Has a cinema inside, nice pool, and good location if you want to have some nice bars and restaurants to go to Beds are extremely uncomfortable. Room was given to us with a king when a queen was requested Room keys rarely work after the first time especially in the self park garage Rooms are in general pretty old and outdated, hence the uncomfortable beds
friendly staff, convenient services.
Location, decor, facilities. The outdoor pool is great. One of St. Louis's classic hotels that has more than maintained its beauty and panache.
The staff were able to accommodate every request. Our club level suite was well-appointed and comfortable. The club lounge concierges were all very attentive and courteous. Front desk staff was the same. The fitness center, Sante, is an actual fitness club to which hotel guests have access. This club had top-notch equipment and facilities, making this the best hotel gym I've ever experienced. I will stay here again for the gym alone. An excellent experience overall, and we are looking forward to our next visit. Like a lot of hotels, the sink and bathtub drained very slowly.
I love the Art Deco building. The rooms are comfortable. It's location near restaurants, bars and the park is terrific. Our room was quiet dispite the the festivities going on in the hotel.
The hotel is beautiful, with a real air of luxury. At a very affordable price too. However I ate here and will not be repeating the experience. The food was so bland it was like eating cardboard. My guest had a different dish and had the same opinion. It was the most bizarre dining experience I have ever had. It looked appetizing but tasted of nothing. I would also like to comment that although luxurious the hotel is rather stingy, you have to pay for wifi and the business centre. The 20% room service charge was excessive. Poor tv channels too. I'd still come back though as such a gorgeous place in a fabulous location.
Everything. Very nice place to stay. Parking garage technology malfunction detained us and a couple other guests for about 1/2 hour.
The location was very near the hospital. I had one of the newly renovated/decorated rooms. The poolside restaurant was very nice in the evenings. I will stay here again during my next visit.
Location, facilities and architecture were excellent. Room was a bit dated.
The hotel is connected to the hospitals, right by Forest Park Museums, unique restaurants. We were on a renovated floor, new subway tile, carpet, furnishings. Some floors are not completed but underway. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast has hot food. We could see downtown and the gateway arch from the hall window outside or room on the 7th floor. Wish it had a pool/ hot tub, but does have a nice fitness room. Parking is $7 per day, but there is very little free parking in this area.
Staff was friendly and helpful Noisy at night
Staff friendly. Location was great Room dirty. Stains in the carpet and headboards. Found a sour patch kid under a chair and plenty of dust/dirt from previous tenants. Shower head very low.
Staff and location was great. Shower was small and the shower head was mounted very low. I'm only 5'9" and it was way to low. Halls had a odd oder. They didn't keep the dining area very clean
Family friendly, easy access to restaurants and public transit system, friendly staff!
Convenient to university area Heater didn't work. Wifi was spotty. Parking was $5 extra. Night door Lock was broken. Felt like a cheap and halfway done remodel of a modest old 1960s hotel.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is in a nice area and seems to be a good value. It was in walking distance from plenty of little restaurants and shops. Also, very near the Barnes Jewish Hospital. Tiny Tiny bathroom!
