its a lovely place just think its over priced
Love our time there. The suites are very nice.
I bought the one night stay from Kayak and I had the impression that the room would be in the main building. After checking in, the front desk staff told me that my room was in the different building called Oceano Inn, which is right in front of the main hotel. I like how cozy and romantic the decor was. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. In my room, there was real fireplace too. My room was looking out directly to the ocean with view of sailboats. Parking is free, which is good. My room wasn't in the main building and had to take the stairs to the 2nd floor since there's only 5 rooms on the first floor. The light from nearby restaurant was beaming through the window and there's beeping noise from outside (perhaps it's to warn the boats of the fog) that lasted all night and though the morning.
I stayed at the Mill Rose Inn some years ago with a friend. We were so amazed at the beauty in every corner of this gorgeous Inn. We almost wanted to stay in the room the entire stay. Would like to return again with my family. No one does ambiance like the Mill Rose Inn, they are professional romantics.
Romantic room, beautiful gardens, walking distance to the beach. Awkward phone entry upon arrival to the Inn.
Location The whole place smelled dusty due to the construction-- I booked a 300 dollar room and they said that there was no running water--- moved me into another room with no view but not any cheaper
Room layout, beds, a lot of outlets, very clean HUGE construction project in the middle atrium, hence noise and no restaurant. Bathroom amenities very, very limited - need to ask for basic things like Q-tips and other (yes, they are available - a nice list in the room) but having only soap and shampoo in the room is not sufficient
The hotel was very clean and the staff was very pleasant and polite. We were staying for one night before having to be at the UCSF children's hospital the next day and we all slept like babies. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linen was very soft overall we had a great stay.
we didnt like much. they didnt include on the web that the hotel is going through massive renovations. pool was closed which we wanted to use so badly during our short vacation. The gym was also out of service. it was very disappointing of an experience.
Location Valet and bell hops were friendly and helpful. First check attempt was not successful due to a power outage that only affected the computers. Employee was also rude and really should find a job that does not involve working with people. Attempted to order food to go in the restaurant, after waiting for 25mns while the waiter was watching a football game we gave up and left. Rooms were dated and dingy. Would not recommend as a platinum passport member.
Rooms had beautiful view overlooking the hotel Lobby. Size of the rooms are nice. Waited for shuttle over 45 min.. a shuttle from a different Hotel was nice enough to drive us .at 2 am needed maintenance ac was not working .. bathroom was not clean toilet seats for dirty from the last person there.
Exceptional customer service. Unclean.
Food at 360 was great. Beds were comfy. No microwaves in room. No liquid coffee creamer, just powder.
Under construction, noisey
Location. Under much needed renovation. Would have been nice to know at time of booking. Air filter so plugged air wouldn't flow. Toilet wouldn't stop running. Blood on comforter. No coffee maker in room. Not at all what you'd expect from a Hyatt. Staff was great when we told them about issues.
The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The shower was not clean and was hard to turn on. Water pressure was very low. Not desirable.
Beautiful hotel with strong drinks! No nightlife near by.
They charged extra fees.
We needed a place to stay near SFO that provided free airport shuttle. I found this hotel on Kayak, and while it was more than I had planned to spend for one night, it was worth it! The bed was so very comfortable - I didn't want to get out of it in the morning! The room was exquisitely appointed and the staff was very accommodating despite there being a very boisterous party off the lobby - which spilled into the lobby at times. The front desk staff handled a group of small children who were taking items from the Market Place behind the desk extremely well! Thank you so much! More than I wanted to spend for a hotel room.
Good location. Rooms are clean and well kept. My friends left 4-5 messages for me but when I checked, I was told there were no messages left for me. So I didn't get to meet up with my friends. Pretty bad.
Nice view beds very comfortable.
Location, close to SFO. Self parking fee. Looks a standard in the Bay Area.
The hotel is very good, it has clean facilities and friendly staff. I recommend the hotel for anyone that needs to stay around the SF airport area. I did not like the nightly parking fee. It should be included in the room price.
Quick check in and out, courteous staff, and the price was right. However, hotel shuttle took almost 30 minutes to make the full trip between the Hilton and the international terminal. The bedding had some small stains and bathroom was not entirely clean.
Not much. No microwave. No fridge. No good complimentary coffee or snacks. Pool and hot tub weren't working when they told me they would be. And room smelled like smoke. No microwave. No fridge. No good complimentary coffee or snacks. Pool and hot tub weren't working when they told me they would be. And room smelled like smoke. Had to pay for parking and wifi! No complimentary breakfast.
Great price and nice accomodations for a decent price. Enjoyed the executive floor and it's amenities which were superb for what we paid. We will stay again if we're ever in need of an SFO airport hotel
I loved the location to the airport, amazing views, modern vibe and look. Friendly staff! Big tvs!! Dinner was expensive in the hotel. For what it was I should have eaten at McDonald's. $100 mistake.
The hotel feels like it has all of the upgraded tech and decor a geeky guy like myself want out of a hotel. It was clean, close to the airport, and didn't have any noise coming from any highways or streets. We arrived late in the evening after a long flight to find our room wasn't ready. (at 12:30am) The front office manager said the floors had been cleaned that day, so it might feel a bit damn in the halls. Feeling tried we said Okay, and got our room key and went right to our room. The first thing we see is carpet fans scattered all over the room with every moveable piece of furniture stacked on our beds. It took another 45min to get our room switched for one that didn't have any fans, and we were questioned like we made the entire thing up. Only issue we had was the miscommunication from the office manager regarding the overnight parking. I was told it would only be $14 and I would have to use the parking machine in the garage. Well, the machine charges $20 for overnight, and I had actually already been charged $14 for parking on my room bill. So i paid for parking twice...We had to leave for the airport or I would have fought it.
We stayed at the executive level and the amenities included with that were nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby is pretty run down and dated. The carpet in the lobby is very worn and dirty. The room itself was extremely clean and modern.
This is a very nice hotel with lots of amenities. In general the front desk staff was cold and impersonal.
Hector was very helpful and friendly... he went out of his way giving us information. He couldn't do enought for us.!!! Thank you
I like sofitel brand and the amenities The rooms are in dire need of remidel. Bathroom had molding joints and wallpaper coming off the wall.
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly That we couldn't stay longer
One of the nicest hotels I have stayed at in the area. Very clean and great customer service.
Beautiful lobby, bar, pool Please serve coffee all day instead of making us buy it at the coffee shop. Keep the pool a bit warmer.
comfortable and clean rooms. I was next to a service elevator and needed to change my room after I was all settled in for the night. I also asked for some toiletries and never received it
Nothing This hotel cancelled my reservation without explanation during the last week prior to my stay which caused the booking.com to commit fraud against me by making another reservation at a different hotel without my permission and instructed to not do that but did it anyway causing loss of funds which the other hotel refused to refund due to their booking policy which was completely contrary to to printed policy I had received from booking.com from the first and only reservation made by me. It's a scheme to make money from you regardless of what you do with a reservation. Do your homework on these online booking sites folks. It pays to stay away!
The hotel amenities are more like a luxury hotel than other hotels you stay at when traveling for business. The bed comfortable was really comfortable! The hotel only has one restaurant, which is a bit overpriced for the food you get, but the staff was really nice. You will need to drive or take a taxi/uber to find other restaurants nearby. The hotel is surrounded by business parks.
Needed a place to stay for family and friends to attend my daughters graduation from college. The location was convenient, clean, comfortable. I wish I had found it sooner when I would come to visit her. If I were to stay in the area again, this would be my first choice to seek out a bargain. This hotel can be pricey, I was fortunate to find an Internet deal that had costs comparable to surrounding lodging. In addition, the parking at $25 per night was a bit steep as well. Cost will be the largest consideration for me on a return visit.
The Pullman is the former Sofitel hotel and other than change the signage they did little else. The hotel is ready for some paint and upgrading. The location is excellent . the staff is friendly and accommodating..
The view from our sixth floor room was beautiful. There were birders in our room and birds could be seen in the trees close by as well as the beautiful lake. We loved seeing the sunrise and the mountains. Just walking around the grounds was a pleasant experience. Thank you for a lovely stay from Southerners who spent Christmas in your lovely surroundings.
Quiet; View of golf course; Fireplace & pool area; Breakfast TV reception was variable - some channels poor.
The front desk and housekeeping staff were fantastic. Inability to control the room temperature other than using the ceiling fan. Also, the noise from the child in the adjacent room woke us in the early morning.
I walked up to my room and opened the door to find the tv on and clothes and wine on the table. They have me the key to someone else's room!!! I was so horrified and startled. This is such a huge security problem. The man at the front desk didn't even seem fazed. As a solo female travel I felt so uncomfortable in my room all night, wondering if they would give someone a key to my room. Absolutely inexcusable. The guests security and safety should be a #1 priority at all times, which they totally do not adhere to.
Waterproof mattresses and broken fixtures? Can't believe Marriott puts their name behind this place.
The staff was amazing. Some of the best customer service I have seen in a long time. They had fruit and candy out and everyone smiled and was helpful. It was wonderful.
It was very nice, location felt safe. Staff was friendly. Pillows and blanket were goose down, very comfy. $25 parking. You run into expensive parking so much in downtown San Francisco that it would have been nice to have lower or none there. The lounge staff, while friendly, seemed to need more staffing. It took a while to be greeted or get our bill. There was no fan in the bathroom so while showering it got very hot fast. They had to add on a hold for an extra $100 on my debit card, just because it was a debit. It's refundable but it has yet to be removed from my bank statement.
The linens were the most comfortable of any hotel I have ever visited, and I have stayed at some of the world's most luxurious hotels. The TV has a huge screen and a supremely clear picture. 4K?? The location is very close to the rental car return agencies. Very clean. The only drawback was the check in. I asked for a quiet room with a bathtub. The first room I was assigned had soaking wet carpet from a recent shampoo. Instead of bringing me a key to another room I had to go down to the lobby again and wait for what seemed like an eternity for them to assign me a different room. The person at the front desk (Yolanda?) laughed when I explained the reason i had to change rooms. Then they had a lot of difficulty figuring out which rooms on the quiet side of the hotel had bath tubs. Once I got to the room however I was extremely comfortable and the room was super quiet. A/C could use a slight boost.
The hotel is easy to access and the quality of the rooms is very high. Not far from the city and really close to the airport Great view of the plane landing and taking off without the sound. very friendly staff A bit on the high side for the price depending on the day you stay.
Love the convenience and ease for travelers. The pool- though small for serious workout, hot tub, and work out room is great.
They could not accommodate my room and needs since booking.com made multiple mistakes in my order. For my inconvinance nothing special was offered or any type of discounts.
Great Bed experience. I did not.mind being far from San Francisco since we had rented a car. There was a used towel in our room when we checked.
Room furnishings were very nice and modern. Bed very comfortable. Loved the glass shower doors and bathroom amenities. Staff very friendly. Free airport shuttle very convenient. Overall great experience. Tried express check-out via telephone and TV menu but neither worked. Had to checkout at front desk but luckily there was no wait. Would prefer express checkout.
Great location. Love the breakfast in the AM. Polite and helpful staff. Nice amenities and atmosphere. On the expensive side.
It's charming The bath tub had a scum ring in it, we soldiered thru the first shower but felt icky the rest of the stay. the water was not hot enough and the fact that they didn't have Fox News Channel on TV made a political statement that I didn't pay to receive.
The hotel is well located on a beach and has large suite rooms with a fire. The continental breakfast is disappointing and staged in the reception area as there is no breakfast room. Plenty of good retsaurants close. Well situated just south of San Francisco, ideal for touring around. Can reccomend but found it very pricey, especially at the weekend. Breakfast arrangements.
Awesome oceanfront view from the Mavericks Suite. Delicious breakfast brought to our room. Nice wine and cheese in the late afternoon and yummy cookies when we returned from dinner. Wonderful staff. Comfy bed. Fireplace, spa tub...simply spectacular. Everything was great...can't think of a thing I'd change.
The Half Moon Bay Bike/hiking trail is right outside the door. Great for a walk or bike ride. The inn was cozy and all the staff and patrons we met were very friendly. The room rates seemed somewhat expensive to me.
Gorgeous beach a step away from our room. Great, friendly service. Quiet. Waves too loud at night!!!!!! Haha lol Slept like a baby...
Spacious room, comfortable bed, 5 pillows (soft and firm), coffee maker, fridge and microwave, clean, the breakfast was good, the staff very nice and professional. I would definitively go again... The only minus for me is that it is too close to the main road, but it wasn't really inconvenient as I couldn't hear the traffic from the room.
Extremely helpful and friendly staff; super comfortable bed. Great value for the money,
Good location in a quiet setting. A nice place to stay for a few days
Affordable with daily breakfast. Quiet. The breakfast is just ok and what you might expect.
Closeness to downtown and amenities No continental breakfast included, you have to pay extra
Staff was so thoughtful and really made such an effort to treat me better than I ever expected!!!
I like that we got a voucher for an American Buffet, so we didn't have to pay. We had our choice of waffles, scrambled eggs, an omlet made however we wanted, fruits and many other things. It was delicious and the servers were very nice and attentive. The bed was not very comfortable that would be my only complaint.
Location, friendliness of the reception and the early shuttle to the airport was very accommodating. The shuttle took a long time to show up at the airport to pick us up. Something to work on it, apart from that i don't have much to comment on since i spend one night.
Nice rooms and gym area they shouldn't charge for parking, it's expensive and my card never worke when I was trying to leave the parking lot
Close to the airport. quite. On site restaurant. Place is very short staffed. Only 2 persons at the desk at night with constant stream of the travelert checking in and checking out, plus non stop calls from rooms or about reservations... i waited in line for over 30 min just to check out!... No toothbrash/toothpaste in the room, which is a shame for an airport hotel and considering the price they charge for a night.
Friendly staff, cleanliness, breakfasts Rooms OK but a bit small. Parking "card readers" are old and don't work well.
The AC required service, which we didn't know, until 0100. It was our last night, prior to returning home. The front desk didn't respond except to say they would have maintenance look at it the following day. Additionally, they offered no GOVERNMENT or military travel rates.
Parking not included, outdated need manteinance
Staff was wonderful. Front desk was helpful and friendly. We were placed near the elevator and could hear it run up and down all night. The wall near bed had a gash in it. The toilet would not flush properly and would run for an extensive time.
The furniture fixtures and equipment is due for replacement.
great location, clean room, nice bathroom Most uncomfortable beds ever
The rooms are huge and spacious! The staff was all friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast, and evening wine and cheese are simplistic but nice touch. The location is great right on Main Street about a 20 min walk to beach. The rooms could use a bit more cleaning. They weren't dirty but the stains on carpet, bugs and cobwebs around the outside doors and windows make it slightly less appealing.
Carpets need replacing.
One of the best deals I have ever had.
i liked the fact that this hotel provides free parking wich is unusual in SFO, free wifi very clean and comfortable. great hotelbar.
staff was amazing! warm cookies upon arrival! rooms were clean! room service was prompt! will be back for another stay!
friendly staff clean rooms
Check in went amazing and fast friendly service.
Doubletree cookie. Sea view, but through a porthole size window. Shabby place. At 200USD I would expect more.
Great value and location but room was dirty, old soap bar was left on sink and shower curtain smelled bad
Rooms were clean, bathrooms were clean, the cookies were good. Staff was attentive and friendly. Tv channels would come in and out. The bed sheet didnt fit over the bed correctly so it would come apart all the time. Expected atleast the basics like the bedsheets to be on correctly. For the price it was just an ok stay. Be warned there is a parking charge to park overnight. I believe that was not stated in the descriptions.
Convenient for airport with regular free shuttle. Comfortable room and good complimentary buffet breakfast included in the deal I booked.
The breakfast We were on the 7th floor right outside of the maid's storage area and it was extremely noisy!!! It was like a war outside of our room every time they dropped something. It would seem they would stay quiet until checkout. I was attempting to take a nap and that didn't work. When we told the front desk, nothing...
our room was clean and comfortable the parking was $26.00 a day and the access to the hotel was inconvenient
This is a great place for a family. The breakfast was great. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. It is close to S.F. and Pacifica.
Beautiful gardens pet friendly ! Breakfast and drinks great . Great view . Lovely shampoos . Excellent staff . Had such an awesome time . Have recommended it to my grown children too. Thank you for everything :) Leaving :)
Breakfast is why i stay hereorice
Breakfast in the morning was devine. Best omelet I've had in months. Hard to find a good deal for embassy suites. I would love to stay more often.
Breakfast included with a niceroom Cleaning service did not remove trash oneday
Nothing The staff was rude, My credit card was overcharged 3 times.
The breakfast was wonderful, the rooms were large and comfortable. We were not able to control the temperature in the room, felt warm and damp.
Great place to stay. Close to the SFO airport
Nothing at all. Everything, the staff was terrible.
The cost and the location. The couple having the on and off argument in the next room.
The location is great. The mattress was old or at best, cheap. Just upgrading that would have made a big difference in our experience.
Better then I expected. Relaxing & comfortable. Noisy highway but that's no big deal. Breakfast in the morn. Nice view from room. Nice restaurants across the street. Nice area to walk. Overall a relaxing getaway Rough toilet paper
Simple room. Nothing crazy. Good enough for my wife and i
Needed a place to crash for a day. The price was great, you can see the harbor from the room upstairs we had. The internet pictures made it look like we were on the beach side of the highway.
convenient where we were. It was ok
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was good, and the rooms comfortable Traffic noise would be a problem in the summer. Hotel is older. No AC
Convenient location The beds were really old and uncomfortable and the boxspring had nasty stains and bits of lining hanging down. I plan to report this to the Half Moon Bay Chamber of Commerce and think your company should not recommend it . I would never stay here again.
It was close to the beach which made beach going with my kids very convenient. It was hard to get a good nights sleep! Being close to the harbor was beautiful but at night when you're trying to sleep it was noisy, also, the highway traffic kept me awake, and the walls are very thin so if you have guests in the room next to you then you're sure to be hearing them!
There is a fog horn you can hear all night long. If you want to sleep stay away from the bay. This as nothing to do with the HVI itself because they don't operate the horn. However they should disclose this fact to guest. The 24 hour fog horn is like hearing nails on a chalkboard!
The hotel was hard to find gps didn't know the location
It had clean bathrooms, no sign of mold or bad old paint. It has a great location, It is across the street from the harbor and in and out access was great. Nice view from my upstairs room of the ocean in the distance and the bay upclose. The tv was to old and too low. Need to mount the new flatscreens where it is easier to lay in bed and watch tv.
