The new interior decor Staff seemed clueless, didn't know the breakfast place in the hotel wasn't open.
The hotel recently underwent a 25 million dollar renovation and it was impressive! The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was super comfy and we had a great view of the city! With such a massive renovation, I would expect fabulous bathrooms. And they were not. At all. The worst part of our stay was having to pay $30 to park our car on top of the $240 we paid for the room. That alone is enough to make me hose another hotel next time I stay in downtown Nashville!
Lobby was beautiful. Staff friendly and very willing to help Towels were rough. Water pressure in shower weak
booked for the distance to downtown Nashville, so very walkable, very safe; however, had we realized that the CMA had just occurred two days earlier, we probably would have booked earlier than we did and been able to find something more affordable and just as convenient. given that we were already paying $350 for just 2 double beds, there was a $15 charge for internet service and $28 for parking (or $32 for valet parking). We parked at an outdoor lot just down the street and so saved $8 a day; the room was not very spacious and just had one chair to sit in other than the two double beds.
My wife and I went to Nashville for the country nightlife. The location was the best! Everything was within walking distance. On the night it rained, the hotel provided us with a free shuttle! The gym was far beyond expectations as well, great equipment and clean.
Upon arrival my room was not ready at the check in time, so the front desk gave us a voucher for some cocktails and apps to enjoy in the library lounge. Also, it was super quiet at night. Which normally is wonderful. However, I tans to sleep with a fan noise. The front desk gladly accommodated me and brought one up to our room!
Great location for visiting the Ryman and very clean and well run. Will visit again when returning to Nashville for pleasure.
Nicely decorated. Great views! Staff were very nice! This hotel was very nice except for the fact that our room was connected to the room next door and we could hear everything that was said/going on in the room next door. This definitely made us paranoid that they could also hear us. Very frustrating.
Great location. Staff was very professional and friendly. Went out of their way to make our accommodations perfect.
Great location, great view of downtown, very nice facilities I reserved a deluxe suite according to the pictures online. The room was not near luxurious as the pictures, especially the bathroom.
Beautiful remodel... Lobby and public areas were gorgeous. The room was very cute too Room was a little small, and elevators were slow
From the moment we pulled up front we were treated as if we were their only guest. The lobby was absolutely beautiful and the ease of check in was outstanding. We were only in for one night so we got to our room, which just blew me away on how nice it was, changed and headed to the pool to relax for a bit before heading out for dinner. I would highly recommend Omni to all travelers coming to Nashville. The only part I didn't like was leaving. The hotel did nothing wrong, we just didn't want to leave to comfortable bed and the view of Nashville.
Great location, very clean and excellent staff. Walking distance to downtown making it extremely convenient. Make sure you check out the pool and take advantage of the car service.
The appointments in the hotel created a luxurious atmosphere. On Sunday we were not allowed to call for our car until after checking out. We waited 20 minutes for the car given the number of people checking out at the same time. Visit ended on a irated note.
Great location!! Surprised at such an upscale property that there is a WiFi fee if you are not a Omni member or if you do not sign up to be a member.
Clean and luxurious Cleaning staff kept bothering us early in the morning to clean rooms. Don't go here if you want to be bothered.
Fantastic hotel .. Music Hall of Fame and Hatch Print located within the hotel ... Convention Hall directly across the street !! Nice hotel bar with nightly music .. Good shops within hotel. The pool area and fitness center are great ... The best location in downtown !!! Really enjoyed our 4 night stay ....
Parking options seemed limited to Valet. The Valet team was super nice and helpful, so that's totally fine. Pool deck is lovely. Views all around are awesome - great location. Staff at Kitchen Notes are wonderful. Food was pretty good. Loved the inclusion of local food sources and other local services (Bongo Java). When they asked me if I'd like a luggage cart, I said yes, but didn't realize that it automatically came with a bellman. In the future, I'd recommend asking if someone can help with the luggage, instead of if I'd like the use of a piece of equipment. One other critique... We have a king bed at home that is way more comfortable than the bed in our room. In general, I can tell that the nicer the hotel, the less likely that I'll wake up in the morning with a sore back from the bed. In this case, I think there's room for improvement.
Loved the proximity to downtown, the outdoor pool, fitness center, Easter brunch and room were wonderful! All of the staff were very helpful and accommodating! The pool was so popular they ran out of lounge chairs in the sun and we wish we could have spent an evening out on the patio after 9pm. Both minor compared to all of the positives!
The hotel is very clean, staff very friendly, beds very comfortable. Location is perfect to all the excitement of downtown. The hotel does not offer free wifi. You have to pay by the day, and at the high nightly rate they charge it should be complimentary.
The beds were super comfortable, the rooms seemed to be updated to a more modern theme, and the location is perfect for checking out everything in downtown Nashville. It is easy to hear people coming back from the bars around 2am and their room doors slamming shut. Also, their were metal platforms on the roadway out front and every time a vehicle ran over them, the loud noise could be heard and we were on the 12th floor. It was very hard to sleep with the noise.
So close to downtown. Great room friendly staff
Staff was excellent and informative! Beds and pillows were a bit uncomfortable.
Security's safety Everything went well when the fire alarm went off.
Staff was very friendly and helpful Plentiful parking across the street for $10 Great location Room was nicely appointed and comfortable for family of four Aveda products in bathroom Quick, plentiful elevators Nothing
The staff at your front desk and valet were great! Very friendly and helpful. The ironing board did not have good padding and my shirt had an imprint of the actual board on it. The iron also leaked water all over.
They upgraded us to the private/penthouse floor upon arrival. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Comfortable beds and a great shower with an endless amount of hot water. Right in the middle of everything downtown. And an onsite Starbucks!! A little pricey. Just to valet the car for one night was $35!
Overall good place to stay because of location, could get a better deal on price. Helpful staff. When I first tried to check in, they somehow had my reservation for the wrong dates. This was amended once I showed them my confirmation email. Building and facilities were a bit drab and dated.
The location was perfect. There's plenty of night life & food options within walking distance. The room was clean & customer service was great. The Bridge Bar was great for meeting up before heading out. The breakfast buffet was pricey but most are. The food was good. The fitness area had suitable. I would stay here again.
Location Booked a king room, but when we checked in they gave us a room with two double beds. I had the reservation confirmation that showed a king room, but they said they had no king beds available. They did not offer to give us a discount, but "upgraded" us to a double room that had two bottles of water, a candy bar, bag of chip, bag of snack mix and two drink vouchers.
The proximity to downtown and the courtesy of the staff. The hotel manager was great to work with and happily resolved the main issue we had. There was no indication that parking was valet only, or that it would cost an additional $35 per night. I think the A/C in the hotel rooms needs an overhaul, the actual room never got close to the temperature set on the thermostat, it wasn't unbearably hot; but it sure wasn't 65 either.
I was woke up shortly after 5am by the construction crew banging with sirens and screaming. It was horrible. The hotel said they didn't know ahead of time a complete lie the building next door has been being built for over a year i found out. The wake up call (not that i got any sleep) was a half hour earlier than requested. Room service was horrible the food was not good and it took over an hour (nearly an hour and a half) to get a club sandwich. The delivery girl pandered for a tip suggesting there was no tip already included and telling me how people weren't answering the door when she was trying to deliver food. I tipped her only to find out room service charges 21% tip built into the bill plus a delivery fee of $2.50 on top of that. The room had a barely working toilet, some of the lights did not work, the fridge had no adjustment and would freeze everything solid, the fan in the bathroom was, also not working. Valet parking guys were great very friendly and professional. $35 per day is awfully high for valet at a hotel that has no parking at all to accommodate their guests except the valet option or you can go drive around downtown and find a public lot. I stayed in a suite that i paid extra for. I would highly recommend this valet service but i wouldn't stay at this hotel until the construction next door is finished at the vet least. I will not stay here again.
Bathrooms a little dated
The hotel has a very nice lobby and is close to Broadway, easy walking distance. Happy hour at the bar from 3-6 was good. Concierge was helpful but pushy to sell tickets for bus tour. Bathroom in the room seemed a little run down.
Proximity to downtown and attractions Hotel is a bit worn out
We loved the quick easy check in and the complimentary breakfast buffet! Omelets were made to order and delivered to our table, and the wait staff couldn't be nicer! They even asked if we were finished eating before breaking down the buffet...for those of us with sleepy teenagers this was a real plus! We picked this hotel because it was located downtown and we like to be in walking distance of tourist attractions when we travel. Location was good, but be aware that this hotel is located up the hill from the downtown area...and it's a pretty steep hill! For women wearing heels it can be a bit of a challenge!
No Cribs were available during our one night stay unfortunately.
Great spot. Close to everything. Clean, comfortable room, nice lounge! Friendly staff.
Very nice accomodations... walking distance to all the activities on broadway street... restaurants, pubs, tourist shops and nightlife! We checked in hours before the blizzard hit and the highways shut down... Hotel staff was very limited, but did their very best to accomodate our every need. The lounge is adequate... a limited but very good menu. And live music at night. Clean room and friendly staff... whats not to like???
Nice room, clean, cookies, and nice staff. Parking was extremely expensive. Also, this should be noted in your booking as it is an added expense.
Location to Broadway, in-house Starbucks and bar. The windows were leaking because they were poorly sealed which leaked condensation and the wall paint was peeling because of the moisture. The room smelled like a locker room because of the mold growth. We paid to be close to Broadway but I expected the room wouldn't smell like a locker room and have black mold. Thank god we didn't have to spend much time in the room. If we didn't have the mold and the stench, stay would have been great.
Great place to stay for business or pleasure. Clean, spacious rooms and very friendly staff. No dislikes.
The only thing i liked was the location!! The hotel is well over priced with what you get. There was no bottled water in the room and having to pay for breakfasts on top of the price of the room is outrageous, making it a very expensive trip.
The location was perfect for walking around and enjoying Downtown Nashville. The maid had to be asked to clean the room after two days.
the luxe the bath was to little
Location was ideal for enjoying downtown sites
the hotel and staff were very nice, but wait a year to stay here till the construction is over. We were very unhappy to have paid $300 to stay at the Hyatt. Our room looked out over a construction site that started work at 6am and was using dynamite-so no napping or sleeping in. We like to nap and then go back out in the evening, but that did not happen. We are also meditators and that was impossible.
Great room with a view of downtown. Jonathon at the front desk comped us a bottle of Champaign to help us celebrate our 25th anniversary. A really unexpected gesture and much appreciated. Translucent door on bathroom makes it impossible to use at night without casting light into the sleeping area.
Hallways were stuffy and too warm
Not very clean. Lots of trash in hallway and overall cleanliness was not what we expected
Hampton Inn Downtown Nashville is within walking distance of many sites and attractions. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The free breakfast was extensive - something for everyone. The lobby area was large with comfy chairs if you wanted a place to relax with a glass of wine (bring your own). Will definitely stay here again. There were only two elevators which cleaning staff used also so at certain times there was a wait.
Everything was great! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean, comfortable, and large. The location was perfect for the banquet I attended at the Music City Center. Only one block away. Nothing.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Location was great Could have been a bit larger in terms of room space
The bed was comfortable and the room was very up to date and aesthetically pleasing The only issue I had was with the spa tub. I got the room because it was my boyfriends birthday and I thought that would be romantic. The tub wasn't as clean as I would have liked.
Staff was very friendly. After sight seeing we came back to the hotel to rest and were pleased to see they had snacks in the lobby in the afternoon. Such a nice touch! Would definitely recommend. We walked everywhere from the hotel and purchased trolley tickets right around the corner. We had a great time!
Location. Breakfast. Valet parking. Priced for location I guess, is little high for quality of hotel.
We all loved the free breakfast which was awesome! We also liked the short walk to the main street in Nashville. We will stay at this hotel again. It was awesome!
Great location for downtown Nashville. Dining area was very nice Staff was great Quick Valet service Nice hot breakfast Coffee availabe through out the day Very hot in hallway Shower only Below average bedding Room seemed more for focused on business type stay (smalll and to the point) A homeless man loitering outside front door
Location of the Hampton was perfect, very close to Broadway and other attractions. Breakfast was very good considering it was included in the price. What I didn't like about this hotel was mainly the fact I paid $70 for two nights valet and my truck was parked on the road all day and all night both times. I could have paid $10 just a couple blocks away and parked in a parking lot at least and it would have been away from all the construction that was going on. There were plenty of spots in the parking garage because I went down there and yet my truck stayed outside.
Location is great, you're a few minutes walk from everything. Night life is 5 minute walk, country music hall of fame is a block away, Bridgestone arena is 3 minute walk. Just great spot to be close to everything. Pay $35 + Tax PER DAY to park your car. We used our car one time in a week stay. Felt like a waste of money.
Location was great for our night out on the town and we was able to walk to anything we wanted to see in downtown Nashville. Hotel was ok but not worth the money I paid for it. Room was not carpeted and the fake wood floors felt sticky. Also there was only around 7-8 minutes worth of hot water for a shower and the heating unit for the room was very loud. Parking was steep too! Would I stay at Hotel Indigo Downtown Nashville again? Thanks but no thanks.
Uncomfortable rooms. Plumbing was totally messed up.
The food is excellent, especially the hot chicken. The bartenders are super cool, and the live music is amazing, especially Mandy!
I enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is within walking distance of restaurants, bars and music venues.
It was cheap and convenient to everything we wanted to see and do downtown, so I'd give it 2.5 stars. the staff was friendly. Decorated like a Hampton Inn from 2003, there was a comical layer of dust on the furniture and the floors were gritty as if they hadn't been cleaned recently. The hotel stole money from me by charging me 31 dollars for valet parking but returned the stolen money after I proved that we hadn't left a car there, so that was sketchy.
The breakfast was excellent. We were only there overrnight, so not much time in the room.
Bed and pillows
Pretty close to all the things we were interested in. Clean. Breakfast was pretty decent. The room was larger than we needed, though it was arranged oddly. They need a separate service elevator, even if they reserve one of the three in place now for service only. There were a number of times where staff had the elevators filled. Also, they could probably turn the AC down in the hallways -- it was actually cold in the common areas.
We found the staff super friendly and very accommodating to our needs. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice to have the kitchen facility although we didn't use it.
Location Rundown. You can tell there's been no money invested in the hotel.
We got a room. Although we did not need it, the bathroom was very accessible. Antiseptic. Needs a refresh. Poor layout: the room and the valet parking.
very impressed with the breakfast..the staff was well informed about what to do...what to see..loved the valet parking!!! there was no waste basket in the kitchen
Staff was helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean and inviting. No continental breakfast.
Close to everything but far away from the fast pace of the entertainment area.
Location, location, location. Lobby was unique, having been an old 1920's bank building. Room was sparsely furnished. Small room, typical of Marriott Courtyard. Lounge chair needed a reading lamp over it. Lousy lighting in the bath area.
Location! Clean Underwhelming for high cost Cafe hours are not convenient Valet very expensive and then we had to wait over 20 min
Nice room great facility Nothing
The hotel was in the perfect location. We were in Nashville to see a concert at the arena and it was within walking distance. However, the hotel is under construction. We woke up at 7 am to the sounds of construction. On top of that, we paid for a king size bed/room and, upon arrival, only a queen size room was available.
Location for downtown was greats Rooms were average
Great location! Just a shirt walk to the main strip on Broadway Great proximity to restaurants, bars, shopping, sporting venues. Friendly staff and competent management. Breakfast available until 10 was a bonus. Some check in and billing confusion was a bit of a turn off, but it was handled well by management. Hotel renovation was a bummer- no fitness room or pool/hot tub at the time.
Great location, breakfeat, friendly staff, comfortable, great rate. Required valet $17.00 per day - under renovations
3 block walk to the Music Mile! Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Friendly and helpful staff, clean room. Only one elevator, plastic over mattress (noisy), outside entrance to room.
The ladies working the front desk and cleaning staff where extremely nice. The man working valet the night I checked is was rude and complained about everything.
While there were amenities that had been advertised that were not available, the staff helped with alternatives. The staff was wonderful, overall.
Great breakfast Only valet parking :\
Location for the price is excellent. Balcony could be nice in warmer weather. Clean room with great beds and linens, wonderful "work" chair at desk and very good free WiFi. Quiet. Nice free breakfast offerings. Bathtub didn't have any handholds, which seems like a significant safety feature these days. Loud fan with no option to have light without it. Not a spacious room, but plenty of room for putting away clothes for a long stay.
Great location, walking distance to all attractions. Friendly staff The biggest negative is that it was a motel with outside entrance & that was never mentioned in description. Thankfully my husband was with me otherwise I wou not have felt as comfortable to stay
Nice full breakfast Valet parking. The valet hit my car with another that they parked. Check your car prior and after for damage. Luckily my car wasn't damaged, and the motel personnel were very professional about it.
I like the service staff. Very nice in general. Location is great, right across from the stadium and a bridge away from the heart of downtown. We could walk to downtown The hotel is outdated but good for the price. The hotel has nice potential. The rooms can be updated a bit. The fridge is ok however the freezer was not so well.
The staff was friendly and service was good. It was in good proximity of Broadway. So for the price and location was worth it. If you want a good shower however that is my only grievance. It leaked all over the bathroom floor.
Convenient location Staff members were not friendly or helpful, the bed the the most uncomfortable thing I've ever slept on, the room door had to be slammed in order to close properly, breakfast was lacking healthy options. Overall it was not a good value for the money.
Breakfast was better than other ramadas I've stayed at Bathroom was poorly built, no fan, shower wasn't set properly and thus held water. Had to wait a half hour to check in while two employees figured out a customer in front of me, and then had my reservation screwed up and took 10 minutes to straighten it out. Roof over the pool was moldy and leaking water
Shuttle service was good and friendly staff For the price of the room, it was really outdated Not best location if looking to be towards Broadway street
loved the location wasn't as clean as i would like and dont think price matched the value of what we got. wish shuttle also ran longer. wouldn't want to stay any longer there than just to sleep.
Location The overall decor was outdated and a bit creepy. The AC did not keep the room very cool. Could use some updates.
Overall nice clean hotel
Nothing worked at the breakfast had to cook our own sausage
Great location for stadium. Helpful staff. Musty smell to room. Noisy rooms on freeway side.
Not very clean and smelled like mildew.
Overall the room and hotel were average. The room was nice and clean, however the bed was hard to sleep on and the bathroom was very small. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was very good.
