The room was big with a great mountain view. Good location: the area is fantastic with many things to do. The hotel offers free bike-hire. The spa area is nice, the pool is nice but a bit cold, the gardens of the hotel are lovely, free-parking, food is good but not very varied. There was no fridge/mini-bar in the room, no Air-Conditioning, no tea/coffee facilities in the room, the shower (inside the bath) leaked onto the bathroom floor, and also it was cold one day, they tell you there is internet in every rooom but don't mention that most websites don't work and the computer is so old it crashes every 5 mins. The bed was uncomfortable. The buffets (breakfast and afternoon snack) were uncovered so there were lots of flies on the food. The staff are quite grumpy (except for one waiter who is really kind and friendly).
The rooms were fine. I liked the nespresso machine that was in the room. But it was quite cheap that at a 4 star hotel they made you pay for it, even though it was in the room, and usually those kind of teas and coffees are complimentary. The service was quite bad, It seemed there were 3 people working at the hotel, and they worked as everyone! The food was absolutly horrible! There was no portier. The reception was already empty at 5 pm... and you could bearly reach them by phone.
The high quality of the food; the friendliness and professionalism of the welcome which included being offered a drink while I registered; the wellness centre and the relaxed nature in which to enjoy it; the quality of the room and the services provided, including free internet access Staff at the bar could have been more attentive, as there were several evenings I opted not to have a drink because staff did not ask.
the high standard ,
lovely hotel in a fantastic place would stay here again.
Good service, excellent kitchen
the staff is genuinely pleasant. The hotel is cosy, extremely clean, decorated in folk style with good taste. The pool has a beautiful modern design. The cuisine is very good.
