Breakfast buffet unattended, food cold, enpty dishes, no butter, etc. Need one individual to monitor constantly. Short staff, overwhelmed but pleasant.
Our second time staying at this hotel while visiting family, the rooms are very nice and comfortable. We enjoy the hotel and would anticipate staying there again in the future Wedding party on Saturday night meant people were running up and down the halls until late. Hotel should have done more to curb the noise. Pool was closed even though it was 80+ degrees outside.
The separate sitting area with the fridge and microwave was very convenient. Surround the hotel was major construction that would go on day and night. Getting around was difficult. Also, the walls were thin. Every time anyone left there room and their door slammed it sounded like it was in our room.
Friendly staff. Price did not include breakfast, and should have.
PLENTY OF ROOM, PRICE WAS EXCEPTIONAL FOR THE VALUE
girls love the pool and the area no
Friendly staff; free breakfast and dinner;
Easy access right off the interstate. Outlet under room's air unit was exposed. Our kids are older, but a younger, more curious child could easily find it and get hurt.
What wasn't to like. Room met expectations. Staff was excellent, their madness escape me but not there service and friendliness. The extras are better than expectations.
I enjoyed the location of the hotel! N/A

Customer service Surrounding traffic to and fro, Marta not close. Was going to Merchandise mart dt
We had to evacuate Hilton Head Island because of hurricane Matthew. The staff at the Drury was exceptional in making us feel like we were visiting our family. Every staff member we came in contact with couldn't have been more pleasant and accomodating
Close to the interstate Looks like the furniture in the living room area is outdated. Everything was very clean & comfortable.
Location and price Like most other hotel reviews , bath can always need repairs.
Check-in was easy. Check-out was a nightmare. I tried to check out early and they wouldn't let me/refund me and made it extremely difficult for me/hotels.com to get the refund. Hotels.com actually refunded me while trying to resolve the issue. I choose a non-smoking room, still smelt smoke in the room and it was covered with incense. Incense residue was still on the bathroom floor and the towels where disgusting. First check-in was late so I just went to sleep, next day they said they didn't have any rooms and to check tomorrow, same happened the next day and they couldn't move me to another room ($3 more per night) without making me pay for it in full. This place is ridiculous, run away from it. Horrible customer service and horrendous rooms.
I enjoyed the happiness & sincerity from each employee working there. Hospitality was at its finest when arriving to Motel 6. The area was convenient to the city & nearby other popular businesses. It felt very family like, as I noticed, the hotel was VERY busy. I enjoyed seeing different groups of families on every floor, in every building, and in the surrounding area because it felt more safe. In addition to all of this - I love the updates & renovations done to this place. Certainly was not a Motel 6 in my eyes. I was so shocked to see how modern everything was! Enjoyed my stay. Having a full breakfast would have been lovely versus just the coffee idea. Maybe in the future?
There were places nearby to eat Not clean, did not have normal amenities like hair dryer, shampoo, coffee, ice in hall, only 3 pillows, no toilet lid, water temp varied, maids did not sweep or clean well, ugly wall color, drug use in parking lot, loud overnight noises, bad experience
There where beds Floors felt like they where mopped with grease, there where at least 4 rooms near ours that where smoking weed, the police and a drug dog where the first thing my kids saw after returning from dinner; 2doors down from our. The was also one mini bar of soap, and only two towels.
The location and staff Nothing
Room, staff, location all very good. Clean and quiet. The breakfast I got at the cafe was not hot (eggs and toast) and it was obviously the pre-packaged eggs. I just want a fresh cooked egg for breakfast. The salt and pepper shakers were also so clogged up they wouldn't dispense. So the breakfast bar was nice and clean, just needs some work on the food. A fresh smoothie option might be nice too.
It was conveniently located with access to everything. It was cleany and comfortable. We greatly enjoyed our time there and made it a home. I loved having a gym accessible. The staff was wonderful. The room was a little smaller than anticipated. For being a Marriott, it seemed overpriced for that size room. I usually love all Marriotts and I was a tad disappointed. However, it was still very nice considering.
Other than some noises from other guests the stay was very good. We were out a bit during the day so didn't have much interactions with staff. The room was clean and comfortable. They gave us the handicap room.
Front Desk was helpful Charge was $5 more than stated for State Hotel-Motel Fee.
Overall it was a pleasant hotel with nice staff. The room was an average size but the bathroom area was smaller than I would prefer. I slept well, the beds were comfy and the pillows were nice too. Beware of the FAKE EGGS!!!! That was the grossest thing. They look real from far away but as soon as you see them they look weird, then you say okay let's see how that taste and then you immediately spit them out. I had never experienced fake food and I will be cautious from now on of hotel breakfast foods.
The hotel was right off of the highway, so it was very convenient for my roadtrip. Noise from the highway was annoying and an even louder AC unit in the room that didn't seem to do much. I would recommend requesting a room that does not face the highway to avoid this. Rooms were very outdated and felt like I was in a crappy dorm room. The location was in the more industrial part of Marietta and the only decent restaurant for dinner that was close by was an Applebee's with terrible service and bad food. As a single female traveler I didn't feel 100% safe during my stay.
Breakfast buffet is awesome! Love making waffles in the waffle grill! All the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. I think the most friendly staff at a hotel ever. Room was clean and fresh. Bed was comfortable. AC was quiet except for a little fan noise when it kicked on. Very pleasant stay. There happened to be a bunch of kids baseball teams staying there the same time I was and I think the volume of people overloaded the pool capacity. It was green and cloudy. I did see the pool people there every morning checking the levels of everything, pressure washing the pool deck, and cleaning the pool. I think there were just too many people using the pool (but one of them was not me).
When we arrived we were Hungary, no problem they had that coverd simply awesome. Nothing
I really like the hotel, if I come back to Atlanta Georgia I would definitely use them again Non that I can think of
The complimentary breakfast was very good! The hotel staff was courteous and efficient. We got to the hotel after 10pm and had a little trouble finding parking for a long bed crew cab truck. Much of the parking was already taken and there were some light truck/trailer combinations parked crosswise across several spots - so maybe we just hit an unusual night.
This was literally right off the interstate. The staff was nice, the room clean, and the breakfast was yummy!
I enjoyed how clean and modern the rooms were. The staff was friendly at most. One thing that really worked my nerves was how unorganized the hotel was. For some reason the hotel seemed very unfamiliar with booking with a third party in fact they offer me to stay in a double bed after clearing explaining that wasn't what I booked. After the fact I was placed into a king bed as originally booked. Once they gave me the keys it was to a room that already had a guest staying in it. The guest explained that he was supposed to had check but hadn't. I was unnerved that they were unaware the room was occupied so the hotel gave me a free breakfast without my request to accommodate for their mistake. Seeing that first impressions are everything if it wasn't Fourth of July weekend and every other hotel was booked I would have never had the opportunity to forgive the staff and enjoy my wonderful room.
The new renovation is awesome! Kudos!
The room was amazing!!!!
The staff was nice and room was ok. Room could have been a bit cleaner. More in the bathroom. There was still used razors and items from previous guests in bathroom. The highway noise was very loud.
I was on a budget so the price was def right but the lower level in quality is def noticeable Tolerable if you are trying to take advantage of the lower price the mattresses sagged, but no problem sleeping on it had to fight from time to time with the key card reader at my bedroom door and with the backdoor of the building the room initially had a smell I had to personally hit with Lysol
Nothing, very disapointing! They had given our 2 rooms away and admitted to us that it was their mistake. We got 2 full size bed rooms on a very noisy hall. Difficult to sleep. One room 's deadbolt didnt even work!! Would never even consider staying there again!! Believe they owe us a big discount!!
Location was perfect Bed was sagging in the middle
It was all over great.
$40 tickets to six flags. This location is central to all surrounding areas. The local pizza delivery ( Night Owl) was good. The pool was out of order. I would have chosen another hotel if I had been aware. They were suppose to be repainting the floor of the pool, although I did not see anyone working on it from Fri to Mon.
When I arrived around 4:00 in the afternoon to check into my room there was no one at the front desk. I called out several times with no answer. About the 5th time I called out someone shows up and wants to know what I want. No apologies for having me wait and not really friendly.
The only thing I like about this hotel is that it is directly beside Dave & Busters. As far as front desk staff is concerned I give them the okay at best. As soon as I entered into the room the first thing I noticed was the smell granted it was a smoking room however the smell was terrible and then I noticed ants and roaches crawling from the refrigerator behind the microwave and coming out of the air conditioning unit I checked in at 3:40 at 4 o'clock on the dot I was on the phone with hotels.com requesting a cancellation and I have all of my money refunded the front desk staff lied to the hotels.com representative and stated that the manager was not on site. But I was looking directly at the hotel manager as he noticed his fellow staff on the phone with hotels.com and he immediately try to leave because the policy states that the manager is the only one that can give the full refund. I'm not a picky person however at the end of the day when you notice things like this and you try to get compensated for it for you to be lied to and manipulated and cheated that doesn't sit well with me. This is the absolute worst hotel I have ever visited and I do not recommend this hotel for anything for anybody.
Heating/airconditioning broke Dirty
Room is clean and design well, not like a motel Smoking smell come from ventileter in restroom, maybe the guy upstairs was smoking. Coffee machine doesn't work. Told the front staff to change it but nobody come.
Bathroom was dirty, used Bandaid and bugs on floor. Didn't look like shower had been cleaned in a while. Slept on top of bed with clothes on.
Very clean, great staff, fantastic bed, and water pressure. Cants really give you any negatives.
The manager even called our room 20 min's after we checked in to make sure we liked the room. Very nice place to stay! Nothing.
Shower head was falling off wall. Peep hole was missing and filled in with plastic bag...
Price Service was nonexistant. Noone to be found checking out at 6:30 am
The room was large. Just about everything! This place was entirely over priced!
I got a great deal through Kayak. Should have known it was too good to be true. Needs updating - furniture Was banged up, carpets stained, room smelled. Would not stay there again.
Location and cost The wi-fi was terrible. We had to hot spot from our phones to keep up with our work and contacts. I checked using "Speedtest" and the result was .0145. I usually get at least 20 at other hotels.
I love the bed, and the security that this hotel has. No one can come in without a key and its 15 minutes away from downtown. I didn't like the carpet and the bathtub had other phones hair in it. The kitchen didn't come with any utensil or pots.
Right off main road Room was super dirty! Had to clean the bathroom before I could use it. Was a non smoking room but yet smelled badly of smoke and had burns in the bedding. Walls and floors looked like they were never once cleaned. There was even dried blood on our door. Very run down and needs a remodel badly.
There is nothing to like or recommend. Low rat and not worth even that. Check in throat security glass, dirty room, people loitering, a joke of a breakfast. I expected to witness at any time a drug raid or prostitution bust at any moment. Booked two nights but could bring my self to stay more than the first night and that was only because I was exhausted. Next morning I left and never looked back.
Price was reasonable, and it was conveniently close to resturants. There was nothing special about the motel. It was a decent place to sleep. The staff was friendly. I had no complaints.
Gets the job done. Probably wouldn't stay here more than a night or two. I was plenty comfortable and there was nothing alarming about the place. If you're high maintenance... move on!
Room was mostly clean Steven was accurate with the description, but was generous with the rating. If you have the money, stay somewhere else.
Cheap rate Escorts lingering, drug deals outside, loud guests
There was a mini fridge and an oven as well as a television. The A/C was good also. The location was good. A smoking room was given due to "Lack of non smoking room" the smell was horrendous. The carpet felt sticky when walked on and just overall did not feel clean.
Checking out The hotel staff gave me a key to a room that was occupied. The second floor has a moldy odor.
price very hard to find on Powers Ferry Rd, hidden behind EXON Sta nobody in check-in, wait for guy on 3rd floor hauling dirty laundry down, no TV control in room, no water glasses/cups, and no changes of towels & sheets for 2 days.
Location Smelt like marijuana in the halls and people were partying all night! A/C didn't work correctly. It was the worst experience I've ever had at a motel. I had been traveling for a living for over 15 years and this was by far the worst I've ever encountere
The service was excellent and the staff was friendly I didn't like how far it was from my destination
The gentleman at the desk upgraded due to overbooking, the room was wonderful. I will consider upgrading to a suite next time. The location. I was not the only one having issues with locating the hotel.

The man who checked us in was fantastic! Our air/heater didn't work properly. We turned it down to 60 but it never got cooler than prob 73. If it had worked, it would have been a perfect stay. We didn't realize it wasn't cooling until later in the evening and decided to live with it.
the staff at front desk are such a great group of people that truly help and care about your needs etc. No

clean and quite. convienent access to Atlanta downtown. HVAC too noisy
nice room that was better than expected for being two stars staff was somewhat rude upon arrival
It was quiet and easy access for our activities. Staff was friendly. Room was nice. Carpet was worn and dirty in the hallways. Breakfast was rather lean and tasteless. 2 mornings the coffee pot was empty at 7a.m. not good for a hotel offering coffee with breakfast.
Very friendly staff, cleaning crew is super nice. Parking was a bit tight, but not bad at all.
friendly staff, clean room and in a nice location
We got our conformation email that said our room was booked. When we got there the office was closed. When we called the number an after hours clerk said they were over booked and we didn't have a room. We ended up staying at a nearby motel(same parking lot). All four of us were in one bed. The room was bad. It had burn holes in the blanket and on the curtain. You could see daylight around most if the door. There was no coffee maker, no complimentary breakfast, no hair dryer, a single bar of soap, and the remote had tape on the back to hold the batteries in place. It was awful, but we were grateful to have somewhere to lay our heads for the night. We will not be booking with Studio 6 EVER again. As for the other place, we were thankful that they worked with us. The staff was friendly but the hotel owners need to put as much work into their rooms as they have put into their lobby.
Staff did their best to accommodate me and was extremely kind. Location is extremely convenient. Previous stays here have been excellent. Cockroaches. Took 4 different rooms to get a room that didn't have multiple visible cockroaches at check in. When they did finally find one, although the cockroaches weren't initially visible, I ended up seeing a few throughout the course of my 2 night stay. Needs to be handled immediately. I'm hoping this was a temporary issue as I have stayed here twice before over the last year with no cleanliness or bug issues.
I was called by Studio 6 staff, while en route to the hotel, and notified that the rooms I had booked were unavailable, and I would be switched to rooms at the adjacent Motel 6. I agreed to the switch and made it clear that I would be arriving LATE that evening and I wanted everything handled I arrived at the hotel, at 2am after car trouble set our travel plans back, to discover that I had NO rooms. Whomever was responsible over at Studio 6 never processed the transfer and the desk staff at Motel 6 was abrasive and indignant, unhelpful except to book me two new rooms. I was disgusted by my treatment and wouldn't recommend the place. Our room had a distinct scent of tobacco, although I reserved SMOKE-FREE rooms. The rooms were shabby, with worn furnishings and weird plastic mattress covers that creaked whenever we moved an inch.
Nothing it was really bad and the breakfast was very limited only had a few selections. It was in a great location to get to Atlanta would never stay here again. I honestly was worried about everything while staying here. I felt like myself and my car were not safe
The staff was very friendly & welcoming. The lobby & my room were very clean, no stale odors, everything in working condition, bed comfortable. No ice available; machine not working...sign on it said to go to office for ice...just didn't feel like going to the trouble....
THERE IS NOTHING TO LIKE ABOUT THIS HOTEL!! I HAVE BEEN CHARGE TWICE FOR A ROACH INFESTED, FILTHY ROOM WHERE THE LOCAL DRUG DEALERS HANG OUT ALL NIGHT. PLUS THE HOT BREAKFAST CONSISTS OF COFFEE AND A TOASTER. ONLY STAYED ONE NIGHT BECAUSE WE ARRIVED AT 1:30 A.M. AND HAD NOWHERE ELSE TO GO.
The staff are very helpful and friendly, and the room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was a bit skimpy. Some fruit or a choice of different bread would have been excellent. At least there was a convenience store close by.
Didnt like anything about the hotel
The host was semi-nice when I checked in. From the exterior the hotel looked nice. As a young women, I felt VERY unsafe staying here. There was lots of places that were not well lit and the door to my room wouldn't deadbolt. At 5:20am a strange man kept knocking on my door and wouldn't leave. I would not recommend staying here for anyone who is traveling alone. There also weren't any towels, cups etc. provided so I was unable to take a shower and drink water while I was there. The beds were so stiff that I didn't sleep well. Save yourself from this experience and just pay a little extra. You will appreciate it in the end.
I'll preface by saying I am FAR from picky when it comes to resting my head. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the desk clerk was relatively nice once she found my reservation. It took her about 10 minutes to find it, though. The room was very simple but I didn't really mind that. The television was from the mid-90s and the remote didn't work. There was cigarette ash on top of the 'entertainment center' (if you can call it that). I'd like to mention it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The bathroom floor was oily feeling and there was no shower curtain. Water got all over the floor when I showered. The shower faucet dripped all night. There were two bath towels. One of them had a blood stain on it. The other was relatively clean. The worst was yet to come. I got in to bed and realized there was no comforter, just a thin sheet. I couldn't get to sleep until 5am because of a man shouting outside. This was an EXTREMELY sketchy neighborhood. I saw two women I could have sworn were prostitutes. Most of the occupants lived there. Anyway, back to the room. I woke up on three separate occasions with bugs crawling on me. The first time was a spider and the other two times were small borrowing type roaches. Overall, I saw at least 10 of these roaches. The heater worked okay, but all in all, I wish I would have paid the 15 dollars extra for a more decent place. Again, I am not picky at all when it comes to sleeping but this was a new experience for me. Never have I woken up from bugs crawling on me unless I was camping. Steer clear if you know what's good for you.
