling outside our bedroom early in the morning which was really loud and annoying!
The smile of the cleaners Yes. 1. Required reservation for swimming pool. 2. Charged 10.7 euro per day for the breakfast of a 2 year old boy. 3. Whereas on your page it os stated check out time 12:00 - 15:00 they demanded check out at 12:00 sharp claiming that it is subject to availability. Subject to availability is not stated on your web page. 3. Poor selection for breakfast. Poorer than 4 and even 3 star hotels we have stayed in spain, poland, brussels etc
It has a very chilled out, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I liked the fact you don't have to dress up while in the hotel...you can go from your room to the pool or beach and back in your swimmers!! It's a nice easy walk to the night life and restaurants of Ayia Napa. The beach is great. Although its beautifully clean and the rooms are bright, breezy and well appointed, it's quite an and old hotel and shows it's age in some areas. It's not 5 star compared to international stantard but charges as such.
Good location, great view, clean rooms Needs renovation, tiles and furniture look dated
Excellent food and servises specially by staff named panicos.
Absolutely fine - if you're tattooed, boozy and with kids. Frankly, it was the guests who use the hotel rather than the hotel itself that we didn't like.
The service was awesome, all stuff were very helpful and kind. even though the hotel was fully booked, it did not feel crowded at all. no
nice hotel, excellent beach
the stuff was excellent, very helpful and friendly. Also the breakfast was very nice. They are 2 sections (buildings) on this hotel. We stayed in the old building.
Close to the beach, with a pool, cleanliness, friendly staff. Excellent stay.
Needs warmer water in pool and jacuzzi and softer beds but cannot fault the friendliness and efficiency of all the staff. Some of the entertainment a bit Butlins-like but all the same good fun and many different types/ages to cater for. Cold pool and jacuzzi and hard beds
the location of the hotel is excellent
location air condition did not work properly, room outdated needed revamp
The entertainment team were excellent and made the holiday a fantastic one. Thank you to Hannah , Tina and Stefan you were all so professional and your shows were amazing Could be very noisy st night due to it's location
we had a great time.
The location That the cleaning staff was coming every day in our room while we were asleep and at the end she never cleaned the room during our stay(6 days)
Good location. Worn bathroom towels.
Nice clean hotel right in the main street of Protaras. Very central, still quiet. Brittish entertainers on the hotel, and mainly brittish guests. Some of the staff could work a little on smiling a little more. We were missing a lamp on the balcony, our balcony was on the backside of the hotel and was pitch black after sunset, ie useless after dark. Asked at reception for some lamp, but they couldn't help.
The location of these apartments were fantastic and the the staff were so friendly! Our block of apartments were not in the main block by the pool.
Fairly clean rooms with made service three times per week. Good location right on the strip.I would stay here again.
Stunning location on the beach, excellent facilities, and friendly staff.
The receptionist (whose name I have forgotten unfortunately) was a most helpful woman who arranged for our transport to Larnaca after our shuttle to Larnaca failed to come.
The location was good as well as the pool and terrace area were great. The staff were also helpful when asked. The hotel does not reflect the 5* category. The quality of the funiture in guest rooms, furnishings and the general decor of the hotel is old and outdated. One would expect more quality design in a 5* hotel. Though the General Manager who is a professional person explained that the hotel's refurbishment is based on customer wants and demands.
The staff were really friendly and helpful from befor I arrived and even after I had checked out
The personnel was very pleasant, kind, always with a smile on their face, ready to help you. We leave it on everyone’s judgment to decide if this is a 5 star hotel! Mislead by the average total grade of the hotel. Compared to the Four Seasons Hotel in Lemesos, & other 5 star hotels this should maximum have 3 stars. Strongly not recommended for a stay due to the following: 1) Waiting every morning for apprx. 20 minutes to find seat for breakfast 2) The swimming pool(only some meters long) is suitable for a small apartment complex 3) Broken lift 4) Expensive, E.G. a bottle of water 500ml costs €4,5 while at the same time a supermarket near sells 12 500ml bottles for €3,5 only! 5) Hotel internal areas are small 6) Difficult to find dinner seat as well as sun bed during the day 7) Carrying your bags from underg. parking only by stairs
I liked the fact that the hotel was so close to the wonderful beach. The hotel staff was excellent. The breakfast was wonderful, many things to choose from. Clean and tidy. The room was big enough. There was a water leak in the bathroom. We had asked for maintenance which was sent immediately. We had left the room while they were fixing it. When we got back the bathroom was dirty, obviously because of the maintenance and the problem was not fixed! We kept quiet about it because we didn't want to ruin our vacation. The pool was tiny for 5 star hotel but we didn't mind, we had the beach!
The hotel staff was amazingly kind and polite all the time! Also the hotel manager upgraded our room free of charge.
Location was very good and we were attending a wedding at the hotel. The staff at reception were extremely helpful and professional. The porter was very helpful and very willing to assist us. Cleaning staff were quiet rude at time of check out.
free WiFi in lobby, breakfast not to charge for WiFi in rooms, indoor swimming pool
Apart from the area there is nothing nice about this resort. It is overcharged and the resort is even for sale. There was concrete beds in the living area and the wardrobe was just a curtain with no door or wardrobe. Maintenance was reported for blocked sink and never was fixed. Towels were nto changed on thursdays and sunday
Behøver en vesentlig make over på værelsene.
it was very near the beach and the center of Protaras The rooms were very dirty, the ceeling was ready to fall on our heads and it needs renovation immediately also the breakfast was very poor.
i booked 3 days staying but i left from the 1st day!!! everything
Κλείσαμε να μείνουμε στο Πασχάλια απο 24/08 μέχρι 25/08 περάσαμε πολύ ωραία και σίγουρα θα ξαναπάμε. Thank you Catalin and Julia from the bar.
Nothing, everything was very disapointing. Very poor for a 4 star hotel, no service, sheets dirty, no follow up from staff. Took 1 day to change the dirty sheets. Resturant was not clean, breakfast poor selection and food was of a very poor standard. Showers were faulty in all rooms (we asked other people staying in hotel), water turned from cold to hot without being adjusted. Aircondition very noisy and after opertating for a few hours no longer cold. Room was dirty, veranda had not been cleaning for months in seemed.
the view from the balcony. Too much money for such a disappointing hotel. Also, I payed with visa card and when I dialed my pin-code on the machine, it was actually visible on the screen, to the receptionist and everyone! So I had to find a bank and change my pin code after that! In addition to that, the fact that nobody of the hotel stuff did not speak Greek, or even English fluently, was very negative to me. I don't really like it when I have to solve an issue with somebody who speaks russenglish and the hotel manager is absent all day long!
No need to go anywhere. Food is great, the beach and swimming pools are on your doorstep and there is an on-site supermarket. No parking problems at all. No cash needed anywhere. Only negative was a hard mattress that made sleeping less comfortable
Good facilities, spacious pool complex and situated on beach. Staff very helpful. Easy walk to bars and restaurants but allow around 25-30 mins for central area. This is a large hotel catering for package tours though the scale of the place copes with the numbers. The in-house entertainment can be off-putting. Breakfast is a crowded event. Difficult to attract attention for coffee. General breakfast experience was poor.
breakfast was good. pools environment was good.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx pools were not so clean. Entertainment very minor at the hotel day and night. restaurants not so active...At check in, they had us prepay the full amount of the stay. We had to leave 1 day earlier for emergency and they refused to refund...televisions are still old fashioned although this is supposed to be a 5 stars...
That they were a lot of scheduled events, especially for kids I had to make a huge distance to go from the one side of the rooms to the other
Cleanliness, and friendly Staff no kettle in the room
The sports facilities, level of comfort and interior decor, other guests that I met The quality of the in-room computer wifi system could have been better.
Family suites are nice and big, just what needed with 2 children. Loved the pools and all outdoor environment. Breakfast was rich. Most important the kids loved it as it had good facilities for them.
We loved how the hotel was right on the beach. We simply alternated between swimming in one of the hotels pools or alternatively at Nissi beach in the beautiful Mediterranean sea. Did not expect to have to pay extra for the use of the safe. TV channels were slightly limited. No Tea or coffee making facilities in the room.
The pool area is amazing for relaxing, sunbathing and swimming. WiFi was so expensive and was not available in the rooms.
Located on the beach. Provides beach/pool towels No tea/coffee making facilities. Stupid and inconvenient beach towels changing system. To sum up - average beach hotel, not 5*, just 4* max.
Basic but clean and in an excellent location
Located in central place. Very basic, need redecoration, should be careful of the swimming pool.
Room was large and pleasant with aircon in the bedroom and a nice balcony. Very central with the beach, bars and restaurants all just 5 mins away and a taxi rank and bus stop at the door if you want to explore further The central locatiopn, while perfect for us, may be a bit loud for older guests of those who want a quieter holiday due to the proximity of the local pubs and bars
5 min to beach. Clean. Good equipped. Friendly staff. Location (as for all hotels there): no good food shops around (drive to Paralimni for Carrefoure supermarket) and noisy environment. Service: loundry was always closed with no info.
We liked the location of the hotel which was perfect. Walking distance to the beach (5 min.) and all other facilities (restaurants, bars, supermarket etc.). No need for a car or other transportation. It needs a renovation. The rooms are "ok" but they are old. Definitely need to change the windows and install double glazing. Also, in the one bedroom apartments, definitely need to install an Air condition in the kitchen-living room area, not only in the bedroom, because basically, the couch terns into bed and you have the children sleep there. It's too hot and moist not to have an a/c in both rooms.
