Ulemper: "Seating is way to tight. Service from crew is nothing at all like it used to with Swiss. Nearly a smile from crew ( both legs of flight) mostly just hand motion when serving food. Food was a big disappointment too. It feels like all the good service is reserved only for business and first class !"

Ulemper: "Overseas flight seats were tight going and coming, and being that long a flight you feel you are sitting on top of your neighbors. Air quality descends on a long full flight, it became claustrophobic by the end. There was only an option for vegetarian-vegan, but I am not vegan. I won't do that again. My daughter's bag didn't make to SFO, even though we were early to check in."

Fordele: "On board is pretty good except that the seats are pretty narrow compare to our previous experiences. As a reference, I am 5‘3“ and 110 lbs."
Ulemper: "Our flight was delayed and the seats were narrrow."

Fordele: "Swissair seating is cramped with 10 across in coach in Boeing 777. The only reason for not giving "poor" rating on this particular ZRH-SFO flight, was the empty seat next to me."
Ulemper: "Next time, I will give Turkish Airlines a chance, because their aircraft seats only 9 across in Boeing 777 coach. On the SFO-BUD flight, the connection is through Istanbul, but the flight time is the same 15 hours, as on the SFO-ZRH-BUD route. In addition, two checked bags are free in coach."

Fordele: "Food and drink service were excellent and big choice of entertainment"

Fordele: "There wasn't much that stood out as likable. The food was pretty good."
Ulemper: "The plane was too hot. I asked multiple times throughout the flight for the temperature to be reduced, and it was not. I was wearing light jeans and a short sleeve shirt, and I was sweating all flight. Each time I asked throughout the duration of the flight, I was told it take a while for the temperature to decline. It's one thing to be uncomfortably warm on a flight; it's another thing when the flight crew lies to you. Further, I was not the only one to request that the temperature be reduced. This made an 11 hour flight particularly miserable."

Fordele: "Food service is adequate."
Ulemper: "Standard complaint, but economy seats are way to squeezed in!"

Ulemper: "No leg room very uncomfortable"

Fordele: "On time and standard service."

Fordele: "The crew fed us well throughout the flight--and we got free wine with dinner. The food was pretty good for airplane food. We got fresh dinner rolls, salad, dessert, and Swiss cheese. We got ice cream part way through the trip. I loved that we got a piece of Swiss chocolate on each leg of the journey. The crew was friendly. There was a screen at each seat where you could watch movies or TV, listen to music, or track your flight. The entertainment was free, and the crew provided free earphones. Blankets and pillows were provided."
Ulemper: "Like most planes, there was not enough leg room. It makes it pretty uncomfortable for an 11-1/2 hour flight. The boarding was a little confusing, but no serious issues."

Ulemper: "Terrible seats :-("

Fordele: "The staff was helpful and professional and kind. The equipment was new and clean. The flight was on-time and uneventful. I would fly this airline again any day of the week."
Ulemper: "The entertainment screen was difficult to see when the person in front of me reclined because the screen was not perpendicular to my line of vision. I survived based on the other qualities of the flight."

Fordele: "The aisle seat I purchased wasn't miserable like so many economy seats are. But I did have to pay for it!"
Ulemper: "I had such a miserable experience getting to Florence on Swiss Air that I sent a letter of complaint WHILE ON VACATION!! Really. It was a nightmare... not the way you want to start a vacation. I had difficulty booking my daughter's seat online for the return, but didn't have access to phone service while abroad. In my complaint letter to Swiss Air I requested they place us together. I never got a response and upon check in, they had my son and me in our purchased seats and my daughter at the back of the plane. I asked them if they could do anything about it (I was even willing to give up my seats to move to the back...) yet no one seemed concerned or interested in helping to make this work. They also had no knowledge of my complaint or appeared concerned about my prior experience. I'm so over Swiss Air. My experience with the employees on the phone prior to my first departure, the lack of response to my email, and a disinterested and inattentive staff on my return, have all convinced me to choose a different airline next time."

Fordele: "I take the flight from ZRH to SFO several times a year. Typically on time, typically good service, food and drinks"
Ulemper: "The entertainment on the Airbus 340 is outdated and the screens are terrible but that is the only problem. ugh better with the new 777. Unfortunately not the case today"

Fordele: "The service is the best!!! I enjoyed everything!!"

Fordele: "There was metalic box underneath the seat in front of me (entertainment box), that did not leave any room to stretch my legs"
Ulemper: "This box blocked any room to stretch my legs. The flight was full and I did not have the chance of changing seats. Flying 13 hours in this situation is unacceptable."

Fordele: "It takes two minutes to get to a live operator when you call. Simply amazing."
Ulemper: "The flight from Nairobi to Zurich starts in Nairobi, flies an hour south to Dar es Salaam, you then sit on the tarmac for an hour, then you fly north for an hour until you get back to the starting point. I would think they would save money if they flew an empty plane down to Dar es Salaam, picked up those passengers and then flew back to Nairobi. No way should an 8.5 hour flight take over 11.5 hours. Plus my screen didn't work for one of the flights, nearly 12 hours without entertainment was BS. No real variety in their meals either. The first leg had a main meal of beef and potatoes as the meat option, same option for the second leg."

Fordele: "Crew was amazing. So patient and accommodating, even when passengers were a bit impatient. Cabin was clean, and it was good to have blankets and pillow on a long flight."
Ulemper: "Boarding was a bit chaotic. Food was okay but not substantial. Comfort was terrible in my seat - for some reason I had a seat with a metal box underneath so I could not stretch my legs. And the fellow next to me, in the middle, was over 6 feet and was VERY uncomfortable, even though he had legroom. There were good options for entertainment, but it was unreliable and had to be restarted once. Also, the screen was terrible quality and I could not see no matter how I adjust the screen angle or the light."

Fordele: "my wife needed a wheelchair, so we were whisked between terminals. but if we had had to negotiate that long distance by ourselves we would probably have missed the connection because there was only an hour layover and the distance between gates was great"

Fordele: "The crew was pleasant."
Ulemper: "The Swissair website did not have my information available. Stood next to Passport Control for an hour (!) for a glitch they couldn't resolve before boarding. Flight was delayed 90 minutes. Worse quality beef on a flight ever, and that's hard to do. In my 1.5 million miles flown, these were the least comfortable, cramped seats I have ever experienced. I am only 5'7", 150lbs, but for the first time ever could not reach my belongings in the under-the-seat space in front of me. Seriously, it was that cramped."

Fordele: "The ambient being so relaxing felt asleep all the way to Zurich."

Fordele: "Service was excellent and very friendly."
Ulemper: "The seats are terrible. Narrow, the armrests edgy and only partially movable. A large metal box under the seat takes away 2/3 of the legroom. The entertainment system is outdated, screen has no contrast and can only be viewed at a straight angle, which is impossible as soon as the seat is reclined."

Fordele: "The crew did a great job of handling our 2-hour delay in starting from Zurich - we were kept updated on what was happening, the aircraft was at a comfortable temperature (not too hot, not too cold), and we were given water during the wait. Also, during the flight, the crew kept coming through with more water, which was VERY NICE! Plus, the moist towels prior to landing. It makes a big difference in comfort levels for such a long flight."
Ulemper: "The on-board entertainment system was old and very clumsy to handle (with the embedded control in the arm rest). Also, it crashed on me two times and had to be re-booted, which was frustrating and took a long time every time it happened."

Ulemper: "1 hour departure delay from Zurich and did a poor job explaining the cause ?? Movie options available for passengers were limited and not very interesting to watch?"

Ulemper: "Economy seating very cramped. Cramped seat conditions, inability of video screen to articulate sufficiently to allow seeing the picture when the seat ahead was reclined."

Fordele: "Boarding was very quick and efficient. Seating arrangements were nice pretty average overall."
Ulemper: "The crew was terrible. Young and in experience was on thing. But worse was they did the bare minimum and then hid out in the back for the rest of the flight. They served a weird cheese sandwich mid flight and would roll their eyes if you asked for water. The food selection and taste was bland or way too salty."

Ulemper: "The lack of food choices. Even if you must buy them tgere should be choices"

Fordele: "Friendly crew. Good food and entertainment. Comfortable seats."

Fordele: "Excellent Amount & Quality of Asian Vegetarian Food"
Ulemper: "Due to a glitch in the webstei, I was unable to check in online, and therefore did not get a window seat for an 11 hour flight - very frutrating and uncomfortable!"

Fordele: "The flight crew were great very friendly & service oriented as far as getting your food & water"
Ulemper: "My partner & I were given separate seats. We tired to reserve our seats online according to instructions & time but the online registration wasn't working properly. We had to wait til we were at the airport to do that. When checking in we were told we had to wait til onboard? Then once on board told no. So we were not able to sit together & weren't even in the same area of the plane. We also had an old plane & seats very uncomfortable. The movie screen was barely visible so basically u could just listen."

Ulemper: "The handle of the pull-stick that slides into the suitcase was broken off with the pull-stick sticking out of the TUMI suitcase. Used a pen point to release it and get it back into the suitcase. No handle so it was impossible to drag the suitcase. The ground personnel representing Swiss Air at the Boston Baggage carousel was a novice, had never filled out a baggage claim form before. Told me they would phone me. I am a bit skeptical about this claim. Not sure if it was Swiss Air of the local ground personnel who damaged the suitcase."

Fordele: "Food was overall not bad. It would have been nice to have more snack options if I was hungry in between meals."
Ulemper: "Landed early but there was no gate so we just sat on the runway. We also sat on the runway long past when we were supposed to arrive. I'm not sure why there still was no gate when we passed the time that we were supposed to arrive. There were also no power outlets in the plane. For such a long flight, it would be great to have power outlets to charge devices while flying. Flight was also kept very cold. Not very good entertainment options."

Fordele: "Excellent service"
Ulemper: "Small jet for transatlantic didn't allow for being able to walk, stretch and move about much during such a long flight, unlike larger airbus planes or larger Boeing planes. Why do airlines hire chefs then serve lousy food!? First meal was so so while wake up meal was really bad. Was so disappointed in Swiss Air so will not fly with them again. Great service doesn't make up for the noted disappointments. Spending a $2-3 more on food would have helped, but placing us in a long flight in such a small airbus plane just won't do!"

Ulemper: "Plane was very old. No leg room. Seats recline way too much until you can't even see the image on the screen anymore when the person in from decides to recline all the way let alone how uncorfotsblr it is to have the back of the front seat almost touching your face and serously limiting ability to move on the seat. Entertainment has super old interface, software."

Ulemper: "seats not too comfortable, if seated right next to the toilet I should pay a lower fare!"

Fordele: "Great movie selection during the flight. Most of the food was decent."
Ulemper: "The boarding process was a pain in the butt. Even though my boyfriend and I did a pre- check-in online the day before. We still had to wait over an hour to check our one piece of luggage and wait to be checked in and get the boarding pass. Even though the site says we have the option to print out the boarding pass or show the code on our phone, we still had to deal with all the hassle. The plane was smelly until we were about to take off. The first meal on our way back from Istanbul was awful. The omelette was greasy, overly cheesy and bland. Same goes for the spinach pastry in the same tray. On the flights to Cairo, there was not enough drinks served. I only had one beverage offered to me. I was bypassed when they were serving the coffee/ tea. Also, the timeliness with serving drink was bad... I waited about 4 hours before getting my first beverage on the flight home."

Fordele: "Attractive business class fares. Among the best business class."
Ulemper: "Don't underestimate the additional hours. The stopover in Istanbul is definitely a negative (crowded, unpractical airport). Next time I will probably stick to European airlines, if the fare difference is reasonable."

Fordele: "Great good entertainment n crew provided warm and courteous service"
Ulemper: "Terrible boarding process n the seats are not the best- not bad just not as good as everything else."

Ulemper: "The stewardess actually I insisted that I do NOT recline my chair during the flight. The chairs are already too small. The person behind me didn’t have any room so I had to place it in the upright position. They ran out of chicken on both flights too"

Fordele: "- Friendly crew - Good overall"
Ulemper: "- Media devices is obsolete with bad barely working touch screens, plus my screen holder was broken - not adjustable. - Old style two-pin audio connectors (making hard to connect your own headphones), it's good that I had an adapter. Though port was malfunctioning anyway and I had to readjust it once in a while or I could not hear anything. - Censored movies, with such censorship it is practically pointless to watch some movies. - Leg room is far from generous (economy class)."

Ulemper: "Horrible service I will never go with this airline The attendants never came to us when we needed them this is my second time The attendants don’t care and don’t even love k at you"

Ulemper: "How one of the crew deal with my little boy when he walked on the plane because he felt boared"

Ulemper: "They didnt load a special meal (child) that I had requested for my two year old. Luckily we had packed extra food. They returned that car seat all wet at SFO. Didn't even have the decency to put a plastic cover on it. Overall I found the crew lacking any warmth and the service was mediocre at best. The food was below average. Overall highly disappointed. I had assumed that Turkish would be like it's other middle Eastern airlines line Emirates or Qutar but they are not. I would take my business elsewhere"

Ulemper: "They cancelled my returning flight WITHOUT me knowing and expecting me to pay for the penalty fee for misisng the first flight even tho I DID not cancel the returning flight which obviously I was gonna take. The staff was RUDE and INSENSITIVE. Qatar was better in overall customer service. Worst customer service from Turkish airline."

Fordele: "Turkish Airlines er normalt, som samlet pakke min favorit, men når indtjekning vælger at sætte 2 voksne mænd på sæder ved nødudgangen der kun er ca. 75% i størrelse af normle (små) sæder, så er 3½ time til Istanbul en lang sammenklemt oplevelse."

Fordele: "My kids, wife and I loved flying to Turkish Airlines. Always on time, tasty and nutritious food, wonderful staff who help you with smile on their faces. Sure, we'll fly Turkish Airlines from now on."
Ulemper: "Nothing at all."

Fordele: "crew was great, food and beverage service was nice and plentiful, bathrooms were super clean, entertainment offering was great, head support bent perfectly to hold my head"
Ulemper: "1. CRAZY short time to transfer from TLV leg to SFO leg, 1.5 hours, and there were 5 different security lines even though we were always in the international travel area. Very stresfull. I'd much prefer an extra hour layover rather than run through airport. Why was I patted down at the gate??? 2. legroom was cramped, I was comfortable only because seat next to me was empty"

Ulemper: "The Bus carried all passengers to the plane . There was No help or assistance available for Handicapped passengers We had to climb the stairs. The person in front of me had Only one leg to stand on and was using crutches to climb the stairs This was like a survival of the fittest test and a horrible Experience. The Airline should provide assistance at the Boarding stairs."

Fordele: "The best airline to Europe! Period! Boing in the new 777 and has very comfortable seats with plenty of room for your feet even in economy class. Huge number of movies and TV shows. The food is excellent. Only missing part is to have some candies or chocolates for the 13 hour trip for San Francisco to Istanbul. You can not beat their price. Crew is very friendly and helpful at the same time. Slippers and socks they give you in economy class + cotton blanket of course make you feel you are 1st class traveler. What else? You name it and it is there. Will fly again with Turkish airlines."

Fordele: "Fantastic onboard entertainment. Lots of current movies and tv shows to watch. Music was available, too. Even a camera under the plane to see what you’re flying over...usually clouds. USB charging, big screens in the headrests, games, remote control with keyboard and game controller, network cable for laptops without Wi-Fi even. The had pillows and blankets on every seat when we arrived and handed out hot towels before the first meal. They also provided a kit with eye mask, toothbrush, cologne, and slippers. Far better than we expected."
Ulemper: "We were subjected to at least five security checks after our transfer in Istanbul. At the gate they checked our passports and boarding passes five times before boarding, every carry on bag was searched and every person was patted down. We even watched while one man held up his baby for a guard to pat the baby down! This was all after the security we’d received to get to our gate. So, if you left the gate to use the bathroom, you had to go through all the checks again."

Ulemper: "We had to spend the night in Istanbul and get only on the next flight the following morning. TK airport (ground) staff that talked to us was antipathetic and it took ages to get any service. Looks like they didn't care we about the delay, nor they were trying to help us. Just kept saying we need to wait."

Fordele: "Service, timing"
Ulemper: "Didnt love the food ..."

Fordele: "Service was very good, an excellent selection of entertainment to stay distracted during the 13 hour flight, and a reasonable rate for the flight."

Ulemper: "The Istanbul airport is very large and there are many people. The signage is generally pretty good, but it was confusing getting off the airplane from Berlin and seeing a sign saying something like " foreigners." I waited in that very long line for at least 30 minutes which ate up most of my layover time. Only to find out that it was for people with visas coming into Turley. I was directed to another, poorly marked, line for people transferring planes."

Fordele: "Not much"
Ulemper: "The crew wasn't very warm or welcoming. No one smiled even once. They made it feel as if they were just doing their job and didn't care about customer service or comfort. The wifi didn't work the entire trip. Also, I got rammed with a service cart because the flight attendant said he didn't see me."

Fordele: "Delicious food, amenities kit with socks, slippers, earplugs, toothpaste and more, fantastic entertainment system, power plugs and USB plugs at every seat."
Ulemper: "The laptop on board ban is a mess. As we were flying to the US, we had to go through literally 4 security checks one after the other. Then, all of our electronics (laptop, camera, even headphones) other than our phones had to be taken. As everyone had to go through it , this delayed our flight by 1 hour. When we landed, we waited literally 1.5h before they started handing out our electronics. All in all, it took me 4 hours to leave the airport."

Fordele: "We arrived safely and on time"
Ulemper: "The seat spacing on that flight was some of the tightest I have ever seen - worse than even most of the short-haul (Embraer) flights i have been on - barely manageable for 3.5 hours. Flight attendants were borderline rude and bossy, but they had to be, because the passengers were loud and unruly."

Fordele: "The crew on the plane was kind, accommodating, and polite. Free alcoholic drinks helped with the long list of negatives aspects of the flight."
Ulemper: "Every flight was 30+ minutes late. Crew members at the gate were consistently on their phones and delayed service substantially. Not only am I incredibly frustrated that I could not bring my laptop onboard to do work, but the fact I wasn't told until right at boarding and it took extensive time to reclaim it makes Turkish airlines on par with Ryan Air for inconveniencing its customers. At baggage claim, the crew loaded our baggage on the incorrect track, making it take even longer to receive it. Seats and leg room are sub par. As someone who is 6'3, when the person in front of me put their seat back, I was forced to take a metal bar on the back of their seat to my knees (no matter the position). I will be recommending to both family and friends that they should avoid this airline at all costs."

Fordele: "We had a 13hr flight and it was a very stress free and relax experience!"
Ulemper: "my USB charger didn't work in both 13hr flights"

Ulemper: "I didn't really like anything."

Ulemper: "Old plane with questionable food, only few movies. Not impressed and considering not using TA again"

Ulemper: "Boarding took way too long - I waited in my seat with no air conditioner sweating so much."

Fordele: "As with the departure, everything was smooth for those who had no carry-on laptop"
Ulemper: "The new carry-on laptop caused a delay of about 1 hr before departure and arrival an hour late, then claiming the laptop was almost a nightmare with long queue after picking up the luggages, one has to also claim their laptops in a make shift station In the baggage claims area. My suggestion is to put the computer laptops in alphabetic order by last name/surname, with the claim ticket,for easier access when picking up. As for departure, probably at check in to inform them that if you have a laptop carry-on so that can be taken care of right away as not to delay departure when they take it at the departing gate. This should be done at check in if in Turkey, or as a transferring traveler, to inform the traveler to take care of that as soon as arrived to transferring destination and for the traveler not to wait until boarding time at the boarding gate."

Fordele: "Better than average in flight service. Excellent in flight entertainment"
Ulemper: "Poor customer service. What the Turkish airliines claims to provide for passengers with long stopover (free tour etc.) on its web site did not happen. We got inconsistent and not helpful information from different Turkish representatives. Tight seat configurations. Uncomfortable for a 12+ hour flight."

Fordele: "The customer service and attention to detail was a nice surprise. I would definitely fly with Turkish Airlines again."
Ulemper: "The space between the rows was very limited. I have short legs so it wasn't a problem for me, but my companion had her knees shoved into the back of the seat in front of her for the whole 13 hour flight. Not so good."

Fordele: "Good food and courteous service."
Ulemper: "I was crowded in amongst a family who decided to camp in my row of 3 seats. (Literally, on the floor.) I could not move because I needed the bulkhead and aisle seat to stretch my legs. I am a Diabetic and needed it for circulation. I did not say anything but, the stewardess should have made one of the people go back to their seat as he was wedged near the window and sitting on the floor. It made my 13.25 hours trip very uncomfortable. They had a child with them so, I didn't wish to complain while on board."

Fordele: "The flight itself was great and the crew was wonderful"
Ulemper: "Due to the laptop ban, the boarding and un-boarding process was brutal. We had to stand in line for an hour and a half just to hand over our laptops, where for some reason they decided to have only 2 people handling the process which created a huge line. The flight was 1:30 late and as we landed, there was no method to the delivery of the laptops to people. I had to wait almost 2 hours to get my laptop. Again, they only had 2-3 people handling the distribution of the laptops. I understand the security issue, but this issue was known for weeks now and there is no reason not to have enough people on the ground to take care of the boarding and distribution of electronic devices to at least make this an easier experience. There is no excuse for such poor preparation and service."

Fordele: "I got extremely sick on the flight from Istanbul to San Francisco. I now know I caught a stomach bug which hit me on the flights from Cape Town to Istanbul and then even worse from Istanbul to San Francisco. The flight from Istanbul was delayed by two hours due to customs delay for a passenger, as such there was a lot of recycled air. Take that and fact I'm pregnant and by time i started the 13 hour journey already felt sick. I started throwing up immediately and got sick 12 more times. the flight attendants brought me crackers, water and a cold towel and ice. My husband asked if he could pay to put me in business class but was not in airline policy. but i think given how sick and pregnant i was the flight attendant went to ask the captain if there was anything they could do to assist. they ended up moving me to business class to lie down and let me stay there for 3 hours. I got sick upon moving back but getting that rest really helped me. I felt like they genuinely cared about me and am so thankful to the two flight attendants who assisted: 1) Zumrat Bolukbas 2) Hatice (Cabin Chief) These women are amazing!"
Ulemper: "the 2 hour flight delay on tarmac."

Fordele: "Flights attendants were really nice, USB ports on all seats, great selection of free movies and other entertainment, very good vegetarian food."
Ulemper: "Boarding took a long time in Istanbul and could have been handled better. A second inspection was setup At the gate to checks passports, inspect carry-on bags for laptops and iPads, and a pat-down. we were late taking off, the plane was really full, and the cushions on the seats were off a bit. Seems like the plane was cleaned quickly and not put back together carefully."

Fordele: "This was my first flight with Turskis Airlines and my best experience with flying to Europe. The food was excellent; we had two hot delicious meals (best airplane food I ever had). The crew was the best - professional yet friendly. TA airfares are cheaper than other airlines so I could spend one day in Istanbul. That alone is worth it!"

Fordele: "Everything was great! Flight iand boarding was on time and the service provided by crew was simply the best. I enjoyed the entire flight."

Fordele: "Enough room to spread out; excellent entertainment choices; ability to charge phone easily; wifi"

Fordele: "The seats had a decent amount of leg room."
Ulemper: "Stuck in Istanbul airport for three days because of snow. The way the airline handled it was APPALLING. Second night stood in line for a hotel for over four hours only to find out at 3am that there weren't any more. And none of that captures the insanity of being sent to a transfer desk with no way out except buying a Turkish visa and going through immigration. Inexcusable. I have traveled to over 40 countries in the past 30+ years and this was beyond the pale, absolutely a nightmare, and almost all of it (excepting the actual snow delay) in the airline's control. NEVER FLY THIS AIRLINE THROUGH ISTANBUL."

Fordele: "Took Turkish Airline from New Delhi to San Francisco. The flight is at 6:55am from New Delhi, so a little early start - but the connection in Istanbul is excellently timed. The aircrafts were 777-300ER on both legs, and rather new. The entertainment is great and the TV screens are 11inches. Could not complain at all. Food is fine, standard fare, and there are some snacks available through entire flight. Istanbul is a reasonable airport for a short connection. Turkish allows 2 bags of 50lbs free - yet another reason to take it along with the reasonable fares."
Ulemper: "The luggage delivery at SFO took forever! The flight landed at 4:36pm and I got my luggage at 5:40pm. This is something I have noticed on Turkish Airlines multiple times. They really need to work on their luggage workflow."

Fordele: "The whole experience was great. After an excellent meal which included drinks before and an excellent wine selection the flt attendants came through and made up a bed for you. This included a cover for the seat, a blanket and a big pillow. As opposed to United where you have to stick your feet in a little cubby the Turkish plane has just an open bench which opens to provide storage and gives ample foot room. I have never slept so much on a flt. Also he bathrooms are much more spacious than others."
Ulemper: "Really nothing."

Ulemper: "They cancelled my flight days before leaving the country or origin, leaving me incredibly inconvenienced."

Ulemper: "I have never had a worse experience with booking travel and I vow to avoid Kayak and any related services. This has been truly one of the most terrible travel experiences. The flights were changed (not a big deal) and I was told I was due a refund. After three 1-1.5 hour calls no such refund has come and both agencies says the other is due to provide. I am furious and will never use Kayak or Justfly again."

Fordele: "There was upgrade special on our outbound flight at check in which we took advantage of so we were in business class flight from SFO to Istanbul. That was awesome experience - very comfortable fully reclining seats, gourmet food and drinks, impeccable service, wide entertainment selection, etc. Even on the shorter leg flights we took (i.e. Istanbul to Rome and Dubrovnik to Istanbul) they served food (light snack). We flew economy from Istanbul back to SFO but got exit row seats so plenty of leg room and seats reclined good amount. Again, great service, food and entertainment. All the flights we had on our itinerary were newer planes. Turkish Airlines is so much better than American airlines!"

"Trip was good"

Fordele: "flyturen i sig selv var fin men var forsinket."
Ulemper: "Flyet var forsinket så jeg missede forbindelsen til CPH i Frankfurt. Det kan ske. Blev omboket til tidligt fly næste morgen. Sådan måtte det jo så være. Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"

Fordele: "Seat comfort."
Ulemper: "Food selection."

Fordele: "Upgraded to business class for a reasonable fee."

Ulemper: "Maden er kedelig og der var ingen valgmuligheder."

Fordele: "First time on an A380. Probably the quietest (interior sound level) big jet in service."
Ulemper: "Check in line took an hour. 3 clerks to process 3 hundred Economy passengers. Same problem at the other end. 3 Customs agents to process Hundreds of arriving passengers. These super jumbos overload the support systems at both ends. Economy seats are very close pitch and A/C is cranked up to high. Bring a thick coat."

Fordele: "Glad that i was able to secure a seat in the emergency exit row (row 70)"
Ulemper: "Wow, I am not a heavy woman, I wear a size large but I am not in the least obese, just tall and not skinny. The seat width was ridiculously tight! I have NEVER experienced such discomfort in a Emergency Row seat!"

Fordele: "Comfortable seats, good selections of movies for entertainment. Polite flight attendants. Overall a relaxing trip."
Ulemper: "Weak selection of TV shows for entertainment, but movies selections were very good so overall not a real problem."

Ulemper: "There is definetely not much space for passengers in economy' especially for such long flights and when the seat in front of you is inclined. Not pleasant to eat nor to watch movies. I had to slid in and out my seat whenever I wanted to go to the bathroom."

Fordele: "Overall once on the flight the service and comfort were very good. Attendants were very nice and helpful. Always had a smile and made the flight enjoyable. We specifically picked this Airline for its service and reliablity"
Ulemper: "The checkin and "Automated" Baggage Check were a disaster. It took us a full 2 hours to check our bags and get to thru security and our gate. We were practically running to get to the end. The layout of the airport is very tough to get from point A to point B. Walking a long distance with multiple security checks. On top of that, the plane was almost an hour late boarding and then taking off. It was a mass of people with no way to cue for an orderly boarding process. No instructions or info given to allow us to go get something to eat or drink prior to boarding."

Fordele: "Happy to watch the World Cup Final while the flight was delayed 2 hours on the ground."
Ulemper: "Before take off, I found a small brown bug that looked similar to a bed bug crawling on my arm. I took pictures of it and alerted a crew member. They replaced my pillow and said sorry... I couldn't stop thinking of the idea of bed bugs crawling on me and my personal belongings the whole flight."

Fordele: "I had to pay a premium more to sit with my family to sit together in cheap seats."
Ulemper: "I did not like the treatment of being a star alliance gold member then getting gouged even more for sitting together with my family in their cheap seats. My bags were marked with a priority tag, which meant nothing other than my bags being the very last off of the turnstile in San Francisco. One other passage stated that Luftansa does not care abut this aspect of customer service, which is obvious."

Ulemper: "First time took Lufthansa airlines and it was my one of the worst experience. Hospitality is respected when customer is helped when they are in trouble not when they is happily boarded. I have to travel from Milan to San Francisco and I missed flight of my one leg ( milan to frankfurt) of journeyand I went for help and non of the Lufthansa staff at Milan airport helped me. Although my connecting flight was after 12hr they just gave me some random number which to call. I have never experience this in my 8yr of international travel."

Fordele: "Comfort and space comparing to my outbound flight from SFO to Munich. This plane was way older but at least there was a little bit of space. Flight attendants were very nice."
Ulemper: "Entertainment units kept crushing, were not responsive. Difficult to use and enjoy. Frankfurt airport - total mess at the additional passport control before going to "Z" gates. Crowd of people, huge lines, all disorganized. The control for EU passengers was not so crowded but you couldn't see it at the end of the line, so even people who didn't have to were all crowding in the same cue. Horrible experience and I almost missed my flight because of this mess."

Fordele: "friendly staff"
Ulemper: "poor sandwhiches, dry bread. Lost my suitcase when arriving in Billund - got it late next day"

Ulemper: "Requested for Hindu vegetarian meal by call and was informed we would receive on flight. Got on flight to find that Hindu vegetarian does not exist. Starved on both legs of flight. That is almost 24 hours. Plane should keep extras and customer service should give correct information."

Fordele: "Excellent flight attendant in charge of us."
Ulemper: "The galley where the snacks were looked more like a very dirty restaurant kitchen. It was absolutely gross with dirty forks, dirty glasses, overall grimy and dirty."

Ulemper: "My flight schedule changed after I bought the ticket, which resulted in paying for the hotel for the extra night and using one more PTO day."

Fordele: "Seat was good"
Ulemper: "Crew was rude"

Fordele: "Lufthansa arranged for pickup with a van upon disembarking from my late flight from Pisa and took me through a special passport and security checkpoint so that I was able to catch my MUC-SFO flight. Flight departed late, but pilot made up all tge lost time in flight. Crew was professional, very polite and efficient."

Fordele: "Flight attendants were great, friendly, courteous and responsive. The relaxation and mediation program was great! Boarding was fluent and easy."
Ulemper: "No matter what you try to order on the airplane is totally disgusting. If it's not overloaded with cheese and tomato sauce then it's overcompensated with spices (salt or chili). I will never understand why it is so hard to provide simple, fresh and enjoyable meals. Chairs in economy are rarely cleaned up and one can see on the cushions that they are worn out and have lost their padding making the seats very uncomfortable. There was no foot rest available (which is such a simple addition that helps a lot) and the "holder pocket" on the seat in front was a simple net completely useless. Tables were dirty suggesting they were never cleaned and disinfected. Knowing that the highest source of viruses are the tray tables and the pockets in front I would expect attention to be focused on those- it not only impacts the health of the traveler but more important that of the crew. Why is it so hard to think of this business two fold: make revenue but mostly be kind to humans."

Fordele: "Friendly crew, smooth flight, always offering water."
Ulemper: "I was hungry in this flight. I felt the choice of food was small and have never been on a 10 hr+ flight and felt hungry. I'm glad I brought my own snacks with me."

Fordele: "Lufthansa når det er bedst - turen var en bevidst fravalg af Airfrance der også flyver fra København til Alger - og dette fravalg kan anbefales, hvis man ikke har svært ved at komme tidligt af sted..."

Ulemper: "Would have been great if the airlines "flying" had actually been Lufthansa! My electronic ticket said Lufthansa, check in at Lufthansa, but when I got there and tried to check-in...NOT Lufthansa! It was United. I deliberately went out of my way to NOT book with United when placing my reservation. Personal reasons. Won't book this way ever again."

Fordele: "The food was pretty good. Normally I can't eat airplane food but it was actually good."
Ulemper: "The seat didn't go back at all"

Fordele: "Lufthansa service is always incredible. Food is better than most other carriers and so is entertainment. Had a delay due to incoming flights, but staff made sure we had plenty of water and snacks while on the tarmac."

Fordele: "the gate crew didn't care if there was chaos. no interaction with waiting passengers beyond those that queued up with direct questions. i'd liken the experience to herding cattle. customer service skills haven't been taught to these folks yet. if i were basing my lufthansa experience on this alone, i'd go out of my way to fly another airline next time. on the other hand, the people staffing the flight were extremely kind, professional, pleasant, personable. a much improved experience. so much so that i mentioned it to a few people once i got home. this crew has received more training on how to provide excellent service than the gate folks in frankfurt."
Ulemper: "gate crew's attitude. it feels as though they are disdainful of the traveller. customer service matters. manage the boarding process. be nice about it."

Fordele: "The entertainment options were great, and the food was better than many airline meals I've had before."
Ulemper: "I am Star Alliance Gold and I didn't like that it wasn't possible to select an economy plus seat upon check in, and I wasn't upgraded even though there were seats available. I picked this airline specifically because of it's star alliance membership but it didn't get my anything."

Fordele: "Staff on the plane Degree of information about the issues we encountered"
Ulemper: "We took off late which had me miss my connevting flight in SFO. Pilot indicated he would try to make up lost time but in fact we lost even more time"

Fordele: "The very gracious crew kept coming by with drinks and snacks, as well as lunch and dinner (in coach).The entertainment system is top notch, with a few dozen movies, lots of TV shows and more, with screens for each seat. The only complaint is that there's not much space between seats, so that when the person in front of you leans back, things can get tight. On the plus side, the bathrooms are downstairs (down a short staircase) and there's plenty of waiting room, so you don't get the usual congestion. Overall, a wonderful experience for an intercontinental flight."

Fordele: "there was ice cream for dessert at night"
Ulemper: "- Delay > 2 hours and no info at gate at the time of planned boarding - unfriendly ground staff and chaotic check in - old 747, "entertainment 1970s standard - crew looked unkempt (like just out of bed), unfriendly to downright rude, my 85 year old mum was ignored repeatedly and ended up not getting enough fluids as a result - 1/8 crew members managed a smile on occasion - rushed meal "service", all they wanted was to disappear to sleep - crammed spaces - while it was announced "we have three different meal choices, you will have at least two choices" - ummm, no, it was pasta. Period. To be fair the pasta turned out ok. The morning dry ham and cheese bun was not, especially without any drink."

Fordele: "Boarding process was efficient. Staff on the plane were very courteous."
Ulemper: "Your Economy seats are TOO SMALL! I'm 6-foot-4. It was physically PAINFUL to sit in the seats. My legs kept falling asleep and cramping up because I literally can't fit in your seats. Stop trying to squeeze every bloody dime you can out of a plane and add some more space in the seats. Passengers paying over a $1500 for 12-hour flights deserve to be treated better! That was horrible and bordering abusive!"

Fordele: "The boarding was pretty quick, the crew was friendly and efficient, they were great. Food was good. Good amount of space in economy. I loved the whole experience. I would definitely recommend flying with them."

Ulemper: "Economy plus seats were a disappointment. Instead if the bottom cushion sliding out as with the Boeing 777, the seats recline too much. Uncomfortable getting in and out of our seats. Also, there are not enough restrooms. Lines of 5-7 people were common. I will not fly the A380 again."

Fordele: "The staff on my flight were the most friendly crew I have ever had on a flight. They were enjoyable to interact with and went out of their way to help guests. I also appreciate that they wake you up if you are asleep while meals are being passed out; I have missed meals on planes before which is not a great experience on a 12 hour flight."
Ulemper: "The only negative aspect about the flight were that the seats were a little uncomfortable. There weren't any foot pedals to lift your legs and the seats were extremely close together which was uncomfortable on such a long flight."

Fordele: "I liked how organized the crews are. The flight attendants are driven by efficiency. Things were done quickly like serving drinks and water. Appreciated having the hand towel to wipe the hands before serving the meals."
Ulemper: "I fly economy class with United and Lufthansa when I travel from the US to Asia or Europe. Lufthansa seats feel narrower. I am only 1.62 meters in height. I felt there was not enough room for a 12+ hour flight (delayed by one hour). The small leg room began to take a toll after 6 hours of flight."

Fordele: "Chairs were uncomfortable, mainly due to the front passenger was always in reclined mode, and the passenger behind me wouldn't let me recline... He would literally push my chair up, but that's probably because his chair can not recline!"
Ulemper: "We needed to place special request on vegetarian meal, couldn't do it at booking or at checkin, was told to let crew know, they said it's too late. They brought us an "unclaimed" vegetarian meal, but it wasn't, it was Asian halal meal with lamb! After I let crew member know wmy husband was served meat instead, she denied it and said "its not possible" as the wrapper says "vegetarian". I informed her it actually said "Asian halal", she the proceeded to say, well, "i am sorry if it's wrong, but I gave you vegetarian". That said crew member collected my husband's plates while I was in the bathroom and came back later with a "vegan" plate that they now have available."

Fordele: "The seats were comfortable (economy), headrest excellent. Crew especially hospitable. Good food. It was nice to be offered drinks and food without extra charge, including alcoholic drinks ( even though we did not drink on the flight). I appreciate that Lufthansa does not charge for checked bag, food etc and hope to fly again on Lufthansa."
Ulemper: "Having to pay for seat reservation ahead of the flight. I did not understand how seat selection would work and wanted to be sure my husband and I were seated together. I think I paid extra fees unnecessarily. It would be helpful to have better information."

Ulemper: "Boarding was delayed by 30 minutes but they did not inform us of the delay so everyone stood in line the entire time."

Fordele: "Initially things were smooth. Boarding was on time."
Ulemper: "But then they deboarded the plane and everything went south fast. They didn't tell us what was happening or where to go or what to do. Instead we were directed to different service centers. We were told conflicting things. Sometimes they told us to exit the airport through passport control, but without any information on what to do next. They reopened the terminal but then redirected us to a service center. That center was overloaded and we ended up waiting in line for service/information for the entire day. Once I was near the service center they dissipated the line. They told us there was another service center in a different part of the airport and that this one we have waited for was closing. We went there and it was also closed instead they had beds without blankets or pillows limit the halls. Alia we were in line for hours before they offered any water or food. Food was really late. Information was the problem here. We were not told what we should do except to check with the service center. Eventually a few of us tried to get through passport control and check the service center out front. This worked much better. I was able to get a hotel and a standby ticket. That flight went much better but getting that far was a mess."

Ulemper: "This long haul flight was on an Airbus plane with five restrooms in the basement. There was not enough space to accommodate people waiting in the basement so people had to stand on stairs or by the galley. Flight attendants kept on telling people not to do so but there was simply not enough space."

Fordele: "I used to fly lufthansa for my europe travel for work about 15 years ago a lot and thought in recent years it may not have been as good but these flights made me appreciate Lufthansa anew. Crew extremely helpful and polite, always followed up to any requests. Instead of barking at us like United or American crew, they went out of their way to help my daughter get a makeshift icepack for some very painful bumps she got during our vacation. Crew also kept the bathrooms clean from time to time, which was a welcome relief for such a long flight. Desk staff/service desk also was helpful in directing us during the 5 hr layover to things at the airport itself that we could do. They also helped reprint the boarding pass and write down the baggage tags when security made me lose those by separating my wallet and boarding passes into mutliple bins."
Ulemper: "Phone service. When I tried to book my seats and meals, the lady kept getting things wrong, and ended up not getting me the seats I had specifically ended up asking for. So, when I arrived at the airport and printed my boarding cards, those were seats I did NOT want and all the service desks insisted that's what I asked for. No low carb meal option was surprising. Meal service sometimes felt like too close to each other else too far apart from snacks - didn't feel like we had enough time to digest and get some sleep, while at other times we were seeking out snacks.Overall good quality of food however."

Ulemper: "Big Screen at front of cabin when I am 2 rows behind kept me awake Boarding was a mess, not really enoughpreboarding space to hold everyone. Organizers were rude and signs were confusing."

Fordele: "Better than my other Lufthansa flight m, which was canceled, or the SA legs because those planes were old."
Ulemper: "Everything else about buying the ticket with Kayak. Canceled flights and lost luggage with Zero help from Kayak. Kayak didn't even answer customer service lines when I rang for 2 hours in one go."

Ulemper: "It would have been nice to know if each meal contained cheese, as oposed to just general "chicken and rice" and "noodles with marinara and cheese" It turned ut the rice was in a cheese sauce, and i could not eat it, and could also not eat the alternate option. Please think about giving out a detailed list of ingredients for the in flight meals so we can make more informed choices when we have food restrictions!"

Fordele: "Flight from Marseille was delayed. Very tight connection time to make the SFO leg of the trip (30 minutes). A Lufthansa representative met us at the gate along with another passenger and took us via van to passport control and then to a terminal far away from the one we landed. She was courteous and efficient. We get to the gate in time to board."
Ulemper: "My seat was in row 56, second to last row. The temperature was very cold. I asked a flight attendant to make it a warmer. They tried but to no avail. The flight attendant mentioned that aircraft model (now 15 years old) has had that problem that has never been resolved. Solution was wearing a hat and several blankets. Not good for a 12 hour flight."

Ulemper: "This was one of the most uncomfortable flights I've ever been on. The extra cushion attached to the chairs behind our heads made the chairs very uncomfortable pushing our heads too far forward. Not only was it difficult to sleep, it ended up giving me a terrible back and neck ache. The flight from Dubrovnik to Munich didn't have this extra cushion but the flight from Munich to San Francisco did. It's a terrible feature and should be removed. Lastly, the food on this flight was awful and it made me sick. I traveled in Croatia and Montenegro for 2 weeks and didn't get sick once but I got sick from the airline food on the way home, that's pretty disgusting."

Ulemper: "The seat I had with no seats in front of me was very small. Much smaller than the other economy seats because the tray table and video screen were in the armrests. Paid extra for the legroom by ended up losing it side to side. Really had to squeeze into the seat."

Ulemper: "Flight delayed by one hour which meant I missed by train at Southampton by 10 minutes and subsequent bus connect home. Next bus would have been 2 hours later so 45 minute walk home from train station. Didn't bother with food offering, put off by that supplied from Hannover to Schiphol."

Fordele: "Fortunately, the plane was not full, so people could spread out a bit to create extra room. The food was really good! (surprisingly)."
Ulemper: "KLM's new configuration for this type of plane made the seats even narrower than before. While leg room was reasonable, the 3 abreast seating meant a lot of discomfort, especially in the row right in front of the restroom."

Ulemper: "Flight delayed, had to take two more flights and was a four hour trip turned into a 12 hour, 4 countries trip"

"My flight out from SFO was cancelled. No one contacted me with the result I had to spend 3h extra waiting for the next flight. On the return I had booked for a 10:45 am departure. My itinerary said BOTH 10:45 and 07:20. I finally got an agent who said the flight was for 07:20. The movies did not work in my seat. I changed to another seat where the sound only came out from the right speaker. Pretty poor when you spend the money to fly business."

Fordele: "The crew was exceptional, the service was great and the entertainment options were abundant. Great flight!"

Fordele: "Crew and agents very friendly and helpful."
Ulemper: "BA computer system did not link our payment for excess baggage to our itinerary so we had to spend time checking in to resolve. Carry your receipts for any payments."

Ulemper: "Overall it was a very good experience. The crew was bad obliging and professional. The flight took off 30 minutes early from Abu Dhabi. However, it was late taking off from Heathrow. There was a delay of 1.25 hours as the ground crew took a long time to load and get the plane ready at Heathrow."

Ulemper: "We had just a double seat but the center divide only went up half way, wouldn’t go all the way up. Since I was flying with my husband this was disappointing. They also didn’t make many beverage trips considering this was a 11 hour flight a little surprising since we had a 6 hour one that brought drinks more than this one. Also stingy on the drink size so it was disappointing to set less and then come around 1/2 as much."

Ulemper: "1,5 hr delay. No effort from the cabin crew to compensate for delay. Just stuck in our seats for 1 hr waiting for the airline to be cleared for take off. Would have been nice with a hot towel for face and hands after a long semi-night flight (10hrs). Extremely cold. Everyone was freezing and coughing due to very, very cold cabin air. Very old entertainment system. Grainy blurry screens. No charging of devices via usb. The control was fixed to armrest and was accidentally pressed al the time while resting and arm on the armrest. Remote gate in LHR."

Ulemper: "No free non-alcoholic drinks. Everything at a fee. Remote gate in LHR."

Fordele: "I liked that it was a short flight."
Ulemper: "I didn’t dislike anything about the flight."

Ulemper: "I did not fly this leg because Iberia somehow deleted my return flight home. This resulted in me flying home a different way that led to me landing the two hours later than I was originally going to."

Fordele: "Nothing This is not what i wanted on an international flight ."
Ulemper: "i Had arrived early and was seated properly... however they held the plane over one hour delay to help late passengers ... this made problems with the connection flight .. they sent us to the wrong terrmknall and lost our luggage.. I feel like this was planned so they could sell out seats at a higher price last minute Fix all the above Call me to make this right"

Fordele: "How efficient, professional and pleasant the captain As well as cabin crew were."

Fordele: "Lie flat bed"
Ulemper: "Non-A380 plane feels very old now and in need of an overhaul. My biggest complaint was the food. On the outbound leg (SFO-LHR) I had the pasta dish which was dry and poorly cooked so on the return flight I opted for the beef dish which was ok. I thought that the pasta was just a one-off issue. When the pre-landing meal arrived, it was so bad I had to look at the menu to see what it was (pea mousse with artichoke and almonds). It was completely inedible. Finally the amenities bag consisted of hand cream, face lotion and lip balm as well as the std toothpaste, socks, eyeshades etc. in the past there were far more items in the bag. Overall it feels like BA has cut costs and I had a reasonable deal on my flight price which I was willing to pay just to have a lie flat bed. I can't imagine if I paid $5K for this flight and had the same experience. I recently flew Emirates from SFO to Dubai in business class and it was comparable to first class in BA."

Fordele: "Flight was safe and not cancelled."
Ulemper: "BA needs to adopt the Ryanair policy of limiting the number of carry-on bags allowed on board. BA needs to work better on cabin maintenance. Some reading lights did not work. Ryanair cabin crew are nowadays polite and cheerful. BA crew seem stressed depressed and defensive."

Fordele: "It was a long flight but it seemed like the crew was constantly handing out drinks or food and the food was really good. There were plenty of recent movies and TV shoes to watch on the personal video screen."

Fordele: "Liked the big 380 airbus. The food and entertainment was great on the long distance flight. The Airbus seats are more comfortable than others."
Ulemper: "2 hour delay because they said they didn't have the equipment to back the plane out of the maintenance hanger. Really? - at one of the big airports of Europe, they didn't have a tug vehicle."

Fordele: "overall the flight was smooth. they had a video about collecting leftover coins, but but no one came by to collect, and no information as to where to leave your donation, so i just took my envelope and euros with me. price is the only reason I flew British airways again. If I could afford a better ticket I would fly a better airline."
Ulemper: "the armrest between the seats did not go up all the way. the storage area next to the window seat was dirty on the inside with food crumbs. after the recent news about bed bugs, i was uneasy on the flight. the actual flight was smooth, some turbulence but not the worst. they have absolutely the worst food ever. i have no idea what the awful purple stuff is, but they really should get rid of it. it is really unappetizing by the look of it. the carpet was coming loose in a number of places, just in our seat area. how long would it take to put some tacks in, or even some tape? bathroom was nasty and the sink was clogged.and full of water"

Fordele: "We could tell upon boarding that the crew was focused on making our fight of 10 hours as pleasant as they could. They got along well together, which aided in providing excellent coordinated care to the passengers. Not an hour passed without being offered food, drinks, snacks, drinks, and more food. Even a time delay at take off due of a passenger leaving passport in the terminal was made up mid flight, for an ontime arrival in SFO. Would definitely look to British Airways for my next European trip."

Fordele: "Entertainment options were varied and good."
Ulemper: "The Airbus seating in the tourist section is terrible. The seats are very close together, making it very difficult to get in and out, particularly if the person in front of you puts the seat back. On long flights we like to get up and move around a few times, and not only is it hard to get out of our seats to do this, there is little room to walk or stop to stretch. Heathrow London is tolerable if one is going to London, but as a place to change planes, it's exhausting. The various walks feel like mazes, and going from one terminal to another, even by tram, is time-consuming and tiring. We fly to Europe often, but we will try to avoid both British Airways (Airbuses, at least) and Heathrow."

Ulemper: "the only hard part was the boarding in London, very hard to hear the boarding directions. Kind of chaotic. BUT it all worked out"

Fordele: "The air plane ran out of fuel we had to divert to San Jose we waited two hours because of weather and because the paperwork had the wrong pilots name so they wouldn't let the plane fly. Therefore we waited in the airport all night because neither British airways or American Airlines would help us We waited here all night with no sleep no one would give us a hotel or a meal we have now will be getting into London 24 hours later than planned and we will be out about $1000 in hotels in two hours we had booked that were non-cancelable . Multiple phone calls to British airline Waze and to American Airlines for all of the helpful"

Fordele: "Good seats, good attention to the kids prior boarding."
Ulemper: "Language with the personnel was a minus. An experienced flight attendant uttered "Jesus F..... Christ" - as a reaction to people getting up before seatbelt signs have been switched off seems fair, the wordage is unacceptable from an airline that ought to be a pillar of decency."

Fordele: "Comfortable cabin pleasant crew. On time."
Ulemper: "BA charges for everything even water."

Fordele: "Crew was very helpful with an issue I had with my second flight"
Ulemper: "No complementary snacks"

Fordele: "Entrees were OK"
Ulemper: "Not nearly enough snacks. They were pretty much out in business class half way through the flight"

Fordele: "The seat was nice and movies onboard were entertaining."
Ulemper: "No personal AC vents; one small "meal" in the first hour followed by one small snack of popcorn a few hours later on 11-hour flight made it seem longer."

Fordele: "Boarding was exceptionally well-handled. Boarding passess/passports were checked prior to entering the boarding area and seating started when people came into the boarding area so passengers were finltering onto the plane immediately without the first calls for priority passengers."
Ulemper: "Short flight, not much to notice or complain about."

Fordele: "We arrived safely at our destination. Our bags arrived at our destination. Plenty of room in the overhead compartment. Due to a security snafu unrelated to the airline, we arrived at the gate after boarding was over but the gate crew were gracious and welcoming and let us board. The male flight attendant was quite nice. The entertainment screen choices were decent, and the hand-held controller was a great improvement over the touch-screen variety. There were multiple lavatories available. There was a decent amount of space by the lavatories that we could use for stretching and exercising. The wrap they gave us for high tea was pretty good."
Ulemper: "Seats were very cramped. I was sitting on the right next to the window, and there was no room for me to extend my right leg while facing forward; I had to twist to my left and extend my legs under the middle seat in front of me (fortunately my wife was next to me so I could do this). In addition, the passenger seated in front of me decided to recline his seat, nearly knocking over my drinks in the process, which left me with very little usable space. I haven't ever felt that cramped on an international flight. The main meal was very low quality. I had the pasta and it was quite awful; the sides were quite bad, as well. One of the female flight attendants was rather testy and unpleasant throughout the flight. She, and another female flight attendant, seemed put out when passengers asked questions about the food offerings, as though we should already have known what was being served. One passenger had just woken up and seemed confused and the flight attendant was quite impatient with him. The flight attendants were quite stingy with the water and only poured out a little bit at a time; they also came very infrequently, which meant that we had to keep pressing the call button to ask for more (which made us feel bad about bothering them). They would not give us a whole bottle of water, saying that there was not enough, but did, when we asked, provide multiple plastic cups of water at a time, which just seemed wasteful (of cups, not water). The timing of drink service was also perplexing: they did not offer drinks at least 45 minutes before or after bringing the boxes of salty "movie snacks"."

Ulemper: "the fact I had to 464 pounds robbing b"

Fordele: "The food and entertainment met our expectations. The crew was attentive and provided good service throughout our flight."
Ulemper: "I prepaid for 3 seats in the front row of a coach section according to the diagram provided when I paid $75 per seat to reserve them. If I had known we would be placed back a row and not able to be more comfortable I would not have paid that fee. I do feel as though I was scammed for the $225 for reserving the seats."

Fordele: "Crew was great and very helpful."
Ulemper: "The air pressure in the cabin didn't seem right, feet were swollen more than other international flights I have taken."

Fordele: "A very long flight but decent food, good entertainment and leg room surprisingly not bad"

Fordele: "The service and the people at this airline are by far the best experience I've had flying. Love the atmosphere of comfort they create. Good food served and entertainment provide a pleasant experience on long flights."
Ulemper: "The seating was a little small, but still comfortable."

Fordele: "-Crew was very attentive to the passenger who needed medical attention. -Captain spoke clearly and slowly. All crew members were very professional. -Cleaner and bigger WC rooms than most planes I've been on which is always a plus."
Ulemper: "-Food was mostly bland (e.g. vegetarian lasagna), overly seasoned (e.g. caramel/chocolate pudding dessert) or just not quite good (e.g. cole slaw). Lots of room for improvement here. Thank goodness I'd packed some snacks while we were still in Barcelona. -The earbuds wasn't very good in comparison to other in-flight earbuds I've used from other airlines. Sometimes staticky, noise cancellation was low, and wasn't as comfortable to wear."

Fordele: "The agents and crew were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The boarding was timely, the crew was very friendly. The service was exceptional. The only issue was seating, too cramped. I am 5'11"and weigh 135. I was uncomfortable in my seat. My husband was uncomfortable in his seat. This made a 9 hour flight rough. The crew, food and entertainment were great, but the seating made me think twice about flying to Europe on British Airlines in the future."

Fordele: "Travelled in business class so priority boarding was good Well planned boarding by different seat sections Crew attentive when needed but not intrusive"
Ulemper: "Food selection not great Video screen brightness not working on my screen and so very difficult to watch movies"

Fordele: "Seats were cushioned and comfortable, entertainment screens were crisp and colorful, restrooms stayed clean and maintained throughout flight."

Fordele: "My husband was entertained with the movies but I felt the selection was limited. The dinner was good but felt we were limited on drinks. Leg space was very good compared to other airplanes. Crew was excellent in getting passengers settled before the flight."
Ulemper: "The boarding area was too small of a space for so many people. The snack was served to late in the flight. Waiting to get into the bathroom was a bit long."

Ulemper: "Missed connection again at Heathrow. That's 2 out of 4 of the last trips."

Fordele: "The entertainment options were great with very good movie selections. The food was not as bad as I thought it'd be."
Ulemper: "Crew members came off as a bit racist and weren't nice at all. One of the flight attendants spilled liquid from my cup and didn't even apologize. Instead she blamed me for stacking stuff with my cup"

Ulemper: "We purchased tickets months in advance. We were unable to check in online ahead of time so they put us on standby. We were informed by the airline that they overbook 20% - always. I purchased a seat on that flight, I should have been guaranteed that I got it. Being unable to check in early should not be a cause to bump us."

Ulemper: "We sat on the runway for 3 hours while they fixed a mechanical problem. This is understandable. However, what was not ok was that the last hour to hour and a half, we were delayed because 2 people decided to leave the airplane and staff were looking for their bags. I find it outrageous that BA inconvenienced 400+ passengers for the sake of 2! This should not happen no matter how much they paid for their seats."
